본 연구에서는 대구 근현대 출판문화를 기록화하여 보존, 이용할 수 있는 기반을 마련하기 위한 도큐멘테이션 전략의 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 Hackman의 실행모델 중 도큐멘테이션 '영역의 정의와 예비분석 단계'를 적용하였다. 예비분석 단계에서는 특정 주제를 기록화한 사례를 조사하고 대구 출판문화 기록화 관계자(연구자, 현장관계자, 기록관리요원)를 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 조사 내용은 국내 사례와 해외 사례를 '수집영역', '참여집단', '수집방법'으로 나누어 분석하였고, 면담 내용은 '대구 근현대 출판문화의 가치', '수집 대상과 방법', '도큐멘테이션 집단','어려움과 한계점'으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 이를 기반으로 도큐멘테이션 전략 요소를 제안한 뒤, 기록관리 전문요원의 의견을 수렴하여 이를 수정, 보완하였다. 전략 요소는 도큐멘테이션 목적, 시기적·지리적·형태적 영역, 집단별 역할, 참고정보원, 선행작업과 수집 및 운영의 주요 고려사항으로 구성하였다. 본 연구에서 실시한 예비분석이 대구의 출판문화를 보존하고 전승하는 기초자료가 되길 기대한다.

Recently, electronic-book (e-book) market is growing rapidly due to the evolution of information technology and e-book standard EPUB. Users can search e-book on-line and download easily to their e-book readers such as amazon's kindle or smartphones. On the other hand, there is lack of e-book contents for the reading disabled people because of high cost of making e-book accessibility for the reading disabled people. If we can translate EPUB specified e-book contents to the alternative e-book contents suitable for the reading disabled people, then there are many advantages to acquire various types and large volumes of e-book contents for the reading disabled people. This paper suggests a new electronic publishing ecosystem for the reading disabled people using e-book translation method. It also suggests a promotion strategy of e-book market for the reading disabled people.

The overall purposes of this study are to identify actions taken to counter predatory publishing practices as well as to propose an ICT-based model to detect such practices. The need to raise quantitative performance metrics to support career goals has created immense pressure on researchers to publish in the literature as frequently as possible. This "publish or perish" syndrome appears to be fueling a rise in scholarly journals and conferences that provide quicker and easier routes to publication. However, such avenues sometimes involve questionable academic practices with important ethical ramifications. One notable example is the proliferation of predatory publishing, including predatory journals and fake conferences. The widening impact of such activities is beginning to prompt academic societies, publishers, and institutions to take measures. This paper discusses the issues on predatory publishing practices, and some of the actions taken by various stakeholders to address these practices. In order to build a transparent and sustainable scholarly publishing ecosystem, this study highlights multi-dimensional and specific solutions, including reforms to research ethics codes, research management rules, and legal protection from exploitative practices. This paper proposes an ICT-based cooperative model for monitoring of predatory publishers as a potential solution to create a sustainable and transparent infrastructure for a scholarly publication system guarding against misconduct in publishing practices.

The traditional newspaper industry faces the opportunities and challenges of industry transformation and integration with new media. Consequently, the catalogs of newspapers and magazines are also updated. In this study, necessary information on catalogs was obtained and used to analyze the overall development trend of the newspaper industry. A word frequency analysis was then performed on the introduction and product categories of the catalogs, and the content and types of newspapers and magazines were examined. Furthermore, related factors such as price, number of pages, publishing frequency, and best-selling status were analyzed; the correlation among factors affecting best-selling status was also explored. Subsequently, each element and a combination of elements were used to generate a dataset, build three classification models, and analyze the accuracy of predictions of whether newspapers sold well under other circumstances. The experimental results showed that price is the most critical factor affecting the best-selling status of newspapers and magazines. Publishing frequency and the number of pages were also found to be significant indicators that impact people's subscription choices. Finally, a competitive strategy regarding content, price, quality, and positioning was developed.

초등학교 국정 교과서의 검정 전환 정책이 실시됨에 따라 2022년부터 초등 사회, 수학, 과학 교과서가 검정화된다. 본 연구의 목적은 게이미피케이션 동기 전략이 적용된 교과서가 학습자의 흥미에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구를 위해 2022년부터 검정화되는 초등 교과서가 '흥미를 유발하는 학습자 중심의 교과용 도서'로 발돋움할 수 있도록, 교과서에 '게이미피케이션' 동기 전략을 체계적으로 적용하였다. 금성출판사의 실험용 사회 교과서를 활용하여 초등학교 3학년생 121명을 대상으로 수업을 실시한 후 효과를 검증하기 위해 설문 조사와 앙케이트 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 게이미피케이션 동기 전략이 적용된 교과서는 학습자의 수업 궁금도에 큰 영향을 미쳤으며, 이외에 수업 내용 이해도, 수업 재미, 수업 도움도에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 '게이미피케이션' 동기 전략이 유효하였다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구의 의의는 실제 교과서에 게이미피케이션을 적용해 본 실증적인 연구라는 데에 있다.

최근 장애인과 일반인이 공통으로 사용가능한 통합 전자출판 포맷 출현이 예상된다. 이를 국가 대체자료 제작 전략에 적용한다면, 기존 DTD(Document Type Definition)를 이용한 대체자료 제작 전략의 문제점뿐만 아니라 수요자의 요구에 맞는 다양한 대체자료 보급도 가능할 것으로 예상된다. 이와같이 급변하는 장애인용 대체자료 제작 관리 전략의 변화에 대응하기 위해 국립장애인도서관의 주요 역할을 충분히 해내기 위해서는 '대체자료 제작', '대체자료 연구 교육', '대체자료 정보망 운영' 등 각 주요 역할을 중심으로 대체자료 관련 전문 인력으로 구성된 센터를 설립하여 전문 역량을 발휘할 수 있도록 조직을 확대 개편하여야 한다.

이 연구에서는 국내 문헌정보학 분야 4개 학회 학술지에 2002년부터 2021년까지 20년 동안 게재된 논문 전체의 저자를 분석하여 국내 문헌정보학 학술지를 통한 학술 커뮤니케이션 현황을 고찰하고 향후 전망을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해서 학술지별 공저자 수, 귀환저자 비율, 투고선호지수, 저자집단 변화 추세, 연구자 유인지수 등을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 4개 학술지의 공동연구 수준, 학술지별로 연관된 저자집단의 형성 정도, 저자집단이 변화된 변곡점, 신진 연구자 집단의 특성, 학술지 간 저자 공유 정도 등이 파악되었다. 전체적으로 2015년이 한국 문헌정보학 저자집단이 변화한 변곡점으로 나타났으며, 이후에 등장한 신진 연구자들은 주로 공동연구를 수행하면서 이전과 다소 다른 학술지 논문발표 행태를 보였다. 계량분석을 수행한 이 연구의 결과가 질적 연구방법을 사용한 선행 연구와 함께 활용된다면 한국 문헌정보학 학술지 발전 전략에 대한 다각화 연구를 수행한 효과를 거둘 것으로 기대된다.

일러스트레이션은 자연이나 사물을 다방면으로 분석하여 객관적인 미적 형상을 끄집어내는 작업이다. 이것은 주제를 보다 명확하게 시각화하여 정확한 목표대상에게 효율적으로 전하는데 목적이 있다. 특히 3-D 일러스트레이션은 다양한 재료와 복잡한 기법으로 인하여 표현자체가 난해해질 수 있는 만큼 주제를 보다 명확히 할 필요가 있다. 이를 이해서 3-D 일러스트레이션의 모든 작업은 전략에 의하여 과학적이고 합리적으로 진행되어야 한다. 본 연구는 출판 및 광고 현장에서 다양하게 활용되고 있는 일러스트레이션 중에서 3-D 일러스트레이션을 선정, 그 개념을 명확히 하고 표현전략에 의한 일러스트레이션 제작 과정을 정립함으로써 전략의 중요성을 강조하였다. 또한 효율적인 일러스트레이션 조건을 제시하여 보다 체계적이고 합리적인 3-D 일러스트레이션 표현전략 수립에 도움이 되고자 하였다

본고는 1980년대 문고본 로맨스 소설의 독자 상정과 출판 전략을 '하이틴'이라는 기호로 살펴보려 한다. 저널리즘에서 사용되었던 '하이틴'이라는 기호에 어떤 함의가 포함되어 있는지, 1980년대 문고본 로맨스 시리즈의 출판 현상을 통해 확인하는 것이 이 글의 목적이다. 문고본 로맨스 중에서도 캐나다 출판사 '할리퀸(Harlequin)'의 로맨스 시리즈의 해적판/정식판본과, 같은 독자를 상정하고 출간되었던 잡지 매체의 광고 홍보 문구를 토대로 연구를 진행하였다. 1970년대부터 대중매체는 10대 청소년을 하이틴으로 바라보고 이들을 중요한 소비주체로 호명한 바 있다. 하이틴이 교복을 입은 10대 청소년, 그중에서도 주로 여학생을 일컫는 용어였다면 1980년대 '하이틴' 역시 새로운 소비주체로 상정되었고, 출판 시장에서는 이들을 포섭하기 위한 여러 출판 전략을 내세웠다. 『하이틴 로맨스』를 비롯한 문고본 로맨스는, '하이틴'이라는 독자들을 10대 후반 여학생, 베스트셀러/밀리언 셀러에 민감한 소비주체, 사랑과 연애 이야기를 독서하는 취향을 가지며, 미·서구 문화에 호의적인 독자로 상정하였다. 1980년대 이후 문고본 로맨스 시장은 침체되었지만, 독자들은 '할리퀸' 시리즈를 수용-로컬화하여 '로맨스'라는 장르소설의 명맥을 계속해서 유지해왔다. 웹소설이라는 새로운 매체가 부상함에 따라 로맨스 장르에 대한 관심이 폭증하는 현재, 이 연구가 (여성)독자와 로맨스 독서/향유에 대한 다양한 논의를 이끌어내는 시작점이 될 것이라 기대한다.
