  • Moral hazard and adverse selection often exist in asymmetric information environment. In this paper, quality investment decision problem is studied under moral hazard. A basic model for quality investment level decision is developed with the supplier as a principal and the buyer as an agent. And then we regard the supplier and the buyer's rational limitations to set up a model when the buyer's quality evaluation and processing activities are hidden. The model is optimized and the results under different backgrounds are discussed and compared. Results show that the buyer's quality evaluation level and processing level are mostly influenced by the supplier's quality assurance payment. Both the supplier and the buyer choose different quality investment levels under moral hazard because of the supplier's payment to the buyer in case of internal failure and external failure.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop measurement items for quality cost in service industries. Quality cost is necessary in order to evaluate quality management activities. It is clear that the quality cost in service industry is different from manufacturing industry. Generally, in service industries, quality cost is very difficult to assess because it has a unique characteristics. This paper proposes an effective method for measuring quality cost in service industries. Based on the PAF (Prevention, Appraisal, Failure) cost model, we utilizes the concept of five demensions in SERVQUAL which are tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. This paper also presents to a standard model for quality cost measurement in service industries.

  • This study investigated the relationship between business-to-business service quality and loyalty by applying the IMP (International/Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group) model. The study found that six dimensions of service quality which were product exchange, financial exchange, information exchange, social exchange, cooperation, and adaptation explained B2B service quality very well. More specifically, the study found that service quality dimensions of social exchange, cooperation, and adaptation were more important than those of product exchange, financial exchange, and information exchange. The study also found a positive relationship between service quality and loyalty. In fact, organizational buyers appeared to show greater loyalty as they perceived service quality better.

  • In this paper, the trend of quality management system that suppliers in the automotive industry are adopting, the classification system of suppliers and car manufacturers requirements for quality are described. Due to the complexity of the requirements for quality, the introduction of an active quality management system which can meet all conditions is a difficult task. Thus, to cope with this difficulty, this paper shows the optimal requirements that suppliers have to consider when they are introducing quality management system and the discriminated strategies to assure parts quality by supplier model.

  • In this Paper, We propose new performance measure model in Logistic Industry. New model has been learned by key points of PZB model and advanced structure of MBNQA which has cause measure points and effect measure points. The Structure of new performance measure model is Cubic Model which is reflected with time. We try to verify this model apply advance logistic company.

  • A water quality model was developed for small stream at a upland agricultural watershed. A control volume method was employed to digest the severe variability of stream shape, water quality and discharge at small streams. We estimated optimum reaction coefficients and model structure using a random number generation technique. The index of agreement and coefficient of efficiency were introduced for the model calibration criterion. As the result, the reliability of model parameter estimation could be improved. The applicability of model was tested by a set of sampling results at Yongduckchun in Kimhae. The variability of water quality reaction coefficient was explored through the observed data and using the developed model. model.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to empirically verify an ePortfolio success model which shows the structural causal relationships among the basic modeling constructs. We developed the success model based on DeLone and Mclean(2003) from IS perspective and on Balaban et al(2013) from ePortfolio perspective. And we are focused on the success of ePortfolio system designed for college students and professors. Design/methodology/approach Structural equation modeling techniques were applied to data collected 375 users of the ePortfolio system, K-Folio, at least one semester during one academic year. The structural model was analyzed using a Lisrel 8.54 statistical program. Findings The followings are the findings of the study. First, the constructs of IS success model are well applied to ePortfolio for college education. Second, the proposed model which has direct causal relationships from ePortfolio's quality to performance is more significant than the D&M and Balaban's model(2013). Third, the information quality among ePortfolio quality constructs does not have effect on system usability and performance. It means that information contents' quality issued by professor or system manager is not satisfied with the students yet. Finally, by using indirect analysis of structural equation model, we found that the ePortfolio operation manager should focus on ensuring system maintenance activities and providing fast and accurate services for improving ePortfolio performance.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating roles of relationship quality, satisfaction and trust, and switching cost during the process of the effects of service quality in the beauty industry. Assuming the attractiveness of alternatives of such structural relations may differ between paths of groups, effects of influence on the relation of each composition concept were investigated. This study adopted a three-dimensional model of service quality, "process quality", "outcome quality", and "environment quality." Amos was used to analyze the research hypotheses and the proposed model. The result of the study suggests that service quality positively influences relationship quality, and relationship quality yields service loyalty. The results also indicates that relationship quality positively influences switching cost and switching cost positively influences service loyalty. Each service quality dimension had a significant effect on satisfaction, trust, and the relative importance of service quality dimensions on satisfaction; trust followed the order of process quality, outcome quality, and environment quality. The moderating variable such as the alternatives' attractiveness is found to be important moderators of the path of the model.

  • This study examines the factors influencing internet protocol television (IPTV) usage intention. Using Davis's technology acceptance model (TAM) and DeLone and McLean's model of information system success, this study investigates the effects of information system quality (information quality, system quality, and service quality) and media quality on IPTV use in terms of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and usage intention. We examined the proposed model by employing structural equation modeling and survey data from 222 IPTV users. The results indicate that information quality, service quality, and media quality had significant effects on perceived usefulness and that information quality and media quality had significant effects on perceived ease of use. However, system quality had no effect on perceived usefulness or perceived ease of use. In addition, perceived ease of use influenced perceived usefulness, and perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use influenced IPTV usage intention. Further, the stability and reliability of IPTV services encouraged IPTV use, and successful IPTV services showed high media quality.

  • The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the customer oriented quality creation by considering quality elements required by customers in the product design process. The study tried to extract attractive quality elements by using Kano's model. After identifying the elements HOQ(the house of quality) of QFD(quality function deployment) was used to identify the trend of quality elements evaluation. Test for equal means (t-test) was applied to verify the attractive quality elements of adult shoes. It made us find the customer oriented quality elements from the customer needs and latent dissatisfaction. We collected the opinions of experts on shoes and complete the cause and effect diagram and affinity diagram (KJ method). The data of the questionnaire was put to the QFD and the contents of quality elements was identified by brain storming method. We calculated indexes which were the multiplication of weight and marks of quality elements in the cross table of the HOQ by QFD. Then we tested for the equality of means between the indexes and the sum of attractive quality elements. The results for equal means were statistically significant. To create the customer quality the product design should be differentiated between the age groups over attractive quality elements.
