제품전형성이 소비자의 상표평가에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Product Typicality on Consumers' Brand Evaluation)

  • 이 논문은 제품 전형성이 상표평가에 미치는 영향 즉, 전형성효과와 그 맥락의존성을 분석하였다. 선택군 확대, 공통특성의 부가, 정당화 과업 등 맥락에 따른 전형성효과의 변화에 관한 가설검증으로부터 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 전형적 상표와 비전형적 상표로 구성된 단순한 선택군에서는 전형적 상표에 대한 평가가 호의적이었다. 그러나 극단적인 비전형적 제품이 진입하면 전형적효과가 유의하게 잠식되었다. 이는 개척상표가 향유하는 전형성의 혜택이 다양한 전형성 포지셔닝의 상표들로 상표대안이 확대되는 시장상황에 취약하다는 것을 의미한다. 둘째, 선택대안에 부가되는 공통특성은 그 매력도에 상관없이 상표들 사이의 전형성 차이를 희석시키지만, 매력도에 따라 전형성효과에 차별적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 즉 비매력적 공통특성은 상표에 대한 호의도나 긍정적 평가에는 영향을 미치지 못하였으나 매력적 공통특성은 상표평가에 유의한 영향을 미쳐, 시장에서 정체성이나 독특성이 확립된 상표는 공통특성의 부가에 의해 긍정적인 시장반응을 얻을 수 있고, 그 역도 성립된다. 셋째, 설명이나 정당화가 필요한 평가 및 선택과업에서는 독특한 비전형적 상표에 대한 선택이 억제되고, 타인에게 자신의 상표평가나 선택 배경을 설명하고 자신의 선택을 정당화하는데 효과적이고 안전한 전형적 제품에 대한 호의도가 증가되고 관습적 대안을 선택하는 성향이 강화되는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 상징적 제품이나 공적 의사결정에서 전형적 제품이 상대적으로 선호될 것을 시사한다.

햅틱 장치의 프로파일 측정 및 감성 평가 (Torque Profile Measuring and Sensibility Evaluation of a Haptic Device)

  • Developed in this research is a TP (tangible prototyping) system, which consists of two modules; (1) a virtual reality model to evaluate the functions and appearance of the product, and (2) a haptic device to emulate tactile and kinesthetic properties of mechanical dial knobs. As an example, a washing machine is modeled using a commercial CAD system and transformed in VRML and X3D formats. Some dynamic behaviors and kinematic characteristics are programmed using X3D script and Java. Various haptic behaviors of the dial are generated by modulating torque profile according to the rotation angle. A torque profile measuring system is developed to evaluate the behaviors of the haptic dial physically. Haptic sensibility evaluations are accomplished using the TP by semantic differential method.

  • This paper describes a Accelerated Life Test (ALT) with the electrical contact erosion suitable to the evaluations of high-reliability and durability devices such as magnetic contactor. Recently, an electrical devices company was interested in accelerated life test (ALT), the product liability (PL) and the short-term testing model of electrical life test (ELT). In order to estimate a model for testing fee and period, need to the statistical analysis method with the acceleration factor(AF). Usually customer/manufacturer regard their device failure to the over-current or heavy duty condition, while devices view shape of contact erosion owing to operational duty problem. In this paper, additional method of evaluation estimated the operated cycles by weight of contact erosion with a used of regression analysis by MINITAB.

A Reconfigurable Lighting Engine for Mobile GPU Shaders

  • A reconfigurable lighting engine for widely used lighting models is proposed for low-power GPU shaders. Conventionally, lighting operations that involve many complex arithmetic operations were calculated by the shader programs on the GPU, which led to a significant energy overhead. In this letter, we propose a lighting engine to improve the energy-efficiency by supporting the widely used advanced lighting models in hardware. It supports the Blinn-Phong, Oren-Nayar, and Cook-Torrance models, by exploiting the logarithmic arithmetic and optimizing the trigonometric function evaluations for the energy-efficiency. Experimental results demonstrate 12.7%, 42.5%, and 35.5% reductions in terms of power-delay product from the shader program implementations for each lighting model. Moreover, our work shows 10.1% higher energy-efficiency for the Blinn-Phong model compared to the prior art.

상황버섯분말을 첨가한 다식의 품질 특성에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of Dasik Prepared with Added Sangwang Mushroom Powder)

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality characteristics of Sangwang Mushroom powder at different levels (0 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 %). roximate moisture composition of the powder was 9.22 %. As powder level increased, the moisture content of the Dasik increased the L, a, and b values of the Dasik significantly increased. According to the mechanical evaluation results, hardness and gumminess decreased as the level of Sangwang ushroom powder increased while springness, cohesiveness and chewiness were not significantly different among the groups. In the sensory evaluations, the 10 % Sangwang Mushroom Dasik prepared with 90 g of heat flour, 10 g of Sangwang ushroom powder, and 80 g of honey showed the highest preference scores and was therefore chosen as the optimal product.

Preventive Effects of Co-treatment with Fucoidan and Lutein on the Development of Inflammatory Bowel Disease in DSS Mouse Model

  • We investigated the effects of fucoidan and lutein against dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced mice colitis. Evaluations were made of the body weight, histological index such as crypt injury and inflammation score, biochemical factor such as serum amyloid (SAA) and MPO level data. The combination of fucoidan and lutein reduced the score of crypt injury and inflammation and markedly showed more decrease of the SAA and MPO levels than 5-ASA group. In addition, each sample of fucoidan and lutein was reduced the level of IL-6 which is stimulated by a lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in HT-29 cell line in vitro. Therefore, fucoidan and lutein may be useful as a dietary substance for preventing inflammatory bowel disease in humans.

  • During the last three decades, the problem of evaluation of the determinants of the Laplacians on Riemann manifolds has received considerable attention by many authors. The functional determinant for the n-dimensional sphere $S^n$ with the standard metric has been computed in several ways. Here we aim at computing the determinants of the Laplacians on $S^n$ (n = 8, 9) by mainly using ceratin known closed-form evaluations of series involving Zeta function.

  • Product reliability plays a significantly important role these days. This study has been performed to examine the widely being used specifications, MIL-HDBK-217 and SR-332 for electronic parts. We specifically selected an electronic ballast of the low wattage fluorescent lamp for the study. We briefly reviewed the reliability specifications with the basic concepts of the ballast. We then valuated failure rates of the parts using MIL-HDBK-217 and SR-332 specifications. Since the quality and environment factor values are subjectively determined for failure rate evaluations, we excluded them for comparison.

신선편이 양상추 샐러드의 저장 중 품질평가 (Quality Evaluation of Fresh-cut Lettuce during Storage)

  • This study was performed in an effort to standardize the quality of fresh-cut products. Here, consumers' perceptions of fresh-cut products were surveyed to determine the quality factors in preparing quality standards for fresh-cut products. According to the surveys, freshness was the most important factor for consumers when choosing fresh-cut products at the market. Secondary indicators of good quality, i.e., "sensory qualities," were determined to be vibrant color, clean taste, nice feel, neat presentation, etc., as well as knowledge of whether it was organically grown. Off-odors decreased a product's marketability. Likewise, the more wilted or brown it appeared, the less a product was desired. From the results, the quality control indices for fresh-cut products were derived as freshness, discoloration, off-flavor, uniformity, prohibition of adulteration by alien substances, packaging and labeling. The quality of fresh-cut lettuce samples was measured against three storage temperatures: $20^{\circ}C,\;10^{\circ}C$ and $5^{\circ}C$. Sensory quality evaluations revealed the following: produce stored at $20^{\circ}C$ lost its marketability in less than one day; produce stored at $10^{\circ}C$ lost its marketability in less than two days; on the other hand, produced stored at $5^{\circ}C$, maintained its marketability for six days. At these respective points, browning started to occur around cut areas, and increased gradually once it began. Vitamin C content decreased with storage time, but storage at $5^{\circ}C$ maintained vitamin content the longest duration. Finally, further examinations were performed on the sensory qualities of fresh-cut lettuce samples at four levels of increased browning. Up to the third level, the product score for marketability was 5.6.

제주특별자치도 관광패키지상품 가격 평가: 전망이론을 적용하여 (Price Evaluations on Tourist of Jeju Tourism Package Product: Focused on Prospect Theory)

  • 본 논문은 제주관광과 직 간접적적으로 연계되어 있는 관광패키지 가격 메커니즘의 의사결정에 관한 연구로 제주도 관광패키지 12개의 상품을 선정하여 전망이론에 기초한 심리적 회계원칙과 프레이밍 효과를 One Way ANOVA 검정방법으로 분석하고 있다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 관광패키지 리스트가격정보를 제시할 때 묶음가격으로 제시하는 마케팅 전략이 필요하다. 둘째, 할인가격 정보는 기본패키지와 옵션패키지의 개별할인 정보를 단위별로 세분하여 공개하는 것이 바람직하다. 셋째, 가격(가격할인)정보 제공에서 관광상품 구매경험이 풍부한 관광객들은 경험이 적은 고객들보다 가격정보에 민감한 것으로 나타나 "프레이밍 효과"와 "지식-조합이론"이 일치하는 결과가 도출되었다. 따라서 리스트가격정보는 묶음가격으로 제시하는 한편, 가격할인상품은 할인정보를 어떠한 프레임으로 제시하느냐가 중요하며, 현대인의 관광상품 구매 관점을 파악하는 것과 시간, 노력, 바용 등이 절약될 수 있는 여행서비스상품을 제공하여 심리적 회계원칙에 안정감을 주는 것이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.
