중노년기 여가프로그램 개발을 위한 기초연구 - 공공시설의 여가프로그램을 중심으로- (A Preliminary Study on the Development of Leisure Program for Middle-aged and Aged - Focused on the Leisure Program in the Public Community Facilities -)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affected on the leisure participation, leisure satisfaction and leisure erect of the middle-aged and the aged who were participated in the leisure programs of the public community facilities. The sample in this study consisted of 351 middle-aged and aged living in Seoul and Daegu. frequencies, means and multiple regressions were employed for the analysis. The resets of this study were as follows: The factors affected on the leisure participation were age, number of the family, residence, and tuition fee. The factors had erects on the leisure satisfaction were sex, pocket money, residence, and the access of the transportation. And, the factors affected on the leisure effect were educational attaintment, total household income, number of the family, leisure attitude, and the access of transportation. The findings suggest that the advertisement will be needed for more use of the leisure programs in the public community facilities. And the Public transportation service will help middle-aged and aged access the facilities and participate the leisure programs.

QAP상관분석을 통한 대중교통 네트워크의 구조적 특성 규명 (Structural Characterization of Public Transportation Networks based on QAP Correlation)

  • Public transportation systems play key roles in supporting dynamic activities and interaction between urban places. Especially, high efficient public transportation systems are required in order to support large traffic demands in urban areas. In this paper, we define a new metric, structural activation level (SAL), to replace the conventional transportation share ratio (TSR) measuring efficiency of public transportation systems. First of all, we access the Korea Transport Database (KTDB) and download origin-destination data by transport types to construct traffic networks with respect to transport types for each city. Then, we calculate the QAP (Quadratic Assignment Procedure) correlation between each traffic network and the total traffic network for each city to investigate SAL by comparing cities one another. The results of our investigation reveal inconsistency between TSR and SAL. In Daegu, TSR of public transportation systems is relatively low while SAL is high. In Deajeon, however, SAL is low while TSR is high. Therefore, we suggest to take into consideration SAL as well as TSR in order to investigate the degree of activation of public transportation.

Correlation Analysis between Median Household Income and LEED-Certified Public Transportation Access

  • The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System provides third-party verification for environmentally sustainable construction. But while LEED-certified buildings provide healthier work and living environments, Previous studies have shown that LEED certification does not provide any direct economic incentives to owners and developers. To address this issue, this study aims to investigate the economic benefits of LEED criteria. The objective of this study is to examine whether or not there is a significant correlation between median household income and the number of bus stops and light rail stations for a given parcel that meet LEED sustainable site criteria for public transportation access. The findings showed that the number of bus stops had a positive correlation with median household income, which means that more bus stops a given parcel had that met LEED criteria, the greater the median household income of a block group where the given parcel was located would be, though this positive correlation was very weak.

  • The objective of the study is to discuss the public value which inevitably required in the relation between city and transportation infrastructure and to suggest a public space at a transfer center which is a new type of transportation infrastructure. There has been little discourse on the public value of existing transportation infrastructure in the field of landscape architecture. Through this study. re-think of urban infrastructure from landscape architectural point of view will be examined. Through this study, three main considerations will be reflected in designing a transfer center, First, in a broad context, possibility of landscape architectural access toward transportation infrastructure should be considered. Secondly, unique characteristics of the transfer center system will be reflected on design process. Lastly, by analysing the site context of Dobongsan station P&R, design issues will be emerged. Transportation infrastructure is a field of urban life where people gather, exchange and do diverse activities. Design of transfer center through landscape architectural approach will be a meaningful reaction to the needs of public space in the urban infrastructures.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the factors affected on the leisure participation leisure satisfaction and leisure effect of the middle-aged with those of the aged who were paticipated in the leisure program of the public community facilities. the sample of he study consisted of 218 midle-aged and 163 the aged living in Seoul and Daegu. Frequencies means ,$x^2$,T-test and multiple regression were employed for the analysis. The results of this study were as follows; The middle-aged had more positive leisure attitude than the gaged less leisure participation and more leisure satisfaction. The factors affected one he leisure participation of the middle-aged were region and fee and those of the aged were region leisure attitude and fee. The factors affected on the leisure satisfaction of the middle-aged were number of the family region and the access of the transportation as compared with those of the aged were sex health status and the access of transportation. And the factors had effects on the leisure effect of the middle-aged were sex educational attainment number of the family the access of transportation and fee comparing with those of the aged were educational attainment and leisure attitude.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affected on the perception of appropriateness and the evaluation of physical state in the public community facilities. The sample of the study were consisted of 381 middle-aged and the aged who were participated in the leisure programs of the public community facilities and were living in Seoul and Daegu. Frequencies, means, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression were employed for the analysis. The results of the study were as follows: The perception of appropriateness and the evaluation of the physical state in the public community facilities were differed by the type of facilities. The factors affected on the perception of appropriateness of the public community facilities were region, the access of transportation, and leisure attitude of the middle-aged and the aged. The factors had effects on the evaluation of the physical state of the facilities were educational attainment, health status, region, the access of transportation and the leisure participation.

서울시 역세권의 TOD환경과 대중교통이용수요 관계분석 (An Empirical Analysis on Public Transportation Demand and TOD Design Factors in Seoul subway adjacent area)

  • 최근 대중교통지향형개발(TOD)이 활발해지며, 역세권의 환경 변화를 통하여 국내의 대중교통 이용 증진을 시키기 위해서는 TOD 통합계획요소를 종합적으로 고려한 역세권 유형과 이용수요에 관한 실증분석이 전제되어야 향후 계획수립시 활용이 가능 할 것이다. 본 연구는 서울시 역세권을 대상으로 다양한 TOD 영향요인을 파악하고, 대중교통 이용수요와 연관성을 규명하기 위한 실증분석을 진행하였다. TOD의 대표적 요소인 Density, Diversity, Accessibility에 대한 자료를 수집하고, 요인분석과 회귀모형을 구축하였다. 분석결과 (1) 요인분석을 토대로 7개 영향요인이 도출되었으며, Factor 1(Diversity/토지이용복합도 (LUM)), Factor 2(Density/개발밀도수준), Factor 3(Accessibility/대중교통시설공급수준), Factor 4(Design/가로설계수준), Factor 5(Green/연계교통시설(보행자, 자전거), Factor 6(Design/지하철시설규모), Factor 7(Accessibility/대중교통운영수준)로 유형화되었다. (2) 요인-회귀분석 결과를 토대로 역세권 승하차 인원에 긍정적(+) 영향을 미치는 주요 요인은 Factor 1(Diversity : 토지이용복합도(LUM) 요인), Factor 3(Accessibility : 대중교통시설공급수준), Factor 2(Density : 개발밀도수준), Factor 5(Design/연계교통시설(보행자, 자전거), Factor 6(지하철시설규모)로 나타났다. 다음으로 역세권의 승하차 인원에 부정적(-) 영향은 Factor 7(Accessibility/대중교통운영수준)로 나타났으며, 가장 높은 영향력을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 지하철과 버스의 배차간격이 증가할 경우 이용수요가 감소하기 때문이다.

한국 중년의 대중교통 만족도에 따른 체질량지수에 대한 걷기 일수의 매개효과 (The Mediating effect of Public Transportation Satisfaction on Body Mass Index according to Walking days in Korea middle aged)

  • 본 연구는 2015년 지역사회건강조사 자료를 사용하여 한국의 40~59세 중년의 대중교통 만족도에 따른 체질량지수(BMI)에 대한 걷기 일수의 매개효과를 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 중장년층의 일상적인 걷기활동 지원 및 증진을 위한 근린환경의 제공, 걷기활동 지원 프로그램 마련에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 지역사회건강조사 원시데이터의 228,558명 중 사용변수에 대해 결측값을 제거하고 40~59세 중년 85,344명을 최종분석 대상자로 선정하였다. 종속변수는 체질량지수(BMI)로 대중교통 만족도를 독립변수로 걷기 일수가 매개효과가 있는지에 대해 자료의 분석은 R 3.4.1로 시행하였다. Sobel test로 매개효과를 검증해 본 결과 대중교통 만족도가 증가하면 걷기 일수는 B=.010(p=.010)만큼 증가하였고, 대중교통 만족도가 증가하면 체질량지수는 B=-.052(p=.021)만큼, 걷기 일수는 B=-.038(p=.001) 감소하였다. 이에 따른 대중교통 만족도와 체질량지수에 대한 걷기 일수의 매개효과는 Sobel z=2.300(p=.021)로 대중교통 만족도가 증가하면 걷기 일수가 증가하고, 그로 인해 체질량지수가 감소하는 매개효과가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 대중교통 만족도를 높여 대중교통 이용을 증가시킴으로서 걷기 일수를 증가시키고 체질량지수를 감소시키기 위해서는 고찰에서 언급했던 대중교통 만족도 중 대중교통 요금의 적절성과 접근편리성을 지금 수준보다 더욱 향상시켜야 한다. 아직까지는 수도권이나 대도시를 벗어나 중소도시로 가게 되면 대중교통으로 목적지에 도달하는 것이 불편한 경향이 나타나므로 건강을 향상시키기 위해서는 대중교통 시스템의 개선이 필요하다.

스마트카드 빅데이터를 이용한 서울시 지역별 대중교통 이동 편의성 분석 (Analysis of Regional Transit Convenience in Seoul Public Transportation Networks Using Smart Card Big Data)

  • In public transportation, smart cards have been introduced for the purpose of convenient payment systems. The smart card transaction data can be utilized not only for the exact and convenient payment but also for civil planning based on travel tracking of citizens. This paper focuses on the analysis of the transportation convenience using the smart card big data. To this end, a new index is developed to measure the transit convenience of each region by considering how passengers actually experience the transportation network in their travels. The movement data such as movement distance, time and amount between regions are utilized to access the public transportation convenience of each region. A smart card data of five working days in March is used to evaluate the transit convenience of each region in Seoul city. The contribution of this study is that a new transit convenience measure was developed based on the reality data. It is expected that this measure can be used as a means of quantitative analysis in civil planning such as a traffic policy or local policy.

압축도시 개발이 대중교통을 이용한 통근 통행에 미치는 영향 -한국의 54개 중소도시를 대상으로- (The effects of compact city development on public transportation commuting -The cases of 54 medium and small-sized cities in korea)

  • 본 연구는 한국의 54개 중소도시를 대상으로 압축도시 이론에서 주장하는 고밀개발, 혼합적인 토지이용과 같은 계획 요소들이 실제 대중교통을 이용한 통근 통행에 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 토지이용 변수들 중에서는 인구밀도와 직주균형비가 높을수록 대중교통 통근률이 높아지는 것으로 나타난다. 이와 같은 결과는 압축도시 계획 이론에서 주장하는 바와 같이 밀도 수준이 높아질 경우 대중교통 서비스를 유지하는데 있어 유리하고 또한 토지를 복합적으로 이용함으로써 직장을 포함한 다양한 활동들에 대한 접근성이 높아지기 때문에 자동차 이용이 줄어들고 대중교통 이용이 많아지는 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 대중교통을 이용한 통근 통행을 활성화하기 위해서는 고밀개발과 함께 직주균형과 같은 복합적인 토지이용을 유도하는 도시 정책이 요구된다. 또한 교통서비스 시설들 중에서는 도로 밀도와 지하철 유무가 대중교통 통근률에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타나는데, 이는 대중교통 이용률을 높이기 위해서는 먼저 효율적인 대중교통 서비스의 확충이 전제되어야 함을 보여준다. 따라서 대중교통 통근률을 높이기 위해서는 고밀 복합적인 토지이용 정책의 추진과 함께 지하철과 같은 대중교통 서비스시설에 대한 투자가 함께 이루어져야 한다.
