A study on insulation Characteristics of XLPE by various additives (다양한 첨가제에 따른 가교폴리에틸렌의 절연특성 분석)

  • XLPE is occasionally happened to deteriorate cable insulation characteristics. It is happened to do a breakdown state by the degradation of electrical characteristic and electrical breakdown strength. I prepared TR-XLPE (Tree-Retardant XLPE) as adding various additives to prevent its states. Various additives are treeing retardants, anti-oxidants. Treeing retardants three kinds of aromatic compounds as adding each additive. Anti-oxidants use quinone compound and cresol compound as adding each additive. In order to observe each electrical characteristics, I measured breakdown strength, relative dielectric constant$({\varepsilon}_r)$, dielectric loss tangent$(tan{\delta})$. TR-XLPE specimens as adding treeing retardants and anti-oxidants enhance breakdown strength, ${\varepsilon}_r$, $tan{\delta}$ than pure XLPE.

  • The emission and excitation spectra of $cis-[Cr(cyclam)(NCS)_2]NCS$ (cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) taken at 77 K are reported. The infrared and visible spectra at room temperature are also measured. The vibrational intervals due to the electronic ground state are extracted from the far-infrared and emission spectra. The ten pure electronic origins due to spin-allowed and spin-forbidden transitions are assigned by analyzing the absorption and excitation spectra. Using the observed transitions, a ligand field analysis has been performed to determine the bonding properties of the coordinated ligands in the title chromium(Ⅲ) complex. According to the results, it is found that nitrogen atoms of the cyclam ligand have a strong σ-donor character, while the NCS ligand has medium σ- and π-donor properties toward chromium(Ⅲ) ion.

  • In this article, we study the Gauss map of generalized slant cylindrical surfaces (GSCS's) in the 3-dimensional Euclidean space $\mathbb{E}^3$. Surfaces of revolution, cylindrical surfaces and tubes along a plane curve are special cases of GSCS's. Our main results state that the only GSCS's with Gauss map G satisfying ${\Delta}G=AG$ for some $3{\times}3$ matrix A are the planes, the spheres and the circular cylinders.

  • We prove convergence properties of the global solutions to the cooperative cross-diffusion system with the intra-specific cooperative pressures dominated by the inter-specific competition pressures and the inter-specific cooperative pressures dominated by intra-specific competition pressures. Under these conditions the $W^1_2-bound$ and the time global existence of the solution for the cooperative cross-diffusion system have been obtained in [10]. In the present paper the convergence of the global solution is established for the cooperative cross-diffusion system with large diffusion coefficients.

  • 救急醫學 was initiated with the emergence of mankind. 救急方 was written in the federal government and published in the state government taking orders from 世祖 to meet various needs; stabilization of public welfare, reinforcement of the royal authority, a need for a book for common use in the medical field, as well as pure interest in medicine coming from the king himself. 救急 includes not only emergencies but also rapid transitions of diseases encountered in everyday life. 救急方 successes the tradition of 鄕藥救急方 in that it helps anyone to appropriately treat emergencies. 救急簡易方, 救急易解方, and 諺解救急方 of later generations all were directly influenced by 救急方 and carried on the tradition of 救急.

  • The particle size distribution and shape are among the important parameters for characterisation of quality of metal powders. Specific material properties such as ability to flow, reactivity as well as compressibility and its hardening potentials hence the most important characteristics of sintered metals - are determined by the size distribution and shape. The correct particle size distribution and particle shape information are the key to best product quality in atomisation processes of aluminium, milling of pure metals and other processes. This paper presents state-of-the-art technology for characterization of particle size distribution and shape.

Characteristics of Cryolite as an Electrolyte for Reduction of Nd$_2$O$_3$ (네오디뮴 산화물의 전해환원시 전해질로서 빙정석의 특성)

  • An attempt was made to reduce directly Nd2O3 in a cryolited based fluoride bath. Neodymium metal was electrodeposited on the iron cathode to produce the Fe-Nd eutectic alloy in a liquid state at 90$0^{\circ}C$. Graphite was adopted for the anode and pure iron for the cathode. Electrolyte was composed of Na3AlF6 50wt.%. AlF3 34wt.% and Nd2O3 16wt.%. Analysis of typical alloy product showed Al 63.4wt.% Fe 26.9wt.% and Nd 7.0 wt.% The enrichment of neodymium in the alloy couldn't be obtained because aluminum codeposited with ne-odydmium. Experimental results proved that the cryolited based electrolyte was unstable for the electrolysis of rare earth oxides even though their prominent solubilities.

  • In this paper Hartley functions are used to approximate the solutions of continuous time linear dynamical system. The Hartley function and its integral operational matrix are first presented, an efficient algorithm to solve the Stein equation is proposed. The algorithm is based on the compound matrix and the inverse of sum of matrices. Using the structure of the Hartley's integral operational matrix, the full order Stein equation should be solved in terms of the solutions of pure algebraic matrix equations, which reduces the computation time remarkably. Finally a numerical example is illustrated to demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm.

  • The author assumes that pure liquid metal is composed of molecular oscillators whose energy states are classified into two subgroups, i.e., A and B states, each being accesible to either one of the two sorts of lattice sites. The partition function involves constants characteristic of substance, which are obtainable from the Debye characteristic temperature assigned to its solid state. Calculation has been made for the various thermodynamic properties such as the vapor pressure, the entropy, and the heat capacity of liquid metals of GroupⅠelements over the temperature range from the melting points to the boiling points. The theoretical values thus obtained are in good accordances with those observed, within experimental error, although a slight derivation is observed in the atomic heat capacity.

  • It has been investigates that electric characteristics of plasma electron beam in N$_{2}$, H$_{2}$ and Ar gas jars under various gas pressures during electron beams are formed. The results are as follows: 1)Electron beam is formed in the region of positive resistance on the characteristic curve. This phenomenon is identical in N$_{2}$, H$_{2}$ and Ar gases. 2)But in Ar gas, electron beam is formed at relatively lower gas pressure than in H$_{2}$ and N$_{2}$. 3)In pure gas either N$_{2}$, H$_{2}$ and N$_{2}$ the lower the gas pressure, the higher the voltage drop for the same electron beam current. 4)The region in which electron beam is formed is limited at a given pressure. 5)Beyond the limit mentioned above, it becomes glow discharge state and the current increases radically. 6)At a given gas pressure, electron beam voltage, that is, electrical power input increases with gap length.
