통계적 방법을 이용한 복층 저소음포장의 소음저감효과 분석 (An Analysis on Noise Reduction Effects of Two-Layer Low Noise Pavements using Statistical Methods)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to compare noise reduction quantities between before/after two-layer low noise pavement implementation using equivalent noise level analysis and to analyze the noise reduction effects of the two layer low noise pavement with a statistical method such as the Anderson-Darling Test. METHODS : In order to compare and to analyze noise reduction effects between before/after two-layer low noise pavement implementation, data acquisition as noise levels on a roadside and an apartment rooftop was conducted in the study area. The equivalent noise level was estimated in order to compare noise reduction quantities and the Anderson-Darling Test was carried out for estimating noise reduction effects of the two-layer low noise pavement. RESULTS : The equivalent noise levels of before/after two-layer low noise pavement implementation for the roadside during the daytime are 65.355 dB and 63.520 dB and during the nighttime are 62.463 dB and 59.088 dB. The equivalent noise levels for the apartment rooftop during daytime are 57.301 dB and 59.088 dB and during the nighttime are 54.616 dB and 52.464 dB. Also two-layer low noise pavement decreased the noise reduction effects estimated with the statistical method as the Anderson-Darling test for the roadside during the daytime by around 66.68% and decreased noise reduction effects on the roadside during the nighttime by 0.70%. Moreover it reduced noise reduction effects in the apartment rooftop during the daytime and nighttime by 0% and 96.32%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS : Based on the result of this study, two-layer low noise pavement can positively affect noise reduction during both the daytime and nighttime according to the results of estimating the equivalent noise levels and the Anderson-Darling test.

  • This research tries to analyze and investigate the effects of the noise reduction test for the sound-absorbing materials installed tentatively on Metro Line 5. Though the noise reduction effects of each sound-absorbing material showed that there was about $2{\sim}5\;dB$ compared with before and after of the tentative installation, it shows that the noise reduction effects are reducing because of the section change condition such as dust absorption and the rail abrasion as time passes after the tentative installation. Also, many difficulties are occurring in the maintenance of the orbit facilities because of the installation of sound-absorbing materials. Though various abroad products for noise reduction are imported like this, the researches for the noise reduction effect increase for this and the improvement direction are being required because of the poor circumstance of the efficiency aspect compared to the economic investment effect because those are not suited to the character of domestic Metro.

경제구조 변화에 따른 관세 감축의 파급효과 분석 (The Economic Effects of Tariff Reduction Based on Economic Structures)

  • This study is to analyze the economic effects of tariff reduction using computable general equilibrium(CGE) model. We set up the social accounting matrix for five-base equilibrium year. Our main findings are as follows. First, the impact of tariff reduction on GDP was different from time to time. It meas that the differentiated economics structure was affected by tariff reduction. As our economic grew up, the impact of tariff reduction was measured much higher. Second, until 1995 the impact of tariff reduction on total export and import was increased, then while 1995 the increase was dropped. This is because we reduced the tariff by the WTO negotiations. Third, the tariff reduction affected the price of imported goods, so it contributed to substitute effects between domestic and imported goods. According to these results, we found out the importance of the linkage between the tariff reduction and economic structure.

  • Set-up reduction is an important aspect of the Japanese Just-In-Time (JIT) and Zero Inventory (ZI) concepts. In this paper, we first analyze the effects of set-up cost reduction on tatal inventory, average lot size and forecast horizon in the dynamic lot size model. We also examine the various effects of set-up cost reduction in the EOQ model and explain why many Japanese firms try to cut set-up cost and/or set-up time greatly.

무인신호위반단속장비 설치에 따른 사고감소효과 예측 (Prediction on the Accident Reduction Effects of the Red Light Cameras Installation)

  • PURPOSES : This study deals with the effects on the installation of RLC(Red Light Camera). The objective is to analyze the effects of accident reduction after the installation of RLC. METHODS : In pursuing the above, the study uses the 703 accident data occurred at the 64 intersections which RLC are installed or not installed. RESULTS : The main results are as follows. First, Poisson RLC accident model developed in this study is analyzed to be statistically significant. Second, using the above developed model, 33 intersections among 40 intersections are predicted to have the decreasing effects of accidents after the installation of RLC. Finally, the reduction effects are analyzed to be affected by ADT and the number of left-turn lane. CONCLUSIONS : This study is expected to improve the efficiency of RLC and to help in decision-making of RLC installation.

연근해어업 어선감척 적정 목표량 산정 및 감척효과 분석 (Direct Economic Effects and Optimal Vessel Reduction Scales in Coastal and Offshore Fisheries)

  • The aims of this study are to estimate the optimal vessel reduction scales and these direct economic effects of coastal and offshore fisheries in the Republic of Korea. To estimate respectively optimal fishing efforts of individual fishery by species in coastal and offshore fisheries, we adopted appropriate fishing power of each species published by National Fisheries Research and Development Institute and also considered biological and socio-economic factors such as the bycatch rate, the profit rate, the efficiency of resource use, the average age of fishing vessel, the intention of vessel reduction, and the annual changes in vessels by other factors. The direct economic effects of the optimal vessel reduction in coastal and offshore fisheries based on maximum sustainable yield and 2/3 maximum sustainable yield was calculated by a cost-benefit analysis. This study showed that optimal reduction numbers of vessels engaged in coastal and offshore fisheries were 4,431 and 374 vessels and the direct economic effects in coastal and offshore fisheries were about 371.7 and 569.4 billion won and these NPV and BCR were 111.7 billion won and 1.65 and 342.6 billion won and 4.97 respectively.

홍수 유출자료의 공간확장과 홍수저감효과에 대한 댐 영향 분석 II (Dam Effects on Spatial Extension of Flood Discharge Data and Flood Reduction Scale II)

  • 본 연구는 홍수 유출자료의 공간확장에 대한 중간 시설물 (e.g. 댐)의 영향 연구의 연장으로, 공간확장된 시간당 홍수 유출자료를 활용해 댐의 홍수조절 특성과 댐의 홍수저감률 변화를 공간적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 횡성댐과 충주댐의 직접적인 영향을 받는 남한강 본류를 연구중심지역으로 선정하였다. 댐의 홍수저감률에 대한 댐 자체 분석에 의하면 홍수사상 크기가 커질수록 댐의 홍수저감률이 작아지는 것을 횡성댐과 충주댐 모두 보였다. 두 댐의 영향을 받는 여주 수위관측소에서 유역면적의 비와 홍수저감률과의 관계는 댐이 포함하는 유역이 커질수록 홍수저감률이 커지는 특성이 있으며 선정된 수위관측소에서의 평균 홍수저감률은 유역면적비에 비해 작게 나타났다. 일예로, 첨두홍수량(peak discharge)을 기준으로, 횡성댐과 충주댐의 유역면적비가 0.02와 0.6인데 평균 홍수저감률이 0.01와 0.51로 나타났다. 댐에서 떨어진 거리의 수위관측소에서도 홍수의 크기에 따른 홍수저감률은 댐 자체의 홍수저감 특성과 동일하게 작용하였다. 댐의 홍수저감률에 대한 공간적 영향범위를 세 곳의 수위관측소(강천, 여주, 양평)를 기준으로 분석하였다. 이 과정을 통해 댐을 포함하는 유역면적의 7배에 해당하는 유역면적에서는 홍수저감률이 약 0.1이하로 떨어졌고, 최저 0.02까지 떨어지는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다.

통화선물거래의 거래위험 감소효과에 관한 연구 (Trading Risk Reduction Effects for Currency Futures Markets)

  • This study aims to show the risk reduction effects of round-the-clock trading environment. We analyse the trading results of the currency futures contracts in CME Globex which are open 23 hours a day. These include Euro FX, Japanese Yen, Australian Dollar, and British Pound from January 2005 to August 2013. We generate new price series using only daytime prices during about 7-hour period. This hypothetical "G" data series may have greater gap risk than the original "R" data series. Empirical results show the trading risk reduction effects, that is R data series have higher profits and lower risks than G data series.

An Analysis on Power Demand Reduction Effects of Demand Response Systems in the Smart Grid Environment in Korea

  • This study performed an analysis on power demand reduction effects exhibited by demand response programs, which are advanced from traditional demand-side management programs, in the smart grid environment. The target demand response systems for the analysis included incentive-based load control systems (2 month-ahead demand control system, 1~5 days ahead demand control system, and demand bidding system), which are currently implemented in Korea, and price-based demand response systems (mainly critical peak pricing system or real-time pricing system, currently not implemented, but representative demand response systems). Firstly, the status of the above systems at home and abroad was briefly examined. Next, energy saving effects and peak demand reduction effects of implementing the critical peak or real-time pricing systems, which are price-based demand response systems, and the existing incentive-based load control systems were estimated.

법정근로시간 단축의 거시경제 효과 분석 (An Empirical Analysis on Macro-economic Effects of the Proposed Reduction of Legal Working Hours in Korea)

  • 본 논문은 법정근로시간 단축에 대한 이론적 및 실증적 효과를 분석한다. 법정근로시간 단축은 이론적으로 임금소득을 상승시키며 소비를 촉진하는 효과가 있는 반면 실근로시간은 약간 줄어들거나 정체하며 비용 상승이 클 경우 고용이 감소하는 효과를 일으킨다. 거시모형을 통한 실증분석은 법정근로시간 단축으로 실질임금이 상승하고 소비가 증대하는 반면 실근로시간의 단축은 법정근로시간 단축 크기의 절반 정도에 그치고 비용 인상 인플레이션이 일어나 GDP와 투자가 감소하는 결과를 낳는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 법정근로시간 단축이 단계적으로 시행될수록, 그리고 월차휴가, 생리휴가 폐지와 같은 보완장치가 더불어 시행될수록 이 같은 부정적인 효과는 줄어드는 것으로 나타났다.
