자기조절에 대한 교사신념, 유아의 행동적 자기조절 및 학교준비도의 관계 : 유아 성별에 따른 차이 (The Relations Among Teachers' Beliefs Regarding Self-control, Preschoolers' Behavioral Self-regulation and School Readiness : The Gender Difference)

  • The current study examined the relations among teachers' beliefs, behavioral self-regulation and school readiness of preschoolers. The study sample included 229 preschoolers aged 3 to 5 attending child care centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi area of Korea. Using Structural Equation Modeling, the paths from teachers' beliefs to children's school readiness via the mediation of their behavioral self-regulation were examined. Children's self-regulation was directly assessed using Head-to-Toe Tasks. The results showed that teachers' stronger beliefs in and responsibility for children's self-regulation and interpersonal skills significantly predicted greater behavioral self-regulation among children, which in turn, significantly influenced greater social skills and work-related skills. The contribution of teachers' beliefs and behavioral regulation to social skills and work-related skills was positive and stronger for boys.

양육신념, 부모협력 및 가정학습환경과 유아의 학교준비도 (Parental Beliefs, Parental Involvement, the Home Learning Environment and Children's School Readiness)

  • This study investigated the effects of three factors-mothers' parenting beliefs; child care-home involvement; and the home learning environment - on the school readiness of 3- to 5-year-olds. The subjects were 366 children who were enrolled in child care centers located in Seoul and the Kyoungki area, and their mothers. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique was employed to test the pathways to children's school readiness as indicated by the child's abilities in vocabulary, math and reading. The results showed that mothers' stronger beliefs in their responsibilities in their children's academic and behavioral development predicted greater involvement in child care and better quality in the home learning environment. Likewise, the quality of the learning environment predicted the extent of the child's readiness for school. No direct relation was found between child care involvement and the child's school readiness. The results imply that multiple factors - parental, child-care-related, and home environmental- explain the extent to which the child is prepared to adjust to scholastic life.

입원 암환자의 죽음준비와 죽음불안 (Readiness for Death and Death Anxiety among Hospitalized Cancer Patients)

  • 본 연구는 암환자의 죽음준비와 죽음불안 정도 및 그 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 암으로 진단 받고 4개 병원에 입원 중인 환자 183명으로 자료수집은 2010년 5월에 이루어졌다. 자료분석은 SPSS WIN 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술통계, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient를 산출하였다. 대상자의 죽음준비 정도는 4점 만점에 1.99(${\pm}0.69$)점으로 심리적 준비 정도가 가장 높았으며, 죽음불안 정도는 4점 만점에 2.21(${\pm}0.59$)점으로 죽음과정에 대한 불안이 가장 높게 나타났다. 죽음준비와 죽음불안간의 상관관계는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 대상자의 특성에 따른 죽음준비 정도는 연령, 내세관, 암 병기, 투병기간 및 증상 수에서, 죽음불안 정도는 신앙심과 내세관에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 암환자들은 특히 죽음과정에 대한 불안이 높기 때문에 투병 및 임종과정에서 겪게 되는 불안을 경감시켜 줄 필요가 있으며, 아울러 영적 간호중재가 포함되어야 함을 제안한다.

임상간호사의 근거기반실무 실행 구조모형 (Structural Model of Evidence-Based Practice Implementation among Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop and test a structural model of evidence-based practice (EBP) implementation among clinical nurses. The model was based on Melnyk and Fineout-Overholt's Advancing Research and Clinical Practice through Close Collaboration model and Rogers' Diffusion of Innovations theory. Methods: Participants were 410 nurses recruited from ten different tertiary hospitals in Korea. A structured self-report questionnaire was used to assess EBP knowledge/skills, EBP beliefs, EBP attitudes, organizational culture & readiness for EBP, dimensions of a learning organization and organizational innovativeness. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WINdows 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 program. Results: The modified research model provided a reasonable fit to the data. Clinical nurses' EBP knowledge/skills, EBP beliefs, and the organizational culture & readiness for EBP had statistically significant positive effects on the implementation of EBP. The impact of EBP attitudes was not significant. The dimensions of the learning organization and organizational innovativeness showed statistically significant negative effects on EBP implementation. These variables explained 32.8% of the variance of EBP implementation among clinical nurses. Conclusion: The findings suggest that not only individual nurses' knowledge/skills of and beliefs about EBP but organizational EBP culture should be strengthened to promote clinical nurses' EBP implementation.

종합병원 간호사의 근거기반실무 준비도와 근거기반실무 역량의 영향 요인 (Factors Influencing of Evidence based Practice Competency and Evidence based Practice Readiness in General Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: The study was done to verify evidence-based practice (EBP) readiness and factors contributing to EBP competency in general hospital nurses. Methods: Participants were 219 nurses working in 7 general hospitals in G-city and J Province. Data were collected from May 12 to May 28, 2015 and analyzed using one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Mean score for EBP competency was $3.89{\pm}0.83$, for critical thinking disposition, $3.35{\pm}0.36$, for EBP attitude, $3.53{\pm}0.66$, for beliefs about value of EBP, $3.42{\pm}0.56$, for ability in research performance, $2.86{\pm}0.57$, for time to devote to EBP, $2.57{\pm}0.69$ and for organization support for EBP, $3.36{\pm}0.46$. EBP competency was significantly correlated with critical thinking disposition (r=.37, p<.001), beliefs about value of EBP (r=.43, p<.001), ability in research performance (r=.44, p<.001), and time to devote to EBP(r=.33, p<.001). Factors influencing EBP competency in general hospital nurses were research performance (${\beta}=.29$, p<.001), beliefs about value of EBP (${\beta}=.24$, p<.001), critical thinking disposition (${\beta}=.15$, p=.014), recognition of EBP (${\beta}=-.18$, p=.002), which together explained 35% of total variance. Conclusion: Findings indicate that introduction and activation of EBP in general hospitals is essential and development of systematic training programs to strengthen critical thinking disposition and EBP competency are needed.

Technology Readiness as Moderator for Satisfaction and Destination Loyalty in Augmented Reality Environments

  • Technology has been changing the travel experience of visitors. Particularly, augmented reality (AR) is one of the emerging technologies, which widely used in cultural heritage tourism sites. This study is based on a new technology acceptance model and future modified this model to examine the relationship between product beliefs, consumer satisfaction with AR, and destination loyalty in cultural heritage sites. Moreover, this paper examined the role of technology readiness (TR) forming travellers' loyalty of destination with a kind of travel technology--AR. The results show that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have significant effects on the satisfaction of AR towards the travellers' loyalty of destination. TR is found to have moderating effects on this model.

시민들의 암검진 실천 단계변화와 영향요인: 예방책 채택과정 모형 및 건강믿음모형의 통합적 활용 (Integrating the Precaution Adoption Process Model and the Health Belief Model to Assess Cancer Screening Readiness among Korean Adults)

  • Objectives: This study aims to assess the stages of individual readiness to take the cancer screening test and to identify factors relating to the progress of their readiness to take the test. Methods: We analyzed the data acquired from our 'Cancer Screening Behavior among Korean Adults' Survey' in 2003. 1,057 participants' stages of readiness to take the cancer screening test were classified through the Precaution Adoption Process Model (PAPM). Their knowledge, beliefs and other factors related to cancer screening were examined at each PAPM stage through the Health Belief Model (HBM), and the various PAPM stages were compared with each other to identify factors likely to determine progress between stages. Results: The distribution of the PAPM stages of readiness for cancer screening was as follows: 18.9% were unaware; 9.7% were unengaged; 29.8% were deciding to take the test; 1.5% decided not to take the test; 11.6% decided to take the test, while 28.6% had taken the test. The factors likely to determine progress from one to another stage were 'Knowledge', 'Perceived susceptibility', 'Perceived benefits', 'Perceived barriers' and 'Family member's experience of cancer screening'. Conclusions: This study can be used to develop health promotion programs that enhance cancer screening behavior in Korea.

근거기반 정맥주입요법 간호실무지침 실무적용 프로그램 개발 및 평가 - 중소병원을 대상으로 (Development and Effectiveness of Practice Application Program of Intravenous Infusion Evidence-Based Nursing Practice Guideline - for Small and Medium Sized Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop and test the effects of a program for practice application of intravenous infusion evidence based nursing practice (EBP) guidelines in small and medium-sized hospitals. Methods: A mixed method research design was used, combining non-equivalent control group pre-post test design with qualitative study analysis. The subjects consisted of 55 nurses. The practice application program was developed based on the Advancing Research and Clinical practice through close Collaboration (ARCC) model. Data were collected for analysis in the following areas: nurses' EBP organizational culture and readiness, EBP beliefs, EBP implementation, importance about intravenous infusion, and performance about intravenous infusion, with data assessed using valid and reliable instruments. Patient outcomes were collected from the hospital's medical records. Data were analyzed using t-test, χ2-test, and Shapiro-Wilk test, with qualitative content analysis used for interview data. Results: Following the intervention, nurses' EBP organizational culture and readiness, EBP beliefs, EBP implementation, and performance of intravenous infusion and perceptions of its importance showed significant improvement in the experimental group. Phlebitis rates decreased in the experimental group compared to the control group. Conclusion: This program is effective to improve nurse's perception and practice of evidence based nursing. Therefore we recommend to use this program at same levels of hospitals.

소비자 기술준비도에 따른 증강현실(AR) 패션 쇼핑 서비스 수용의도 (Augmented Reality (AR) Fashion Shopping Service Acceptance Based on Consumers' Technology Readiness)

  • This study analyzed the effects of optimism and innovativeness, the two drivers of a consumer's technological readiness to use an augmented reality(AR) fashion shopping service within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The survey was conducted on 249 people (males = 58; females = 191) in their 20s who were willing to participate in the AR experience. Data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling by AMOS 22.0. The results indicated that a greater level of perceived optimism had a positive influence on the ease of use and usefulness of the technology. The findings also show that consumers with a high degree of innovativeness tend to have a higher level of playfulness toward AR fashion shopping. Regarding the effects of user beliefs, ease of use had a positive effect on the perception of usefulness and playfulness with higher levels implying a higher consumer intention to adopt an AR fashion shopping service. In addition, this study reveals the moderating effect of consumers with high-fashion versus those with low-fashion innovativeness. For the latter, technological innovation had an insignificant effect on playfulness, thus indicating that consumers with low interest in fashion did not enjoy AR fashion shopping even if the technology was highly innovative. Nevertheless, the analysis confirms the possibility that experiencing a fashion product through AR technology could replace the actual experience of wearing the products.

가족의 사회경제적 지위가 유아의 읽기 능력에 미치는 직$\cdot$간접적 영향 연구 (Direct and Indirect Impact of Family Socioeconomic Status on Children's Reading Skills at Kindergarten Entry)

  • 본 연구는 가족의 사회경제적 지위가 가정교육활동 및 유아동의 읽기 능력에 미치는 직간접적인 영향을 다변수모형으로 분석하였다 사용된 자료는 미국 학령기 유아발달에 관련된, 가장 큰 자료중 하나인, Early Childhood Longitudinal Study-Kindergarten Cohort(ECLS-K)이다. 구조적 인과모형을 이용한 분석결과, 부모의 사회인구학적인 특성, 가정내 아동양육활동, 그리고 사회경제적 지위 등의 다양한 요인들이 유아의 읽기 능력을 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 가족의 사회경제적 지위는 직접적으로, 그리고 간접적으로는 주로 가정내 책읽기활동을 통해, 아동에게 영향을 미쳤다. 또, 사회경제적 지위가 가정내 책읽기활동에 미치는 영향력은 부모의 유치원 준비도에 관한 교육신념에 의해 매개되었다. 다시 말해, 사회경제적 지위는 유아의 읽기 능력을 직접적 그리고 간접적으로 예측하였다; 간접적으로는 부모의 교육신념을 통하여 가정내 읽기 활동을 예측하였고 다시 가정내 읽기 활동이 유아의 읽기 능력을 연쇄적으로 예측하였다 본 연구 결과는 가족의 사회경제적 지위가 여러 경로를 통해 유아의 읽기 능력과 관련되었음을 보여주며, 사회경제적 지위가 읽기 능력 및 학업에 미치는 영향력을 설명하기 위해서는 여러 가지 가족관련 매개변수를 연구에 포함해야 할 필요성을 시사한다.
