In this paper, we introduce Kerberos and Yaksha of an authentication scheme and propose an effectively interactive authentication scheme which improved on Kerberos and Yaksha with the public key cryptosystem in distributed systems. Also, we compare and analyse a representative Kerberos and Yakaha authentication scheme with it.
In this paper we present user authentication and key distribution using threshold PKC(Public Key Cryptosystem), which is secure against the dictionary attack. The n servers hold a t-out-of-n sharing of the dealer's secret key. When the server authenticate a user, at least f of them cooperate they can reconstruct password verifier.
Designing efficient and secure electronic payment is important for M-Commerce. In this paper, we propose an efficient Micro-payment protocol that allows multiple transactions using ID-based public key encryption-system. The proposed payword system requires to generate authenticated key generated by Weil-pairing which uses an elliptic curve cryptosystem over finite field Fq for transactions. Therefore, it is more secure in known key attacks as well as man-in-the middle attacks.

A fast image encryption system based on substitution and diffusion was proposed, which includes one covering process, one substitution process and two diffusion processes. At first, Chen's chaotic system together with an external 256-bit long secret key was used to generate the key streams for image encryption, in which the initial values of Chen's chaotic system were regarded as the public key. Then the plain image was masked by the covering process. After that the resulting image was substituted with the disturbed S-Box of AES. Finally, the substituted image was diffused twice with the add-modulo operations as the core to obtain the cipher image. Simulation analysis and comparison results with AES and some existing image cryptosystems show that the proposed image cryptosystem possesses the merits of fast encryption/decryption speed, good statistical characteristics, strong sensitivity and etc., and can be used as a candidate system of network security communication.
Certificateless public key cryptography (CL-PKC) is a new benchmark in modern cryptography. It not only simplifies the certificate management problem of PKC, but also avoids the key escrow problem of the identity based cryptosystem (ID-PKC). In this article, we propose a certificateless blind signature protocol which is based on elliptic curve cryptography (CLB-ECC). The scheme is suitable for the wireless communication environment because of smaller parameter size. The proposed scheme is proven to be secure against attacks by two different kinds of adversaries. CLB-ECC is efficient in terms of computation compared to the other existing conventional schemes. CLB-ECC can withstand forgery attack, key only attack, and known message attack. An e-cash framework, which is based on CLB-ECC, has also been proposed. As a result, the proposed CLB-ECC scheme seems to be more effective for applying to real life applications like e-shopping, e-voting, etc., in handheld devices.

As the development of quantum computers becomes visible, the researches on post-quantum cryptography to alternate the present cryptography system have actively pursued. To substitute RSA and Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem, post-quantum cryptography must also consider side channel resistance in implementation. In this paper, we propose a side channel analysis on NTRU, based on the implementation made public in the NIST standardization. Unlike the previous analysis which exploits a thousands of traces, the proposed attack can recover the private key using a single power consumption trace. Our attack not only reduces the complexity of the attack but also gives more possibility to analyze a practical public key cryptosystem. Furthermore, we suggested the countermeasure against our attacks. Our countermeasure is much more efficient than existing implementation.

Active networks represent a new approach to network architecture. Nodes(routers, switches, etc.) can perform computations on user data, while packets can carry programs to be executed on nodes and potentially change the state of them. While active networks provide a flexible network iufrastructure, they are more complex than traditional networks and raise considerable security problems. Nodes are Public resources and are essential to the proper and contract running of many important systems. Therefore, security requirements placed upon the computational environment where the code of packets will be executed must be very strict. Trends of research for active network security are divided into two categories: securing active nodes and securing active packets. For example, packet authentication or monitoring/control methods are for securing active node, but some cryptographic techniques are for the latter. This paper is for transferring active packets securely between active nodes. We propose a new method that can transfer active packets to neighboring active nodes securely, and execute executable code included in those packets in each active node. We use both public key cryptosystem and symmetric key cryptosystem in our scheme

A scalable ECC architecture with high scalability and flexibility between performance and hardware complexity is proposed. For architectural scalability, a modular arithmetic unit based on a one-dimensional array of processing element (PE) that performs finite field operations on 32-bit words in parallel was implemented, and the number of PEs used can be determined in the range of 1 to 8 for circuit synthesis. A scalable algorithms for word-based Montgomery multiplication and Montgomery inversion were adopted. As a result of implementing scalable ECC processor (sECCP) using 180-nm CMOS technology, it was implemented with 100 kGEs and 8.8 kbits of RAM when NPE=1, and with 203 kGEs and 12.8 kbits of RAM when NPE=8. The performance of sECCP with NPE=1 and NPE=8 was analyzed to be 110 PSMs/sec and 610 PSMs/sec, respectively, on P256R elliptic curve when operating at 100 MHz clock.
A key agreement protocol is the most important part to establish a secure cryptographic system and the effort to standardize the key agreement protocols is in rapid progress. Several efficient and secure key agreement protocols have been proposed so far since Diffie-Hellman proposed a public key agreement system in 1976. But, since Diffie-Hellman based key agreement protocols need a lot of computation to establish the session key, they are not suitable for wireless Internet environment. In this paper, we propose the efficient key agreement protocol using Proxy server. The Proposed Protocol gives the security equivalent to that the Diffie-Hellman based Protocol and the computation work of mobile user can be decreased using proxy server.
In this paper, we propose a suitable multiplication architecture for cellular automata in a finite field $GF(2^m)$. Proposed least significant bit first multiplier is based on irreducible all one Polynomial, and has a latency of (m+1) and a critical path of $ 1-D_{AND}+1-D{XOR}$.Specially it is efficient for implementing VLSI architecture and has potential for use as a basic architecture for division, exponentiation and inverses since it is a parallel structure with regularity and modularity. Moreover our architecture can be used as a basic architecture for well-known public-key information service in $GF(2^m)$ such as Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol, Digital Signature Algorithm and ElGamal cryptosystem.
