초등 수학교과서의 문제해결 역량 및 과제 유형 분석: 수와 연산 영역의 도전/생각 수학과 탐구 수학을 중심으로 (Analysis of problem solving competency and types of tasks in elementary mathematics textbooks: Challenging/Thinking and inquiry mathematics in the domain of number and operation)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 교과서가 반영하고 있는 문제해결 양상을 수와 연산 단원들을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 문제해결의 하위요소를 중심으로 수학적 활동에 대해 코딩을 실시한 결과 실행이 강조되는 가운데 학년별로 강조되는 하위 요소들이 다르게 나타났고, 잠재집단분석을 통해서 과제의 유형을 분류해 보았다. 향후 교과서 개발과 교사지원에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

2022 개정 수학과 교육과정의 역량을 반영한 수업평가 기준 탐색 - '교수·학습 방법 및 평가' 지식을 중심으로- (The Investigation of the Mathematics Teaching Evaluation Standards Focused on Mathematical Competencies in the revised mathematics curriculum in 2022)

  • This study is to establish the domains and the standards of instructional evaluation on the teacher knowledge dealing with the knowledge of 'teaching and learning methods and assessment'. Especially, in this study, the instruction assessment standards are developed focused on the five types of mathematics competencies such as problem solving, communication, reasoning, connection, information and handling, which were emphasized in the mathematical curriculum revised in 2022. By the result, ten domains such as an instruction involving instruction goal and content, problem-solving competency, data treatment competency, learners' achievement level and attitude, communication competency, reasoning competency, connection competency, the assessment method and procedure based on the competency, the assessment tool development based on the competency, assessment result based on the competency were new established. According to those domains, the total 20 instructional evaluation standards were developed. This study is limited to consider the domain of 'teaching and learning methods and assessment' among the domains of teacher knowledge, while dealing with the elements of mathematics competencies in the standards. However, instructional evaluation standards reflecting these competencies should be developed in the other diverse domains of teacher knowledge.

  • In this study, as a competency strengthening program to support learner-centered education, we developed the 'Capstone-design competency Program' for the purpose of cultivating the 4C skills and problem-solving ability required as core competencies of the 21st century. The program was based on the project method, and strategies were derived and materialized for each step through core competency analysis. Then, the validity was confirmed through the implementation of the program. As a result of the implementation of the program, it was confirmed that this program was effective in cultivating the core competencies of college students. In addition, it was confirmed that learners showed results such as specific reflection on core competencies, changes in perspective, and action plans, so that the possibility of actual application was high.

The effects of a maternal nursing competency reinforcement program on nursing students' problem-solving ability, emotional intelligence, self-directed learning ability, and maternal nursing performance in Korea: a randomized controlled trial

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a maternal nursing competency reinforcement program for nursing students and assess the program's effectiveness in Korea. Methods: The maternal nursing competency reinforcement program was developed following the ADDIE model. This study employed an explanatory sequential mixed methods design that applied a non-blinded, randomized controlled trial with nursing students (28 experimental, 33 control) followed by open-ended interviews with a subset (n=7). Data were analyzed by both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. Results: Repeated measures analysis of variance showed that significant differences according to group and time in maternal nursing performance; assessment of and intervention in postpartum uterine involution and vaginal discharge (F=24.04, p<.001), assessment of and intervention in amniotic membrane rupture (F=36.39, p<.001), assessment of and intervention in delivery process through vaginal examination (F=32.42, p<.001), and nursing care of patients undergoing induced labor (F=48.03, p<.001). Group and time improvements were also noted for problem-solving ability (F=9.73, p<.001) and emotional intelligence (F=4.32, p=.016). There were significant differences between groups in self-directed learning ability (F=13.09, p=.001), but not over time. The three main categories derived from content analysis include "learning with a colleague by simulation promotes self-reflection and learning," "improvement in maternal nursing knowledge and performance by learning various countermeasures," and "learning of emotionally supportive care, but being insufficient." Conclusion: The maternal nursing competency reinforcement program can be effectively utilized to improve maternal nursing performance, problem-solving ability, and emotional intelligence for nursing students.

시뮬레이션을 적용한 방문건강관리 실습교육 프로그램이 방문간호 지식, 문제해결 능력, 임상수행 능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of the Home Health Nursing Practical Education Program Applying Simulation on Knowledge related Home Health Nursing, Problem-solving Ability, and Clinical Competency)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생들을 대상으로 시뮬레이션을 적용한 방문건강관리 실습교육 프로그램을 적용한 효과를 확인하기 위해 실시되었다. 일개 간호대학생 60명에게 비동등성 대조군 유사 실험연구를 수행하였고, 개발한 시뮬레이션을 적용한 방문건강관리 실습교육 프로그램을 2주간 실시하였다. 자료 수집 기간은 2021년 3월 29일부터 5월 7일이며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS PC+ 19.0을 사용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 효과 검증한 결과 방문간호 지식, 문제해결 능력, 임상 수행 능력에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 개발된 시뮬레이션을 적용한 방문건강관리 실습교육 프로그램은 간호대학생의 방문간호지식, 문제해결 능력을 높이고 임상수행 능력을 높여 방문건강관리를 수행할 수 있는 역량이 증진됨을 확인하였다.

하브루타 학습법의 사용이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 문제해결능력 및 자아존중감에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of the Education Applying Havruta's Method on Communication Competency, Problem Solving Capabilit, and Self-Esteem of Nursing Students')

  • 본 연구는 하브루타 학습법의 사용이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 문제해결능력 및 자아존중감에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 시행되었다. 본 연구는 간호대학생 3학년 중 성인간호학 수업을 수강한 학생 93명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 2023학년 1학기 시작과 종료 시점에 2회 자가보고식 설문조사를 통해 수집되었고, SPSS 23.0 program을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 하브루타 학습법을 사용한 간호대학생의 문제해결능력(t=3.31, p=.001), 자아존중감(t=2.84, p=.019), 문제해결능력의 9개 하위요소에서도 모두 유의하게 높았다. 그러나 의사소통능력(t=1.78, p=.079)은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구 결과로 하브루타 학습법이 간호대학생의 역량을 증진시키는 것으로 나타나 향후 하브루타 학습법의 적용이 확대되어야 할 것이며, 친구 가르치기와 문제 만들기 이외의 다양한 하브루타 학습법을 적용한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

수학교과역량과 수학교사의 담론적 역량 (A mathematics teacher's discursive competence on the basis of mathematical competencies)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수학교과역량을 바탕으로 수학교사의 담론적 역량을 분석하여 구체화하는 것이다. 이를 위해 학생들의 참여를 촉진하기 위해 20년 이상 교수법을 변화시킨 중학교 교사의 수업을 한 학기 동안 관찰하여 자료를 수집하고 담론을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 교사는 문제해결 역량에서 문제 이해를 위해 학생들이 수학적으로 중요한 요소에 초점을 맞추게 하고, 추론 역량에서 수학적 정당화의 필요성 이해를 위해 사고를 명확히 하는 교사의 담론적 역량이 있었다. 그리고 창의 융합 역량에서 동료의 풀이 방법 공유와 다른 풀이 방법 활용을 격려하기 위해 논의를 생성하는 교사의 담론적 역량이 있었고 의사소통 역량에서 다양한 수학적 표현의 필요성과 차이점 협의를 위해 수학적 관계를 탐구하는 교사의 담론적 역량이 있었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 수학 교수를 위해 필요한 교수학적 내용 지식을 바탕으로 실행을 통합할 수 있는 아이디어를 제안함으로써 향후 교사교육과정 개발에 구체적인 방향성을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

중학생을 위한 제로에너지 주택디자인 STEAM 교육프로그램 개발 연구 (A Study on the STEAM Program Development of Zero Energy House Design for Middle School Students)

  • STEAM education is an effective teaching method to develop self-problem-solving skills through creative thinking. In order to revitalize STEAM education, various program models are being developed recently. The purpose of this study is to develop a STEAM education program based on the project-based learing method that includes the process of solving global environmental problems. The STEAM element was extracted by linking the zero energy house design with the middle school curriculum, and the STEAM education program was developed considering career activities. It was analyzed whether the developed program can improve STEAM core competence and job preparation ability. The education program was conducted for middle school students and the program was evaluated through questionnaires. In order to strengthen the STEAM competency, project-based learning method was applied and it was able to enhance the active problem solving ability of learners. In addition, opportunities for career experience could be provided through career exploration programs and various activities. Through this STEAM education program, it is expected to contribute to cultivating human resources with convergence knowledge and core competency.

Development and evaluation of a pediatric nursing competency-building program for nursing students in South Korea: a quasi-experimental study

  • Purpose: The present study aimed to develop and examine the effectiveness of a pediatric nursing competency-building program for nursing students. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design conducted between October and December 2021. The participants included 40 nursing students (20 each in the experimental and control groups) at a university in a South Korean city. The pediatric nursing competency-building program integrated problem-based learning and simulation into clinical field practice. The experimental group participated in the program, while the control group did not. Data were analyzed using the 𝑥2 test, the independent t-test, and repeated-measures analysis of variance. Results: Pediatric nursing competency and clinical performance showed a greater increase in the experimental group than in the control group. However, the change in problem-solving ability in the experimental group was not significantly different from that in the control group. Conclusion: The pediatric nursing competency-building program effectively improved students' pediatric nursing competency and clinical performance.

광주광역시 치과위생사의 NCS 기반 직업기초능력 우선순위 분석 (Priority analysis of NCS based vocational core competency of dental hygienists in Gwangju)

  • Objectives: This study aims to investigate and analyzed the priority of vocational core competency factors in dental hygienists in Gwangju. Methods: Expert survey was conducted and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) was applied to evaluate the weighting factors. First, we established the vocational core competency defined in NCS as AHP analysis model. The vocational core competency has 10 categories and 34 sub-categories. Secondly, AHP survey was conducted by 195 dental hygienists in Gwangju. Finally, the weights representing relative importance of each factor were calculated by using AHP method. Results: The AHP analysis on 10 categories showed that the weighting of interpersonal skills(0.165) was higher than any other categories while that of numeracy(0.035) was at the bottom, and the analysis on sub-categories revealed that the most important factors in each categories included the teamwork skills(interpersonal skills), problem-solving capability(problem-solving skills), listening skills(communication skills), ethical community(professional ethics), ability to understand business(ability to understand organizational structure), applicable technical skills(technical skills), self-management skills(self-development capability), information processing capabilities(information capacity), ability to manage time(resource management capabilities) and basic math skills(numeracy). Conclusions: The results in this study can be used as basic data for the development of liberal arts curriculum for dental hygiene education.
