Uses and Gratifications of TV Home-shopping Channels (TV홈쇼핑 채널의 이용과 충족연구)

  • This study takes a uses and gratification theory based approach to identifying the relation between TV home-shopping channel use motivation and purchase intention. The results are summarized as follows. First, in respect of TV home-shopping channel use motivation, the analysis results reveal three factors: convenience, information seeking, and entertainment. Among these, the factor of convenience was the first in the order of importance. Secondly, 1)It is found that use motivation also has some limited influence on purchase intention. 2)Selectivity and involvement degree, the sub-categories of audience activity, are found to be the variables with the highest prediction ability, suggesting a need to give a particular attention to them. 3)In addition, viewing amount, a variable of use behavior, is shown to have a significant influence on purchase intention. The followings are the implications of the study results. First, marketing strategies that enable maximization of shopping convenience are required. Second, there is a need to approach the delivery of TV home-shopping contents as a kind of broadcasting contents on their own rather than merely a medium for selling goods.

Purchase Behaviors on Imported Fashion Luxury Brand's Bag according to the Types of Consumption Values of Female Consumers in 20's and 30's (20-30대 여성 소비자들의 소비가치 유형에 따른 해외 패션명품 브랜드 가방 구매행동)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify the consumption values of 20's and 30's female consumers, identify the differences among the consumption value groups, and analyze purchase behaviors of imported fashion luxury brands according to the consumption value types. The subjects were 518 women who purchased luxury bags. The results of the study were as follows. First, as a result of cluster analysis to classify the consumption values of 20's and 30's female consumers, 4 groups were identified as "rare and emotional pursuit group", "functional pursuit group", "fashion pursuit group", and "social and conspicuous pursuit group". Second, 4 groups showed different luxury bag purchase behaviors, such as purchase motivation, purchase selection criteria, information source, purchase frequency, purchase cost of one time, purchase cost of year, the number of possession, purchase place, and store selection criteria. Third, rare and emotional pursuit group ranked the first in terms of product, price, and store satisfaction. Therefore, consumption values were identified as the important factor suggesting purchase behaviors of female consumers in 20's and 30's.

  • Recently social commerce has become an issue in E-commerce. It was made in purpose to seek the satisfaction of consumers plan to shop attempts to boost use of social commerce. Social commerce motives and benefits and loss factors are examined the impact of purchase satisfaction. Statistical analysis was performed using the multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, economic incentives and hedonic motivations and opportunistic motivation factor had a significant effect on purchase satisfaction. Second, the benefits are psychological factors and price benefits had a significant effect on purchase satisfaction. Third, the more it feels less sense when using social commerce and economic losses, as used to feel less discomfort were higher purchase satisfaction. Finally, it was confirmed that the greater the relative benefit factors influence than the loss factor. This study is significant in that it provided meaningful data from the viewpoint of a consumer who uses social commerce sites.

  • This study started why do consumers use the counterfeit goods. We executed the pretest through the depth interview, and made an purchase motivation scale, useful satisfaction and dissatisfaction factor scale of counterfeit goods. We found out having the recognition difference of China consumers about these. The results is as follows. First, Counterfeit use motivation ostentation, economic efficiency, satisfaction, and the practicality of four was All counterfeit motivation had a significant impact on attitudes. Second, the personal satisfaction and economic satisfaction as two counterfeit satisfaction factors were Counterfeit products personal satisfaction factors showed a significant influence on the attitude. Also the purchase of counterfeit economic satisfaction had a significant positive impact. Third, counterfeit dissatisfaction factors were personal, social and material factors of dissatisfaction into three Significant influence attitude toward counterfeit products is a factor. Purchase of personal dissatisfaction factors also had a significant impact. These findings made it possible for in-depth understanding of the behavior and culture in China of counterfeit consumer use. The results of this study has provided data that can be utilized in the future counterfeits reduce the use of public awareness campaigns.

  • The objective of this study is to propose the motivation of the analysis on consumer's purchase behavior and willingness-to-pay for flower tea. Therefore, we survey the purchase behaviors on flower teas as compared with leaf teas such as green teas. We also analyze the willingness to purchase and pay for such teas. The reasons for consuming flower teas are 'flavor', 'beauty/diet', 'health', consecutively. Consumers prioritize 'safety', 'quality', 'price', and 'design' when purchasing flower teas. Nevertheless, it is also essential to consider 'flavor' as a quality factor. It is necessary to differentiate the process and marketing strategies for the development of flower teas.

  • The purpose of this study is to search shot clip' using variables influencing on the VOD purchase intention and watching intention of real-time broadcasting. This research focused on usage motivation, usage experience such as use time, time of utilization, genre, utilization pattern. Controlling demographic factors, results show that personal relation, benefit against whole broadcast, education genre, watching video, video sharing and recommendation were statistically influential to VOD purchase intention. And, results show that flexibility of use, drama/movie genre, read and write comments were statistically influential to watching intention of real-time broadcasting.

  • Companies have developed a keen interest in bolstering their CSR activities. Especially in Japan, CSR is strongly associated with social contribution and $m{\acute{e}}c{\acute{e}}nat$ activities. On the other hand, the primary purpose of companies is to provide their products and services to consumers and thereby return value to their shareholders through sales and profits. It is, however, difficult to estimate directly the relationship between CSR and sales/profits. This study focuses particularly on CSR activities related to environmental and consumer issues and community involvement and development. It is also analyzed the relationship between the degree of CSR empathy and product purchase motivation. For accomplishment the purpose, a questionnaire is designed that elicits the respondent's degree of purchase intention and empathy toward CSR activities supported through sales. The object industry for questionnaires is TV maker. For results of the questionnaire, a covariance structure analysis is conducted to understand potential relationships among CSR activities, sales, and disposable budget. Through this study, it is able to clear the relationship between CSR activities and sales/profits. It is one of the advice to future prospect, strategy and CSR concept for the companies.

A Study on Purchase Intention to Factors Related to Well-Being Food between South Korean and Chinese Consumers (한·중 소비자의 웰빙식품 관련변수에 따른 구매의도)

  • Since 1992, with the beginning of trade between Korea and China, their commercial relationship has become closer than before. As a result of better quality of life, the consumers of the two countries value well-being more the before. Thus, this paper examined the information search, awareness, purchasing motivation, and purchasing intention of well-being food of Korean and Chinese consumers, and identified the dominant factors influencing the purchasing intentions of well-being food. Firstly, the information searches of well-being food showed significant differences between the Korean and Chinese consumers. Secondly, the awareness of well-being food between the consumers of the two countries did not show significant differences. Thirdly, the results about the purchasing motivation of well-being food showed that the Chinese consumers had stronger purchasing motivation related to 'social responsibility' than that of Korean consumers, and the differences were significant. Fourthly, the results on the purchasing intentions of well-being food indicated that the Chinese consumers had greater intentions than Korean consumers. Fifthly, for the Korean consumers, the variables influencing the purchasing intentions of well-being food were the considerations of health care, purchasing motivation ('personal desire'), and the awareness of well-being food. For the Chinese consumers, the awareness of well-being food, gender (female), information search of well-being food, and education were formed the main variables.

  • In this study, we tried to find out how it affects the motivation, satisfaction, and repurchase intention of eco-friendly paper container cosmetics. To this end, a survey was conducted and a total of 190 questionnaires were analyzed. The main results are as follows: Symbolicity, aesthetics, and practicality, which are the components of purchase motivation, have a significant effect on satisfaction, and both aesthetics and practicality have a significant effect on repurchase intention. In addition, satisfaction with eco-friendly paper container cosmetics has a significant impact on repurchase intentions. Therefore, it is believed that eco-friendly paper container cosmetics marketing managers should present marketing measures that emphasize practicality, the motivation for purchasing, which has the biggest impact on satisfaction and repurchase intentions.

  • This study was to investigated why consumers buy counterfeit luxury goods, and to address questions about what was used. To this end, benefits consumers experience using counterfeit or what is profit? In addition, experience using counterfeit what is lost or dissatisfied? Based on the results of previous studies on the use counterfeit motivation, loss of use, benefits, and behavioral factors associated with motivation to learn using these counterfeit goods, benefits, and loss factor, each counterfeit product attitude and purchase intention was affects. First, the motivation for using counterfeit display, economics, satisfaction, usefulness, respectively. Counterfeiting in the attitude demonstrated motivation and quality had a significant impact. The economics of buying a counterfeit, satisfaction and quality significantly affected the motivation. Second, counterfeit benefits and economic benefits, personal benefits factor, respectively. Counterfeit goods on the attitude factor has significant effect personal benefit. Purchase of counterfeit goods, the economic and personal benefits also had a significant impact. Third, the loss factor counterfeit personal loss, quality loss, material loss, and social factors were lost. Attitude toward counterfeits were no significant factors that affect. The social cost of buying a factor had a significant impact. These findings on the behavior of consumers with counterfeit deep understanding helps. In addition, to reduce the future use of counterfeit campaign gives data that can be exploited.
