초음파를 이용한 구리-은 코어-쉘의 합성 및 전도성 페이스트 적용 (Sonochemical Synthesis of Copper-silver Core-shell Particles for Conductive Paste Application)

  • 서브 미크론 구리-은 코어-쉘 Cu@Ag 입자를 초음파화학과 결합된 금속교환 반응으로 합성하고 인쇄용 전자부품을 위한 저렴한 전도성 페이스트 적용을 평가하였다. 코어-쉘의 합성을 위한 반응에서 코어로 사용된 $Cu_2O/Cu$ 복합체의 $Cu_2O$는 초음파화학 반응으로 Cu로 환원되고 Cu 원자는 Ag의 금속교환 반응의 환원제로 작용하여 코어 표면에 Ag가 코팅된 코어-쉘 구조를 얻었다. TEM-EDS와 TG-DSC를 이용하여 서브 미크론 입자의 코어-쉘 구조를 확인하였다. 70 wt% Cu@Ag를 용매에 분산시킨 전도성 페이스트를 결합제와 습윤제를 사용하여 제조하고, 스크린 인쇄법을 사용하여 폴리아미드 필름상에 코팅하였다. Ag 함량이 8 at%와 16 at%인 Cu@Ag 입자를 함유하는 인쇄된 페이스트 필름은 공기 중의 $180^{\circ}C$에서 소결한 후 각각 96.2와 $38.4{\mu}{\Omega}cm$의 낮은 비저항 값을 나타내었다.

Assessment of flowing ability of self-compacting mortars containing recycled glass powder

  • This paper investigates the effect of recycled glass powder (RGP) on flowing properties of self-compacting mortars (SCMs) containing different ratios of fillers and superplasticizer dosages. Fly ash (FA), nano-silica (NS), micro-silica (MS), metakaolin (MK) and rice husk ash (RHA) are used as fillers and their synergistic effect with RFP is studied. The effects of fillers and high-range water reducer (HRWR) on flowing ability of mortars are primarily determined by slump flow and V-funnel flow time tests. The results showed that for composites with a higher RGP content, the mortar flowing ability increased but tended to decrease when the composites containing 10% MK or 5% RHA. However, the flowing ability of samples incorporating 5% RGP and 10% SF or 25% FA showed an opposite result that their slump flow spread decreased and then increased with increasing RGP content. For specimens with 3% NS, the influence of RGP content on flowing properties was not significant. Except RHA and MS, the fillers studied in this paper could reduce the dosage of HRWR required for achieving the same followability. Also, the mixture parameters were determined and indicated that the flowability of mixtures was also affected by the content of sand and specific surface area of cement materials. It is believed that excess fine particles provided ball-bearing effect, which could facilitate the movement of coarse particles and alleviate the interlocking action among particles. Also, it can be concluded that using fillers in conjunction with RGP as cementitious materials can reduce the material costs of SCM significantly.

The beneficial effect of glycerophosphocholine to local fat accumulation: a comparative study with phosphatidylcholine and aminophylline

  • Injection lipolysis or mesotherapy gained popularity for local fat dissolve as an alternative to surgical liposuction. Phosphatidylcholine (PPC) and aminophyl-line (AMPL) are commonly used compounds for mesotherapy, but their efficacy and safety as lipolytic agents have been controversial. Glycerophosphocholine (GPC) is a choline precursor structurally similar to PPC, and thus introduced in aesthetics as an alternative for PPC. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of GPC on adipocytes differentiation and lipolysis and compared those effects with PPC and AMPL using in vitro and in vivo models. Adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 was measured by Oil Red O staining. Lipolysis was assessed by measuring the amount of glycerol released in the culture media. To evaluate the lipolytic activity of GPC on a physiological condition, GPC was subcutaneously injected to one side of inguinal fat pads for 3 days. Lipolytic activity of GPC was assessed by hematoxylin and eosin staining in adipose tissue. GPC significantly suppressed adipocyte differentiation of 3T3-L1 in a concentration-dependent manner (22.3% inhibition at 4 mM of GPC compared to control). Moreover, when lipolysis was assessed by glycerol release in 3T3-L1 adipocytes, 6 mM of GPC stimulated glycerol release by two-fold over control. Subcutaneous injection of GPC into the inguinal fat pad of mice significantly reduced the mass of fat pad and the size of adipocytes of injected site, and these effects of GPC were more prominent over PPC and AMPL. Taken together, these results suggest that GPC is the potential therapeutic agent as a local fat reducer.

Evaluating flexural strength of concrete with steel fibre by using machine learning techniques

  • In this study, potential of three machine learning techniques i.e., M5P, Support vector machines and Gaussian processes were evaluated to find the best algorithm for the prediction of flexural strength of concrete mix with steel fibre. The study comprises the comparison of results obtained from above-said techniques for given dataset. The dataset consists of 124 observations from past research studies and this dataset is randomly divided into two subsets namely training and testing datasets with (70-30)% proportion by weight. Cement, fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, water, super plasticizer/ high-range water reducer, steel fibre, fibre length and curing days were taken as input parameters whereas flexural strength of the concrete mix was taken as the output parameter. Performance of the techniques was checked by statistic evaluation parameters. Results show that the Gaussian process technique works better than other techniques with its minimum error bandwidth. Statistical analysis shows that the Gaussian process predicts better results with higher coefficient of correlation value (0.9138) and minimum mean absolute error (1.2954) and Root mean square error value (1.9672). Sensitivity analysis proves that steel fibre is the significant parameter among other parameters to predict the flexural strength of concrete mix. According to the shape of the fibre, the mixed type performs better for this data than the hooked shape of the steel fibre, which has a higher CC of 0.9649, which shows that the shape of fibers do effect the flexural strength of the concrete. However, the intricacy of the mixed fibres needs further investigations. For future mixes, the most favorable range for the increase in flexural strength of concrete mix found to be (1-3)%.

기어 제원 및 기어 가공정밀도가 기어 전달오차에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Macro-geometry and Gear Quality on Gear Transmission Error)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the effect of the gear specification and gear quality corresponding to the macro geometry on the gear transmission error. The two pairs of gears with large and small transmission errors were selected for calculation, and two pairs of gears were manufactured with different gear quality. The test gears were manufactured by two different gear specifications with ISO 5 and 8 gear quality, respectively. The transmission error measurement system consists of an input motor, reducer, encoders, gearbox, torque meter, and powder brake. To confirm the repeatability of the test results, repeatability was confirmed by performing three repetitions under all conditions, and the average value was used to compare the transmission error results. The transmission errors of the gears were analyzed and compared with the test results. When the gear quality was high, the transmission error was generally low depending on the load, and the load at which the decreasing transmission error phenomenon was completed was also lower. Even when the design transmission error according to the gear specification was different, the difference of the minimum transmission error was not large. The transmission error at the load larger than the minimum transmission error load increased to a slope similar to the slope of the analysis result.

  • In manufacturing and semiconductor industries, transfer robots increase productivity through accurate and continuous work. Due to the nature of the semiconductor process, there are environments where humans cannot intervene to maintain internal temperature and humidity in a clean room. So, transport robots take responsibility over humans. In such an environment where the manpower of the process is cutting down, the lack of maintenance and management technology of the machine may adversely affect the production, and that's why it is necessary to develop a technology for the machine failure diagnosis system. Therefore, this paper tries to identify various causes of failure of transport robots that are widely used in semiconductor automation, and the Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) method is considered for determining and predicting the process of failures. The robot mainly fails in the driving unit due to long-term repetitive motion, and the core components of the driving unit are motors and gear reducer. A simulation drive unit was manufactured and tested around this component and then applied to 6-axis vertical multi-joint robots used in actual industrial sites. Vibration data was collected for each cause of failure of the robot, and then the collected data was processed through signal processing and frequency analysis. The processed data can determine the fault of the robot by utilizing machine learning algorithms such as SVM (Support Vector Machine) and KNN (K-Nearest Neighbor). As a result, the PHM environment was built based on machine learning algorithms using SVM and KNN, confirming that failure prediction was partially possible.

  • Maintenance of semiconductor equipment processes is crucial for the continuous growth of the semiconductor market. The process must always be upheld in optimal condition to ensure a smooth supply of numerous parts. Additionally, it is imperative to monitor the status of the robots that play a central role in the process. Just as many senses of organs judge a person's body condition, robots also have numerous sensors that play a role, and like human joints, they can detect the condition first in the joints, which are the driving parts of the robot. Therefore, a normal state test bed and an abnormal state test bed using an aging reducer were constructed by simulating the joint, which is the driving part of the robot. Various sensors such as vibration, torque, encoder, and temperature were attached to accurately diagnose the robot's failure, and the test bed was built with an integrated system to collect and control data simultaneously in real-time. After configuring the user screen and building a database based on the collected data, the characteristic values of normal and abnormal data were analyzed, and machine learning was performed using the KNN (K-Nearest Neighbors) machine learning algorithm. This approach yielded an impressive 94% accuracy in failure diagnosis, underscoring the reliability of both the test bed and the data it produced.

  • 본 논문은 마그네틱 기어를 적용한 항공기용 전기추진시스템에 관하여 기술한다. 항공기 추진모터는 높은 토크가 요구되기 때문에 감속기를 결합하여 토크를 증대시킬 수 있다. 하지만 기계식 기어는 마찰에 의한 손실과 열 및 진동 등으로 인해 잦은 유지 보수가 필요하다. 기계식 기어를 사용하지 않는 직접구동형 전동기의 경우 고 토크를 달성하기 위한 설계 시 전동기의 크기와 중량이 증가하게 된다. 본 논문은 항공기의 전기추진 시스템에서 기계식 기어의 유지보수와 직접구동형 전동기의 중량 증가 문제를 해결하기 위해 마그네틱 기어 적용 방안을 제안한다. 항공기용 전기추진 시스템에 적합한 마그네틱 기어를 설계하고 직접구동형 전동기와 성능을 비교함으로 마그네틱 기어의 적용 가능성을 확인한다.

지역난방 열배관망 운영데이터 기반의 파손확률 모델 개발 (Development of a Failure Probability Model based on Operation Data of Thermal Piping Network in District Heating System)

  • 지역난방은 국내에 1985년 처음 도입되었다. 지하 열배관망의 사용연한이 30년 이상 증가함에 따라, 지하에 매설된 열수송 배관 특성상 유지관리가 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 노후화가 진행된 열배관망 유지보수를 위한 정기적인 점검, 운영관리 시 다양한 복합 기술이 필요하다. 특히 현장에서 경제적 관점에서 최적 유지보수 및 교체시점을 도출하기 위하여 의사결정에 활용될 수 있는 모형개발이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국지역난방공사 수도권 5개 지사열 배관망 운영 시 보수이력과 사고성 데이터를 바탕으로 분석하였다. 정성적 분석과 이항 로지스틱 회귀분석의 통계적 기법을 도입하여 파손확률 모델을 개발하였다. 보수이력 및 사고성 자료의 정성적 분석 결과, 파이프라인 손상의 가장 중요한 원인으로 건설 시공불량, 배관의 부식과 자재 불량이 전체의 약 82%를 차지했다. 통계 모델 분석에서는 분류의 분리 점을 0.25로 설정함으로써 열배관 파손 및 비 파손 분류의 정확도가 73.5%로 향상 되었다. 파손확률 모델 수립을 위해 Hosmer와 Lemeshow 검정과 독립변수의 유의성 검정, 모델의 Chi-Square 검정을 통해 모델의 적합성을 검증 하였다. 열배관망 파손의 위험순위 분석결과에 따르면 파손확률을 가장 높이는 경우는 겨울철 서울지역 자동차 도로에 있는 10년 이상 된 250mm이하 배관 Reducer에서 F 건설회사가 시공했던 열배관망으로 분석되었다. 본 연구결과는 열배관망 시스템의 유지관리 및 예방점검, 교체 사업 우선순위를 정할 때 활용 가능하다. 또한 이를 통하여 점검 유지보수 등 사전에 사고예방 계획을 수립하여 대처함으로써 열배관 파손의 빈도를 감소시키고 보다 적극적인 열배관망 관리에 이용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

제조방식을 달리한 chlomethoxyfen과 butachlor 혼합입제의 물리성, 수중용출도와 생물효과 비교 (Physical properties, released patterns and bio-efficacy of granular mixtures with chlomethoxyfen and butachlor formulated by different methods)

  • 각기 다른 종류의 입상담체(extruded pellets, sands, zeolites)를 이용하여 보조제의 종류와 조성을 달리하고 주성분을 피복 또는 흡착시켜 제제한 제제품과 조립흡착식으로 제조된 butachlor + chlometholefen(3.5 + 7.0%, 부로트 입제) 혼합입제의 부유성, 수중확산 또는 붕괴성, 수중용출도 및 생물효과를 비교하여 우수한 물성 및 효과를 갖는 용출제어형 입제 제조법을 개발하고자 하였다. 물성이 다른 원제를 이용하여 입제를 제조하기 위해서 여러 제조방식을 이용하는데 원제 2개 이상 혼합된 입제를 제조하기 위해서 고상인 원제와 증량제 및 보조제를 첨가시켜 조립한 뒤 여기에 액상 원제를 흡착시켜 제조한 입제는 우수한 부유성과 수중붕괴성, 안정된 수중용출도를 나타내었으며, 생물효과도 안정적으로 발휘시킬 수 있었다. 기립입자를 담체로 이용하여 피복 또는 흡착시킨 기립피복식 입제들은 부유성, 수중붕괴성 및 생물효과면에서 기존 입제와 대등하거나 우수하였지만 불안정한 수중용출 경향을 나타내었다. 그러나 모래피복형의 경우 기립피복식이나 지오라이트피복식과 달리 액상의 binder가 비교적 안정적으로 주성분들의 수중용출에 도움을 주었고 분상의 dispersing agent보다 액상이 부유성, 수중붕괴성 및 생물효과 면에서 기존과 비슷했거나 좋았던 결과로 볼 때 적절한 binder와 액상의 dispersing agent를 선택하여 제조한다면 기존 조립흡착식 입제와 대등하거나 우수한 물성 및 생물효과를 발현하는 입제를 개발할 수 있는 제조방식인 것으로 판단되었다.
