Free-talking in Korea has recently been emphasized as a way of improving students' speaking ability outside of the classroom. The purpose of this study is to examine perceptions of free-talking, to understand what type of roles were played by or allotted between Korean students and international professors (IPs) and to look for effective speaking strategies for utilizing free-talking. Participants of this study were 68 university students and 23 IPs. The data collected through a survey type of questionnaire were analyzed by this researcher and the main findings indicate that students and IPs have somewhat different viewpoints about their concepts of free-talking. Students expressed varying viewpoints depending on their experience and class (year). In terms of the benefits, usefulness, and satisfaction of free-talking, students and IPs seem to be in more agreement with each other although the two groups have conflicting perceptions in the particular operation of free-talking, especially in terms of preparation and feedback. Students stated that they feel anxious, nervous, and that they struggle with peer pressure while free-talking. However, they feel that through free-talking they build up confidence and increase their speaking ability. Regarding roles, most professors play a helpful role as a guide or facilitator while students want professors to provide more suitable materials and to tutor them by means of appropriate feedback and strategies as well-prepared teachers like a prompter, participant or tutor in the timely manner. Finally, this paper proffers a few practical suggestions for activating free-talking and a discussion of the pedagogical implications.

Most of universities have carried out course evaluation to improve students's satisfaction for the established lecture and apply the performance appraisal for professor. But, course evaluation depends on many variables such as class size, type of lecture, evaluator's grade and so on. As the results, such variables lead to serious bias which makes lecturers distrust the course evaluation results. In this paper, we compare some equating methods for the course evaluation and the efficiencies for some equating methods. And we will recommend one of them which has best efficiency. Also we give the example to which the method is applied.
This study investigated the usage of child hospital gowns to suggest a gown design suitable for child inpatients in Korea. The satisfaction on size suitability and design of child hospital gowns was surveyed among 219 child inpatients in 20 general hospitals. The most hospitals provided 2 to 4 different size pajamas for child inpatients. However, 53% of the subjects chose not to wear the uniform pants that the hospital provided and 28% did not wear the shirts. The reasons most often given for rejecting to wear the uniforms were unsuitable size (42.1%) and difficulty in taking on and off (26.2%). The dissatisfactory parts of hospital gowns were pants length (27.9%), sleeve length (19.6%), pants waist closure (16.9%), and neckline opening (11.9%). The preference in gown design for child inpatients varied by age (p〈0.5) and the styles that they had worn (p〈0.5). Significant differences for style preference were found in the opening of shirts or pants, pants waist closure type, and pants length. These results suggest that the hospital gowns for child inpatients need to reflect the wide diversity in their body size and preference in style.

The position of the light source, illuminance distribution, and color temperature were evaluated in each lighting environment for the three main activities in a living room - 'watching TV,' 'reading' and 'relaxing.' In 'watching TV', the experiment was done to estimate the degree of comfort felt by the subjects when they watch static video and moving video, respectably, with different ambient brightness, with or without partial lighting above the TV set, and with different color temperatures. In 'reading', the comfortableness was estimated by the illuminance ratio of the ambient lighting to the lighting for reading and by the difference in color temperature. And in 'relaxing', the comfortableness was estimated by means of the ambient brightness, use/no use of a relaxing lamp, and color temperature. This experiment determined the general satisfaction for each visual act and the optimum lighting environment to reduce glare.

This case study developed and operated "Fashion & Film" as a fashion-related liberal arts course. The class was designed to include fashion styles exhibitted in films, fashion-related PPL, fashion design through film, fashion images of movie characters, considering gender & color images expressed in movie costumes, and the history of western costumes and asian folk costumes in films. The class was counducted through various teaching methods, such as lectures, student's presentation of movie plots, and team discussions, which created a student-led class. The team presentations at the end of the term were intended to enhance the understanding of fashion through movies. The results of subjective lecture evaluation of "Fashion & Film" showed the most satisfaction with the communication with professor. Students said that it was good to understand fashion through film. They expressed a burden with the team project; however, they were satisfied with the team project outcomes. Students said that PowerPoint was used very effectively. On the other hand, there was an prevelent opinion that the content of PowerPoint and workbook did not match. To address this inconvenience, a textbook called "Fashion in Film" was published and used in the first semester of 2020. The multiple-choice evaluation showed that students were generally satisfied with the "Fashion & Film" class.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine relationships between academic achievement, clinical competence, and confidence in the clinical performance of nursing students, and to identify factors that influence them. Methods: This was a descriptive correlation study. Data were collected from 118 nursing students at a nursing college in Seoul. One-way variance analysis, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis were used to examine relationships between academic achievement, clinical competence, and confidence in clinical performance. Results: Clinical competence was related to academic achievement in students' previous semester and to students' academic scores in a fundamental of nursing course. Clinical competence showed a weak positive correlation with academic achievement in students' previous semester and academic scores in a fundamental of nursing course in both evaluations by the professor and students' self-evaluations. However, confidence in clinical performance had no significant correlation with academic achievement. The factor affecting the clinical competence was academic scores in a fundamental of nursing course, and factors affecting confidence in clinical performance were health status, personality, major suitability, and class satisfaction in a fundamental of nursing skills course. Conclusion: These findings indicate that students with high academic achievement have better clinical performance, but confidence in clinical performance is not related to academic achievement.
This investigation has been carried out for the purpose of the examination of current Gwangju and Jeonnam clinical pathology students' recognition of their departments and of effective employment guidance. Furthermore, it has examined the students' recognition on two sides; namely, their satisfaction with their own departments and their recognition of the employment of medical technologists. This investigation, with 389 students as its subjects from the clinical pathology departments at 4 universities in the Gwangju-Jeonnam Region, has compared and analyzed the data from the survey with a questionnaire from November 2008 to June 2009 by using the SPSS 12.0 package. Some of the remarkable results from the yielded data are as follows. As for the motivation for their application to the clinical pathology departments, the investigation of the students' satisfaction with their departments has revealed that 47.5% of the subjects indicated recommendation from friends or acquaintances while 22.1% reported that they had been informed of the departments through Internet. 70.4% of the subjects graduated from general high schools, 22.3% from commercial high schools, and 6.2% from technical high schools. Applicants from general high schools tend to decrease in number every year. 28.5% of the students judged professor's capability of lecture as an important part of their acquisition of licenses, and more than 65.6% of the subjects acknowledged the necessity of their self-study at night for the acquisition of license. As for the future prospect of the occupation of clinical technologist, 46.8% of the students replied that it was promising, while 39.1% reported that they had no ideas. From this we can confirm that the students of clinical pathology lacked a viewpoint of occupation and goals for future jobs. The investigation of the students'recognition of the employment of clinical technologists has revealed that 47.8% of them wanted to be employed in the Seoul-Gyeonggi Region due to the properties of their local universities, 29.0% of themlogpecteties of monesly salary to be 1,200,000~1,300,000 won, while 22.4% 1,300,000~1,400,000 won. These fiemres indicated that these students' salary ogpectations were relativplo lower than those from cities ertiprovinces. As for the greatest difficulty after employment, 31.1% of the subjects indicated the confliction among employees from variouatiolleges, 27.3% uncertainty of duties related to es of major, 24.9% bmrdens of self-development.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the satisfaction of the manufacturing process and the satisfaction of manufacturing lesson in the lesson of model product manufacturing based on IoT(Internet of Things) for pre-service technology teachers. and we also analyzed 'smart farm' model production manufacturing among various products. The survey questionnaires with 8 questions to investigate satisfaction level of model manufacturing process, difficulties in manufacturing, and the satisfaction level of manufacturing lesson were collected from the 15 pre-service technology teachers and analyzed by using SPSS program. and The results of this study were as follows: First, the lesson satisfaction average level of pre-service technology teachers was high(M=4.22) in model product manufacturing process for the 'smart farm' model making based on the IoT. Second, the average satisfaction level of 'patent search and prior art search report writing education' was as high as 4.07. Therefore, the application of 'prior art search report writing education' showed that it helped to make the product. Third, the best high satisfaction level in the model production manufacturing procedure was 'education of inventive thinking method'(M=4.40). Therefore, the pre-service technology teachers showed that the 'education of inventive thinking methods' was very helpful from the idea design to the optimal selection of idea. The next order of satisfaction level was high(M=4.33) in 'design education and counseling' and 'guidance through selection of professor who guide the production manufacturing in addition to professors who are in charge of lesson'. Because they were helpful in solving the lack of knowledge of pre-service technology teachers. Fourth, satisfaction level with 'the presentation of model making results and exhibitions', 'presentations and participations of external event' was high (M = 4.13). Although the results of interviews with pre-service technology teachers showed that they suffered from lack of knowledge in various technologies, but it was an opportunity to learn things and felt a sense of accomplishment.

It is important for nursing faculties to try to improve their professional knowledge and skill in nursing education. Thus it is essential for them to participate in clinical training program. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect and satisfaction of faculty clinical training programs which were managed by Korean Academic Society of Nursing Education and 4 Hospitals(Samsung Medical Center, Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul, Asan Medical Center, Yeonsei Sebrance Medical Center) in Seoul. The data collection was done from July, 1999 to December, 1999 and the 125 subjects were used for the analysis. The purpose of participation of professor to clinical training course was found that to observe of up-to-date treatment method($3.57{\pm}.60$) and to connect between knowledge and practice ($3.63{\pm}.50$). The professors were highly satisfied with 'can see the high-tech institution and facilities($3.45{\pm}.62$)' and 'can confirm in advanced nursing field and practice ($3.38{\pm}.58$)' in clinical training program. And it was found that nursing professors applied the experience of participation in clinical training program to lecture and clinial practice for students. But they were dissatisfied with 'they had no or not enough time to practice'. In conclusion, the clinical training program was useful for nursing professor to educate and instruct the students. It is suggested that the more advanced course and practical program have to be developed for nursing faculties.

In recent years, the concept of influencer marketing has experienced rapid growth in both academia and industry, leading to its emergence as a crucial consideration in the marketing strategies of many businesses. Despite the significance and expansion of the influencer market, however, research on the topic has not kept pace with its growth. Thus, this study seeks to address this gap by empirically analyzing the impact of influencer characteristics on consumer behavior through the coexistence of buyers and providing an empirical contribution to expand the relevant literature. To accomplish this, a survey was conducted with a sample of 400 individuals who had purchased a product through an influencer, and 384 responses were ultimately utilized in the analysis. The results revealed that the attractiveness and empathy of influencers had a positive impact on satisfaction among coexisting buyers, while also having a negative impact on dissatisfaction. In contrast, expertise had no impact on satisfaction, but a positive impact on dissatisfaction. Moreover, satisfaction was found to have a positive impact on brand image and recommendation intention, whereas dissatisfaction had a negative impact on both. Overall, this study adds to the growing body of literature on influencer marketing by providing empirical evidence of the impact of influencer characteristics on consumer behavior, specifically through the lens of coexistence with buyers. These findings hold important implications for businesses looking to develop effective influencer marketing strategies that can enhance their brand image and recommendation intention among consumers.
