우리나라 모피와 피혁 복식의 제작과정과 기술 (Manufacturing Process and Technology of Korean Costumes Made of Fur and Loather)

  • From the ancient Korea to the late Joseon Korean fur and leather had been preferred in and out of Korea for their good quality and excellent manufacturing skill. Since Unified Silla (A.D.676${\sim}$A.D.936) Korean fur and leather were manufactured divisionally by workmen specialized in materials and products, and such manufacturing process was succeeded to Goryeo and Joseon. Manufacturing of fur and leather was consisted of as follows: hunting and butchering - peeling - beating with a paddle and removing fat - oil manufacturing - drying - tanning, then cutting and sewing, and there was a special caring method. In order to make good fur and leather, each process of manufacturing needed particular techniques and all available methods were tried to have tender fur and leather by using smoking, excrement, lime, vegetable tannin and even cerebral liquid. And also required mouth-chewing and hand-pounding with a lot of time and of labor Keeping furs resilience and flexibility, sowing several skins together, even when the after-all-process skin was converted into clothes, was much more difficult than sewing fabric. Thus, the manufacturing cost was as much expensive as skin materials, and the volume of manufacturing of fur and leather was also limited. Therefore, fur and leather must have been popular for scarcity value in the manufacturing process, and this scarcity must have caused an extreme luxury of fur.

  • 건설프로젝트에서 현재 사용되고 있는 작업분류체계(Work Breakdown Structure)는 프로세스 내의 세부작업간 선·후행 관계의 불확실성과 작업의 불합리한 상호 연계성에 기인한 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 Work Structuring을 제시하여 프로세스간에 투명성을 부여하고 세부작업간의 간섭을 제거시켜 작업신뢰성을 향상할 수 있는 방안을 도출하였고 프로세스를 개선하기 위한 프로세스 디자인 다이어그램을 개발하였다. WS에 의한 프로세스 개선의 목적은 고객에게 가치를 창출시켜주면서 보다 신속하고 신뢰성 있는 작업 흐름을 만드는 것을 목적으로 하고 있으며 비가치 창출작업의 감소, 프로세스의 명료화 및 투명성 향상 등에 의의가 있다.

  • This paper deals with the process planning of flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) with various flexibilities and multiple objectives. The consideration of the manufacturing flexibility is crucial for the efficient utilization of FMS. The machine, tool, sequence, and process flexibilities are considered In this research. The flexibilities cause to increase the Problem complexity. To solve the process planning problem, an this paper an evolutionary algorithm is used as a methodology. The algorithm is named multiobjective competitive evolutionary algorithm (MOCEA), which is developed in this research. The feature of MOCEA is the incorporation of competitive coevolution in the existing multiobjective evolutionary algorithm. In MOCEA competitive coevolution plays a role to encourage population diversity. This results in the improvement of solution quality and, that is, leads to find diverse and good solutions. Good solutions means near or true Pareto optimal solutions. To verify the Performance of MOCEA, the extensive experiments are performed with various test-bed problems that have distinct levels of variations in the four kinds of flexibilities. The experiments reveal that MOCEA is a promising approach to the multiobjective process planning of FMS.

ON-DOCK 서비스 시스템이 부산항 경쟁력 향상에 미치는 영향 (On the Effect of ON-DOCK System to the Sharpening of Competitiveness Edge of the Pusan Port)

  • Port competition is generally classified into two type of inter-domestic ports and intermational ports and the latter is measured how to secure the function of intermediacy for foreign cargoes among competing parts. In the Northeast Asia top 20 world container ports such as Pusan, Kobe, Yokohama and Kaohsiung are struggling to induce transshipment containers generated in the North China region. This paper aims to analyze and evaluate the competitive factors of the said ports such as port site facilities expenses service level and flexibility of management and operations and suggest the feasible strategies that the Pusan Port to be viable transshipment center in the region. The evaluation is attempted twice. First attempt is evaluated by present conditions of each port and second attempt by upgraded conditions of evaluation value such as port service level and flexibility of port management and operations resulted from the implementation of the ON-DOCK service system. The results of evaluation are as follows; (1) Port competitiveness of first evaluation is ranked in Kobe=Kaohsiung >Pusan>Yokohama. (2) Second evaluation is resulted in Kobe> Pusan= Kaohsiung>Yokohama. According to this results the competitiveness edge of the Pusan Port is able to strengthen by implementation of the ON-DOCk system.

Fabrication of Patchable Organic Lasing Sheets via Soft Lithography

  • Here, we report a novel fabrication technique for patchable organic lasing sheet based on non-volatile liquid organic semiconductors and freestanding polymeric film with high flexibility and patchability. For this work, we have fabricated the second-order DFB grating structure, which leads to surface emission, embedded in the freestanding polymeric film. Using an ultra-violet (UV) curable polyurethaneacrylate (PUA) mixture, the periodic DFB grating structure can be easily prepared on the freestanding polymeric film via a simple UV curing process. Due to unsaturated acrylate remained in the PUA mixture after UV curing, the freestanding PUA film provides adhesive properties, which enable mounting of the patchable organic lasing sheet onto non-flat surfaces with conformal contact. To achieve laser actions in the freestanding resonator structure, a composite material of liquid 9-(2-ethylhexyl)carbazole (EHCz) and organic laser dyes was used as the laser medium. Since the degraded active materials can be easily refreshed by a simple injection of the liquid composite, such a non-volatile liquid organic semiconducting medium has degradation-free and recyclable characteristics in addition to other strong advantages including tunable optoelectronic responses, solvent-free processing, and ultimate mechanical flexibility and uniformity. Lasing properties of the patchable organic lasing sheet were also investigated after mounting onto non-flat surfaces, showing a mechanical tunability of laser emission under variable surface curvature. It is anticipated that these results will be applied to the development of various patchable optoelectronic applications for light-emitting displays, sensors and data communications.

  • Organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays have promising potential to replace liquid crystal displays (LCDs) due to their advantages of low power consumption, fast response time, broad viewing angle and flexibility. Organic light emitting materials are vulnerable to moisture and oxygen, so inorganic thin films are required for barrier substrates and encapsulations.[1-2]. In this work, the silicon-based inorganic thin films are deposited on plastic substrates by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) at low temperature. It is necessary to deposit thin film at low temperature. Because the heat gives damage to flexible plastic substrates. As one of the transparent diffusion barrier materials, silicon oxides have been investigated. $SiO_x$ have less toxic, so it is one of the more widely examined materials as a diffusion barrier in addition to the dielectric materials in solid-state electronics [3-4]. The $SiO_x$ thin films are deposited by a PECVD process in low temperature below $100^{\circ}C$. Water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) was determined by a calcium resistance test, and the rate less than $10.^{-2}g/m^2{\cdot}day$ was achieved. And then, flexibility of the film was also evaluated.

High Velocity Impact Characteristics of Shear Thickening Fluid Impregnated Kevlar Fabric

  • The development of high performance fabrics have advanced body armor technology and improved ballistic performance while maintaining flexibility. Utilization of the shear thickening phenomenon exhibited by Shear Thickening Fluids (STF) has allowed further enhancement without hindering flexibility of the fabric through a process of impregnation. The effect of STF impregnation on the ballistic performance of fabrics has been studied for impact velocities below 700 m/s. Studies of STF-impregnated fabrics for high velocity impacts, which would provide a transition to significantly higher velocity ranges, are lacking. This study aims to investigate the effect of STF impregnation on the high velocity impact characteristics of Kevlar fabric by effectively dispersing silica nanoparticles in a suspension, impregnating Kevlar fabrics, and performing high velocity impact experiments with projectile velocities in the range of 1 km/s to compare the post impact characteristics between neat Kevlar and impregnated Kevlar fabrics. 100 nm diameter silica nanoparticles were dispersed using a homogenizer and sonicator in a solution of polyethylene glycol (PEG) and diluted with methanol for effective impregnation to Kevlar fabric, and the methanol was evaporated in a heat oven. High velocity impact of STF-impregnated Kevlar fabric revealed differences in the post impact rear formation compared to neat Kevlar.

  • 견직물의 효소정련에 있어서 조련정도가 효소정련한 견직물의 특성에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 조련정도가 다른 효소정련견포에 대하여 KES-F System을 적용하여 역학적 특성 즉 인장, 굽힘, 약단, 압축 및 표면특성을 측정하고 태값을 산출하여 비교한 결과는 아래와 같다. 1. 능하부다이 견직물의 경우 조련연감율이 증가와 함께 포의 stiffness는 감소되고 smoothness는 향상되었으나 종합 태값인 soft feeling은 조련 20%에서 가장 우수하였다. 2. 크\ulcorner데신 견직물의 경우 anti-drape stiffness는 조련정도가 커지는데 따라서 증가되었으나 기타 특성과 종합 태값인 Flexibility with soft feeling은 조련정도와 상관이 인정되지 않았다.

일본 도심형 노인전문요양시설의 환경디자인 특성에 관한 사례연구 - 대동경소재 5개 시설을 중심으로 - (A Case Study on Characteristics of Environmental Design for Nursing Home in Japan - Focused on 5 Facilities in Tokyo -)

  • This research aimed to assess nursing homes for the elderly with geriatric diseases in Japan, and to prepare the knowledge basis to develop nursing home for the elderly with geriatric diseases in Korea. For this, researcher visited 5 facilities in Tokyo from October 3 to October 9 in 2002, collected data by observations, interviews, and visual materials by taking photographs. Visual materials were analyzed according to the environmental assessment matrix consisted of supportiveness, flexibility, efficiency in perception, accessibility, safety, amenity, and social Interaction that were assorted and were given a name by these researchers in the process of this research. Among the characteristics of environmental design of the analysis cases, 992 items picked out from 722 visual materials were used in the analysis. The data were analyzed using the frequency and percentage with SPSS 11 program. The analysis results were the fellowing. The characteristics of recent nursing home design in Japan tended to focus on supportiveness, amenity, and efficiency in perception but to leave much desired in flexibility and safety. In each space, space to support outdoor activities tended to focus on efficiency in perception, space to support living activities tended to focus on amenities, space to support treatment and living tended to focus on supportiveness, space to support administration and operation tended to focus on supportiveness, and space to support movement tended to focus on amenities.

템플릿 기반 CBD 방법론을 이용한 OLAP 구축 (Implementation of OLAP with Template-based CBD)

  • OLAP 시스템은 사용자가 다양한 측면에서 대화식으로 정보를 분석할 수 있는 의사결정 지원 시스템이다. 기존의 컴포넌트를 이용한 CBD 방법론을 OLAP 시스템 구축에 직접 적용하는 것은 정형화된 컴포넌트로 인해 유연성과 재활용성 측면에서 한계를 가진다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해 비즈니스 요구사항과 개발 컴포넌트를 포함하도록 확장한 템플릿의 개념을 CBD 방법론에 도입하였다. 이러한 템플릿에 기초하여 OLAP 시스템을 보다 쉽게 개발하고 재활용성을 높일 수 있는 템플릿 기반 CBD 방법론(TCBD)을 제안하였다. 템플릿 기반 방법론은 이미 생성된 템플릿에 가변적 객체를 변경하여 비즈니스 요구사항을 반영하도록 하였다. 제안 방법론을 OLAP 시스템의 실제 구축에 적용하여 제안된 TCBD 방법론이 유연성과 재활용성 측면에서 효율적이고, 테스팅과 디버깅 단계를 포함한 개발 기간을 단축할 수 있음을 보인다
