  • Purpose: The online distribution channel has attracted the attention of retailers by potential impact on consumers' purchase intention. The objectives of this study are to provide an insight into how to encourage consumers' impulse buying behavior on commercial website as well as attempts to reveal factors that influence consumers' impulsive buying behavior in the online shopping environment. Research design, data and methodology: The research framework is based on the stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) framework. The Meta-analysis method carried out the research, gathering data from 37 published studies. Results: The research findings suggest that intrinsic motivations such as perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, and online flow experience play a significant role in boosting consumers' hedonic value when buying and online. In addition, these findings help online retailers use appropriate marketing stimuli such as offering pricing incentives, promotion tactics, and improved communication effectiveness. Also, obtaining a better grasp of how to build a website to improve the consumer experience generally helps consumers feel the urge to buy impulsively and act without hesitation. Conclusions: This research confirms a direct positive relationship between marketing stimuli and hedonic shopping value, which may support an applied theoretical framework for future research and provide managerial implications for retailers in online distribution channels.

  • This study is to explore the ways to increase the export performance of start-up companies, as opportunities are rising along with more companies entering the global market. Thus the study analyzed the factors affecting export performance of the start-up company by mainly looking at the international marketing capabilities of enterprises type of marketing strategy and internal environmental capabilities. The following were derived as factors for marketing 4P strategy: innovation of product, flexibility of export price, differentiation of distribution channels, diversity of promotional activities, and positive-ness of promotion. For internal capabilities of enterprises, innovation of CEO, initiative of CEO, risk susceptibility of CEO, information power of export market, and information power of competitor were derived as factors. Two types of performances were considered for export performance, financial and non-financial. Among innovation of product and risk susceptibility of CEO the non-financial performance of export performance, and only differentiation of distribution channels of marketing 4p strategy the financial performance. It showed that since performance was different depending on the entrepreneurship of the CEO, only innovative products differentiated from small and medium enterprises. risk susceptibility of CEO increased export outlook by corporate acknowledgment and image, creation of potential customers, and financial performance affected only differentiation in distribution channel rather than entrepreneurial spirit, information power, or organizational flexibility because of short business career and insufficient period enough to gain trust. Therefore, start-up companies need to improve their non-financial export performance by increasing innovation of product and risk susceptibility of the CEO. The companies need to widen the differentiation of distribution channels in the financial export performance.

  • Purposes: The purposes of this study were to investigate the smoking cessation counselling activities among community health practitioners(CHP) and to identify the predictors of their smoking cessation counselling activities. Method: A descriptive-correlation study using self-administered questionnaires was conducted. Questionnaires were mailed to all the CHP in a community. A total of 330 CHPs participated in this survey. Results: Of the CHPs surveyed, 245(74.2%) returned completed questionnaires. Most CHPs(90.7%) believed that if a health professional advises their patient to quit, the patient's chances of quitting smoking are increased. While the majority of CHPs “asked, advised, and assessed” their clients, a minority of CHPs “assisted, arranged, and recorded”. In the final stepwise multiple regression model, attitude about smoking cessation policies and counselling activities, self-efficacy of smoking cessation counselling knowledge and skills, and perceived barriers of smoking cessation counselling activities were identified as significant predictors of smoking cessation counselling activities among CHPs. Conclusion: Smoking cessation counselling activities are not a routine part of CHP practice. Efforts should be made to increase the self-efficacy of smoking cessation counselling knowledge and skills among CHPs. Helping CHPs to overcome their barriers to smoking counselling may open up new channels for smoking intervention.

Hence, this study has proposed ways to enhance the demand for jujube processed foods and will help prepare the ground for efficient marketing strategies, based on the survey result on the pattern in which customers in Korea purchase jujube-processed foods. The conclusion for this study has been derived by researching the relevant literature and analyzing the relevant company data and customer survey results. The study implies the following points regarding enhancing the demand for jujube-processed foods. First, long-term solutions are necessary. These may include establishing a technological system that can produce various foods processed from jujubes, and improving the customer accessibility in accordance with the changes in the retail environment. • As the number of TV channels rapidly grows, the systematic marketing and PR communication of broadcasters are becoming more and more important. To overcome the challenges the sharply increased competition poses, TV stations ave to intensify their strategic marketing efforts. This paper analyses the editorial information aired about the broadcasters and their TV programming as part of the PR efforts made. This present research project is based on one week periods of analysis of TV programming produced and aired by German broadcasters. The program analysis of the five TV channels included in this study revealed a total of 406 cases in which editorial references were made. The result shows no systematic differences between the public and commercial Broadcasters. Channel-specific differences are, however, obvious. PR communication embedded in the regular programs is increasingly tied to media organization and frequently occurs in the reporting of journalistic content. The high number of promotions as part of informational, and even more so as part of magazine and news formats, must be viewed as problematic. Program related branding and the specific tools used to promote the programs provided further evidence regarding the importance of media economic factors. TV channels not only promote their own programs, but also those of affiliated stations, and the increasing influence of economic considerations will have long-range consequences on the variety and quality of the journalistic output. The study furthermore revealed that TV channels utilize program promotion at any time of the day.
