  • This paper aims to propose a method that helps maintenance engineers to evaluate the damage states of bridge systems by using a Fuzzy Fault Tree Analysis(FFTA). It may be stated that Fuzzy Fault Tree Analysis may be may useful for the systematic md rational condition and safety assessment for real bridge systems problems because the approach is able to effectively deal with all the related bridge system damages in terms of the linguistic variables that incorporate systematically experts experiences and subjective judgement.

  • Although concrete pavements were successfully widespread throughout the nation due to the desirable surface characteristics, durability, and economy, it still causes several transverse cracking and joint failure problems in some areas. In this paper, the major emphasis was given to provide a rational analytical approach on joint failure mechanisms, considering several sets of joint stiffnesses on different subgrade moduli. Besides , load transfer mechanisms on concrete pavement joints were highlighted with finite element method and computer modeling.

  • As a power system gets complicated and the number of regulating points increases, the voltage reactive power control tends to be more complex and more difficult. In the past, we took only the voltage regulation into account for this voltage control problem. pay attention not only to the voltage regulation but also to the rational system operation which minimizes transmission losses. Considering the rehuirements mentioned above we aim developing a method of coordination of these regulating equipments and also present some preliminary discussions aboutcomputer control of power systems which is now frequently available with the progress of digital computer technique.

  • This paper presents a proper rational transfer function synthesis in the continuous time system from noisy measurements. The proposed method identifies the coefficients vector of the transfer function from an overdetermined linear system that develops from rearranging the two dimensional system matrices and output vectors obtained from the observed frequency responses. By computer simulation, the performance improvement is verified.

  • The modified F-expansion method is used to construct analytical solutions of the foam drainage equation with time- and space-fractional derivatives. The conformable derivatives are considered as spacial and temporal ones. As a result, some analytical exact solutions including kink, bright-dark soliton, periodic and rational solutions are obtained.

  • 컴포넌트에 의한 시스템 구축은 기능 중심의 독립적인 컴포넌트를 기반으로 새로운 소프트웨어를 구축한다. 컴포넌트를 중심으로 한 소프트웨어의 개발은 품질향상, 마른 개발과 유지보수의 효율성과 같은 소프트웨어의 재사용에 의해서 얻을 수 있는 이익을 얻을 수 있다. 컴포넌트 기반의 시스템에서 재사용성을 높일 수 있는 고 품질 컴포넌트의 효율적인 식별과 구축은 가장 중요한 목표이자 성공 요소이다. 따라서 컴포넌트 개발자는 현재 각 컴포넌트 개발 방법론들의 컴포넌트 식별에 대한 장점과 단점을 파악하여 개발하고자 하는 시스템에 적합한 방법론을 선택하는 것이 필요하고 또한 여러 방법론의 단점을 보완하여 독립적인 컴포넌트를 효율적으로 식별할 수 있는 새로운 방법론을 개발하는 것이 필요하다. 그러기 위해서는 다양한 방법론에 대한 비교 분석이 절실히 요청된다. 본 논문은 최근에 산업계에서 널리 쓰이고 있는 대표적인 컴포넌트 기반 소프트웨어 개발 방법론인 Rational사의 RUP(Rational Unified Process)[1,9], Computer Associates사의 CBD96[2,3]과, Compuware사의 UNIFACE[5] 그리고 Cheesman과 Daniels가 CBD96의 컴포넌트 개발 방법을 화장하여 제안한 UML Components 방법론[4] 등의 컴포넌트 식별 방법을 설명하고 그들의 문제점을 기술한다. 그리고 컴포넌트 식별 방법들을 총체적인 측면에서 비교 분석한다.

  • 공내하향 탄성파시험(downhole seismic tests) 결과를 해석하는 새로운 방법을 소개하였다. 이 방법은 역산이론(inverse thery)에 근거 하며, 직접산출법(direct measurements)과 간접산 출법(indirect measurements)과 같은 기존 방법으로는 불가능한 정도의 자세한 탄성파 속도 프로파일(profile)을 얻을 수 있다. 더욱이, 이 방법은 속도 프로파일의 신뢰도를 평가 할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 지반구조가 서로 다른 5개소의 현장에서 이 방법의 적용성을 검증하였다.

교통량과 교통하중을 고려한 교량건설비용의 할당 (An Approach for Bridge Construction Cost Allocation Considering Traffic Load and Traffic Capacity)

  • The objective of bridge construction cost allocation is to distribute in a fair and rational manner the bridge construction costs among those vehicles using the bridge. In most bridge construction cost allocation studies, bridge construction costs are mainly distributed according to traffic load(gross vehicle weight), without any consideration of bridge capacity requirements(the number of lanes). In this paper, a bridge cost allocation method for considering both traffic capacity and traffic loads is developed. The proposed method is based on cooperative game theory, particularly two concepts known as the Aumann-Shapley (A-S) value and Shapley value. This method can help to analyze the impact of traffic capacity costs. By applying the proposed method to an example, traffic capacity cost is found to be high so that traffic capacity should be considered to allocate the bridge construction costs to vehicle classes in a more equitable manner.
