Productivity relates output to input and also integrates performance aspects of quality, efficiency and effectiveness. Productivity improvement are associated with efficiency and effectiveness, productivity index involved quality and flexibility, integrated productivity measurement system, and other factors. This study focused on the productivity improvement that involved the opportunity costs such as qualify costs and flexibility effects.

The rapid adoption of smartphones and tablets among employees has recently forced organizations to proactively embrace bring your own device (BYOD). The situation of COVID-19 makes the concept of BYOD even paramount. Allowing employees to bring their own mobile devices to the workplace has helped companies realize productivity gains and cost benefits. However, BYOD has also blurred the boundaries between work and personal life, thereby creating a stressful environment for employees (Doargajudbur and Hosanoo, 2023). This study explores the relationships between several BYOD attributes and investigates the effects of these attributes on work-to-life conflict. It contributes by introducing workplace connectivity after hours as a new dimension of BYOD attribute to influence work-to-life conflict. Based on boundary theory, a theoretical model is developed and tested with an online survey. The results reveal that flexibility and workplace connectivity after hours positively influence productivity, and flexibility helps to relieve instead of increase work overload. Meanwhile, a higher level of flexibility and productivity can help reduce work-to-life conflict, and a higher level of work overload induces a higher level of work-to-life conflict.

본 연구는 우리나라 195개의 기업을 대상으로 세계적으로 관심의 대상이 되고 있는 노동시장의 유연성 전략 즉 수량적 유연성과 기능적 유연성이 조직의 결과변수인 생산성, 노사협력성, 고용안정 등에 어떠한 영향을 주는가를 기업 단위로 분석하였다. 또한 노동시장 유연성(수량적 유연성 및 기능적 유연성)과 노사협력성 및 고용안정간의 관계에서 노조 힘의 조절역할에 대해서도 분석하였다. 결과는 수량적 유연성은 생산성, 노사협력성, 고용안정 등과 유의한 관계를 보여주지 않았으나 기능적 유연성은 생산성, 노사협력성, 고용안정 등에 상당한 정의관계를 보여 주었다. 이러한 결과는 기업의 노동시장 전략에서 기능적 유연성의 중요성을 다시 확인할 수 있다. 서구에서는 기능적 유연성의 중요성을 지속적으로 주장하고 수량적 유연성의 문제점을 지적하고 있다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 기능적 유연성의 긍정적 측면은 확인이 되었으나 수량적 유연성의 부정적 관계가 확인될 수 없었다는 점에서 이들 관계는 앞으로 좀 더 연구가 지속되어야 하는 과제도 남겼다. 노동시장 유연성과 노사협력 및 고용안정과의 관계에서 노조 힘의 조절역할에 대한 분석결과는 수량적 유연성과 노사협력성 관계에서만 노조 힘의 상호작용 효과가 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 노조의 기회주의적 행동에 대한 가능성을 엿볼 수 있다. 이러한 결과에 대한 논의를 할 것이다.

Recently, the computer software technology is not keeping pace with the increasing demand of application software development and rapid changes in business environment. To overcome this "software crisis", many researchers have studied the methodologies to improve the productivity in software development and the flexibility of software usage. Among these methodologies, the most promising and intensively studied methodology is the Object-Oriented Approach The purpose of this study is, therefore, to examine the applicability of the Object-Oriented Approach for improving productivity and flexibility in Management Information Systems development. For an application, we selected a financial planning model, especially focusing on the budgeted income statement. In this thesis, we identified relevent objects in the budgeted income statement, and represented them in the object models. By implementing these object models using C++ language, we evaluated their adaptability in the budget-making process, and showed, by comparing them with the existing Planning '||'&'||' Modeling Languages such as IFPS(Interactive Financial Planning Saystem), their practicability in Management Information Systems. The results of this study are as follows: First, the same object models can be used in making the budgeted income statement both in the department level and in the corporate level. Second, the object models provide the flexibility and extensibility of an application program in case of the changes in business environment. Third, the Object-Oriented Approach is a practical methodology to improve the productivity and cut down the maintenance cost of application software development.t.

The purpose of this study is to analyze IT infrastructure of Korean apparel industry in order to enhance business effectiveness and customer's satisfaction in information society with global networks. For this study, the questionnaires were distributed to 57 apparel industries in Korea. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, multi regression analysis. The results of this study are as follow: First, Considering the apparel industry, construction of information system is essential for assistance of information policy and utilization of information. Understanding of e-business policy affects profits of suppliers. Second, Apparel industry with higher information policy has higher productivity with flexibility. Third, Apparel industry which has close relationship with suppliers has better customer support. Flexible scheduling and production line are important factors for quick response of customer's order and need.

본고의 주요 목적은 OECD 국가들과의 비교를 통해 우리나라 노동시장의 유연성 및 안정성의 수준을 평가하는 데 있다. OECD 고용보호법제 지수로 평가한 우리나라 노동시장의 유연성은 상용직 해고의 경우 여타 국가들과 대체로 비슷한 수준을 보였으며, 임시직 고용은 임시직의 비중 등 실효적 지표들까지 감안할 때 비교적 유연한 것으로 나타났다. 안정성의 경우에는 직장안정성, 소득안정성 및 결합안정성의 수준 모두 OECD 평균치를 큰 폭으로 하회하였다. 추가적으로 OECD 국가들을 대상으로 패널분석을 수행한 결과, 유연성 측면에서는 상용직 해고 규제가 느슨할수록, 임시직 고용 규제는 엄격할수록 노동생산성이 향상되는 것으로 추정되었다.

As international market pressures increase, product life cycles are becoming shorter at same time requirements for productivity and flexibility are becoming higher. Major improvement in robot programming user interface is central to increasing productivity and flexibility for automatic manufacturing environments. New computer technologies have the potential to accomplish this improvement. In this study we have developed a system which proves that interactive computer graphics and geometric modeling have matured to the point where their artful application into an integrated system can rsult in radically new and powerful user interface for robot programming. With the graphic user interface environment the system efficiently utilizes the existing CAD data and gemetric modeling techniques for off-line programming and simulations. Also the system successfully generates robot control programs performing the desired tasks given through off-line programming.

Many firms have applied flexible manufacturing systems as a means of increasing productivity, profitability, and quality. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to develop the more efficient justification model through an analytical scoring model with the quantitative factors, flexibility factors, and safety factors under uncertainty. In this paper, the three factors for properly comparing and evaluating of flexible manufacturing systems are presented. Especially, this paper has emphasized the flexibility and safety factor; the one consists of organization assessment, process treatment function, products and products quantity, useful life assesment, and software function, the other presents risk assesment, Y2K problem, safety device analysis, total productive management system, safety management. Finally, a normalized scoring model by the new flexibility and safety factors can be used in real fields for flexible manufacturing systems project selection under uncertainty.

Chip mounter which is used to pick chips from the pre-specified position and place them on the target location of PCB is an essential device in semiconductor and LCD industries. Quick and high precision positioning is the key technology needed to increase productivity of chip mounters. As increasing acceleration and deceleration of placing motion, structural vibration induced from inertial reactive force and flexibility of mounter structure becomes a serious problem degrading positioning accuracy. Motivated from these, this paper proposed a new control design algorithm which combines a mounter structure acceleration feedforward compensation and an extended sliding mode control for fine positioning and suppression of structural vibration, simultaneously. The feasibility of the proposed control design was verified along with some simulation results.

FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System) is an automatic manufacturing system coincided with pursue of flexibility, productivity, and reliability.
