  • In this paper, the track pull-in behavior analyses in an optical disk drive (ODD) using plane phase is treated and the parameters affecting it are discussed. Track pull-in is the track capture procedure to do track following control and it is key factor to increase data transfer rate. Simulation method, Runge-Kutta method to solve nonlinear equation, is used to evaluate the track pull-in conditions, and the real servo loop parameters are applied in this process to get the more real condition. Finally, the comments for the acquired results are discussed briefly.

  • 기존에 사용되고 있는 XML 파싱 모델에는 Object 모델과 Push 모델이 있다. Object 모델은 문서내의 컨텐츠를 트리 구조로 변화하기 때문에 메모리의 사용이 않아지고 Push 모델의 경우 문서 내의 컨텐츠를 이벤트 처리하는 각각의 메서드를 이용함으로써 이벤트 처리의 지연 및 지연을 위한 메모리를 추가로 사용하는 등의 단점이 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 Pull 모델이 등장했으나 DTD를 지원하지 않음으로서 XML 문서의 유효성을 검증할 방법이 없으며 파서의 기능이 미약하다. 본 논문에서는 Visitor 패턴을 이용하여 기존의 Pull 파서들이 가지지 못하던 XML 문서의 유효성 검증문제를 해결하고, 파서에 부가적인 기능을 하는 모듈을 추가하여 Interpreter시스템으로 확장 가능한 파서를 생성해 주는 XML Pull Parser Generator를 제안한다.

  • This study represents numerical analysis on the fluid flow and concentration characteristics by scattering fume at push-pull ventilation system. And the principal point is making optimum on improve an existing ventilation system. This phenomenon simulated about local ventilation system by using commercial CFD tool and base on these fact has find improvements. Advanced model shows most low different pressure and velocity which are suction capability at inlet surface of pull hood has most uniformity. When compared with existing model, Improved model has more good ventilation performance.

  • Due to naturally formed copper oxides, the adhesion strength between copper and epoxy resin is often very poor. To improve the adhesion strength between copper and epoxy resin, Cu-based leadframe sheets were oxidized in a brown-oxide forming solution. Then the effect of brown-oxide formation on the adhesion strength of leadframe to epoxy molding compound (EMC) was studied using pull-out specimens. After the pull-out test, fracture surfaces were analyzed using SEM, AES and EDS to determine failure path. The results showed that the failure path lay over inside the CuO and inside the EMC irrespective of the pull strength.

  • 현재 XML은 HTML의 대체 마크업 언어로써 그 사용이 확대되어 지고, 또한 XML 데이터를 위한 파서 모델과 파서 구현방식에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그 연구의 결과로 벤치마킹에서 PULL모델이 빠른 파싱 속도를 나타내었고, 파서의 구현 방식에 있어서는 PULL 모델 파서인 piccolo에서 사용한 parser generator tool인 JFlex와 BYacc/J를 사용하는 방법이 기존 파서 구현 방식에서 사용하던 Hand-write 방식보다 파싱이 빠른결과 [1]를 내 놓았다. 또한 이 두 방법을 이용하여 기존의 파서 보다 파싱을 위한 시스템 설계를 제안하였다[2]. 본 논문에서는 JX-PullParser 시스템을 구현하였고, xml 파서 속도 비교 도구인 saxbench 속도 비교 도구를 사용하여 기존 파서보다 빠른 파싱 속도를 보이는 것을 입증하였다.

Delayed Lateral Row Anchor Failure in Suture Bridge Rotator Cuff Repair: A Report of 3 Cases

  • Compared to single row repair, use of lateral row anchors in suture bridge rotator cuff repair enhances repair strength and increases footprint contact area. If a lateral knotless anchor (push-in design) is inserted into osteoporotic bone, pull-out of the lateral row anchor can developed. However, failures of lateral row anchors have been reported at several months after surgery. In our cases, even though complete cuff healing occurred, delayed pull-out of the lateral row anchor in the suture bridge repair occurred. In comparison to a conventional medial anchor, further biomechanical evaluation of the pull-out force, design, and insertion angle of the lateral anchor is needed in future studies. We report three cases with delayed pull-out of lateral row anchor in suture bridge rotator cuff repair with a literature review.

  • This article describes the use of an activator with anterior high pull headgear to treat a skeletal Class II malocclusion in children in the mixed-dentition phase. A combination of headgear-activator appliance can inhibit forward and downward growth of the maxillary complex while stimulating mandibular growth. The correction of Class II malocclusion can be achieved by careful case selection of a motivated patient with a favorable growth pattern. The patients who have skeletal Class II malocclusions were treated by means of activator with anterior high pull headgear and the following results were observed; 1. Forward and downward growth of the maxillary complex were inhibited 2. Mandibular growth was stimulated and counterclockwise rotation of the mandible was observed. 3. Large overjet and deep overbite were corrected.

A Study on Behavior of Horizontal Pull-out Loaded suction pile in Sands (사질토지반에서 수평인발하중을 받는 석션말뚝에 관한 연구)

  • In this thesis the model tests were performed to the horizontal pull-out characteristics of a suction pile subjected to a pull in sands. For this model tests, soil conditions ($D_r$=65), three pile diameters (D=100, 150, 200mm) and five loading points (h/L=0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1) were changed. And the experimental results were also compared with those by the theoretical methods. The results by the experimental and theoretical analysis are as follows. The ultimate horizontal pull-out resistance by the model test increased as the loading point (h/L) moved downwards from the pile top, and the maximum value reached at the h/L=0.75. The theoretical ultimate horizontal pull-out resistance by Broms(1964) and Hong(1984) agreed well with that by the model test at h/L=0 and 0.25, but their results overestimated the experimental result at lower part of pile and the differences between the theoretical and experimental results were of great. While the horizontal loading applied at the upper part of pile, the pile moved to the horizontal direction with rotating clockwise. As the loading point moved downwards from the pile top, the rotating angle of pile was smaller.

  • We have synthesized a series of push-pull porphyrins containing both donor and acceptor substituents at the mesopositions and have examined their spectral and biological properties. The push-pull porphyrins containing both strong donor $NH_2$ and acceptor $NO_2$ at meso-positions, in which donor group condensed with the ligand, (2,6-bis(4-methylpiperazine-1-yl-methyl)-4-formlyphenol (L) to form imine linkages with porphyrin. The Schiff base ligand 5-[4-(2,6-bis(4-methylpiperazine-1-yl-methyl)-4-iminomethylphenol)phenyl]-10,15,20-tris(4-nitrophenyl) porphyrin [$an_3$(TPP)L] can be synthesized from 2,6-bis(4-methylpiperazine-1-yl-methyl)-4-formylphenol (L) and 5-(4-aminophenyl)-10, 15,20-tris(4-nitrophenyl)porphyrin. The push-pull porphyrin [$an_3$(TPP)L] was metallated to get copper, nickel and zinc complexes. The spectral, electrochemical, antibacterial, antifungal and cytotoxicity properties of all the donor- acceptor push-pull porphyrins and their complexes were characterized and studied.

  • In this thesis the model tests were performed to the pull-out characteristics of a suction pile subjected to a pull-out in sands. For this model tests, three different soil conditions ($D_r$=45, 65, 82%), three pile diameters (D=100, 150, 200mm) and three pile lengths (L=100, 150, 200mm), were changed. And the experimental results were also compared with those by the theoretical methods. The results by the experimental and theoretical analysis are as follows. The ultimate pull-out resistances increased as the relative density of sands, pile diameter, length and the ratio of pile length to diameter increased. The ultimate pull-out resistance by Meyerhof method(1973) overestimated that by the model test, but the results using the soil-pile friction angle suggested by Aas(1966) in the Meyerhof(1973) method were in good agreement with the experimental results.
