  • In this paper, we analyze the key schedule of the block cipher SEED-192. According to the result of this paper, there exist weak keys in 16 out of 20 rounds of SEED-192 against the related-key rectangle/boomerang attack. This is the first cryptanalytic result for the key schedule of SEED-192.

  • From the point of tectonic manner which is 'how to build a house' this study considers the characteristics of Kan in Hyangdan(香壇) at Yang-Dong Village. It was analysed with primary elements such as Kan, condition of a site, module, structural system, roofing system and their relationships in spatial and formal composition. Through the analysis, findings were achieved that characteristics of Kan to form a rectangle of 1 to root 2 proportion plan, enable irregularity in usage and regularity in compositional aspect and structural system to achieve intended roof design. In addition, Kan as a module is found to have a relative value that also regulates the whole in structural and aesthetical aspects.

A Study on the Optimization Method of Building Envelope using Non-linear Programming (비선형계획법을 이용한 건물의 외피최적화 방법)

  • The purpose of this study is to present rational methods of multi-criteria optimization of the envelope of buildings. The object is to determine the optimum R-value of the envelope of a building, based on the following criteria: minimum building costs (including the cost of materials and construction) and yearly heating costs. Mathematical model described heat losses and gains in a building during the heating season. It takes into consideration heat losses through wall, roof, floor and windows. Particular attention was paid to have a more detailed description of heat gains due to solar radiation. On the assumption that shape of building is rectangle in order to solve the problem, optimum R-value of the envelope of a building is determined by using non-linear programing methods(Kuhn-Tucker Conditions). The results constitute information for designers on the optimum R-value of a building envelope for energy saving buildings.

Particular attention was paid to have a more detailed description of heat gains due to solar radiation. On the assumption that shape of building is rectangle in order to solve the problem, the proportions of wall length and building height are determined by using non-linear programing methods(Kuhn-Tucker Conditions). The results constitute information for designers on the optimum proportions of wall lengths, height, and the ratios of window to wall areas for energy saving buildings.

  • Air arc interruption used in low rated voltage breaker, ACB and MCCB, have used the arc chamber composed of metal plates and insulating laminates which supposed these mechanically. and geometry and materials of arc chamber are very different by breaker manufacturer. These breakers have required to be smaller and to interrupt higher current by user. therefore the arc chamber geometry and material in breaker have been small, complex and various. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of insulating laminates and contact materials on air arc interruption. Contacts were surrounded by a rectangle chamber of insulating laminates. Contact concoctions were composed of AgW, AgCdO that have used in low rated voltage breaker, and insulating laminates were polyester, epoxy. We found strong dependance of arc voltage on insulating material. The ablated vapor on polyester increased arc voltage that was useful in air arc interruption.

  • In this paper, we used only PR as etching mask, while it used usually Cr/AU as etching mask, and in order to fabricate a photosensor has the increased sensitivity, we investigated on the sensitivity of general type and p-i-n type diode. we designed microchannel size width max 10um, min 5um depth max 10um, reservoir size max 100um, min 2mm. Fabrication of microfluidic devices in glass substrate by glass wet etching methods and glass to glass fusion bonding. The p-i-n diode has higher sensitivity than photodiode, Considering these results, we fabricated p-i-n diodes on the high resistive(4㏀$.$cm) wafer into rectangle and finger pattern and compared internal resistance of each pattern. The internal resistance of pin diode can be decreased by the application of finger pattern has parallel resistance structure from 571Ω to 393Ω.

  • In this paper, a technique is described for classifying normal cases and abnormal cases in automatic spinal deformity detection by computer based on moire topographic images of human backs. Displacement is evaluated statistically between the middle line extracted from the entire moire image and the middle line obtained from a small rectangle area defined on the moire image. The middle line is calculated employing a developed potential symmetry analysis technique. The displacement is calculated in several regions and the mean and the standard deviation of the displacement values are chosen as two features.   • In this paper, we find the approximate solution of a second order nonlinear partial differential equation on a simple connected region in $R^2$. We transfer this problem to a new problem of second order nonlinear partial differential equation on a rectangle. Then, we transformed the later one to an equivalent optimization problem. Then we consider the optimization problem as a distributed parameter system with artificial controls. Finally, by using the theory of measure, we obtain the approximate solution of the original problem. In this paper also the global error in $L_1$ is controlled.

  • 이동객체의 공간 데이터를 색인하기 위해 검색성능이 뛰어난 R-tree구조가 많이 활용된다. 최근 R-tree를 B+-tree처럼 인접한 단말노드 간의 연결을 통해 질의 처리를 수행하는 ISR-tree와 ISG-index가 제안되었다. 이 기법들은 MBR (Minimum Boundary Rectangle) 간의 인접한 이웃 노드를 결정하기 위해 보르노이 다이어그램(Voronoi Diagram)을 이용한다. MBR을 대상으로 하는 보르노이 다이어그램은 매우 복잡한 연산과정을 거친다. 본 논문에서는 점을 대상으로 하는 보르노이 다이어그램 연산을 활용한 인접한 이웃 MBR을 연산하는 기법을 제안한다. 각 MBR의 꼭지점들을 기준으로 보르노이 다이어그램을 만들 경우, 인접한 MBR의 꼭지점들의 보르노이 셀이 항상 인접한 것을 알아내었고, 이를 활용한다. 제안하는 기법의 우수성을 증명하기 위해 기존의 기법과 비교하여 성능평가를 수행하였다.

A Method for Projecting Multiple Stripe Patterns for High Precision 3D Measurement (고정밀 3차원 측정을 위한 다중 줄무늬 투영 방법에 관한 연구)

  • This paper proposes a novel method of projecting a multiple stripe pattern whose intensity profile is sinusoidal. The sinusoidal stripe patterns are plated with chromium on a piece of glass, and the glass is placed within an optical projection system. By linearly moving the glass along the direction of the stripe pattern, the projection system generates the motion blurring effect, and as a result, produces a blurred stripe pattern whose intensity profile is sinusoidal along the perpendicular direction of the stripe pattern. The sinusoidal pattern improves the measurement accuracy of phase-shifting method. Experimental results are provided for three different types of stripe patterns: rectangle, diamond, and sinusoid.
