3D scanner를 이용한 여성복 재킷의 패턴 사이즈에 따른 착의평가 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Ready-Made Jacket for Women according to Pattern Size Using 3D Scanner)

  • 본 연구에서는 기성복의 맞음새와 치수체계에 따른 문제점을 제시하기 위하여 현재 시판되고 있는 여성복 재킷을 중심으로 사이즈별 각 패턴의 치수 및 공극량 분석을 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 재킷에 대한 관능검사(self sensory test)결과, 패턴 B의 점수가 가장 낮았으며, 동일한 사이즈의 의복임에도 불구하고 재킷의 착용감은 유의적인 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 패턴 계측 결과 각 브랜드간의 패턴 그레이딩 량은 차이를 나타내어 동일한 사이즈임에도 불구하고 여유량이 서로 다르게 나타났으며, 수직방향보다는 수평방향의 증가량이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 3. 3D scanner를 이용하여 인체 및 착의인체를 스캔한 결과, 3차원 입체 형상으로 의복의 착의상태를 볼수 있으므로 2차원 정보를 얻을수 있는 사진촬영 결과에 비하여 활용성이 높으며 촬영거리에 따른 피사체의 왜곡이 없으므로 정확도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 4. 패턴별 평균공극길이에 대한 유의성 검증 결과, B88사이즈의 허리부위를 제외한 모든 부위에서 유의성이 인정되지 않았으며 사이즈별 평균공극길이에 대한 유의성 검증결과에서는 품, 배, 엉덩이부위에서 유의성이 인정되어 사이즈가 커질수록 이들 부분의 여유량 설정에 신중을 기하여야한다.

한국 여성복 브랜드의 치수 체계 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on Actual Condition of Sizing System of Women′s RTW Apparel Brands in Korea)

  • The manufacturer first identifies a target market before developing a sizing chart. A target market is specific for age or figure type. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the suitability of sizing system of women's apparel brand in Korea. For this purpose, the characteristics of the manufacture's sizing chart for jacket and skirt/pants were analyzed. For each brand, the target age of the brand and the age of consumers who preferred that bland were compared. The size charts collected from 27 women's apparel brands were analyzed and compared with Korean industrial standard sifting chart. The results of this study reviled that the body proportion in many manufacturer's sizing chart does not correspond to the body types in Korean industrial standard sizing chart. This trend was apparent for the short figure sizes made for women 155cm in height. There is a difference between the target age in brand concept and the age of consumer preferring to purchase that brand apparel. The age of fitting models usually does not correspond the customer's age. It was concluded that the age of target customer does not go well with the age of brand concept nor the fitting model age caused fit problem of the women's ready-made clothes.

휠체어를 사용하는 성인 남성 장애인의 의복실태 조사 (A Research Study on the Actual Conditions of Clothing of Disabled Men using Wheelchair)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual conditions of clothing of disabled adult men using wheelchair, to understand dissatisfactions and problems in wearing garment, and to construct basic data to development of the formal wear for wheelchair user. This study conducted survey of 162 men using wheelchair who regularly enjoy the sports for disabled people or who work in society. The results of this study are follows. The majority of wheelchair user tend to wear garment lying or seating. Therefore, they prefer garments that can be easily put on and off. They were dissatisfied mostly with the size of ready-made garment. More than 75% of the subjects tend to repair the purchased formal wear. Shoulder width and bust circumference are too small, jacket length, sleeve length, and slacks length are too big for disabled men using wheelchair. More than 93% subjects tend to prefer T-shirts, because of comfort and easiness to move. The men using wheelchair consider the function and the hygiene of fabric material for T-shirts as the important end.

의복 생산시 마킹(Marking) 공정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Marking Process in Apparel Production)

  • The purpose of this study is to help efficient use of marking system and more competitive products manufacture through the actual investigation into manufacturing process of apparel products. For lack of the previous study on marking, fundamental survey was performed on systematic research for pattern marking in ready-made production line Data were collected from 36 companies using Apparel CAD/CAM through questionnaire and interview. The data were analyzed by using Frequency and Crosstabs utilizing SPSS. The results were as follows : 1. Marking situation in clothing companies were examined ; 24 companies(66.7%) use computer marking, and 12 companies(33.3%) have both computer marking and hand marking. Besides only 9 companies out of 36(25.0%) have CAM in cutting process. 2. The efficiency in marking methods was also studied and the expense-saved ways were presented. we have found there is no difference in a way of the textural efficiency but the working methods of hand marking and computer marking. 3. Merits and demerits in marking methods were investigated. In case of marking two men's wear (Jacket and Pants), it takes 38 minutes by hand whereas it takes 15 minutes by computer ; for two women's wear (Jacket and Skirt) 49 minutes by hand, and 16 minutes by computer. 4. Most of the markers have less than 5 years experiences and among them most women are less experienced. They are in the mid-twenties after college graduations.

노년 남성의 의복착용 실태조사 -체형 변화와 기성복 만족도를 중심으로- (Clothing Condition of Elderly Men Focusing on Somatotype Variation and Satisfaction with Ready-to-Wear)

  • The purpose of this study was to understand clothing condition of elderly men focusing on somatotype variation and satisfaction with ready-to-wear and to provide basic data in designing ready-to-wrar for the elderly men. The questionnaire method was used and one-to-one interviews were held for the elderly residents in Seoul, Deajon, Jonju, and Yeosu areas. The total of 275 questionnaires (from 148 elderly men in the 60's, 99 in the 70's and 28 in the 80's) were collected and used for statistics. SAS package was used for the statistics and the statistics were based on frequency, X2-test, ANOVA, Duncan's multifle range test. The results of the study were as follows; 1) Height (p< .05), weight (p< .001) and Rohrer index (p< .05) decreased significantly with ageing 2) The somatotypes of 75.6% were changed and the 70's 8t the 80's showed significantly (p< .05) higher changing rate compared to the 60's and more changes took place significantly (p< .001) with ageing. 3) The most preferred out wear was suit & tie and next was jumper or shirt. 4) For the mode of getting suit, the highest number 55.3%) purchased ready-to-wear, next (32.0%) was tailored and the least (12.7%) neither purchased nor tailored. The percentage of buying ready-to-wear significantly (p< .01) decreased with ageing. The main reason for getting tailor-made was not well fitting of ready-to-wear (20.7% out of 32.0%). And for the mode of getting suit, there was significant differance with income (p< .001) and pocket money (p< .01). 5) The most important factors in suit and shirt werefirst, size (fitness) and second, comfort in movement. 6) For the wearing feeling of suit, 55.3% showed discomfort. There was significant difference according to the age (p< .05) and pocket money (p< .05). The Discomfort increased with ageing and less pocket money. 7) 62.4% answered it uneasy to Pick out well fitting If comfortable suit. This showed their dissatisfaction with ready-to-wear. 8) As for the items of not well fitting, 64.4% answered in jacket, 60.8% in trousers, 46.0% in shirt. The above result shows that elderly men's somatotype changes as they age, suit is found uncomfortable and it's not easy for elders to pick out comfortable ready-to-wear. So, they seem to have a certain dissatisfaction in ready to wear. Therefore, there is a need for reorganization of size and developing pattern design according to measurement of elderly men.

20대 남자 한복 기성복화를 위한 바지.저고리 패턴개발 (The Pattern Standardization for the Ready Made Korean Traditional Costumes for Men in Twenties)

  • For the establishment of ready made Hanbok for the people in their 20's this study aims to develope Bagi-chogori pattern that revives the esthetic quality of the traditional Hanbok as well as comfortably fit the body. Direct method was used in Measuring the 33 parts of men which was selected as items needed for the analysis of the body and the development of patterns. In accordance with the body measurement and the analysis of the result the bust girth and height which has interrelation was chosen as the standard size for the development of pattern. Men's Baji-chogori(Korean traditional Jacket and Pants) which doesn't request fitness for instance we drew out a cross table by giving 5cm intervals each for breast waist hip girth and height. Size system of Baji-chogori was 4 steps. 1st was bust 95cm height 165cm 2nd was bust girth 95cm height 170cm 3rd was bust girth 100cm height 175cm and the 4th was bust girth 105cm height 180cm. In the case of Men the grouping of bodies was attempted by concentrating on the difference of the drop amount(Bust girth to hip girth), However 90% of men in their 20's showed a silhouette of an inverted triangle. Therefore attempt for an additional grouping wasn's Only calculation concerning the ease amount of items such as bust which and length was considered to enhance the silhouette of Hanbok when worn. Men's body for instance have a tendency to change to a rectangular shape as they get older. specially the abdominal girth trend to increase greatly. So study and development of pattern should be made for all age groups.

노년기 여성의 의복 디자인 선호도 및 의복 만족도에 대한 연구 (A Study of Clothing Design Preference & Clothing Satisfaction for Older Women)

  • A clothing design preference & clothing satisfactions(a general satisfaction, fitness) was studied for women 55 years and older. The major results are as followings. In view of a clothing design preference, 1) Styles of outdoor clothes for spring-fall : ① Two-pieces ② Blouse(Sweater) & Slacks ③Blouse(Sweater) & Skirts. 2) Colors of clothes for seasons: (Spring - Pink, Light yellow, beige), (Summer - Light blue, Blue, Light green), (Fall - Brown, Red purple, Beige), (Winter - Black, Brown, Gray). 3) Fabric prints ; ① Unicolor without print ② Geometric print ③ Traditional print. 4) Kinds of textiles : ① Easy Laundriability ② A style of dressing ③ Uncrumple. In view of clothing satisfactions for ready made clothes, they have unsatisfactory trends as following orders. 1) Considering a general satisfaction : ① Clothing which go with oneself ② Fitness ③ Matching with other clothes. 2) Considering fitness for clothes : ① Sleve length ② Shoulder width ③ Length in Blouse (Sweater) & Jacket, ① Length ② Waist ③ Girth of hip (under abdomen) in slacks (skirts).

3D Scanner를 이용한 여성용 기성복 재킷의 착의적합성에 관한 비교평가연구 (A Study on the Comparative Evaluation of wearing Fitness of Women′s Ready-made Jackets Using 3D Scanner)

  • 본 연구 목적은 3차원 인체 스캐너를 이용하여 여자 기성복 재킷의 여유량을 비교, 분석하는 것으로, 2사이즈 7브랜드의 재킷의 공극량을 계측하여 분석하였다. 첫째, 재킷 단면둘레 분석 결과, B85(품), B8(허리)를 제외하고 브랜드간에 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않아, 전반적으로, 브랜드간 제품치수에는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인체와 재킷의 단면둘레 분석 결과, 재킷의 배둘레를 제외한 모든 항목에서 유의한 차이가 나타나 피험자, 재킷 모두 사이즈에 따라 유의적인 차이 가 있음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 기본사이즈 B85에서는 허리를 제외하고는 패턴 F가 가장 여유량이 많은 것으로 나타났으나, B88의 경우, 부위별로 각기 다른 패턴에서 여유량이 가장 많은 것으로 나타나, 각 부분마다 브랜드별로 그레이딩 룰이 다름을 알 수 있다. 넷째, 착의 단면은 인체와 의복간의 여유량 분포를 명백히 보여주며, 어깨, 가슴, 엉덩이처럼 몸에 밀착되는 부위는 다른 부위에 비해 패턴간, 각도별 변이가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 품, 허리, 배에서는 옆보다는 앞, 뒤로, 가슴에서는 앞뒤 좌우의 30$^{\circ}$방향, 엉덩이의 경우, 옆, 뒤보다는 앞쪽에 여유량이 집중되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 브랜드별 평균공극길이에 대한 분산분석 결과, 전반적으로 패턴 F가 가장 공극량이 많고, 패턴 D가 작은 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 사이즈별 평균공극길이에 대한 t-검정 결과, 품과 배 부분에서, B88이 B85보다 공극량이 적은 것으로 나타나, 기준부위인 가슴, 허리, 엉덩이 부분뿐만 아니라 품, 배둘레의 치수에 대응할 수 있도록 그레이딩 룰 값을 산정하여야 함을 알 수 있다.

한국과 미국 노년 초기 여성의 의복행동과 착용감 비교 (A Comparison of the Clothing Behavior and Wearing Sensation of Early Elderly Women between Korea and USA)

  • The purpose of this study was to better assess and understand current needs and wearing sensation, including clothing behavior for early elderly women in the Korea and USA. The subjects in this study were 135 and 173 early elderly women in the Korea and USA. This research was done by a survey method and chi-square test. The major objectives of this study were as follows; First, it was found that the early elderly women of Korea utilize mostly human information as information source when purchasing clothing, whereas those of USA mostly media information. The women of Korea were found to put most emphasis in esthetic aspects of clothing, whereas those of USA in comfort. The most frequently worn clothes by the early elderly women of Korea were jumper, T-shirt and slacks, whereas jacket, sweater and slacks by those of USA. As for skirt, flare skirt was highly preferred in Korea, whereas A-line skirt in USA. Second, regarding the wearing sensation of ready-made clothing, the wearing sensation of jacket was found to be worst on the shoulder in Korea, whereas on the waist in USA. And the early elderly women of both Korea and USA had poor wearing sensations due to the length of sleeve, of trouser, of skirt and of one-piece dress. The comparison of the clothing behavior and wearing sensation of the early elderly women between Korea and USA showed a greater difference in clothing behavior than in wearing sensation.

20대 여성을 위한 재킷패턴 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Development of Jacket Patterns for Women in Their 20's)

  • This study investigated body type among women in their 20s and the development of prototypes for tailored jackets by body type in order to design clothes in consideration of an imbalance in body type caused by the popularity of portable devices such as smartphones and Netbooks. This study aims to create a design of jacket patterns by body type through both actual and virtual wear testing among women in their 20s, who are the major consumer of ready-made clothes and are very sensitive to size fit. This study will provide pattern information for the manufacture of jackets with a goal of securing the latest scientific body type information and establish the grounds for a research method in the manufacture of clothes. According to actual and virtual wear tests of four different body types, a significant difference was found in armhole circumference in most types because it was scanned with the arms slightly apart to prevent the armhole area from being missed during the 3D scanning. This has resulted in a slight distortion in measurements. To correct this problem, it is necessary to verify the precision of the body scanner and its program. In categories in which a large significant difference was found, it is necessary to test them against many subjects. In addition, it would be required to perform a further study on the 3D virtual wear system, which could be useful in the clothing industry.
