While artificial intelligence (AI) is attracting attention as a core technology in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, needs for artificial intelligence education to cultivate AI literacy is emerging. In this regard, we developed and applied a project-based AI education program for elementary and middle school students, and analyzed its effects. Participants were assigned into teams with three members, and each team engaged in a project-based AI education program for two nights and three days. In the project, they selected an real-world problem they wanted and devised an AI-enabled artifact to solve it. The effectiveness of the program was investigated with the changes in attitude and efficacy of learners toward artificial intelligence. The results showed that the AI project learning positively changed both attitudes and efficacy toward artificial intelligence at a statistically significant level. This change was more pronounced as the level of perceived programming skills increased, and the level of interest in the project learning increased.

Normally, people think the results of engineering design project can be seen and be touched, however, it's not easy to develop such design subjects at IT related program. This matter turns into an initiative of Seoul Accord corresponding to the Washington Accord. In this paper, an engineering design project is developed from the lecture course that can hardly develop a touchable project due to the lack of expanse or the own characteristics of the course in the IT related program that follows the Washington Accord. An open-ended design project with the pre-defined design components and realistic constraints is developed for the Computer Network Design course. Each team consisted of 2 or 3 students performs the project for more than 5 weeks utilizing a software simulator, the Packet Tracer. In order to analyze the effectiveness, we have used various evaluation tools such as final presentation, peer evaluation, survey results, and mid/final exams. We concluded that the hard and soft skills of students have been improved considerably through the project.

The production process of construction industry is different from thing of the general manufacturing, likewise various participants make temporary teamwork for success of the project through sharing of information. But, the each role of participants is Individually changed to step in construction process stage and moreover it has complicated, entangled interests. The CM(so it called Construction Management as an abbreviation word) system was inducted for the effective management and operation of construction project. The key of the CM success depends on the cooperative relationship relation to major participants. There are lots of studies and efforts for the performance measures of the CM, however existing performance index is only measured as the viewpoint of project owner. Therefore it needs to make up for balanced view through combination of the four-way view of participants. In this study, we should search for cooperative relationship of project participants, and then we should suggest to define the difference of project in their viewpoints.

Purpose: Children in migrant villages in Kyrgyzstan have a high incidence of anemia and need effective health promotion programs. The purpose of this study was to evaluate a pilot study of a health promotion project for infants and toddlers based on community participation. Methods: This was a retrospective study conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the project. The project was carried out by nurses at a public health center, community health workers, and local residents in a migrant village. After the operational system of the project was established, health assessments, child-care education, provision of vouchers for iron supplements, and activities to improve residents' awareness were conducted during 6 months among 100 children, of whom 85 were finally analyzed. Results: In international health projects, close cooperation of the project team with community residents and health workers is important. Access to the community-based program was feasible in the socially and economically poor migrant village, and improvements were shown in children's anemia and awareness of health care. Conclusion: By focusing on the effective aspects of this preliminary project, plans to utilize community health workers and promotion strategies can be added to the main project to improve health promotion among children in this area.

In the light of the strategic utilization of the national R & D projects, this paper is to induce the spin-off strategies to improve the national R & D effectiveness through analyzing the spin-off characteristics of nuclear technologies, the spin-off status of the advanced countries and the case study of Korean nuclear spin-offs. Spin-off process is viewed as a three-stage operation, such as preparation stage, implementation stage and maintenance stage. In order to find the correlation between the influencing factors and spin-off effectiveness, the Spearman's correlation coefficient was employed as a specific statistical technique. By integrating this correlation, spin-off process and spin-off strategies, this paper presents an efficient framework to improve the spin-off effectiveness.

Purpose - This paper discusses the effectiveness of EcoFarmer in Zimbabwe. The effectiveness of EcoFarmer still needs to be established because it is a new product that is hardly a month old. Research design, data, and methodology - The paper follows a qualitative research methodology and an exploratory approach to establish the effectiveness of EcoFarmer in the promotion of productivity in the agricultural sector in Zimbabwe. Using an Internet-based literature review, the paper explored the link that exists between Econet's EcoFarmer program and agricultural development in Zimbabwe. Results - The findings are that the innovation promotes agricultural productivity. This is in line with what was established by Safaricom Foundation in Kenya. Conclusions - The paper used literature sources because the phenomenon is exploratory. This limitation could have been avoided by using a field survey. The paper shows that the EcoFarmer is an innovative project that was developed by Econet as a replication of the Kenyan program.

In order to find out the reason about the doubt, we should understand the present situation, and consider what countermeasure shall we take. It's obvious that if there is no doubt about the effectiveness and availability for quality system authenticated and verified by the international, then all the authentication can be made from that excellent system. In that case, it is necessary to find out whether it only exists in Korea or it generally exists internationally. This thesis considers the problems and try to search for a system management project and measure which is suitable for Korea.

Currently, many universities are implementing software-oriented universities and artificial intelligence-oriented universities to foster software-oriented manpower. We are educating students to design and produce computational thinking and coding directly with their major knowledge. However, computer education is not easy for non-majors, and there are many difficulties in coding. The results of responses from 104 students from the College of Health Sciences and College of Social Management who took the liberal arts computer at University H were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 version. In the liberal arts computer class for non-majors, a PJBL-based class plan was proposed. The effectiveness of PJBL-based classes was confirmed through a questionnaire for the improvement of artificial intelligence liberal arts courses. As a result, PJBL-based education showed statistically significant results in terms of satisfaction, effectiveness, and self-efficiency of classes regardless of major.

The major objective of this research is to evaluate performance of improved intersections for response time to emergency vehicle preemption. Smart technologies have been introduced to civil infrastructure systems for resilient communities. The technologies need to evaluate their effectiveness and feasibility to confirm their introduction. This research focuses on the performance of emergency vehicle preemption, represented by response time, when smart intersections are introduced in a community. The response time is determined by not only intersections but also a number of factors such as traffic, distance, road conditions, and incident types. However, the evaluation of emergency response has often ignored factors related to emergency vehicle routes. In this respect, this research synthetically analyzes geospatial and incident data using each route of emergency vehicle and conducts before-and-after evaluations. The changes in performance are analyzed by the impact of smart intersections on response time through Bayesian regression models. The result provides measures of the project's performance. This study will contribute to the body of knowledge on modeling the impacts of technology application and integrating heterogeneous data sets. It will provide a way to confirm and prove the effectiveness of introducing smart technologies to our communities.
