  • In order to simulate OLED evaporation process, modeling of directional distribution of the vaporized organic materials, film thickness distribution profile and pattern-mask shadow effect are required In accordance with many literatures; all of them except shadow effect modeling are studied and developed. In this paper, modeling algorithm of evaporation shadow is presented for process simulation of full-color OLED evaporating system. In OLED evaporating process the offset position of the point cell-source against the substrate rotation axis and the usage of the patterned mask are the principal causes for evaporation shadow. For geometric simulation of shadow using z-map, the film thickness profile, which is condensed on a glass substrate, is converted to the z-map data. In practical evaporation process, the glass substrate is rotated. This physical fact is solved and modeled mathematically for z-map simulation. After simulating the evaporation process, the z-map data can present the shadow-effected film thickness profile. Z-map is an efficient method in that the cross-sectional presentations of the film thickness profile and thickness distribution evaluation are easily and rapidly achieved.

  • This study deals with the TE(Transmission Error) of gear tooth profile by modifying a profile and lead of a surface of tooth. First, we experimentally confirmed that the TE is a synthesis of the sliding velocity between both gears. Since various types of TE appear in the experiments, we introduced definition of transmission error and the optimism design by modifying a surface parameters. The test stand's performance is then evaluated through a series of multiple torque transmission error tests. Comparisons are made between data recorded before and after the test stand's redesign, and subsequently repeatability studies are performed to verify the veracity of the measured data. Finally, the experimental results are compared to the analytical predictions of two different gear analysis programs.

  • In this paper, It does the profile measurement of the cam of diesel engine SOHC of the actual object. It uses the measurement of run-out method. This method is that the surface of the object is measured by the sensor when the object rotate, and calculated and displayed by the computer the signal which acquired by sensor. When we acquire the signals, we have two error because of motion and contacting between cam and probe. In this paper, we compensate the motion error while simply liner equation. And we have a solution that we change the figure of probe when we have a contacting error. We compared the data measuring on developed automatic cam profile measuring system with the data measured on CMM.

  • The purpose of this research is to explore the possible relationship between the successful implementation of knowledge management technology and specific organizational culture orientations. Data used to test hypothesis derived for this research were obtained from 227 responders from the Organizational Culture Profile (OCP) survey instruments and 67 responders from the Knowledge Management Technology Profile (KMTP) survey instruments representing 26 separate organizations. The OCP provides a profile of an organization's culture orientations while the KMTP provides a profile of the organization's degree of the KM technology implementation success. The results of this research suggests that employees of organization which are more successful in implementing KM technology have identified organizational cultures that embody a healthy mixture of both production-oriented and people-oriented attributes indicative of the culture orientation.

  • Recently measurements of atmospheric trace gases from satellite are vigorous. So the development of its data processing algorithm is important. In this study, retrievalof vertical ozone profile from the atmospheric transmittance measured by satellite solar occultation method and its sensitivity to temperature and pressure are investigated. The measured transmittance from satellite is assumed to be given by the limb path transmittance simulated using annual averaged Umkehr data for Seoul. The limb path transmittance between wavelengths $9.89{\mu}m$ and $10.2{\mu}m$ is simulated with respect to tangent heights using the ozone data of HALOE SIDS(Hallogen Occultation Experiment Simulated Instrument Data Set) as an initial profile. Other input data such as pressure and temperature are also from HALOE SIDS. Vertical ozone profile is correctly retrieved from the measured transmittance by onion-peeling method from 50km to 11km tangent heights with the vertical resolution of 3km. The bias error of $\pm0.001$ in measured transmittance, the forced error of $\pm3K$ in each layer temperature, and the forced $\pm3%$ error in each layer pressure are assumed for sensitivity tests. These errors are based on the ADEOS/ILAS error limitation. The error in ozone amount ranges from -6.5% to +6.9% due to transmittance error, from -9.5% to +10.5% due to temperature error, and from -5.1% to +5.4% due to pressure error, respectively. The present study suggests that accurate vertical ozone profile can be retrieved from satellite solar occultation method. Accuracy of vertical temperature profile is especially important in the retrieval of vertical ozone profile.

  • KEPCO's AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) is a system that performs the real-time inspection and management of the 15-minute load profile of electric power consumption through a wired and/or wireless network such as CDMA. It has been utilized widely for real-time collection and data analysis. So far, KEPCO has focused on establishing wireless networks using CDMA and collecting data in real time but failed to consider sufficiently performances that can improve the quality of the original data required in terms of data utilization as well as establish the summary information. In this paper, we are going to show the functions that improve data quality by recording the final renewal time of any erroneous data and maintaining such data lists to use them in the rebuilding of summary information. The goals are to reduce any load applied mainly on the DBMS (Database Management System) of AMR, to enable the real-time performance of establishment in the summary information, and to obtain high-quality inspection data. The performance evaluation result has revealed a 10-fold improvement compared to the traditional disk-based DBMS system when the summary information is established.

  • So far, the behaviors of Web users have been predicted or analyzed mostly by their demographic characteristics or by considering in which context they gain access to that. But now there is a question about whether those characteristics are the only factors to trigger their use of Web. If the answer is not affirmative, what types of additional factors could cause such an action and how they characterize it should be discussed. User profile information has been considered one of the crucial elements to define user characteristics in user-centered UI design sector, and in order to apply it to UI design, it's needed to meditate on the above-mentioned questions. In this study, it's first attempted to have a good understanding of the users of different media and to review existing user classification methods. Next, user classification variables and relevant scales were prepared to sort out users according to their type of using Web, and case study was conducted to identify the behavioral characteristics of users and classify them according to their behavioral features. Finally, the user profile features of individual user groups were figured out based on data that were gathered by making an experiment, and data mapping was fulfilled between the behavioral characteristics and user profile characteristics to find out what types of behaviors were caused by the characteristics of user profile. As a result, it's found that user characteristics could have an impact on not only their general information and relevant contexts but their attitude of using different media and personality type. There were some problems with the experimental design, but more accurate information on the relationship of user behaviors to user profile characteristics will be obtained if those problems are eliminated. As user behaviors could be predicted only by user profile characteristics, user classification is expected to make a contribution to enhancing the efficiency of UI design.

  • Data mining is the task of accessing useful information from a large capacity of data. It can also be referred to as searching for correlations that can provide clues about the future in large data warehouses by using computer algorithms. It has been used in the tourism field for marketing, analysis, and business improvement purposes. This study aims to analyze the tourist profile in Turkey through data mining methods. The reason relies behind the selection of Turkey is the fact that Turkey welcomes millions of tourist every year which can be a role model for other touristic countries. In this study, an anonymous and large-scale data set was used under the law on the protection of personal data. The dataset was taken from a leading tourism company that is still active in Turkey. By using the k-means clustering algorithm on this data, key parameters of profiles were obtained and people were clustered into groups according to their characteristics. According to the outcomes, distinguishing characteristics are gathered under three main titles. These are the age of the tourists, the frequency of their vacations and the period between the reservation and the vacation itself. The results obtained show that the frequency of tourist vacations, the time between bookings and vacations, and age are the most important and characteristic parameters for a tourist's profile. Finally, planning future investments, events and campaign packages can make tourism companies more competitive and improve quality of service. For both businesses and tourists, it is advantageous to prepare individual events and offers for the three major groups of tourists.

  • The radar backscattering coefficients of soil surfaces with various roughness conditions are computed at first in this paper. The roughness parameters for various surface-profile lengths are also obtained. Then, the relationship between the radar backscattering coefficients and the profile length is studied. It was shown that the effect of the profile length is negligible on the backscattering coefficient, even though the roughness parameters vary a lot with the length of the surface profile.
