The purpose of this study was to extract important problem features for care of senile dementia patients. Selected cognitive ability test (Korean Mini-Mental State Examination: K-MMSE) and survey of basic & problem characteristics were conducted on 110 hospitalized senile dementia patients and 30 normal subjects. Problem features of senile dementia patients were extracted using factor analysis. The frequency difference of problem features due to the gender and dementia severities was verified using one-way ANOVA. Twenty problem features were extracted by the factor analysis. According to the gender, there are significant differences in the frequency of problem features in violent language & confabulation, collecting behavior, and repetitive behavior. According to the dementia severities, there are significant differences in the frequency of all problem features except abnormal sexual behavior and audio-visual disorder. The result of this study is expected to be used for the development of the senile dementia patients' life-care monitoring system.

Objective : The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between problem drinking and sensory processing features in college students. Methods : From April to June in 2015, mentally healthy 162 college students were completed the questionnaire for problem drinking and sensory processing features. Both Adolescent/Adult Sensory Profile and Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test-Korean were used as measurements for correlation. Results : Depends on the existence of the problem drinking, there was no statistical differences between groups in sensory processing features. In group of problem drinking, the result indicated the positive correlation between problem drinking and sensory processing feature (r=.195). Conclusion : Problem drinking had significant relationship with sensory sensitivity. Therapists should understand the features of college students with problem drinking. It would be desirable to develop a proper evaluation and intervention programs for these people.

This paper presents solution heuristics to solving optimal multiple-viewpoint location problems that are based on topographic features. The visibility problem is to maximise the viewshed area for a set of viewpoints on digital elevation models (DEM). For this analysis, five areas are selected, and fundamental topographic features (peak, pass, and pit) are extracted from the DEMs of the study areas. To solve the visibility problem, at first, solution approaches based on the characteristics of the topographic features are explored, and then, a benchmark test is undertaken that solution performances of the solution methods, such as computing times, and visible area sizes, are compared with the performances of traditional spatial heuristics. The feasibility of the solution methods, then, are discussed with the benchmark test results. From the analysis, this paper can conclude that fundamental topographic features based solution methods suggest a new sight of visibility analysis approach which did not discuss in traditional algorithmic approaches. Finally, further research avenues are suggested such as exploring more sophisticated selection process of topographic features related to visibility analysis, exploiting systematic methods to extract topographic features, and robust spatial analytical techniques and optimization techniques that enable to use the topographic features effectively.
Selected cognitive ability test and survey of basic & problem characteristics were conducted on 110 hospitalized senile dementia patients to extract important problem features. Twenty important problem features were extracted by the factor analysis. In this study, the precedence of the risk of 20 problem features was determined for care of senile dementia patients. Questionnaire was conducted on 32 clinical psychologists who had experienced the diagnosis and treatment of senile dementia patients. Using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), relative risk levels were studied and the precedence of risk was determined by making 20 important problem features in order of the risk. Results of two analyses indicated that during normal daily activities of senile dementia patients the cognitive problem such as memory impairment, judgement disorder and disorientation is the most dangerous risk factor.

Genetic algorithm is one of the best ways to solve a discrete variable optimization problem. Genetic algorithm tends to thrive in an environment in which the search space is uneven and has many hills and valleys. In this study, genetic algorithm is used for solving the design problem of gable structure. The design problem of frame structure has some special features(complicate design space, many nonlinear constrants, integer design variables, termination conditions, special information for frame members, etc.), and these features must be considered in the formulation of optimization problem and the application of genetic algorithm. So, 'FRAME operator', a new genetic operator for solving the frame optimization problem effectively, is developed and applied to the design problem of gable structure. This example shows that the new opreator has the possibility to be an effective frame design operator and genetic algorithm is suitable for the frame optimization problem.

Dynamic changes in the field of labor relations have become a general trend in the world practice. These changes are due the impact of globalization and technological innovation above all. Concept of "precarization of employment" appeared due the new emerging labor relations. This term has been used for more than thirty-five years, but there is still no generally accepted definition of it. A wide range of authors' viewpoints on problem of precarization makes it vague and impossible to strictly to identify its borders. Features of its manifestations in different countries also complicate the problem. Kazakhstan is a country with export-oriented economy of raw materials. At the same time government try to solve the problem for the industrial-innovative development of the economy. These two factors bring additional specific features in the manifestation of the precarization of employment in the country. The aim of the paper is to identify the features of "precarization of employment" concept in Kazakhstan's practice, based on the proposed definition.
Deep learning approach is emerging as a new way to improve the accuracy of tree species identification using bark image. However, the approach has not been studied enough because it is confronted with the problem of acquiring a large volume of bark image dataset. This study solved this problem by utilizing a pretrained off-the-shelf DCNN model. It compares the discrimination power of bark features extracted by each DCNN model. Then it extracts the features by using a selected DCNN model and feeds them to a multi-layer perceptron (MLP). We found out that the ResNet50 model is effective in extracting bark features and the MLP could be trained well with the features reduced by the principal component analysis. The proposed approach gives accuracy of 99.1% and 98.4% for BarkTex and Trunk12 datasets respectively.
In this paper, we present a phrase break prediction method using CRF(Conditional Random Fields), which has good performance at classification problems. The phrase break prediction problem was mapped into a classification problem in our research. We trained the CRF using the various linguistic features which was extracted from POS(Part Of Speech) tag, lexicon, length of word, and location of word in the sentences. Combined linguistic features were used in the experiments, and we could collect some linguistic features which generate good performance in the phrase break prediction. From the results of experiments, we can see that the proposed method shows improved performance on previous methods. Additionally, because the linguistic features are independent of each other in our research, the proposed method has higher flexibility than other methods.
As the networks connect the world, enterprises tend to move manufacturing activities into virtual spaces. Since different software applications use different data terminology, it becomes a problem to interoperate, interchange, and manage electronic data among heterogeneous systems. It is said that approximately one billion dollar has been being spent yearly in USA for product data exchange and interoperability. As commercial CAD systems have brought in the concept of design feature for the sake of interoperability, terminologies of design features need to be harmonized. In order to define design feature terminology for integration, knowledge about feature definitions of different CAD systems should be considered. STEP standard have attempted to solve this problem, but it defines only syntactic data representation so that semantic data integration is not possible. This paper proposes a methodology for integrating modeling features of CAD systems. We utilize the ontology concept to build a data model of design features which can be a semantic standard of feature definitions of CAD systems. Using feature ontology, we implement an integrated virtual database and a simple system which searches and edits design features in a semantic way.
