반도체 스위칭 소자의 트리거 특성을 이용한 배터리 자동 충전회로에 관한 연구 (A study on the auto-charging circuit of the battery power units using trigger characteristics of semiconductor device)

  • Recently, the battery charging technology and reducing technology of harmonics on AC input line are rising importantly according to increasing electrical facilities that it has been replaced battery with emergency power. In this study, I proposed that an auto-charging circuit of battery has low cost with simple-construction circuit, relative, harmonics reduction with diode tap-change method, high reliability of system for using characteristics of thyristor switching. In case of this circuit, convenience and reliability of maintenance of battery power units were more improved. 1 think that it is resulted in effect of prevention to shortening of battery life from over-charging and over-discharging and decrease of harmonics obstacle on AC input line.

  • 최근 에너지의 효율적인 사용을 위해 제작되어 상용화되고 있는 전력변환장치는 기기 특성상 기본파의 n배 주파수를 갖는 고조파를 발생시키고 있다. 이렇게 발생된 고조파는 기본 정현파를 대상으로 제작된 여타 기기의 작동에 악영향을 끼치므로 반드시 제거해야할 요소로 문제시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 정보화 시대를 맞이하여 증가되고 있는 PC를 대상으로 고조파 발생량을 측정$.$분석 하였으며 그에 따른 가장 효과적인 고조파 저감대책을 제시하였다.

  • The mechanical vibration of a PM synchronous motor at low speeds due to the back emf harmonics may be serious problems in some application such as MDPS(Motor driven power steering), electric vehicles. In this paper, torque ripple reduction for an interior PM synchronous motor including back emf harmonics is proposed. The dq flux linkage harmonics of the permanent magnet are estimated on real time by using the dq currents of the real system and the model of the MRAS observer. Based on the estimated flux linkage harmonics, the dq harmonic currents for reducing the torque ripples are compensated on the dq reference currents. The estimation of the flux linkage harmonics by the MRAS observer and the torque ripple reduction of the proposed algorithm was verified by the simulation and experiment.

  • This paper presents a new technique for enhancing power quality by reducing harmonics in the neutral conductor. Three-Phase Four-Wire (3P4W) system is commonly used where single and three phase loads are connected to Point of Common Coupling (PCC). Due to unbalance loads, the 3P4W distribution system becomes unbalance and current flows in the neutral conductor. If loads are non-linear, then the harmonic content of current will flow in neutral conductor. The neutral current that may flow towards transformer neutral point is compensated by using a series active filter. In order to reduce the harmonic content, the series active filter is connected in series with the neutral conductor by which neutral and phase current harmonics are reduced significantly. In this paper, solar PV based inverter circuit is proposed for compensating neutral current harmonics. The simulation is carried out in MATLAB/SIMULINK and also an experimental setup is developed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Bidirectional High-Frequency Link Inverter with Deadbeat Control

  • This paper presents a Bidirectional High-Frequency Link (BHFL) inverter that utilizes the Deadbeat controller. The main features of this topology are the reduced size of the inverter and fewer power switches. On the secondary side of the transformer, the active rectifier employs only two power switches, thus reducing switching losses. Using this configuration, the inverter is capable of carrying a bidirectional power flow. The inverter is controlled by a Deadbeat controller, which consists of the inner current loop, outer voltage loop and a feedforward controller. Additional disturbance decoupling networks are employed to improve the system's robustness towards load variations. A 1-kVA prototype inverter has been constructed and the Deadbeat control algorithm is experimentally verified. The experimental results show that the inverter has high efficiency (91%) with low steady state output voltage total harmonics distortion (1.5%).

보조전원장치에 의한 12-펄스정류기의 고조파 저감 (A harmonic reduction scheme for 12-pulse diode rectifiers by auxiliary voltage supply)

  • 본 논문에서는 12-펄스정류기의 고조파 저감을 위해 12-펄스정류기의 커패시터 중앙 DC버스에 보조전원장치의 설치를 제안하였다. 그리고 이 장치에 의해 고조파가 감소되는 이론적인 배경을 다루었으며 부하전류의 크기에 따라 보조전원장치가 어떻게 제어되어야 하는지를 밝혔다. 본 논문에서 제안한 보조전원장치는 구형파 전압원을 적용함으로써 능동필터와 같은 다른 방식에 비해 시스템 구조가 간단하고 보다 저렴하다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 12-펄스정류기 고조파 저감법의 검증을 위해 소프트웨어 PSIM을 활용하였으며 제안된 방식의 유효성을 확인하였다.

직접벡터제어방식을 사용하는 전기추진시스템의 고조파 제어 (Harmonics Control of Electric Propulsion System using Direct Torque Control)

  • 전기추진선박의 추진시스템에서 중요하게 고려해야 할 사항이 전력변환장치에 의해 전동기에 공급되는 전압 및 전류에 포함되는 고조파 성분을 억제하는 것이다. 근래에 특수선박의 전기추진시스템에서 속도 및 토크제어기법으로 많이 사용하고 있는 벡터제어방식이 많은 제어기와 복잡한 연산을 요구하고 토크의 동적 특성이 전동기의 정수변화에 영향이 큰 단점을 가지고 있어서 대안으로 제시되고 있는 제어기법 중에 하나가 직접토크제어방식이다. 하지만 직접토크제어방식은 영벡터를 인가하지 않으므로 토크리플이 심하여 공급 전류파형에 고조파 성분이 포함되는 단점을 가지고 있으므로 이를 해결해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 유도전동기를 추진기로 채용하고 있는 LNG 선박의 전기추진시스템에서 직접토크제어방식을 사용하는 경우에 고조파 발생을 저감하기 위한 제어방식을 제시한다. 새로운 직접토크제어방식은 샘플링 주파수의 변화없이 복잡한 제어기를 사용하지 않고 인버터 스위칭 주파수를 일정하게 유지한 채 개선된 공간벡터 변조법에 의해 인버터를 제어하는 방식이다. 제안된 방식의 유효성은 추진기에 공급되는 전류파형에 포함된 고조파 성분의 분석과 속도제어 특성을 통해 입증한다.

5상 1.5kW 농형 유도전동기 개발 (Development of Squirrel-Cage Induction Motor for 5-Phase 1.5kW)

  • This paper propose a development of squirrel-cage induction motor(IM) for 5-phase 1.5kW, 220V, 60Hz in order to study a polyphase ac machinery that keep hold of advantages more than traditional three-phase a IM, such as reducing a amplitude of torque pulsation, decreasing electric noises, and increasing the reliability. Designed methods of the motor use a development tools with Maxwell 2D and Simplorer program. There are designed drawing of manufactured frames of the IM. amplitude and waveform of the generated electromotive force, FFT analysis of harmonics within output voltages and current, and reviewing a experiment results are shown by variable output. We are presenting a design and manufacture methods for the 5-phase squirrel-cage IM.

Experimental Investigation of the Effect of Lead Errors on Helical Gear and Bearing Vibration Transmission Characteristics

  • The characteristics of gear meshing vibration undesgo change as the vibration is transmitted from the gear to the housing. Therefore, vibration transmission characteristics of helical gear systems must be understood before the effective methods of reducing gear noise can be found. In this work, using a helical gear with different lead errors, the gear vibration in the rotational direction and the bearing vibration are measured. The frequency characteristics of gear and bearing vibration are investigated and a comparson is also provided.

A new Instantaneous Torque Control of PM Synchronous Motor for High Performance Direct Drive Systems

  • A new instantaneous torque control technique is presented for a high performance control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Using the model reference adaptive system technique, the linkage flux of the motor is estimated and the torque is instantaneously controlled by the proposed torque controller combining with a variable structure control and space vector PWM. The proposed torque control provides the advantage of reducing the torque pulsation caused by the flux harmonics. This control strategy is applied to the high torque PM synchronous motor drives for direct drive systems and is implemented by using a software of the DSP TMS320C30. The experiments are carried out for this system and the results well demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control.
