Study on Spray Characteristics of GCSC Injector with Recess in High Pressure Condition (고압조건에서 기체-액체 분사기의 리세스에 따른 분무 특성 연구)

  • The spray characteristics according to the recess length of the GCSC injector and the change of momentum flux ratio(MFR) of the gas and the liquid have been examined through high pressure cold flow test using a high pressure chamber. The liquid in this experiment was water, and the gas was nitrogen. The spray images were taken by a back-lit strobe imaging technique. Results showed that the spray was a wide hollow cone at the lower MFR(liquid velocity was fixed) and the spray became a narrow solid cone as the MFR was increased. And the injector with short recess length produced a narrow solid cone at the higher MFR.

  • Experimental study on combustion characteristics of double swirl coaxial injectors has been conducted for the assessment of critical injector design parameters. A reusable, subscale thrust chamber has been fabricated with a water-cooled copper nozzle. Two different configurations of injectors have been tested for the understanding of the effects of recess length on high pressure combustion. Clearly, the recess length drastically affects the combustion efficiency and hydraulic characteristics of an injector. Internal mixing of propellants in an injector with recess number of two increases a combustion efficiency and reveals sound combustion although a pressure drop required for the same amount of mass flow rates increases compared with an injector of recess number of one.

  • LOx post damage occurs from the development process of the full-scale gas generator which is necessary to 30 tonf class engine development was described. The cause and analysis for damage was described. The combustion test result of 4 injector, the full-scale gas generator and redesigned injector was described. Combustion instability, purge, the low momentum of LOx spray, small recess number, the low flow of LOx, and the high spray angle is main reason the possibility of knowing. The redesign for the injector in the direction of increase of recess number, increase of LOx and fuel spray angle, decrease of gap interval between the LOx post outer wall and fuel screen and increase of LOx post wall thick became accomplished.

  • 모바일향 90nm DRAM을 개발하기 위하여 비대칭 채널 구조를 갖는 Recess Channel Array Transistor (RCAT)로 cell transistor를 구현하였다. DRAM cell transistor에서 junction leakage current 증가는 DRAM retention time 열화에 심각한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 알려져 있으며, DRAM의 minimum feature size가 점점 감소함에 따라 short channel effect의 영향으로 junction leakage current는 더욱 더 증가하게 된다. 본 실험에서는 short channel effect의 영향에 의한 junction leakage current를 감소시키기 위하여 Recess Channel Array Transistor를 도입하였고, cell transistor의 채널 영역을 비대칭으로 형성하여 data retention time을 증가시켰다. 비대칭 채널 구조을 이용하여 Recess Channel Array Transistor를 구현한 결과, sub-threshold 특성과 문턱전압, Body effect, 그리고, GIDL 특성에는 큰 유의차가 보이지 않았고, I-V특성인 드레인 포화전류(IDS)는 대칭 채널 구조인 transistor 대비 24.8% 정도 증가하였다. 그리고, data retention time은 2배 정도 증가하였다. 본 실험에서 얻은 결과는 향후 저전압 DRAM 개발과 응용에 상당한 기여를 할 것으로 기대된다.

Effects of the Recess and Propellants Mass Flow on the Flammability Limit and Structure of Methane-Oxygen Diffusion Flame (인젝터 리세스와 추진제 공급유량이 메탄-산소 확산화염의 가연한계와 구조에 미치는 영향)

  • In order to analyze the flammability limit and structure of the gaseous methane-gaseous oxygen diffusion flame formed through a shear coaxial injector, combustion experiments were carried out according to the condition of injector recess and propellant mass-flow rate. As a result, it was confirmed that stable anchored flame was observed even at the high oxygen Reynolds number as the propellant momentum flux ratio increased, and that the recess had no significant influence on the flame shape and flammability limit. The anchored flame visualized through a chemiluminescence showed the maximum OH radical emission intensity at a specific position, irrespective of the propellant injection condition, and the radical intensity was greatly reduced by the injector recess.

  • A multi-step quasi-global mechanism is developed for the kerosene/oxygen combustion analysis including dissociation products. Reaction constants of the global reaction are determined to have agreement with experimental data. The mechanism is used for the numerical analysis of the combustion flow field of the kerosene/oxygen shear coaxial injector. The results from high-resolution numerical analysis confirmed qualitatively that the recess enhance the fuel/air mixing and combustion efficiency by the increased flow instabilities.

  • This paper presents the reliability of planar InP/InGaAs avalanche photodiodes (APD's) with recess etching, which is very crucial for the commercial 10-Gb/s optical receiver application. A versatile design for the planar InP/InGaAs APD's and bias-temperature tests to evaluate long-term reliability at temperature from 200 to $250^{\circ}C$. The reliability is examined by accelerated life tests by monitoring dark current and breakdown voltage. The lifetime of the APD's is estimated by a degradation activation energy. Based on the test results, it is concluded that the planar InP/InGaAs APD's with recess etching shows the sufficient reliability for practical 10-Gb/s optical receivers.

  • This paper presents experimental results of Recess Characteristic of Swirl Coaxial Injector of fuel-rich gas generators. It was revealed that the internal impinging phenomenon played an important role in the spray characteristics, such as spray angle and breakup length.

  • Synovial chondromatosis is the chondroid metaplasia of the synovial membrane, Large joints such as the knee and hip are commonly involved. Synovial chondromatosis very rarely develops within the shoulder joints. We have experienced the synovial chondromatosis developed in the right subscapular recess communicating the shoulder joint of a 30 year-old-female who was diagnosed by plain radiograph, MRI and microscopic findings, and then treated by arthroscopic synovectomy and removal of loose bodies.

  • One set of MMIC library has been developed using gate recess etching by spin processor. It is superior than that of dipping Method in the uniformity and the reproducibility of gate recess. A DC characteristics of p-HEMT have a uniform characteristics in the whole wafer than that of dipping method. The low noise p-HEMT with the $0.6{\mu}m$ and $200{\mu}m$ of gate length and gate width, respectivily, has a uniform characteristics of Idss 130~145 mA, conductances 190~220mS/nm, and threshold voltage -0.7~-1.1V in the drain voltage of 2V.
