CH4/CHF3/Air 예혼합 화염의 축소 반응 메카니즘 개발 (The Development of a Short Reaction Mechanism for Premixed CH4/CHF3/Air Flames)

  • A short reaction mechanism for premixed $CH_4/CHF_3/Air$ flames was developed with a reduction method of the combined application of simulation error minimization (SEM) which included connectivity method and principal component analysis. It consisted of 43 species and 403 elementary reactions at the condition of less than 5% of maximum error. The calculation time operated with a short mechanism was over 5 times faster than one with a detailed reaction mechanism. Good agreement was found between the flame speeds calculated by the short reaction mechanism and those by the detailed reaction mechanism for the entire range of $CHF_3/CH_4$ mole ratios and equivalence ratios. In addition excellent agreements were determined for the profiles of temperature, species concentration, and the production rates of the various species. So the short reaction mechanism was able to accurately predict the flame structure for premixed $CH_4/CHF_3/Air$ flames.

굴 가수분해물을 이용한 천연조미소스 개발을 위한 마이얄 반응의 최적화 (Optimizing Maillard Reaction for Development of Natural Seasoning Source Using Oyster Hydrolysate)

  • 굴은 "바다의 우유"라고 불릴 정도로 영양분이 풍부하고, 균형이 잡혀 있다. 또한 타우린, 글리코겐, 셀레늄과 같은 성분이 풍부하다고 알려져 있다. 또한 이러한 영양학적 특징만을 가지고 있는 것이 아니라 식품 산업에서는 천연소스로 사용되어지기도 한다. 최근 다양한 선호도와 특별한 맛 때문에 소비자들의 천연소스에 대한 선호도가 높아졌다. 이 논문은 굴과 굴 가공 부산물인 굴 자숙액을 이용한 천연소스 개발을 위하여 소스 제조에 필요한 마이얄 반응의 최적 조건을 설정하고자하였다. 최적화를 위한 결과값은 갈색도와 열을 가하면 생성되는 향미성분인 pyrazine으로 판단한다. Protamex를 이용하여 굴과 굴 자숙액을 각각 6시간, 2시간 가수분해한 가수분해물과 당은 주로 glucose, xylose, fructose와 반응시켰고, xylose가 갈색화에 가장 적합하였다. 당함량은 1% 이상에서 반응하여도 거의 동일하였으며, 경제적으로 판단한 결과, 최적 농도는 가장 낮은 농도의 1%를 선택되었다. 또한 온도를 달리하여 반응을 시켰을 때, 갈변도는 $60^{\circ}C$ 이상에서 현저히 증가하는 경향을 보였고, 전반적으로는 갈변도와 pyrazine 모두가 온도가 상승해감에 따라 증가하였다. $120^{\circ}C$에서 가장 높은 수치를 보였지만, 이취가 발생하여 식품으로서는 부적합하였다. 따라서 $100^{\circ}C$에서 반응하는 것이 가장 적합하였다. 반응시간을 달리하여 측정한 결과, 6시간 까지는 상승을 하였으나, 6시간 이상에서 pyrazine과 갈색도의 변화가 없었다. 따라서 천연소스를 제조하기 위해 굴과 굴 자숙액 가수분해물을 이용해 $100^{\circ}C$, 6시간 동안 xylose로 마이알 반응을 시키는 것이 가장 적합하다고 판단하였다. 이러한 부산물을 이용하여 소스로 제조함으로서 산업적 이용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • m-Hydroxyaniline was reported to be converted to m-methoxyaniline with dimethylsulfate. However, while repeating the experiment with the same reaction condition, it was learned that the reaction product was not m-methoxyaniline but m-methoxy dimethylaniline. It was confirmed with nmr and ir spectrum and the comparison of bp and mp of the derivatives. Elemental analyses of the derivatives were also consistant with the fact N-dimethylation along with O-methylation occurred.

Percolation 공정에 의한 목질계 헤미셀룰로오스의 묽은산 전처리 (Dilute Acid Pretreatment of Woody Hemicellulose Using a Percolation Process)

  • The dilute-acid pretreatment/hydrolysis of hemicellulose in oak wood using a percolation reactor was investigated. The experimental conditions ranged 160∼180$^{\circ}C$ and 0.05∼0.2 wt.% sulfuric acid. XMG(xylan+mannan+galactan) recovery was higher when sulfuric acid was used as leaching solvent than water. Also it was important for high XMG recovery to keep leaching temperature higher after reaction. XMG recovery was decreased as the size of wood chips was increased. At an optimum condition (reaction condition= 170$^{\circ}C$, 0.1% sulfuric acid, 1ml/min, 10min, leaching condition=0.1% sulfuric acid, 2mL/min, 20 min), the product yield and the sugar concentration were about 92% and 2.7%, respectively.

  • The effect of limestone characteristics on in-furnace desulfurization was experimentally investigated at hot gas combustion condition in a drop tube furnace (DTF). Flue gas was measured by Gas analyzer in order to figure out $SO_2$ content. The experiments were performed under excess sulfur 3000ppm condition to examine the effect of operating variables such as reaction temperatures, Ca/S ratios on the $SO_2$ removal efficiencies. The results show that the $SO_2$ removal efficiency increased with reaction temperature and Ca/S ratio increase. When considering the economics, $1200^{\circ}C$ and Ca/S ratio 2 condition is optimized to reduce $SO_2$ emission.

Reactions of Aryl Halides with Phenoxides and Alkoxides by Phase Transfer Catalysis

  • The reaction of aryl halides with phenoxides and alkoxides were investigated under phase transfer catalytic conditions. 2,4-Dinitro- and 4-nitrohalobenzenes reacted readily with phenoxides in NaOH(aq)-benzene in the presence of Bu4N+Br, affording the products quantitatively. Although the aryl halides did not react with alkoxides under the same condition, the reactions were completed within 2 hours at room temperature when conducted under solid-liquid phase transfenr catalytic condition. The reactivity of aryl halides was in the order, Ar = 2,4-dinitrophenyl > 4-nitrophenyl, and X = F > Cl, consistent with the SNAr mechanism. The reactivity of oxyanions increased with the change of reaction condition from liquid-liquid to solid-liquid phase transfer catalysis. The results were explained with the concentration and the degree of hydration of the anion in benzene.

유동상 반응로 조건에서 목재와 RDF 부분 산화의 영향 (Effect of Partial Oxidation of Wood and RDF in a Fluidized Bed)

  • Gasification characteristics in the fluidized bed reactor are essential for the design of a gasification furnace to optimize the operation condition. Moisture content of the solid fuel is one of the important factors to influence directly the gasification characteristics. So it is necessary to investigate the effect of moisture content of solid fuel in partial oxidation condition. Gasification characteristics are investigated with results from thermogravimetric analyzer and lab-scale fluidized bed reactor for wood and RDF samples along with changing moisture contents. Additionally lab-scale fluidized bed reactor was run continuously and gas concentrations at the exit were measured. It is observed that the rate of reaction in partial oxidation condition is between the results from the combustion environment and from the inert condition. Moisture content in a particle slows down the heating rate of a particle. So, reaction is delayed by the moisture content. However, RDF samples those are easy to break-up don't show the effect of moisture content. The result of continuous operation condition shows that proper moisture content promotes gasification because steam from the particles helps gasification of the solid fuel. A simulation to predict the syn-gas composition was conducted by the Aspen Plus process simulator. The cold gas efficiency of the experiment was compared with results from the simulation.

유산소 운동능력 향상을 위한 중량물 부가 신발의 기능성 평가 (The Evaluation of an additional Weight Shoe's Function developed for the Improvement of Aerobic Capacity)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the function and the safety of an additional weight shoe developed for the improvement of aerobic capacity, and to improve some problems found by subject's test for an additional weight shoe. The subjects employed for this study were 10 college students. 4 video cameras, AMTI force platform and Pedar insole pressure distribution measurement device were used to analyze foot motions. The results of the study were as follows: 1 The initial achilles tendon angle and initial rearfoot pronation angle of an additional weight shoe during walking were 183.7 deg and 2.33 deg, respectively, and smaller than a barefoot condition. Maximum achilles tendon angle and the angular displacement of achilles tendon angle were 185.35 deg and 4.21 deg respectively, and smaller than barefoot condition. Thus rearfoot stability variables were within the permission value for safety. 2. Maximal anterior posterior ground reaction force of additional weight shoe was appeared to be 1.01-1.2 B.W., and was bigger than a barefoot condition. The time to MAPGRF of an additional weight shoe was longer than a barefoot condition. Maximal vertical ground reaction force of additional weight shoe was appeared to be 2.3-2.7 B.W., and was bigger than a barefoot condition in propulsive force region. But A barefoot condition was bigger in braking force region. The time to MVGRF of an additional weight shoe was longer than a barefoot condition. 3. Regional peak pressure was bigger in medial region than in lateral region in contrast to conventional running shoes. The instant of regional peak pressure was M1-M2-M7-M4-M6-M5 -M3, and differed form conventional running shoes. Regional Impulse was shown to be abnormal patterns. There were no evidences that an additional weight shoe would have function and safety problems through the analysis of rearfoot control and ground reaction force during walking. However, There appeared to have small problem in pressure distribution. It was considered that it would be possible to redesign the inner geometry. This study could not find out safety on human body and exercise effects because of short term research period. Therefore long term study on subject's test would be necessary in the future study.

  • Tetrahydrotricyclopentadiene(이하 THTCPD)의 이성질체는 높은 밀도와 높은 발열량을 가지고 있어 고성능 액체 연료의 주요성분물질로 활용이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 상온에서 고체 상태로 유동성이 좋지 않은 THTCPD를 유동성이 우수한 액체상태 특성을 가질 수 있게 할 수 있는 최적의 반응조건을 찾는 것이다. THTCPD의 이성화 반응은 반응온도 변화와 반응용매의 영향 등의 다양한 반응조건을 통해 살펴보았다. 알루미늄클로라이드 촉매를 사용하여 THTCPD 이성화 반응을 실험한 결과 Dichloromethane(Methylene Chloride: MC), 1,2-Dichloroethane(Ethylene Chloride: EC), Chloroform과 같은 할로겐 함유 극성용매가 n-Hexane, Toluene과 같은 비극성 탄화수소형 용매보다 이성화 반응에서 우수한 특성을 나타내었으며, 반응온도의 변화도 이성화반응에 크게 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다.

L-리보스 생산을 위한 L-아라비노스의 에피머반응 (Epimerization of L-Arabinose for Producing L-Ribose)

  • L-리보스는 항바이러스 약의 출발물질로 근래 관심의 대상이다. 이 물질은 에피머 반응에 의해 L-아라비노스로 부터 얻을 수 있다. 몰리브덴 산화물이나 몰리브덴산 촉매 그리고 메탄올/물 용액에서 에피머 반응을 수행하였다. 반응 온도, 메탄올 분율, 촉매종류를 선정하여 최적 반응을 찾고자 하였다. 이온교환크로마토그래피를 이용하여 에피머 반응물을 분리하였고 L-리보스 HPLC 크로마토그램에서 반응수율을 계산하였다. Sodex 이온교환 HPLC 칼럼과 Phenomenex $NH_2$ HPLC 칼럼을 분석의 편의성 면에서 비교하였다. 20% 메탄올, $60^{\circ}C$, 그리고 40 g/L 몰리브덴산 조건에서 21% 최대수율을 얻었다.
