A Study on Fabrication of Fluidic Devices using Stereolithography Technology (Stereolithography 기술을 이용한 유체소자 제작에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we fabricated fluidic devices like micro-channel, pump, mixer and particular gas separator with the technology of stereolithouaphy using RP(rapid-prototyping). The fabricated fluidic devices are expected to be applied to develop Lab-on-a chip type liquid analyzer. Stereolithography technology seems effective for fabricating MEMS(Micro Electro Mechanical System) with complicated structure because it makes three dimensional fabrication possible but, exclusive devices are needed to be developed fur fabricating even more microscopic MEMS structure.

  • SFFS(Solid Freeform Fabrication System) is commercializing to rapid prototyping concept in foreign some corporations including the U.S.A, have much technological problems yet and need new mode for agile prototyping. In this paper, we design algorithm that the cutting path of laser beam, on the SFFS(Solid Freeform Fabrication System), is controlled with constant speed. The designed algorithm for constant-speed path control is implemented and experimented in the CAFL$\^$VM/ (Computer Aided Fabrication of Lamination for Various Material) system, the new SFFS which was developed in this paper.

  • Rapid Prototyping(RP) systems, that fabricate objects with slicers, typically bear staircase artifacts when slices has a certain degree of thickness. A tangential cutting algorithm is developed in order to remove surface distortion as well as to generate smooth laser-cutting trajectory. For this, an energy function is defined with tangential line length and distance between tangential line and middle contour. Then, the energy is minimized to generate effective tangential line segments. The proposed algorithm is tested and verified on 3D object samples and the results show that the generated tangential lines effectively approximate layer surface and make laser trajectory smooth.

In this paper, the burning condition for getting casting product of resin pattern have been examined experimentally. In generally, the burning conditions have effect on the casting products. Using the direct casting. we directly producted the jewelry.

  • In this research an induction motor vector control system was developed using Simulink and RTW(Real Time Workshop). On the Simulink window, control system is designed in the form of block diagrams, program codes are produced automatically with the RTW, then c compiler compiles the program codes. With this automatic real time program producing mechanism rapid prototyping is realized without the time-consuming manual program coding procedures. To show effectiveness of the proposed designing scheme a DSP-based induction motor vector control system was constructed and implemented

  • 산업,기술계에서 어떤 기계부품이 직접 제조되기 전에 샘플용으로시험 제작하여 부품의 형상, 디자인, 금형제작 에 관한 제반사항을 미리 알아보는 것은 제품의 정확한 형상이 나오도록 하는데 아주 중요하다. Rapid Prototyping( 급속입체표현)은 설계자의 의도를 실제성형물로서 제품개발 초기단계에서 빠르게 제작, 검증할 수 있으며, CAD/CAM 통합에의한 자동생산체제를 응용하여 Concurrent Engineering에도 적용 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 위의 Rapid Prototyping을 위한 형상 제작기법중의 하나인 StercoLithography를 이용한 3차원 입체형상의 제작을 위해 반드시 필요한 Supprot Algorithm에 대하여 연구하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose software architecture for conveying contents-based OpenSound Control (OSC) packet from manipulation user interface to cooperative remote multi-robots. The Flash application is used as a controlling user interface and the physical prototyping of multi-robots were developed using physical prototyping toolkit.
