In this paper, we introduce a class of rings generalizing unit regular rings and being a subclass of semipotent rings, which is called idempotent unit regular. We call a ring R an idempotent unit regular ring if for all r ∈ R - J(R), there exist a non-zero idempotent e and a unit element u in R such that er = eu, where this condition is left and right symmetric. Thus, we have also that there exist a non-zero idempotent e and a unit u such that ere = eue for all r ∈ R - J(R). Various basic characterizations and properties of this class of rings are proved and it is given the relationships between this class of rings and some well-known classes of rings such as semiperfect, clean, exchange and semipotent. Moreover, we obtain some results about when the endomorphism ring of a module in a class of left R-modules X is idempotent unit regular.

The purpose of this study is to analyze elementary school students' pre-concept of electromagnet and to investigate effects of instruction through social interactions on conceptual changes of the electromagnet. For the purpose, 108 elementary school students of 3 classes were selected from the 6th grade. They were divided into the control group I, control group II and experimental group. The control group I was treated through traditional instruction on the basis of text book. The control group II was instructed with a modified version of the textbook to help them better understand the concept of electromagnet. The experimental group was treated through instruction on the basis of the above modified version of the text book and social interactions. Conceptual changes on electromagnet before and after the treatment were quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed using the identical test. The students' styles of social interaction were qualitatively analyzed with tape records of their discussions and work sheets. Effects of instruction through social interactions based on radical constructivism on the 6th-grade elementary school students' concept of electromagnet were examined here. The results were described as follows. Firstly, after the treatment, the experimental group was statistically significantly higher in mean values of conceptual understanding and academic achievement than both the control group I and II. Secondly, styles of social interaction in the three sub-groups of the experimental group were qualitatively analyzed, among the threes, high- and medium-level sub-groups were higher in the frequency of linguistic social interaction than the low-level sub-group. Those students who were excellent in communication skills actively participated in linguistic social interactions. In discussions among the three sub-groups, students of the high- and medium-level sub-groups provided explanations or information while those of the other sub-group sometimes were passive by just listening, but in large actively participated in communication. In conclusion, instruction through social interactions was effectively changed in the 6th-grade elementary school students' concept of electromagnet.

본 연구에서는 초등 예비교사 128명을 대상으로 포토보이스 활동을 통해 4차 산업혁명 시대 과학 교육과정의 방향에 관해 자신의 관점을 표현할 수 있도록 하였다. 활동 결과를 검치호랑이 교육과정의 보수적, 진보적, 급진적 관점으로 구분하여 탐색한 결과, 보수적 관점과 진보적 관점이 유사 비율로 높게 나타났고 급진적 관점이 낮게 나타났다. 보수적 관점의 예비교사들은 검치호랑이 교육과정에서 영원한 진리는 바탕이 되며 지켜나가야 한다는 원로들의 관점과 같이, 시간과 환경의 변화를 초월하여 유지되어야 할 '탐구'를 과학 교육과정의 기본으로 보고 중시하였다. 진보적 관점의 예비교사들은 검치호랑이 교육과정에서 '새 주먹'의 혈통을 이어받은 진취적인 사람과 같은 맥락을 가진 것으로서, 코딩과 메타버스 등 AI 기반 교육에 대해 긍정적으로 생각하여 탐구 기반을 대체할 수 있는 교수학습방법으로 생각하였다. 급진전 관점의 예비교사들은 검치호랑이 교육과정에서 급진주의자들이 진보적 교육과정에 의해 형성된 사회 계층 간의 갈등 문제에 대해 비판한 것처럼, 급변하는 과학교육의 정책적 상황에 대해 비판의식을 가지는 형태로 현 과학교육을 바라보고 있었다. 검치호랑이 교육과정의 흐름을 통해 얻을 수 있는 시사점처럼, 예비교사들은 특정한 하나의 관점에 종속된 형태로의 교육과정을 보는 시각보다는 여러 관점으로 과학 교육과정을 바라볼 수 있는 사유 역량이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

We conducted comparative analysis on the quality characteristics five different classes of the Songgi (Pine inner bark) Garaetteok with different pine inner bark 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, and 4%, respectively. The experiment results show that color values of the Songgi Garaetteok pine inner bark powder, the L value highest in control group 72.91 while a value was highest in 4% group. As a result of measurements for three days, the moist content for control group and 1% group 48.89 and 51.65, respectively two hours production. On day 1, the moist content of all samples peaked. Harness peaked in control group 954.13, followed by 4% group. The DPPH radical scavenging ability of pine inner bark powder and the Songgi Garaetteok containing 4% pine inner bark highest at 11.61% and 7.14%, respectively. In evaluating antibiosis, the Songgi Garaetteok containing 4% pine inner bark the highest level of antibacterial activity. In sensory evaluation, the Songgi Garaetteok containing 2% pine inner bark received the highest score color, flavor, texture, taste and overall preference. The experiment that the Songgi Garaetteok pine inner bark powder has better antioxidative effect regular Songgi Garaetteok. Therefore, the Songgi Garaetteok 2% pine inner bark powder the most desirable of the Songgi Garaetteok containing pine inner bark.

신선한 곤드레를 메탄올로 침지 추출하여 얻어진 추출물에 대해 n-hexane, EtOAc 및 n-BuOH로 극성별 순차 용매 분획을 실시하였고, 얻어진 결과물에 대하여 DPPH와 $ABTS^+$ radical 소거능 및 최종당화물 생성 저해활성을 평가하였다. 먼저 DPPH 라디칼 소거활성은 페놀성 화합물의 함량이 상대적으로 높은 n-BuOH 가용부에서 $IC_{50}$값이 $24.3{\pm}1.7{\mu}g/mL$ 으로 우수한 DPPH 라디칼 소거능을 확인하였고, 곤드레 추출물에 존재하는 페놀성 화합물과 라디칼 소거능과의 연관성을 시사하였다. 또한 $ABTS^+$ 라디칼 소거능은 EtOAc 및 n-BuOH 분획층물의 $IC_{50}$값은 각각 $69.5{\pm}2.6{\mu}g/mL$, $25.0{\pm}3.3{\mu}g/mL$의 라디칼 소거활성이 확인되었고, 우수한 라디칼 소거 활성물질의 존재가 시사되었다. 또한, 최종당화물 생성 저해활성을 측정한 결과, n-BuOH 가용분획에서 $IC_{50}$값이 $46.0{\pm}1.5{\mu}g/mL$로 높은 생성저해활성을 나타내었으며, 이는 positive control인 aminoguanidine의 $IC_{50}$값인 $90.2{\pm}3.2{\mu}g/mL$과 비교해볼 때 우수한 활성이었으며, 다양한 화합물이 공존하는 추출물 상태의 시료를 단일물질로 정제할 경우 더욱 우수한 효능의 화합물이 존재할 가능성을 시사하였다. 향후 이들 활성물질 동정을 통한 활성물질의 구조 결정 및 활성 기작에 대한 연구가 필요하며 본 연구결과는 천연물 유래의 라디칼 소거능 및 AGEs 생성 저해능을 가지는 새로운 천연 기능성소재 발굴을 위한 기초자료로 활용가능하리라 사료된다.

본 연구는 국내 대학도서관 서양서 장서 개발의 변화를 살펴보기 위해 2003년과 2013년에 출판된 서양서 소장 실태를 KERIS 종합목록을 통해 분석하였다. 이를 위해 새로운 장서 지표로 소장 h-지수, 장서 고유성 지수, 그리고 공통장서 확보율을 제안하고 기본 지표인 종수 및 책수, 그리고 종당 책수와 함께 활용하였다. 분석 결과 2003년에 비해서 2013년에 출판된 서양서의 전체 소장 종수는 16.1% 감소하고 소장 책수는 42.2% 감소하여 소장 책수가 더 크게 감소하였다. 여러 도서관이 공통적으로 소장하는 공통 장서, 또는 기본 장서의 규모를 나타내는 공통장서 확보율은 줄어들었고, 장서고유성은 증가하였다. DDC 주류 중에서는 컴퓨터 관련 도서가 급감한 0XX(총류) 분야의 감소율이 가장 컸다. 도서관별 장서량 측면에서는 2003년에 비해서 2013년 출판도서의 경우에 상위 도서관이 더욱 과점하는 빈익빈 부익부 현상이 심화되었다.

빈카마이너 L.의 알칼로이드는 HPLC의 PDA 검출기를 이용하여 측정하고 이를 표준시료인 빈카민의 자외선/가시광선 흡수 스펙트럼과 비교하여 분석하였다. 플라보노이드류를 포함하여 추출물에서 9개 이상의 화합물에 대한 자외선/가시광선 흡수 스펙트럼을 얻었다. 추출방법에 따라 에탄올 추출물과 열수 추출물을 얻고 이를 DPPH 라디칼 소거법에 의해 항산화 효과를 조사하였다. 그 결과 에탄올 추출물과 열수 추출물 모두 비교군인 케르세틴과 비타민 C 대비 약 14~15%의 항산화 효과를 보여 추출법에 상관없이 유사한 결과를 보였다.

This study is to investigate the previous cases of plural eclecticism through the works of Vivienne Westwood, who contributed to the spread of innovative and eclectic English fashion out to the world as well as to review plurality and its phenomena since the 20th century more systematically. In terms of research methodology, the phenomena of plural eclecticism were examined from social and cultural perspectives, whereas bibliographic research and case study were performed for the phenomena of eclecticism in fashion. From the perspective of plural eclecticism, the results from analyzing the works of Vivienne Westwood by the divisions of temporal eclecticism, spatial eclecticism, and contingent eclecticism are described in the following. First, Vivienne Westwood emphasized historicism tendency of temporal eclecticism. Her efforts to try to modernize history went beyond ages and social classes including men's clothing, prostitutes' costumes, craft items, and dresses for royal family. Second, her spatial eclecticism was reflected on the first collection themes inspired by the American Indians or borrowed from the names of Voodoo in the Tropics. Finally, infra-fashion as an expression of contingent eclecticism of Vivienne Westwood's works can be interpreted as plural eclecticism which shows contingent eclecticism and historic eclecticism at the same time. This study aimed at proving preceding implications concerning recent plural eclecticism through the analysis of the works of Vivienne Westwood who tried a radical design of plural eclecticism in an effort to modernize the tradition of England in the circumstances where a number of trends and styles exist together, with their own uniqueness and values.

기독교도이자 화인인 바수키 자카르타 주지사는 그간 구가하던 인기에도 불구하고 2017년 선거에서 재선에 실패하고 종교모독죄로 수감되었다. 그의 패배 이후 인도네시아 정치의 레토릭은 급진 이슬람 정치운동의 '반공' 및 '프리부미(토착민)'와 조코위 정부의 '빤짜실라'가 대결하는 양상이었다. 비록 제도권 이슬람 정당들은 이슬람의 결집보다는 각자의 연합 정치와 정당의 생존에 몰두하고 있지만, 자카르타 주지사 선거에서 확인된 이슬람 감수성의 고양은 향후에도 종교가 인도네시아 정치의 핵심 변수가 될 것임을 보여 준다. 또한 2018년 지방자치단체장 선거와 2019년 대선을 앞두고 등장한 장성 출신의 후보들, 그리고 조코위 대통령이 제도권 외부의 정적을 향해 사용한 일부 조치들은 수하르토의 신질서를 떠올리게 한다. 한편 인도네시아의 경제는 꾸준히 성장하고 있다. 최저임금 인상으로 중산층이 확대되고 빈곤율이 감소했으며, 조코위 정부의 공약이었던 인프라 건설도 성과를 내고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 한국과 인도네시아의 협력 증진은 고무적인 일이지만, 협력은 할랄인증제의 확대 실시 등 현지의 사회문화적 맥락을 고려한 방식으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.

This essay attempts to read Percy Bysshe Shelley s The Mask of Anarchy by attending to a political agenda that Shelley seeks to propose and embody in the poem. This poem was written as a response to an exceptional political event, the Peterloo Massacre, and thus it is evident that Shelley intended to engage in contemporary politics by writing this poem. As many critics have pointed out, however, the way in which this poem addresses social, plitical issues is ambivalent and even confusing, since it contains many elements that contradict each other, and sometimes its political visions are based on incoherent conceptions. For this reason, this poem has been considered to be a failure as an occasional poem which should provide the reader with a clear direction for political actions. Faced with this critical problem, this essay proposes that the ambivalence this poem reveals-e.g., the confrontation between moderate artistic fantasy and radical tenets-is not a retreat from political activism, as some critics suggested, but a result of its creation and embodiment of a public sphere which invites various social classes and their positions. The mode in which Shelley conceives this unified public sphere in the course of writing The Mask of Anarchy can be interpreted in terms of the following three features. First, this poem underscores the significance of thoughts in constituting a communal space between people, thus asking the reader to participate in this process of thinking on given issues. Second, this poem suggests that people should enlighten each other by engaging in communicative reciprocations. Lastly, the public sphere formulated by the previous two features should incorporate various socio-political agents beyond class boundaries (even oppressors themselves) into its own working field. After explaining how these three features are manifested in the poem, this essay argues that the unified public sphere thus formed in the poem is the very agenda that Shelley aims to propose for the contemporaneous politics and culture. As a conclusion, this essay highlights how Shelley s project of creating a unified public sphere finally failed in contemporary history through observing two contrasting receptions of Shelley s works.
