  • The micro fabrication on the mold material using picosecond laser ablation processing has been studied. We used the two kind of system with picosecond laser. First one is two mirror type scanner and telecentric f-theta lens. Second one is X-Y stage and objective lens. By using these system, the $100{\mu}m$ size chess patterning and $2{\mu}m$ size patterning was fabricated. Especially $2{\mu}m$ size patterning on the mold material can be used as the decorative rainbow color logo for industrial field. In this paper, it is proved the picosecond laser is effective tool for the laser ablation processing.

  • Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) is rapidly developing as a stable and reliable quantum-resistant form of cryptography, throughout the industry. Similarly to existing cryptography, however, it does not prevent a third-party from using the secret key when third party obtains the secret key by deception, unauthorized sharing, or unauthorized proxying. The most effective alternative to preventing such illegal use is the utilization of biometrics during the generation of the secret key. In this paper, we propose a biometric-based secret key generation scheme for multivariate quadratic signature schemes, such as Rainbow. This prevents the secret key from being used by an unauthorized third party through biometric recognition. It also generates a shorter secret key by applying Principal Component Analysis (PCA)-based Confidence Interval Analysis (CIA) as a feature extraction method. This scheme's optimized implementation performed well at high speeds.

  • An Intergenerational Horticultural Program in a rural community in Korea was tried out to enhance social interaction between elderly citizens and children, to promote the positive self-esteem of the elderly in a rural community, to change the attitude of children towards the elderly, and to create a rural community full of vitality. The clients were 20 elderly (60-80 years old) and 40 preschool children (6-7 years old). The activities in this program included seed of hope, round autumn garden, dish garden, in the vegetable patch, flower decoration for the Chuseok Festival, rainbow flower basket, heart card, fragrance of love, and a kimchi party. The results were a decrease in depression among the elderly from 44.0% to 33.7%. General satisfaction among the elderly was 100%. The desire to rejoin among the elderly was 100%. General satisfaction among the children was 100%. The desire to rejoin among the children was 93.5%.

  • The isozymic polymorphism among the Oncorhynchus masou subspecies (O. m. masou and O. m. ishikawai) and the genetic variation in the O. mykiss species (rainbow trout and its albino mutant) were examined in present study. The biochemical marker might be identified at the sublevel of species. The aims of this study is to examine such feasibility of using the isozyme polymorphisms of the fish management and characterization between subspecies or morphomutants such as albinism. (omitted)

  • Studies in the chick (Hill and Olsen 1963, Richardson et al.1953), rat (Swendseid et al. 1963, Young and Zamora 1968), pig (Puchal et al. 1962), man (Longnecker and Hause 1961, Snyderman et al. 1964, Swendseid et al. 1966), and fish (Thebault 1985) have clearly established that a reduced concentration of an EAA in plasma reflects a deficient level of that amino acid in the diet. • Recently, industrial activities have increased atmospheric concentration of sulfur and nitrogen oxides, resulting in acidification in the environments. In addition, acidification accelerates the mobilization of metals that are toxic to fish and increases their concentrations in the aquatic environment. Increased metals may interfere with reproductive physiology in fish. Al and Cd are such metals that impaired the preduction of Vitellogenin (VTG), a egg yolk precursor proteins. (omitted)

  • In this paper, an efficient hybrid numerical method for solving two-asset option pricing problem is presented based on the Crank-Nicolson and the radial basis function methods. For this purpose, the two-asset Black-Scholes partial differential equation is considered. Also, the convergence of the proposed method are proved and implementation of the proposed hybrid method is specifically studied on Exchange and Call on maximum Rainbow options. In addition, this method is compared to the explicit finite difference method as the benchmark and the results show that the proposed method can achieve a noticeably higher accuracy than the benchmark method at a similar computational time. Furthermore, the stability of the proposed hybrid method is numerically proved by considering the effect of the time step size to the computational accuracy in solving these problems.

  • Objective: To investigate the effects of a brain fitness exercise on the cognitive function of patients with dementia. Method: Forty-six elderly adults diagnosed with dementia were randomly allocated to the study or control group (n=23 per group). The study and control groups performed a brain fitness and regular exercise, respectively, for 40 minutes a day, three times a week for four weeks. We examined cognitive capacity using MMSE-K, cognitive strength, judgment time, and mental workload scores before and after intervention. Results: The study group showed significant improvements in all variables. In addition, the control group showed a significant improvement in brain stress. We found that there was a significant improvement in the study group when compared with the control group in all variables. Conclusion: Based on these results, we suggest that brain fitness exercise would be effective in improving cognitive functions of dementia patients.

  • Exposure of 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) causes a variety of biological and toxicology effects, most of which are mediated by aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR). The ligand-bound AhR as a heterodimer with AhR nuclear translocator (ARNT) binds to its specific DNA recognition site, the dioxin-responsive element (DRE), and it results in increased transcription of CYP1A1 gene. Retinoic acid (RA) regulates the transcription of various genes for several essential functions through binding to two classes of nuclear receptors, the retinoic acid receptor (RAR) and retinoid X receptor (RXR). • This study was carried out to make the new products of color moot as a functional food by variation of the color and flavor through addition of gamgyul, Daccus Carota Var. Sativa, Vitis vinifera, soy sauce, and Pimpinella brachycarpa N., respectively. For all the products, the color was observed by Colorimeter and the sensory evaluation was performed to evaluate their effectiveness and usefulness. The A$_w$ (water activity) test of color mooks has performed to examine their water activity individually. The A$_w$ of color moot was higher than that of the white one. The characters of texture of color mook as a function of the amount of the color and the flavor added were measured by a texture analyzer (XT-RA, Texturometer). By the TPA test, the rainbow and orange color mook examined were high in the springiness.
