여성복 생산현황과 생산라인 설계를 위한 시뮬레이션 모델 개발 (A Study of Production System and Simulation Model for Womens Wear Manufacture)

  • In Korean clothing industry, most of the womens wear is manufactured by subcontractors. Because womens fashion is getting more rapidly changing, subcontractors production run of each orders is getting shorter too. Also the volume of each order is quite small compare to mens or childrens. So subcontractors are always in a hurry to adjust their production capacity to new order. Therefore they cannot afford to plan production line and allocate works efficiently enough to manufacture competitive products in terms of cost, lead time, as well as quality. The purpose of this study is to suggest a production planning model for womens apparel manufacture, which are relevant to the situation of Korean clothing industry.

CONTENTS 1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of the study was to propose a future oriented urban space production strategy to offer diverse useful services to citizens to improve international competitiveness of cities in the times of competition that competitive subjects were changed from competition among countries to competition among cities. 2) RESEARCH METHOD In the proposed future-oriented urban space production strategy, the study compared/analyzed main plans related to development of urban space by selecting CBD(Jung-gu) of Busan out of local metropolises in South Korea. 3) RESEARCH FINDINGS In the proposed future-oriented urban space production strategy, the study largely sorted city's function into four scopes function of industrial support, function of social support, function of living support and function of urban infrastructure. 2. RESULTS It is expected that the proposed future oriented urban space production strategy will be utilized as a useful reference model when a lot of local governments, planning a ubiquitous urban space, establish a plan for constructing a ubiquitous urban space.

대형 조선소의 블록 물류 시뮬레이션 (Simulation of Block Logistics at a Big Shipyard)

  • To meet the soaring demand recently, South Korea big shipbuilders are examining two things. One is new investment in plant and equipment. The other is replacement of production resources. Considering plant & equipment investment and replacement of production resources, even if actual production ability would be enough, the real output could be affected by limitation of logistics with lack of analysis. As we set up big shipyard in virtual space, we could perform actual production by using confirm production plan in virtual space. We've analyzed the load of block stock, load of road and load of transporter for logistics effects are followed by production increase. This research is to determine the possible problems of those analyzed results and to present the resolution using the current layout. And then modified yard layout, we reanalyzed previous three logistics effects. This simulation model could help administrator to make rational decision for changing yard layout.

A Study of the PDCA and CAPD Economic Designs of the $\bar{x}$ Control Chart

  • The PDCA (Plan, Do, Check and Act) cycle is often used in the field of quality management. Recently, business environments have become more competitive, and the due time of products has shortened. In a short production run process, to increase efficiency of management, the necessity for distinguishing the PDCA design that starts with PLAN and the CAPD design that starts with CHECK has been clarified. Starting from Duncan (1956), there have been a number of papers dealing with the economic design of control charts from the viewpoint of production run. Some authors (Gibra, 1971; Ladany and Bedi, 1976; etc.) have studied the economic design for finite-length runs; other authors (Crowder, 1992; Del Castillo and Montgomery, 1996; etc.) have studied the economic design for short runs. However, neither the PDCA nor the CAPD design of control charts has been considered. In this paper, both the PDCA and CAPD designs of the $\bar{\x}$ chart are defined based on Del Castillo and Montgomery's design (1996), and their mathematical formulations are shown. Then from an economic viewpoint, the optimal values of the sample size per each sampling, control limits width, and the sampling interval of the two designs are studied. Finally, by numerically analyzing the relations between the key parameters and the total expected cost per unit time, the comparisons between the two designs are considered in detail.

B2C 쇼핑몰 시스템을 위한 프로덕트 라인 (A Product Line for B2C Shopping Mall Systems)

  • B2C 쇼핑몰 시스템의 경우 사용자 인터페이스에 관련된 부분에서만 차이를 보일 뿐 시스템의 기능적인 요구사항과 아키텍처는 유사하며 재사용 가능한 컴포넌트나 COTS 제품을 사용하여 시스템의 많은 부분을 구축할 수 있다. 따라서 쇼핑몰 시스템 구축 시 매번 각 기능들을 설계하고 구현하는 것은 중복 투자를 하는 것과 같다. 이에 본 논문에서는 B2C 소핑몰 시스템의 공통 요구사항을 기반으로 B2C 쇼핑몰 시스템 구축을 위한 프로덕트 라인을 제시한다. 쇼핑몰 시스템 구축에 프로덕트 라인을 적용한다면 중복 투자를 줄이고 미리 준비한 COTS 제품이나 컴포넌트를 사용하여 좋은 품질의 시스템을 빠르게 구축할 수 있다. B2C 쇼핑몰 시스템의 프로덕트 라인을 제시하기 위해 프로덕트 라인의 Core Asset Development 프로세스를 수행하여 쇼핑몰 시스템에 특화된 Product Line Scope, Core Assets, Production Plane을 정의하였다. B2C 쇼핑몰 시스템의 Product Lien Scope는 웹 상에서 물건 판매, 주문 정보 접수, 고객 정보 관리 등의 공통점과 가격의 고정 여부, 검색 등 기타 기능, 공동구매 기능 등의 차이점으로 정의할 수 있다. Core Asset는 B2C 쇼핑몰 시스템의 아키텍처와 시험 및 설계 방법, 재사용 가능한 컴퍼넌트 목록 등이 있다. 마지막으로 Production Plan은 각각의 Core Asset의 부착 프로세스를 연결하여 제시한다. B2C 쇼핑몰 시스템의 Production Plan은 프로젝트 계획, 아키텍처 정체, 사용자 인터페이스 프로토타핑, 컴포넌트 획득, 구현, 통합 및 테스팅, 운영 단계로 구성된다.

  • LCI(Lean Constrcution Institute)에 의해 개발되어진 라스트 플래너(Last Planner System)은 Master Schedule, Phase Schedule, Lookahead Schedule, Weekly Work plan의 4단계로 이루어진다. 본 연구는 LSP의 4단계 중 Weekly Work Plan 단계에서 이루어지는 PPC(Percent of Plan Completed)의 측정 프로세스에 초점을 맞추고 있다. PPC 적용에 따른 여러 가지 장점에 대해서는 이미 해외 여러 나라에 의해 소개되어진 바 있지만, 아직까지 우리나라에서 PPC란 용어 자체가 낯선 상황이며, PPC 관련 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 한국 건설산업에 PPC를 도입하기에 앞서 라스트 플래너 시스템의 공정관리체계와 국내 공정관리체계를 비교 ${\cdot}$ 분석함으로써 우리나라 현실에 적합한 작업성취율 측정을 위한 공정관리절차를 제시하고 이를 도입하기 위해 선행되어져야할 사항에 대해 제시하고자 한다.

The implementation of the integrated design process in the hole-plan system

  • All current shipyards are using the customized CAD/CAM programs in order to improve the design quality and increase the design efficiency. Even though the data structures for ship design and construction are almost completed, the implementation related to the ship design processes are still in progress so that it has been the main causes of the bottleneck and delay during the middle of design process. In this study, we thought that the hole-plan system would be a good example which is remained to be improved. The people of outfitting division who don't have direct authority to edit the structural panels, should request the hull design division to install the holes for the outfitting equipment. For acceptance, they should calculate the hole position, determine the hole type, and find the intersected contour of panel. After consideration of the hull people, the requested holes are manually installed on the hull structure. As the above, many processes are needed such as communication and discussion between the divisions, drawings for hole-plan, and the consideration for the structural or production compatibility. However this iterative process takes a lot of working time and requires mental pressure to the related people and cross-division conflict. This paper will handle the hole-plan system in detail to automate the series of process and minimize the human efforts and time-consumption.
