The patients who have illness of hand and upper limb should be received rehabilitation treatment to recover such illness. The rehabilitation treatments is a treatments designed to facilitate the process of recovery from injury, illness, or disease to as normal a condition as possible. This should be done continuously and repeatedly. In this paper, we describe hand-rehabilitation system which provides a treatment method improving and recovering the function of injured hands. Expecially, this system is using a leap motion device which can easily and properly identify and trace a hand motion and provide six treatment patterns for hand rehabilitation. By using this system, the patients can do rehabilitation treatment easily and continuously in their daily life and in result, the achievement of treatment will be improved.
Gas hydrates are known to form by physical interactions between host water and guest gas molecules and thus can be treated as a special type of icy materials. The gas hydrates are recently highlighted because of their use to future energy source even though they were discovered naturally in the deep-sea marine sediments a long time ago. However, the present and future urgent task is to develop the efficient and safe production technology for recovering methane from gas hydrates. Here, we propose one of potential recovery processes using swapping phenomenon occurring between gaseous carbon dioxide and methane hydrate deposits. Such a swapping process provide several technological and economical advantages over conventional processes. The carbon dioxide can be directly sequestered into methane hydrate layer and simultaneously methane can be produced with a high recovery rate more than 90%. In addition, the icy powders can be effectively used as a new medium for storing hydrogen. To increase hydrogen storage capacity the icy hydrate networks need to be redesigned to create the more empty cages in which hydrogen gas can be enclathrated. Functionalized icy materials might be used in a variety of energy and environmental fields.

Russian deer velvet antlers were divided into three parts and subjected to a extraction process using hot water at 100, 110, and $120^{\circ}C$ or an extraction with 70% ethanol. Each extract was analyzed for its biochemical components, including uronic acid, sulfated-glycosaminoglycans (sulfated-GAGs), and sialic acid, and the antioxidant and anti-acetylcholinesterase activities were investigated. Different levels of uronic acid and sulfated-GAGs were observed in the extracts according to the water temperature used for the extraction, and contents decreased with increasing extraction temperature. The upper layer of each extract showed high amounts of uronic acid and sulfated-GAGs, followed by the middle and base layers. Ethanol extraction was more effective for recovering uronic acid than sulfated-GAGs. Sialic acid content was the highest in the $110^{\circ}C$ extracts but was not observed in the ethanol extracts. Velvet antler extracts showed strong antioxidant activities against DPPH and hydrogen peroxide as well as strong reducing power in a dose-dependent manner. However, the antioxidant activities were different in each layer and according to the extraction method. Additionally, velvet antler extracts exhibited inhibitory activity against acetylcholinesterase, which is associated with Alzheimer's disease, in a dose-dependent manner. These results suggest that velvet antler extracts are useful as a functional food ingredient and/or a pharmaceutical.
The purpose of this paper is to suggest the types of recovery activities and the major contents of preimpact recovery plan through theoretical review. Disaster recovery is to provide immediate support during the early recovery period necessary to return vital life support systems to minimum operation levels, and continuing to provide support until the community returns to normal. Disaster researchers distinguished 4 types in recovering from disaster as follows; an emergency period, a restoration period, a reconstruction period, and a developmental reconstruction period. And recovery measures are both short-term and long-term. Short-term measures are relief and rehabilitation and long-term measures include reconstruction. Finally, to design a preimpact recovery plan, we should define a disaster recovery organization that includes major stakeholders, identify the location of temporary housing, determine how to perform essential tasks, address the licensing and monitoring of contractors and retail price controls to ensure victims are not exploited, determine how recovery tasks will be carried out at historical sites, and recognize the recovery period as a unique time to enact policies for hazard mitigation and incorporate this objecive into the recovery planning process.

In this paper, we have designed and implemented that PC management system has the function of monitoring and controlling system management MIB defined for PC management using SNMP in PC room. System management MIB consists of monitoring MIB for system and processor information and controlling MIB for backup and restoration. For this, we have added new defined MIB variables to standard MIB and displayed system information, processor information, backup and restoration information of managed PC. And the structure between management system and managed system is shown and process of system information, processor information, backup and restoration of managed PC is illustrated. On real environmental, by monitoring window version, CPU type, system memory and virtual memory and performing backup and restoration of managed PC, actual operation is tested. Management system gathers system information and processor information from managed system and performs backup and restoration for recovering fault of managed system. Hence PC managers can operate and manage many PCs on LAN, efficiently.

The identification of haplotypes, which encode SNPs in a single chromosome, makes it possible to perform a haplotype-based association test with diseases. Given a set of genotypes from a population, the process of recovering the haplotypes that explain the genotypes is called haplotype inference. We propose a new preprocessing algorithm for the haplotype inference by pure parsimony (HIPP). The proposed algorithm excludes a large amount of redundant candidate haplotypes by detecting some groups of haplotypes that are dispensable for optimal solutions. For the well-known synthetic and biological data, the experimental results of our method show that our method run much faster than other preprocessing methods. After applying our preprocessing results, the numbers of haplotypes of HIPP solvers are equal to or slightly larger than that of optimal solutions.
Under the on-going evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, estimating the economic impact of the pandemic is highly uncertain and challenging. This situation makes it difficult for policymakers, governors, and economic entities to formulate appropriate responses and decision makings. To provide useful information about the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Korean economy, this study examined macroeconomic impact analysis stemming from the pandemic shocks with different scenarios for the Korean economy. Based on three scenarios using the growth rate of 2020 GDP and consumer expenditure patterns, the 2021 GDP by industry sector was forecast with two new approaches. First, the recovering process of the Korean economy from the shock was analyzed by applying a Flex-IO method. Second, a new forecasting approach combined with an IO coefficient matrix was applied to forecast the future GDP changes. The findings of this study are summarized as follows: First, the total GDP growth rate under the Pessimistic Scenario demonstrates less rebound from the shock than that of the Base Scenario. Second, agriculture, culture, and tourism-related sectors that are suffering from the severe losses of COVID-19 showed lower resilience than other different industries. Third, information and communications technology (ICT) industry maintains a stable growth trend and is expected to take the leading role for the Korean economy in the post-COVID-19 and the Industry 4.0 eras. The findings deliver that it needs to analyze how government expenditure responding the shock into the forecasting model, which can be more useful and reliable to simulate the resilience from the pandemic.
Waste printed circuit boards (WPCBs) contain valuable metals such as Cu, Ni, Au, Ag, and Pd. For an effective recycling of WPCBs, it is essential to recover the valuable metals. In recent years, recycling processes have come to be necessary for separating noble metals from WPCBs due to an increasing amount of electronic device wastes. However, it is well known that glass reinforced epoxy resins in the WPCBs are difficult materials to separate into elemental components, namely metals, glass fibers and epoxy resins in the chemical recycling process. $K_3PO_4$ as a catalyst in dimethylformamide (DMF) and N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) was used to depolymerize epoxy resins for recovering metallic and non-metallic components from WPCBs. Reactions of WPCBs were carried out at temperatures $160{\sim}200^{\circ}C$ for 2~12 h. The recycled glass fiber from WPCBs was analyzed by thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) and evaluated the degree of solubility of the epoxy resin for separation efficiencies of the WPCBs.
This purpose of this study was to determine the best enrichment medium for rejuvenating and recovering Salmonella placed in cold temperature prior to the employment of the gold biosensor combined with a light microscopic imaging system. A mixture of nalidixic-resistant Salmonella Typhimurium and Enteritidis were inoculated onto chicken (1,000 CFU/chicken). After cold injury at $4^{\circ}C$ for 24 hr, Salmonella on chicken was enriched for 6 hr with six non-selective media including buffered peptone water broth, lactose broth, brain heart infusion broth (BHI), universal pre-enrichment broth, nutrient broth, and tryptic soy broth, and five selective media including brilliant green broth (BG), rappaport-vassiliadis R10 broth, selenite cystine broth, selenite broth, and tetrathionate brilliant green broth (TBG) for the comparison of Salmonella growth. Various concentrations of Salmonella (10, 50, 100, 500, and 1,000 CFU/chicken) were then enriched for 6 hr in both BHI and BG media to select the best media. BHI was selected as the most effective non-selective enrichment medium, while BG was selected as the most effective selective enrichment medium. Finally, BHI medium was selected as the most efficient enrichment medium for Salmonella growth injured from cold temperature during processing or storage.
Although the study of IT services has increased in recent years, few study have focused on trust based recovery process. Additionally, users of IT services have different use purpose depending on service type. Therefore, the purposes of this research is to propose trust recovery model of smartphone applications and to examine the moderating effect of service type on the use of smartphone applications. To achieve research purposes, we suggested service failure type using the scenario technique and empirically verified by conducting survey. The results showed that the procedural justice and interpersonal justice have influence on trust and trust had an effect on the all quality factors (system, information, service quality). Also, information quality and service quality had an effect on the customer loyalty. Finally, service type had significant moderating effects on the relationship between perceived justice and quality.
