The purpose of this study were to understand the resident's attitudes toward Ulleung Island and to identify the residents' perception of recreation and the influence of socioeconomic characteristics on their response. In summer of 1999, 222 questioners were obtained from a convenience sample of households within Ulleung Island. The residents perceived both positive and negative environ-recreation and economic impacts, most of the residents supported additional recreation development and disagreed to limit the number of visitors. Their perception of recreation impacts were varied with age, education level, economic dependency on recreation place of residence, and length of residence.

본 연구는 휴양림 개발에 따른 개발 인접 지역의 주민 태도를 알아보기 위해 수행하였다. 기존 관광 영향 연구 문헌을 참조하여 20개 주민 태도 항목을 선발하였다. 본 연구를 위해 2개의 휴양림지역이 선정되었다. 1995년 휴양림 지역 인근에 거주하고 있는 204명의 지역 주민을 대상으로 직접방문조사가 실시되었다. 응답은 5 point 척도를 이용하였다. 주민 태도 분석결과 대부분의 응답자들은 현 휴양림 개발에 대해 경제적 혜택이 적고 지역 환경에 피해를 주고 있다는 부정적 시각을 갖고 있었다. 지각 태도는 응답자들의 사회 경제적 특성에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 특히 휴양림 방문객으로부터의 수입 여부와 거주기간 정도에 따른 유의적 차이가 현저하였다. 본 연구결과 휴양림 개발지역은 정부가 의도하고 있는 긍정적 측면이 지각되지 못하고 있음을 보여주고 있었다. 현재 및 계획된 휴양림 개발 효과에 대한 지역 영향 연구가 수행될 필요가 있었다.

본 연구는 휴양림 개발에 따른 지역 주민의 영향 지각이 그들의 자연환경태도 수준에 따라 차이가 있는지를 파악하고 이를 통해 휴양림 개발 이용 관리에 따른 지역주민간 이해 충돌 소지의 파악 방법으로 자연환경태도 정보 자료가 활용될 수 있는지를 살펴보기 위하여 수행되었다. 기존 연구 문헌을 참조하여 30개 지역 주민의 개발 영향 지각 및 의견 항목을 선정하였다. 자연환경태도 측정 조사는 NEP 척도 항목을 이용하였다. 1995년 10월, 2개 휴양림 인근 지역에 거주하고 있는 지역주민에 대한 직접 방문 조사를 통하여 총 204매의 설문 자료가 수집되었다. 일반적으로 대부분의 지역주민은 휴양림 개발에 대해 낮은 경제적 효과와 부정적 환경 영향을 지각하고 있었다. 자연환경태도 수준은 지역 주민의 사회경제적 변수에 따라 유의적 차이를 보였으며 특히 연령과 학력수준 변수에서 높은 유의적 차이가 인정되었다. 지역주민의 자연환경태도 수준은 휴양림 개발 지각에 영향을 주고 있었다. 본 연구 결과 자연환경태도는 휴양림 관리의 이해 충돌 해결에 유용한 도구로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

Ever-growing recreation, tourism and ecotourism worldwide have become a significant factor of resource degradation in many protected areas. Managers of these areas are increasingly challenged to implement policies, strategies and actions that would protect the resource base while providing quality visitor experience. One major issue in managing protected area visitations is that of carrying capacity, or the question of "how much use is too much\ulcorner". Scientific studies of visitor impacts, often known as recreation ecology, has generated a knowledge base that provides valuable input to the visitor carrying capacity management process adopted by the U.S. National Park Service. This paper aims at (a) providing an overview of recreation ecology research and its application in managing visitor carrying capacity, and (b) examining the relevance of recreation ecology to East Asian protected areas with special reference to the visitor capacity issue.ity issue.

산림휴양은 야외에서 하기 때문에 날씨의 영향을 많이 받게 된다. 기온이 산림휴양에 미치는 영향은 연구되었으나 강수요인의 영향은 아직 연구되지 않았다. 이 논문은 산림휴양이 가장 많이 이루어지는 장소인 산악 국립공원의 탐방객수에 강수량과 강우일수가 영향을 미치는지를 파악하였다. 강수량과 강우일수를 설명변수로 설정한 산림휴양 수요함수의 추정 결과에 의하면 국립공원 탐방객수에 강우일수는 영향을 미치고 있다. 즉 일정 기간 중에 비나 눈이 온 날씨가 많았는지를 나타내는 강우일수는 탐방객수를 감소시키며 그 정도는 비탄력적이다. 한편 일정 기간 중에 비나 눈이 온 양을 나타내는 강수량은 통계적으로 유의하지 않고 계수부호가 예상과 다르게 나왔다. 이와 같은 결과에 근거하여 국립공원 관리를 포함하는 산림휴양 관리를 효율적으로 하기 위하여 사회경제적 변수뿐만 아니라 기상변수에 대한 체계적인 모니터링이 필요하다.

본 연구는 아웃도어 레크리에이션 활동에 집중되어 있던 레크리에이션 전문화 이론을 e스포츠에 적용한 점과 e스포츠 흥행을 주도하고 있는 주요 종목인 리그오브레전드를 중심으로 현재의 e스포츠 소비자의 여가 특성에 대한 차이를 통계적으로 유의하게 검증했다는 점에서 의의를 가진다. 향후 연구에서는 다양한 종목에 적용함으로써 연구를 확대하여 일반화시키려는 노력이 필요하며 e스포츠 여가에 대한 양적 연구와 질적 연구 방법의 도입이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

The overuse in the outdoor recreation lands has been deteriorating the natural resources and landscapes. So this study was executed to measure the users'impacts on vegetation and soil at Hwaum Temple District Campsite in the Mt. Jiri National Park, the southern part of Korea. Five sites were sampled in the study area according to the extent of impact observed. Then the users'densities and impacts on vegetation and soil were measured at each site. According to the result of this study, the numbers of species and individuals and the coverage of lower-layer vegetation showed outstanding changes by only light use. The numbers of species and individuals of middle-layer vegetation, species diversity indices, change rate in species composition of lower and middle-layer vegetation, damage rate of forces, contents of clay, soil moisture and organic matters, exchangeable base ions, soil hardness, organic matter depth and bare area of the campsite showed conspicuous changes from the site 4(19.6men / 1,000㎡). Especially, the self-repair of vegetation was impossible as the result of analysis of soil hardness and the formation of natural vegetation was expected to be difficult as the result of vegetation sturcture analysis over the users'average density of 19.6men /1,000㎡. The campsite management of this area shall be proposed as follows to prevent serious deterioration of natrual environment. A limitation of the present use and a conservation on soil and vegetation should be required at the site 4 and 5. Specially, prevention of camping recreation and artificial rehabilitation are necessary at the site 5(24. 3 men/1000㎡)

본 연구의 목적은 국립자연휴양림이 지역경제에 미치는 경제적 파급효과를 지역산업연관분석에 적용하여 자연휴양림의 조성 정책의 타당성을 확인할 수 있는 전략적 수단을 발굴하고자 시도되었다. 지역산업연관분석은 한국은행(2009)에서 발표된 지역산업연관표를 활용하여 자연휴양림의 생산, 소득, 부가가치, 고용파급의 승수효과 분석을 통하여 지역내(內)와 지역외(外) 경제적 유발효과를 분석하였다. 그 결과 하나의 국립자연휴양림이 지역에 미치는 경제적 파급효과는 지역내(內)에서 연간 생산파급은 3,380백만원, 소득파급 328백만원, 부가가치파급은 1,017백만원, 고용파급은 22명인 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 지역외(外)에 미치는 연간 생산파급은 687백만원, 소득파급은 85백만원, 부가가치파급은 245백만원, 고용파급은 6명인 것으로 나타났다.

Purpose: The present research guides to a middle ground where recreational sports and enjoyment justify the basic concept of leisure consumption, exploring an exciting field of study, where participation is the motivational source of recreational sports fans for transferring into the motivation of leisure activities and leisure consumption. Research design, data and methodology: This research took a close look at the current literature to investigate impacts of recreational sports enthusiasts' willingness to engage in the leisure consumption. The screening and excluding procedure took a place to select a qualified prior resources and the present author finally obtained a total of 19 highly relevant papers. Results: The evaluation of the presented research shows that the enthusiasts' participation in avocational sports has four significant implications on their lifestyle and leisure consumption. These impacts are categorized as follows: Economic influence, Psychological influence, Social influence, and Environmental influence. Conclusions: In sum, this study has shown the various ways and magnitude in which willingness to participate in leisure affects its consumption by the recreational sports enthusiast. These impacts have brought critical implications for the viability of the sport leisure business in the industry, particularly in urging it to be the right strategic direction to cater to this market segment.

이용객의 이용압력에 의한 토양 및 식생에 대한 영향을 알아보고자 부산시의 어린이대공원과 금강공원의 이용 통제구역과 이용지역내에 20개의 조사구를 설치하고 본 조사를 실시하였다. 토양경도는 이용지역에서 평균90kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ 이상을 보여 식물생장에 지장을 주었고 이용객통제에 따른 토양경도의 완화효과가 있었으나 다른 토양특성들은 그 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 식물군집분석결과 이용압력에 의해 특히 관목층식생의 피해가 매우 컸으며 종다양성을 떨어뜨리게 하는 결과를 보였다. 그러나 단기간(2년)의 이용객통제는 식생의 자연복원과 종다양성 증진에 좋은 작용을 하고 있었다.
