  • We use Cauchy's functional equation to construct a new non-measurable set which is a (vector) subspace of \mathbb{R}$ and is of a codimensiion 1, considering \mathbb{R}$, the set of real numbers, as a vector space over a field \mathbb{Q}$ of rational numbers. Moreover, we show that \mathbb{R}$ can be partitioned into a countable family of disjoint non-measurable subsets.

  • Nowadays, the color of the interior effects people's thought, behavior and even the psychological state and this led to the presence of emotional design. The color is perceived as the main image of the apartment, and if applied from the early state of designing it can create a more rational and emotional interior. The purpose of this study is to understand the emotional factors by color taste characteristic and the application to living space. The living space of apartments will express people's emotion more aggressively and variously in the coming years.

  • Let Y be the quintic del Pezzo 4-fold defined by the linear section of Gr(2, 5) by ℙ7. In this paper, we describe the locus of double lines in the Hilbert scheme of coincs in Y. As a corollary, we obtain the desigularized model of the moduli space of stable maps of degree 2 in Y. We also compute the intersection Poincaré polynomial of the stable map space.

  • Accessibility of urban green space, as an important index of evaluating the service level of urban green space, not only shows the resident's access to green space, but also reflects the environment quality of urban living. Since the quantity, area and space distribution of the patches in urban green space directly affect the function of urban green space and the quality of urban environment, the research on the accessibility of urban green space holds great significance to improve the service of urban green space and the living environment quality. Based on GIS software, this research uses the road network and the population distribution data of Nanjing's city proper to conduct quantitative analysis of the accessibility of park green space and the convenience for residents to travel under different forms of transportation. After the case analysis, the author tests the application of road network in studying the accessibility of urban park green space and proposes a GIS-based method to study the accessibility and the rational layout of urban green space.

  • Satellite imagery with high resolution of about one meter is used widely in commerce and government applications ranging from earth observation and monitoring to national digital mapping. Due to the expensiveness of IKONOS Pro and Precision products, it is attractive to use the low-cost IKONOS Geo product with vendor-provided rational polynomial coefficients (RPCs), to produce highly accurate mapping products. The imaging geometry of IKONOS high-resolution imagery is described by RFs instead of rigorous sensor models. This paper presents four different polynomial models, that are the offset model, the scale and offset model, the Affine model, and the 2nd-order polynomial model, defined respectively in object space and image space to improve the accuracies of the RF-derived ground coordinates. Not only the algorithm for RF-based ground coordinates but also the algorithm for accuracy improvement of RF-based ground coordinates are developed which is based on the four models, The experiment also evaluates the effect of different cartographic parameters such as the number, configuration, and accuracy of ground control points on the accuracy of geopositioning. As the result of a experimental application, the root mean square errors of three dimensional ground coordinates which are first derived by vendor-provided Rational Function models were averagely 8.035m in X, 10.020m in Y and 13.318m in Z direction. After applying polynomial correction algorithm, those errors were dramatically decreased to averagely 2.791m in X, 2.520m in Y and 1.441m in Z. That is, accuracy was greatly improved by 65% in planmetry and 89% in vertical direction.

  • Now architecture has been become a significant element which is able to determine the competitiveness as a cultural product by going beyond the concept that architecture offer a space for just residence and office. From old times, planning and managing the urban space create living space to be more comfortable and efficient. Nevertheless, all of a public and private have resolved urban problems only to create economy growth by shortsighted approach. Therefore, a more macroscopic for composing an urban environment emerged the need for access in terms of the plan, to these aspects of the landscape and urban residential environment that can be applied to the United States's PUD techniques and focus on the development of urban space cases by applied PUD to improve a more rational and efficient urban space and to creation lively dwelling environment and the favorable landscapes forming want to try.

  • Recently, hospital architecture has acknowledged remedial value of environment and atmosphere, which consider patient's statement of physical, spiritual, psychological and social focus, escape from the past focus of functional and rational space composition. The many research of hospital architecture just analyze elements of architectural planing which focus how to make a healing environment for patients. The purpose of this study is to abstract the design principle of architectural space composition for healing environment significance, through case study which follow up space composition. To abstract healing environment significance by space composition, each case study hospitals should be analyzed and estimated on the spatial composition elements. It is to provide the basic data for effective architectural planning of the hospital.

  • The Restroom in house have a main role of bath, excretion, and washing hands. So there are usually bathtub, washbasin, and chamber pot. But the actions of bathing, excretion, and washing hands are not always occur at the same time. So the necessary of sectioning the restroom's space is introduced. In Japan they have some different methods in planning the restroom space. They separate the roles of bathroom and toilet, and develop several types of restroom. And they applicated the several types of restroom to appropriate spaces and floors. These sectioning the restroom's space make the moving line rational and take off the waste of spaces.
