쇠고기 선택 속성의 관여도와 선호도가 구매 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Potential Effects of Consumer Preference for Beef and Involvement in the Attributes of Beef Selection on Consumers' Purchase Intentions)

  • 본 연구는 미국산 쇠고기에 대한 소비자의 선호도와 쇠고기를 선택하는데 있어서 쇠고기 관여도, 쇠고기 구매 의도 간의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 2008년 7월 11일부터 7월 13일까지 서울, 대전, 대구 지역에 위치한 대형 할인 마트 2곳을 각각 선정하여 방문한 고객을 대상으로 실시하였고, 278부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 연구결과, 소비자들은 쇠고기를 구매할 때 안전성을 가장 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났고, 지방의 양, 브랜드를 중요하지 않게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 수입산 쇠고기 중 호주산쇠고기는 소비자들에게 신뢰를 얻고 있는 것으로 나타났고, 한우 선호도와 호주산 쇠고기의 선호도는 긍정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 쇠고기 선택 속성에 대한 저관여 집단이 고관여 집단보다 미국산 쇠고기 구매 의도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 쇠고기 선택 속성에 대한 관여도가 미국산 쇠고기 구매 의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 미국산 쇠고기 선호도를 통제한 상태에서 분석을 실시한 결과, 쇠고기 선택 속성의 관여도는 미국산 쇠고기 구매 의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 쇠고기 선택 속성의 관여도와 관련성이 있는 인구통계학적 특성은 성별로 나타났고, 저관여에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 성별에 따라서 여자가 남자보다 미국산 쇠고기 선호도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

  • 정보통신기술의 발전으로 국경의 구분이 없어지고, 소비자의 니즈가 다양화되게 됨에 따라 해외직구라는 새로운 소비 형태가 등장하고, 지난 수 년간 성장세를 보이고 있다. 본 연구에서는 해외직구의 다양한 유형 중 가장 보편적인 구매대행 서비스에 대하여, 해외직구 플랫폼이 지니는 콘텐츠 속성과 물류적 속성이 소비자의 지각된 가치와 구매의도에 미치는 실증연구를 시행하였다. 해외직구와 관련한 정보탐색 경험이 있는 국내 남녀 성인 소비자 273명을 통해 자료를 수집하고, 통계적 분석을 시행한 결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 해외직구 콘텐츠 속성과 물류 속성 중 콘텐츠의 매력성만이 소비자의 지각된 가치에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 소비자의 지각된 가치는 모두 구매의도로 연결되었으나, 이들 중 감각적 가치가 더욱 큰 영향력을 지녔다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해, 해외직구 서비스 대행자들의 웹/앱 콘텐츠에서 매력성을 배가시켜야 하며, 변화한 소비자의 니즈에 맞도록 감각적 소비경험을 불러일으킬 수 있는 서비스의 질적 제고를 제안하였다.

아웃렛의 점포선택속성이 소비감정, 관계품질, 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Store Characteristics of Outlet on Consumption Emotion, Relationship Quality, and Loyalty)

  • This study is to examine the structural relationships among store choice attributes, consumption emotion, relationship quality, and loyalty of Outlet. The data were collected from customers who have purchased clothing at the fashion outlet stores, For data analysis and structural equation model were analyzed by using LISREL. The subjects were male/female consumer experienced in purchasing clothes at fashion outlet stores. The results of this study are as follows: First, product, advertising, and instore atmostphere had significantly positive effect on consumption emotion. Second, consumption emotion had significantly positive effect on relationship quality(consumer's satisfaction and trust) and loyalty. Third, relationship quality(consumer's satisfaction and trust) had significantly positive effect on loyalty.

  • With the change of construction environment, the main body of construction industry was moved from project suppliers to consumers. Accordingly in order to strengthen competitiveness, project suppliers have to concentrate on marketing for diversification. Thus, it is required to utilize real estate marketing from the beginning of development project to introduce 'consumer-centered marketing strategies' instead of 'supplier-centered marketing'. This study aims to find out what consumers consider the most important factors when selecting apartment. According to the study, when residents select their apartment in residential area, they valued those attributes with investment, location, dwelling attribute, apartment complex attribute, unit price per square meter, in order. This result will contribute to qualitative improvement of housing development project.

유통업체 상표의 구매행동에 관한 실증적 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Quality Evaluation Cues on Private Brands Purchasing Behavior)

  • 본 연구에서는 품질지각에 미치는 내재적 단서(intrinsic cues), 외재적 단서(extrinsic cues), 친숙성(familiarity)등의 품질평가 단서둘이 유통업체 상표 구매행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보 는데 목적이 있다. 실증분석 결과 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지속적인 브랜드 이미지 향상을 위해 고객의 불만사항 요구사항을 수렴하여 고객 을 충족시킬 수 있는 상품의 기획, 상품의 품질 색상 디자인 가격대를 결정하여야 할 것이다 지속적인 홍보 전략을 통해 유통업채 상표를 더욱 친숙하게 만들어야 호의적 이미 지가 창출될 것이다. 둘째, 계획구매자들은 가계의 예산에 맞께 합리적인 구매를 하기 때문에 유통업체 상표를 재구매 할 의도가 더 높다. 그리고 품질평가와 상표인식에 호의적인 구전효과를 가지고 있올 것이다. 이런 구매자들올 유지하기 위해서는 유통업체 상표구매에 대한 혜택옳 인식 시켜 주어야 할 것이다. 셋째 유통업체 상표의 주 소비층이 30$\sim$40대 주부들이고 가족수가 많아 합리적인 구매를 하며 소득은 중간수준의 소비자들로 구분할 수 있다. 이들 소비자들 을 대상으로 유통업체에서는 세분화하여 적절한 전략을 사용하여야 할 것이다.

The effects of store image components on consumers purchasing retailer brands in Korea

  • Although a huge number of academic researchers have paid considerable attention to exploring both the degree to which store image influences retailer brand customers and how to develop store personality, they have overlooked the contemporary retail context in which retailers have developed many different types of retailer brands, that is, price-oriented or quality-oriented retailer brands. Rather than focusing on the latter, much literature has looked at the former. Accordingly, even though there are many articles related to store image, a few authors have shown their interest in identifying the extent to which store personality affects customers purchasing retailer brands at lower prices. As a result, their efforts have been to illustrate the relationship between store image and consumer behaviours buying retailer brands. In that multiple retailers over the world such as E-Mart, Lotte-Mart, Tesco Korea and Tesco UK have actively introduced not only the quality-focused retailer brands that quality is better than, or equal to national brands, and prices are slightly higher than, or equal to them, but also price-focused retailer brands, academicians should make an effort to investigate how store image affects customers purchasing a quality-oriented retailer brand, comparing with previous research results. That is why the authors illustrate the extent to which store personality components influence retailer brand customers, including particularly quality-oriented retailer brand customers through an empirical research. By adopting a questionnaire method as a research technique to illuminate the relationship between store image components and retailer brand customers, research validity increases and further, data gathered through a field survey are analysed through a few statistic analysis methods, in order to minimise statistical deviations. Compared with the prior research concentrated on price-focused retailer brands, the authors have significantly shed light on customer behaviours purchasing retailer brand products with higher quality. When it comes to store personality components, the research suggests the following five items: merchandise attributes, services, physical facilities, promotions, and institutional image, considering the subcomponents mentioned by the previous research. Proposing the conceptual research model which those elements are differently hypothesised, according to retailer brand types: PR (Price-oriented Retailer brand) and QR (Quality-oriented Retailer brand), the research is proceeded. Through empirical research, the authors found that amongst the five items, only promotion influenced retailer brand customers in the Korean retailing marketplace, unlike other countries explored by many researchers, such as UK. Although much literature emphasises that those elements are closely related to retailer brand buying proneness, it is completely not fit to the Korean market. Also, research findings provide new insights into the degree of store image effects on retailer brand customers for academiciansand practitioners. Whether the retailer brand development program that a retailer has carried simultaneously both price-focused and quality-focused retailer brand types is practically profitable should be explored in the future.

한국, 중국, 미국 소비자들의 에너지 바에 대한 인식 및 소비 행동 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Perception and Consumption Behaviors of Korean, Chinese, and US Consumers for Energy bars)

  • This study evaluated the perception, consumption behavior, and optional attributes of Korean, Chinese, and U.S. consumers of energy bar products. Data were compared and analyzed by surveying 300 consumers in each country. Significant differences were observed in preference for energy bars according to their nationality, in the order China, the U.S., and Korea. Perception of taste, types and dietary suitability of the products ranked lower for Korean consumers, as compared to consumers of the United States and China. The order dietary fiber, protein, and calcium were the sought-after nutritional requirements of the products. The demand for protein was significantly higher in the U.S. Calcium demand was low in the United States and China, but was very high in Korea, which could be attributed to the low calcium intake of Koreans. Other optional attributes which were closely associated with the purchase and re-purchase decision, included price, taste and delivery period. All three factors were recognized as important options in Korea, whereas awareness of packaging/appearance and brand was not. The taste, nutrients and price in the U.S. ranked high as important optional attributes, while the packaging, external and expiration dates were recognized as low. Unlike Korea and the U.S., important optional attributes for Chinese consumers were determined in the order expiration date, taste, and nutrients, and showed low perception for packaging, appearance, weight, counts, and prices. Evaluating the preference for the main and secondary ingredients, Koreans preferred nuts over grains, Americans preferred dried fruits over nuts, and Chinese preferred nuts and grains; both Korean and American consumers had low preference for dried vegetables. The preference for chocolate was low in Korea and China, whereas preference for jelly was high in China as compared to Korea and the U.S. The intention of purchasing energy bars was significantly lower in Korea than in the U.S. and China. A variety of nutritious functional bars have recently been distributed and sold in Korea, but they are mostly produced in the U.S., which is the largest producer and consumer worldwide. Taken together, results of this study indicate that the demand for nutritional enhancement and preferred materials vary according to the nationality. Hence, it is necessary to develop products that reflect these criteria. Further research is required to analyze the relationship between preference and consumption behavior for each material product developed in the future.

경북지역 베이커리 제품 구매자의 세대별 선택속성 (A Study on the Age-Specific Choice Attributes of Bakery Product Purchasers on Gyeongbuk)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 경북지역에 거주하는 성별, 세대별 베이커리 제품 구매 선택 속성을 조사하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다 : 일반적 사항에서 남자 33.4%, 여자 66.6%로 남자보다 여자가 좀 더 높았다. 베이커리 구매 속성에서 세대별로는 20대는 미각관심형(44.7%)이고, 30~50대에서는 건강관심형(p<0.001)이었다. 베이커리 제품을 구매할 때 요인으로 맛 61.8%, 영양 17.6%, 가격 9.1%였다. 맛에 있어서 세대별로는 20대 73.9%, 30대 65.8%, 40대 55.8% 그리고 50대는 46.0%(p<0.001)였다. 베이커리 제품의 이용 형태는 프랜차이즈 베이커리 70.4%, 윈도우 베이커리 16.0%였으며, 세대별에 따른 프랜차이즈 베이커리 이용 형태는 20대 70.2%, 30대 78.1%, 40대 72.1%이고, 50대 56.0%였다(p<0.001). 베이커리 제품의 선호도에 있어서는 20대는 샌드위치류를 37.3%, 50대는 12.0% 선호하였다(p<0.001). 천연 발효빵은 20대 14.9%, 50대 37.0% 선호하였다(p<0.001).

가정간편식 제품 개발을 위한 소비자의 요구도 및 선택속성의 중요도-만족도 분석 (A Study on Domestic Consumers' Needs and Importance-Performance Analysis of Selective Attributes for Developing Home Meal Replacement (HMR) Products)

  • Purpose: This study conducted an Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) of selective attributes of Home Meal Replacement (HMR) as well as it examined the consumers' needs and willingness to buy HMR products to explore the need for developing more HMR products. Methods: This study was conducted among domestic consumers living in Seoul and its metropolitan areas, in the age range from the 20s to the 50s, and who had experience in purchasing HMR products. From the 490 surveys retrieved, 472 (96.3%) valid surveys were analyzed. Results: The analysis of the frequency of consuming HMR products showed the following results: 247 respondents answered '1-3 times a month' (52.3%); 167 respondents stated '1-2 times a week' (35.3%). With respect to the reason of purchase, 'simplicity of the recipe' was the most common, accounting for 188 respondents (39.8%), followed by 'time efficiency' accounting for 172 respondents (36.4%). Analysis of the demand for bibimbap (mixed rice) HMR products showed that 'chicken bibimbap' had the highest preference with 5.32 points, followed by 'bulgogi bibimbap' (5.08 points), and 'kimchi bibimbap' (4.96 points). In the case of HMR products that need to undergo further development, 'low-sodium products' received the highest points of 5.41 points, followed by 'small packaged products' (5.05 points), and 'functional products' (4.98 points). The factor analysis of the 13 selective attributes showed that they can be divided into 3 factors. The IPA analysis of the selective attributes of HMRs showed 'hygiene', 'taste', 'easy to go packaging', 'convenience in intake', and 'accessibility' in the 1st quadrant. In the 2nd quadrant, 'price' and 'freshness' were shown as the factors. In the 3rd quadrant, 'easy to serve', 'familiar food menu', and 'consistent menu' were shown as the leading factors, and in the 4th quadrant, 'saving labor' was the only factor. Conclusion: Based on these results, the research concludes that with respect to developing HMR products, there is a high demand for low sodium, low calorie, small packaged products; thus, showing the need to develop various HMR products for customer satisfaction. Furthermore, it shows that there is a need to consider developing HMR products that can maintain freshness at an affordable price.

구매심리과정(AIDMA)모델을 적용한 식음공간의 실내디자인요소 분석 (Analysis of Interior Design Elements in Food and Beverage Applying the Psychological Process of Purchasing(AIDMA) Model)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data that can improve added value of commercial space strategically using the identification of relationship between the process of consumers' purchasing psychology (AIDMA : Attention, Interest, Desire, Memory, Action) and elements of interior design. For this purpose, case study and survey were carried out on food and beverage spaces, where they were doing business for more than two years, were selected from the ones appeared in the interior journal "A." Based on the study, basic details including a ground plan, design summary and representative image were identified through preliminary research, and a researcher visited the target spaces and carried out a research and analysis on interior design elements. Three spaces among targets of the case study were selected to identify the relation between design elements and AIDMA items which consumers feel, and the survey was conducted on the customers of the selected food and beverage spaces. Results of the case study on the 18 food and beverage spaces showed that features of the each of AIDMA items in material and color elements were most well expressed. As a result of survey conducted on visitors of each food and beverage space, features of each item were expressed in overall design elements. In particular, space elements and color elements in "Space 1," space elements and lighting elements in "Space 2" and space elements, furniture & objet elements in "Space 3" were most well expressed in each space. There were slight differences depending on individual characteristics such as design concept, location and business operation of target food and beverage spaces but attributes of AIDMA items were remarkably recognized in common in the space elements.
