  • Even the domestically small-and medium-sized companies progressed development in the monitoring equipment of inspecting run out in steel wheel aiming to supply and generalize through developing the monitoring equipment for securing quality technology and enhancing quality-test level. Run-Out value in vehicle wheel was measured with Computer & Servo system by using Low-Point marking machine control system, which is this development product. Low-Point value was operated and calculated. It marked by revolving wheel as much as the demanded measurement value based on 1ST harmony curve. Thus, the shipment of inferior product, which occurs in the measurement by the existing worker, could be blocked in advance. In the existing case, 60 sec. was required for inspecting 1 product. However, it came to bring about a rise in production volume through shortening inspection time to 8 seconds and improving workers' operating environment.

This study investigated the effect on the loyalty by applying the perceived shopping value (Hedonic Value, Utilitarian Value) of consumers in online shopping malls. In addition, In order to grasp the factors affecting consumer loyalty in online shopping malls, the characteristics of online shopping malls are multidimensional, consisting of product characteristics, recommended quality, benefit services, and community services. In order to obtain the purpose of the study, a questionnaire was surveyed for chinese online shopping experience and the research model was verified through empirical analysis method. Statistical analysis program was used together with SPSS 24.0 and AMOSS 24.0. Looking at the results of the analysis, firstly, the recommended quality and benefit service of online shopping malls are positive for the perceived hedonic value of consumers. The product characteristics and community service were found to have no effect on the hedonic shopping value. Secondly, the product characteristics, recommended quality, benefit service, and community service of online shopping malls on the utilitrian value perceived by consumers were positively affected. Thirdly, the perceived hedonic value has a positive effect on loyalty. Finally, it was confirmed that perceived utilitrian value affects loyalty. Based on the results of this study, a differentiated marketing strategy was established for existing chinese online shopping mall operators and potential new operators as well.

  • This study analyzes the type of preferred shopping items based on tourism shopping value pursued by tourists through shopping at travel destinations as well as verifies their impact on satisfaction. A survey on 310 adult men and women aged 20 to 69 collected data samples representing tourism shoppers in Korea. Based on the collected data, a factor analysis and a structural model equation analysis were performed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS. Tourism shopping value was divided into functional value, emotional value, exploratory value, and shared value. In addition, shopping items were categorized as physical materials and experience materials to identify the difference in preferred item types according to the value that tourists perceive. It also confirmed the adjustment effect of tourism motivation that affects tourism shopping behavior. According to the analysis results, the more tourists perceive functional and emotional values when shopping, the more physical material they prefer, and the more they perceive exploratory values, the higher the preference for experience goods. However, the shared value affected both physical materials and experience materials. Based on escape-seeking motivation, the adjustment effect of tourism motivation (a major variable to understand the behavior of tourists) on tourism shopping behavior was confirmed. Based on the academic and practical implications of this study, we hope to broaden our understanding of tourism shopping and revitalize research on tourism shopping.

  • Recently, Kim and Mauborgne (2005a) has introduced the concept of blue ocean strategy that provides quantum leap in value innovation, thus creating new market space. This study, based on the blue ocean strategy concept, suggests blue ocean new product development strategy, and attempts to examine how much impact this blue ocean new product development strategy has on new product performance, compared to existing new product development strategy perspectives based on competitive strategy-based new product development strategy and resource-based new product development strategy, in an empirical way. The research results show that the blue ocean new product development strategy has a statistically significant impact on new product performance. In addition, it was revealed that such contingency variables as firm size and environmental dynamism have moderating effect on the relationship between the blue ocean new product development strategy and new product performance. The blue ocean new product development strategy is more effective in the small-sized firms than the large-sized ones, and its effect on new product performance is different according to environmental dynamism.

  • Association rules among product items by association analysis suggest sales effect among products. These are useful for marketing strategies such as cross-selling and product display etc. However, if we evaluate more practical product values reflecting cross-selling effects, they will be also more useful for the decisions of companies such as product item selection for product assortment and profit maximization etc. This study proposes product value evaluation models with the concept of effective value based on single-item association chain and itemset association chain. In addition to that, we performed experiments with transaction data related to clothing of an online shopping mall in Korea to show the performances of our models. In result, we confirmed that some items increased in effective values compared with their pure values while the others decreased in effective values.

  • This paper presents a conceptual approach to convert customer requirements expressed in ordinary language into a form of qualitative and quantitative functions for developing new products. This approach attempts to combine the concepts of the value engineering and the Kansei engineering. It emphasizes that customer require- ments should be interpreted and reflected on the design of new product. Specific are discussed for extracting subjective requirements and transforming them into qualitative and quantitative functions for product design. This approach is expected to provide the product designer with a systematic efficient tool for incorporating subjective requirements into a product design.
