Every government rallies with the private sector to support its traditional cuisines. In Korea, the effort to globalize traditional dishes began with the governments official declaration of "Hansik Globalization" in 2008. Now the mission of globalizing hansik has emerged as one of the most valuable propositions in creating a new value-added rural economy, sharing growth with the tourism industry. The global food industry is reported to be bigger that of the information technology industry by 5.6 times and the automobile industry by 2.5 times as of 2008. And considering that hansik is almost unknown outside of Korea, the potential for growth is huge.

최근 국내의 외식산업은 양적, 질적으로 많은 성장을 해 왔다. 그 중 단체급식 시장도 많은 성장은 물론 무한 경쟁화되면서 영양사의 역할도 다변화되어 왔다고 할 수 있다. 전문직 자아개념은 전문 직업인으로서의 자기 자신의 업무에 대한 느낌과 스스로의 견해를 말하며 긍정적인 전문직자아개념을 가진 전문직업인 일수록 업무 수행능력이 높아진다. 본 연구는 영양사의 전문직 자아개념이 직무 만족도와 고객지향성에 미치는 영향에 관한 분석을 실시하였고, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 전문직 자아개념의 하위요인인 지도력, 용통성, 기술, 의사소통 중에서 기술과 의사소통이 직무 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그 중에서 기술의 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타나 영양사 업무와 직접 관련된 기술 요인에 대해 영양사 스스로 긍정적으로 평가할수록 직무 만족도가 높다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 고객지향성의 경우에는 의사소통과 기술의 순으로 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 영양사로서 고객의 필요와 욕구를 충족시키기 위해 노력하는 태도는 고객 혹은 타인과의 공감 능력이 높다고 스스로 평가하는 경우에 높아지는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Soamsan is known as an anti-cancer remedy in the traditional Korean Medicine. To enhance the synergic effects of anti-cancer activity of Soamsan, this study reconstituted the original components of Soamsan with a slight modification and produced a novel herbal remedy, namely Gamisoamsan. Extracts of Gamisoamsan inhibited the growth of cultured CT-26 cells, mouse colon adenocarcinoma, in a dose-dependent manner $(1\;to\;50{\mu}g/ml)$, and $ID_{50}$ was estimated approximately $16.7{\mu}g/ml$. Using tumor-bearing mouse model, in which was produced by subcutaneous injection of CT-26 cells ($1{\times}10^5$cells). the effects of Gamisoamsan on tumor growth and host survival were examined by evaluating tumor volume and increase in life span. When Gamisoamsan extracts in variable doses of 100, 200 and 500mg／kg body weight per day were orally administered to tumor-bearing mice, following results were obtained: Improvement in the hematological parameters following Gamisoamsan treatment such as hemoglobin contents, red blood cells and white blood cells of the tumor-bearing mice have been observed. Gamisoamsan treatment also showed a prolongation of life span and a reduction of tumor volume in the CT-26 tumor hosts. The results of the present study suggest that Gamisoamsan extracts has a potential anti-tumor activity and may be an useful remedy to prevent and／or treat cancer.

This experiment examined the effect of Samultang-gamibang (SGB) on hair growth in spontaneous alopecia areata C57BL/6N mice. We first investigated hair growth effect of SGB compare to control groups after apply to oral administration for 10 weeks and regional treatment in skin for last 4 weeks. We second investigated the number of hair follicle and mast cells after treatment of SGB in spontaneous alopecia areata C57BL/6N mice for 10 weeks. We third investigated immunoreactive density of neuropeptides in skin of spontaneous alopecia areata C57BL/6N mice by immunohistochemical methods. The results were as follows : Hair growing effect of experimental group was observed from 7 weeks after administration of SGB (87.5%). In experimental group, the number of mast cells and eosinophils was significantly decreased compare to control group. Immunoreactive density of substance P and corticotropin releasing factor (CRF) in skin of experimental group was weakly stained in epidermis and subcutaneous tissue compare to control group. Immunoreactive density of CRF-receptor (CRF-R), CRF-binding protein (CRF-BP) in skin of experimental group was increased in epidermis, sebaceous gland, inner root sheath, outer root sheath and secondary hair germ epithelium compare to control group. These results suggest that SGB may be used in treatment of alopecia areata.

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of Glycyrrhizae Radix water extract, known as depigmenting agent, on melanin biosynthesis in cellular level. The inhibitory effect of Glycyrrhizae Radix water extract on melanogenesis was identified by mushroom tyrosinase assay, To determine whether Glycyrrhizae Radix water extract suppress melanin synthesis in cellular level, B16 mouse melanoma cells were cultured in the presence of different concentrations of Glycyrrhizae Radix water extract. The maximum concentration of Glycyrrhizae Radix water extract that was not inhibitory to growth of the cells was 2 mg/ml. At that concentration, melanin synthesis was significantly inhibited without cytotoxicity after 5 days, compared with untreated cells. The treatment with Glycyrrhizae Radix water extract reduced tyrosinase and DOPAchrome tautomerase activity in a dose-dependent manner. These results suggest that the inhibitory effect of Glycyrrhizae Radix water extract on melanogenesis is due to the suppression of tyrosinase and DOPAchrome tautomerase activity.

The diterpene acid (1) was tested for its growth inhibitory effects against tumor cell lines using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. Full assignments of the 1D/2D-NMR data of the compound (1) are reported. These results suggest that the diterpene acid (1) possessed a cytotoxic agent.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate how nurses perceive the Career Ladder System(CLS). Methods: This study was a descriptive survey using questionnaires. Questionnaires were developed by an expert group. Participants included 161 nurses working in the Children's Hospital. The data were analyzed using factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test and ANCOVA. Results: This study revealed that nurses who advanced in their career ladders have a significantly higher perception of participation in their professional activities and a general comprehension of the CLS more than the nurses who did not advance in their career ladders. However, nurses who advanced in their career ladders have a significantly lower perception of the expected outcome of the CLS more than nurses who did not. Conclusions: This result showed that nurses who had experienced in clinical advancement and recognition were highly motivated with their professional activities via the CLS as well as they considered it to allow professional growth.

This study attempts to examine the acceptance factors of mSFA systems based on the innovation diffusion and technology acceptance model, and to measure the performance effects of mSFA systems using BSC metrics. Results show that (1) the characteristics of mobility and interactivity have positive impacts on perceived usefulness, ease of use, and professional fit. But the characteristics of personal identity were not perceived as useful due to users' negative feelings about privacy infringement and surveillance. (2) Job fit has positive impacts on perceived usefulness and professional fit. (3) Perceived usefulness, ease of use, and professional fit positively influence the degree of users' dependence on mSFA systems, which have positive impacts on users' performance measured by the personal BSC metrics including perspectives of finance, customer, internal process, and learning and growth.

The purpose of this paper is to find out the applicability of relationship marketing concept in a professional ship management context primarily on ship management service business. The dramatic growth in ship management industry leads to the intensified competition among professional ship management companies in the world. Thus they have tried to find out ways of ensuring competitiveness to be a market leader in this industry. The fundamental base of marketing is that it involves exchanges. Professional ship management involves a series of transactions and exchanges between client and ship manager. Ship management companies will ensure competitiveness by applying the concept of relationship marketing to real practices.
