개착식 철도 터널 구조물의 기존 지진취약도 모델 적합성 평가 (Evaluation of seismic fragility models for cut-and-cover railway tunnels)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존에 개발된 개착식 철도 터널의 지진취약도 모델들을 가중 조합하여 새로운 모델을 제시하고 제시한 모델의 적정성을 평가하였다. 지진취약도 함수의 형태는 최대지반가속도의 대수정규분포형태로, 누적확률분포로 표현된다. 독립적으로 개발된 각 모델을 선형 가중 조합하는 것으로 모델의 불확실성을 줄일 수 있기에 4개의 모델에 대하여 25%씩 동등하게 선형가중을 부여하였다. 조합된 지진취약도 곡선에 최대 지반가속도에 대한 피해발생확률을 이용하여 지진취약도 곡선의 중앙값과 표준편차를 결정하여 새로운 지진취약도 함수를 개발하였다. 개발된 지진취약도 함수의 적합성을 평가하기 위하여 다양한 터널의 지진취약도 곡선과 비교 분석을 진행하였다. 개발된 곡선은 상대적으로 지진피해에 안전한 굴착식 터널의 지진취약도 함수와 비슷한 취약도를 갖는 것으로 나타나는데, 대상 터널은 국내 고속철도 개착식 터널로 높은 내진설계 기준에 의해 기인하는 것으로 판단된다.

ConeBeam CT로 임플란트 검사 시 MAR 기능 유무와 선량조건에 따른 정량적 및 정성적 평가 (Quantitative and Qualitative Evaluation according to Radiation Dose Conditions when using MAR function in Implant examination from Cone Beam CT)

  • 본 연구는 각각의 방사선 선량 조건을 나눠 검사할 때 MAR 기능의 사용과 영상 품질을 평가하기 위해 수행되었다. 실험을 위해 임플란트가 박힌 간단한 Periapical Phantom을 만들었고, CBCT 장비를 이용하여 선량 조건별로 MAR 기능의 유무에 따라 영상을 획득하고 실험에 임하였다. 본 연구에서는 Image J 프로그램을 이용하여 MEAN, SNR, 그리고 CNR 값들을 획득하였고, 통계 분석을 통해 Abutment of Implant 부분은 100 kVp, 8 mA 조건일 때, Center of Implant와 Apex of Implant 부분에서는 100 kVp, 9 mA 조건일 때 영상이 가장 정량적이고 적합한 값이었다. 따라서 방사선량이 증가하면 영상의 Pixel value, SNR, CNR 값이 상승해 화질이 향상되고, MAR 기능을 사용하면 Artifact가 줄어드는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

단조함수에 대한 불확실성 중요도 측도의 평가 (Evaluation of Uncertainty Importance Measure for Monotonic Function)

  • 시스템의 민감도 분석을 위한 불확실성 중요도 측도란 어떠한 입력변수의 불확실성이 반응변수의 불확실성에 미치는 영향의 정도를 평가하여, 반응변수의 불확실성을 감소시키기 위해서는 어떤 입력변수들의 불확실성을 감소시키는 것이 효과적인지를 밝히는데 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 입력변수와 반응변수 간의 관계식이 단조함수일 때, 어떤 입력변수의 불확실성이 제거될 때 반응변수 분산의 기대되는 감소량을 백분율로 측정하는 측도를 평가하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 평가 방법은 입력변수와 반응변수 간의 관계식이 선형 및 비선형 단조함수 모두에 적용될 수 있으며 입력변수의 분포에 제한이 없으며, 입력변수의 분포를 이산형 분포로 근사화하는 기법을 사용함으로써 불확실성 중요도 측도의 안정적인 추정치를 얻을 수 있다 반면에 제안된 평가 방법은 몬테칼로 시뮬레이션을 기반으로 하기 때문에 계산량이 많은 단점이 있다.

과체중 및 비만 환자의 복약기간에 따른 치료효과 및 안전성의 상관관계: 후향적 분석 (A Study on Correlation between Anti-Obesity Effect and Safety According to Medication Period of Korean Medicine in Overweight and Obese Patients: A Retrospective Analysis)

  • Objectives: This retrospective study attempted to determine whether the treatment effect improves as the longer the medication for obese patients, also, analyzed whether the long medication increases the burden on liver function. Methods: The subjects were 278 overweight and obese female patients who took the herbal medicine Jibangsayak (JBSY) for more than 15 days. The correlation between the duration of medication and the treatment effect was confirmed, and the correlation with the safety was also analyzed. Results: JBSY significantly reduced all obesity-related measures after treatment. All these valuables before treatment were not factors in determining the duration of medication. As the duration increased, the body mass index (BMI) improvement decreased and lean body and muscle mass increased. As the duration was closer to 60 days, BMI improvement increased, and in more than 90 days group, the BMI and body fat percentage improvement stagnated as the duration longer. Aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase, and gamma-glutamyl transferase decreased after treatment. Additionally, AST decreased as the duration increased. Conclusions: This result suggests that not only the high obesity-related measures at first visit not lengthen the duration of JBSY medication. And liver function levels did not worsen as the duration increased. This result is different from the general perception that the longer the duration of medication, the greater the burden on patient's drug metabolism. However, the fact that other factors that could affect liver function could not be excluded and that kidney function evaluation should have been performed simultaneously are limitations of this study and require more detailed research in the future.

데이터 분할 평가 진화알고리즘을 이용한 효율적인 퍼지 분류규칙의 생성 (Generation of Efficient Fuzzy Classification Rules Using Evolutionary Algorithm with Data Partition Evaluation)

  • 데이터 속성 값이 연속적이고 애매할 때 퍼지 규칙으로 분류규칙을 표현하는 것은 매우 유용하면서도 효과적이다. 그러나 효과적인 퍼지 분류규칙을 생성하기 위한 소속함수를 결정하기는 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 진화알고리즘을 이용하여 효과적인 퍼지 분류규칙을 자동으로 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 지도 군집화로 클래스 분포에 따라 초기 소속함수를 생성하고, 정확하고 간결한 규칙을 생성할 수 있도록 초기 소속함수를 진화시키는 방법이다. 또한 진화알고리즘의 시간에 대한 효율성을 높이기 위한 방법으로 데이터 분할 평가 진화 방법을 제안한다. 데이터 분할 평가 진화 방법은 전체 학습 데이터를 여러 개의 부분 학습 데이터들로 나누고 개체는 전체 학습 데이터 대신 부분 학습 데이터를 임의로 선택하여 평가하는 방법이다. UCI 벤치마크 데이터로 기존 방법과 비교 실험을 통해 평균적으로 제안한 방법이 효과적임을 보였다. 또한 KDD'99 Cup의 침입탐지 데이터에서 KDD'99 Cup 우승자에 비해 1.54% 향상된 인식률과 20.8% 절감된 탐지비용을 보였고 데이터 분할 평가 진화 방법으로 개체평가 시간을 약 70% 감소시켰다.

농촌지역 토지이용에 따른 생물다양성 기능 평가 (The Evaluation of Biodiversity Functions According to Land Use in Rural Areas)

  • Rural and agricultural landscapes are important forms of land use in maintaining biodiversity. In addition humans are provided with various public functions from ecosystems and agricultural ecosystems. But the creation of a facility horticultural complex can be a space that can undermine the public interest function of the agricultural ecosystem. Therefore, this study aims to quantify the function of ecosystem services that land use changes affect biodiversity in Korea's rice paddy fields. The area subject to the study was selected as the largest agricultural complex in Korea due to rice paddy fields and land use changes, and field agriculture was also carried out simultaneously. The survey was conducted only in the fields of vegetation, insects, amphibians, and birds, four areas of biodiversity that are believed to have a high impact on changes in land use in agricultural landscapes. The valuation of ecosystem services in four areas of biodiversity derived from this study was evaluated as non-market value. As a result of quantitative evaluation, about 25 species of vegetation were reduced due to changes in land use. The diversity of about 40 species of aquatic insects that inhabit rice paddies among insects has disappeared due to the creation of a horticultural complex. Birds and amphibian reptiles were also found to have decreased diversity and populations. This research is expected to be used in various ways to develop policies to enhance ecosystem service functions.

부재료 침지처리가 김치의 냄새 및 발효 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Soaking of Sub-ingredients on Odor and Fermentation Characteristics of Kimchi)

  • 김치와 각각의 부재료들의 향기 성분을 비교하기 위하여 GC/MS로 정성 분석한 결과, 김치의 향기 성분은 sulfide 계열의 황 화합물과 유기산, 알코올류 등으로 나타났고, 김치의 냄새를 구성하는 물질들은 김치의 냄새를 각각의 부재료에서 검출된 향기 성분들로부터 유래한 것으로 확인되었다. 김치 특유의 이취를 저감시키기 위하여 김치의 부재료인 마늘, 생강, 양파 및 파를 각각 5 mm의 길이와 0.3 mm의 두께로 세절하고 100$^{\circ}C$ 에서 2분간 데친 후, 정수된 물 4$^{\circ}C$ 에서 12시간 동안 침지처리 하였다. 부재료 침지처리가 김치의 군덕내(moldy odor)와 신내(sour odor)에 미치는 영향을 관능검사로 평가한 결과, 세절침지처리김치에서 일반김치에 비하여 신내와 군덕내가 크게 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부재료의 침지처리가 숙성 중 김치에서 pH, 산도, 유산균수에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

만성 정신분열병 환자에서 항정신병약물 감량에 관한 연구 (A Study for Dose-Reduction of Antipsychotics in Chronic Schizophrenics)

  • Conventional high-dose antipsychotics tend to result in more side effects, negative symptoms and dysphoria, and at the same time lower the cognitive function which is already impaired in most schizophrenics. Florid psychotic symptoms, negative symptoms and cognitive impairment greatly impede psychosocial performance and eventual reintegration into society. The reduction of symptom and the improvement of cognitive funtions and social skills are therefore central to the psychiatric rehabilitation process. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the dose-reduction effects of antipsychotics on chronic schizophrenics prescribed conventional high-dose antipsychotics more than 1,500mg equivalent of chlorpromazine. Fifty-one chronic schizophrenics who maintained high-dose antipsychotics for more than three months were randomly assigned to two groups : 20 patients comprised the dose-maintaining group and 31 patients made the dose-reduction group. Over a sixteen weekperiod Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS), Extrapyramidal Symptom(EPS), Nurses' Observation Scale for Inpatient Evaluation(NOSIE-30), Continuous Performance Test(CPT), Quality of Life(QOL), and haloperidol/reduced haloperidol blood levels were determined at the base line and after 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 weeks to evaluate the dose reduction effects of high-dose antipsychotics. The results were as follows : 1) Dose-reduction is highly effective in reducing positive and negative symptoms, and general psychopathology. Effects were most prominent at 8, 12, 16 weeks. Among the dose reduction group, positive symptoms in positive symptom group and negative symptoms in negative symptom group were more reduced. 2 Extrapyramidal symptoms showed no significant difference between two groups. But the EPS was reduced time after time within two groups. 3) Hit rates of Continuous Performance Test, which indicate attentional capacity, increased significantly after dose reduction. 4) Haloperidol and reduced haloperidol blood levels decreased until the 4th week, after which they were constant. 5) Total scores of Nurses' Observation Scale for Inpatient Evaluation were unchanged between the two groups. But among the indices, social interest and personal neatness were improved in the dose-reduction group and retardation was aggrevated in the dose-maintaining group. 6) Total quality of life scores were unchanged between two groups. But in the dose maintaining group, satisfaction scores of attention, autonomy, and interpersonal relationship decreased progressively. These findings suggest that the dose reduction of antipsychotics for chronic schizophrenics on programs of high-dose antipsychotics were effective. Dose reduction should therefore be implemanted to spread the rehabilitation and improve quality of life for chronic schizophrenics.

여자체조선수의 영양생리학적 요인 개선을 위한 교육프로그램의 효과분석 (Implementation and Evaluation of a Nutrition Education Program to Improve the Nutritional an Physiological Status of Female Gymnasts)

  • This study was conducted with 20 female gymnasts to examine the relationship between eating patterns, diet menstrual function and hematological status. According to the baseline data a nutrition counseling and education program was developed and evaluated improved the nutritional status and health of female gymnasts. Mean body weight at the onset of the study was 42.1$\pm$7.0kg and was reduced to 41.8$\pm$6.1kg after the nutrition counseling and education program. The percent of body fat was significantly reduced from 13.9$\pm$3.7% to 13.1$\pm$3.1%(p<0.01) skinfold thickness of subscapular and thighs was reduced significantly(p<0.01, p<0.05) Mean daily intake levels of energy, protein calcium iron thiamin riboflavin and niacin were significantly elevated after the nutrition counseling and education program but were lower than the Recommenced Dietary Allowances. For the nutrition knowledge and food habits, the posttest mean scores showed a significant increase. The hematological status(hematocrit, serum ferritin) and the early follicle level of estradiol were elevated to a mild degree although it was not significant,. The follicular stimulating hormone level was elevated significantly(p<0.01) Gymnastica has been one of the sports implicated by the medical profession as having probable detrimental effects. The implications of such training to childs growth and maturation have yet to be determined . Most female athletes, however, experience poor nutritional status and delayed puberty The priorities were to prepared a more effective nutrition program and education material status and delayed puberty. Diagnostic Efficacy and Safety of Low-Contrast-Dose Dual-Energy CT in Patients With Renal Impairment Undergoing Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement

  • Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy and safety of low-contrast-dose, dual-source dual-energy CT before transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in patients with compromised renal function. Materials and Methods: A total of 54 consecutive patients (female:male, 26:38; 81.9 ± 7.3 years) with reduced renal function underwent pre-TAVR dual-energy CT with a 30-mL contrast agent between June 2022 and March 2023. Monochromatic (40- and 50-keV) and conventional (120-kVp) images were reconstructed and analyzed. The subjective quality score, vascular attenuation, contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR), and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) were compared among the imaging techniques using the Friedman test and post-hoc analysis. Interobserver reliability for aortic annular measurement was assessed using the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Bland-Altman analysis. The procedural outcomes and incidence of post-contrast acute kidney injury (AKI) were assessed. Results: Monochromatic images achieved diagnostic quality in all patients. The 50-keV images achieved superior vascular attenuation and CNR (P < 0.001 in all) while maintaining a similar SNR compared to conventional CT. For aortic annular measurement, the 50-keV images showed higher interobserver reliability compared to conventional CT: ICC, 0.98 vs. 0.90 for area and 0.97 vs. 0.95 for perimeter; 95% limits of agreement width, 0.63 cm2 vs. 0.92 cm2 for area and 5.78 mm vs. 8.50 mm for perimeter. The size of the implanted device matched CT-measured values in all patients, achieving a procedural success rate of 92.6%. No patient experienced a serum creatinine increase of ≥ 1.5 times baseline in the 48-72 hours following CT. However, one patient had a procedural delay due to gradual renal function deterioration. Conclusion: Low-contrast-dose imaging with 50-keV reconstruction enables precise pre-TAVR evaluation with improved image quality and minimal risk of post-contrast AKI. This approach may be an effective and safe option for pre-TAVR evaluation in patients with compromised renal function.
