In this paper, a new mode changeable asymmetric full bridge dc/dc converter is proposed to solve the freewheeling current problem of the conventional zero voltage switching(ZVS) phase shift full bridge(PSFB) dc/dc converter of low output voltage and high output current applications. The proposed converter is operated as an asymmetric full bridge converter when the duty cycle is less than 50% and active clamp full bridge converter when the duty cycle is greater than 50%. As a result, since its freewheeling current is eliminated, the conduction loss is lower than that of the conventional ZVS PSFB dc/dc converter. Moreover, ZVS of all power switches can be ensured along a wide load ranges and output current ripple is very small. Therefore, high efficiency of the proposed converter can be achieved. Especially since its operation mode is changed to the active clamp full bridge converter during hold up time and can be operated with 50~100% duty ratio, it can produce the stable output voltage along wide input voltage range. The operational principles, theoretical analysis and design considerations are presented. To confirm the operation, validity and features of the proposed converter, experimental results from a 1.2kW($400V_{dc}/12V_{dc}$) prototype are presented.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, the global economy has stagnated and our daily lives have changed. The rural economy is also experiencing damage, such as an average of 65% or more decrease in the number of visitors to rural experience resort villages due to the spread of COVID-19. In order to minimize the damage arising from the prolonged coronavirus, a hospitality system in response to changes in rural tourism behavior and consumer demand is needed to revitalize rural areas and maintain continuous economic independence. Therefore, this study attempted to find ways to utilize landscape resources such as education, culture, history, and ecology in order to complement the existing experience programs in connection with local resources and local environment. Wibong Village, which is the subject of the study, attempted to revitalize the village using the resources through the "Creative village creation" project in 2015. Due to poor management of historical resources, difficulty in operating experience programs, and response to changes in the natural environment, the rate of implementation of the project plan was very low. Currently, the demand for experience is also decreasing due to the COVID-19 effect, so it was judged that it was necessary to develop an experience village program suitable for the needs of experienced visitors by discovering additional local resources for the continuous operation of the experience village. In order to solve the problem of the use of landscape resources and the spatial composition of the study site, additional investigations of local resources were made, and an experience program course that could be operated by theme was proposed by configuring a space suitable for the use of landscape resources. By dividing the additionally investigated landscape resources into history, ecology, and region, an experiential course was created to separate the traffic lines, and the space composition for large-scale experienced visitors that had been previously operated was constructed in a form suitable for the post-corona era. In addition, at least two experiential tour courses that can be operated by period were proposed to maintain economic effects. Starting with this study, if further research on the creation and spatial composition of a rural experience village centered on the connection with the region, it will be used as research results that can be referenced in projects such as village creation, rural space planning, and living area analysis. It is expected that it will be able to effectively cope with the construction of a rural area suitable for the post-corona era, where demand is expected to increase in the future.
This research aims to provide a solution for the improvement of private security according to the change in criminal environment. The main cause of crime can be found in the anti-functional dimensions including value set disorder, social phenomenon variation, information-based, globalization and urbanization. In this environment, the private security sector has dramatically increased in a quantitative viewpoint, but it is insufficient in a qualitative viewpoint. This paper recognized this problem and demonstrates a solution for improvement through classifying elements of private security into relevant legislation, education institutions, security companies and security associations. The analysis result is a follows: First, motivation and satisfaction rate of escort and security related major has shown to be high. However, respondents evaluated the guard educational institution negatively. Second, the motivation of entering into the private security sector for internal staffs has shown to be positive and sound. However, the job satisfaction rate has shown to be low due to excessive competition, negative perception of occupation and low earning. Third, respondents gave an average mark to the Security Association's management and operation. In addition, the mutual-aid project received the same mark. Negative feedbacks were given to the protection of member's interest and to association operation and policy, while positive feedbacks were given to the degree of member's cooperation towards association policies.
Recently, our society has been changing its population structure due to low birth rate along with the extension of life span due to the development of medical environment and improvement of living environment. It was not long before the population became older, and the problem of the elderly was amplified by generational conflict. The current generation of senior citizens could not afford to prepare for their own retirement income due to their children's education, marriage and housing problems, and is a generation alienated from the benefits of public income security. In addition, not only are they in poverty with rapid industrialization, informatization and economic instability, but they are also threatened with livelihood. The increase in elderly crimes arising from the elderly, who are less adaptable to our society dominated by materialism, is being highlighted as a new social issue. In this study, we are going to analyze the causes of violent and violent senior citizens' crimes in quality along with quantitative growth, and present criminal situations and preventive measures using 10 years of data, judging that this is a time when a national response is needed through a social discussion on crimes committed by senior citizens in our society, where the pace of aging is unprecedentedly fast in the world In order to achieve this research objective, various opinions and statistical data of our society where the standards of senior citizens are changing were reviewed, and analysis of crimes was conducted on literature utilizing data of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office, the National Police Agency, and the National Statistical Office, recent press releases, and existing research materials. In this study, we will diagnose crimes committed by senior citizens in various aspects, including the characteristics of the elderly and the view of the elderly in the present society, and explore the direction of development for the prevention of future crimes as well.

Microinjection of recombinant retrovirus beneath the blastoderm of non-incubated chicken embryo is now the most widespread method for generating transgenic chickens, but transgenesis rates are very low. So to improve this problem, we first introduced retrovirus vector carrying RSV-GFP gene to an one-cell embryo culture system. To investigate whether retrovirus could work on an one-cell chicken embryo, we microinjected the concentrated retrovirus stocks into the germinal disc of one cell or stage-X chicken embryos. Analysis of reporter gene expression on day 4 embryos showed that GFP expression was observed in the only stage-X chicken embryo but was not in the one-cell embryo group. These results suggest that retrovirus system is the most efficient method to generate transgenic chickens in the stage-X embryo.
Distributed Models have relative weak points due to the amount of computer memory and calculation time required for calculating water flow using a numerical analysis based on kinematic wave theory when compared to the conceptual models used so far. Typically, the distributed models have been mainly applied to small basins. It was necessary to decrease the resolution of the grid to make it applicable for large scale watersheds, and because it would take up too much time to calculate using a higher resolution. That has been one of the more difficult factors in applying the model for actual work. In this paper, MPI (Message Passing Interface) technique was applied to solve the problem of calculation time as it is one of the demerits of the distributed model for performing physical and complicated numerical calculations for large scale watersheds. The comparison studies were performed a single domain and a divided small domain in Yongdam Dam watershed in case of typoon 'Ewiniar' at 2006. They were compared to analyze the application effects of parallelization technique. As a result, a maximum of 10 times the amount of calculation time was saved but keeping the level of quality for discharge by using parallelization code rather than a single processor.
Incident detection rate and false alarm rate are the key measures tot estimating the performance of automatic incident detection algorithms. It is, however inherently very difficult to improve the two measures simultaneously. The main purpose of this study is to present some methods for solving the problem. For this, an incident detection algorithm has been designed in this study. The algorithm is consisted of two functions, one for detecting incident and another for detecting congestion. A logic for distinguishing non-recurrent congestion from recurrent congestion was employed in the algorithm. The new algorithm basically requires speed, flow, and occupancy data for defining incident situation, but the algorithm is able to perform this task without one of the three parameters. The performance of the algorithm has been evaluated by using the field data collected from Interstate Highway 880 in Bay Area, California. The empirical analysis results are very promising and thus, the algorithm proposed may be very useful for the analysts. This paper presents some empirical test results for the performance of California incident detection algorithm, only for the reference purpose.
As a city and industries are developed rapidly, a traffic accident and congestion take places on the road link become serious and it can be a large problem of the society in the future. Especially, most of the traffic accidents on the signalized intersection are caused by the human factor, vehicle and environmental factor mutually. The relation of the traffic accident and volume is acting on the outbreak of the traffic accident and the mistake of driver altogether as a major cause. The purpose of this paper is to develop a model for the forecasting of the traffic accident and to use research data gained to predict many traffic accidents. The data of this study were used with real one of the 73 areas of the four-legged signalized intersection in Kwang-ju city from 1996 to 1998 for three years to develop a model for the forecasting of the traffic accident. The statistical methods used in this paper are the principal component, regression and correlation analysis. We studied accident models to find out useful data from the statistics method and applied the data to the different area of the Choun-La province for the verification of the model. So, the result of this paper showed a reasonable model for the forecasting or the traffic accident and possibility of the model for simulating on real case. Finally, This study would be made of a study continually for the safe design and plan for the four-legged signalized intersection.

As shown by the popularity of the rapid train in the Seoul Metro Line No. 9, the demand for the rapidization of the metro transit has been continuously increased. However, it needs tremendous cost to construct new additional infrastructures to the existing line for the rapidization. In order to overcome the problem, utilizing the existing infrastructures such as crossing tracks as railroad sidetracks can be considered to be a good method of reducing the cost. In this case, there is a way exploiting the existing train as an express train and the advanced train, which increases both acceleration and deceleration, as a local train, but achievable acceleration and deceleration have not been analyzed rigorously. In this paper, we analyze feasible ranges and optimal values of both acceleration and deceleration of the advanced train analytically when we consider the rapidization of the metro transit utilizing the existing infrastructures and verify the results in Seoul Metro Line No. 3. Simulation results show ranges and optimal values of achievable acceleration and deceleration exist when minimum gap between an express train and a local train is smaller than 40 seconds.
There are many limitations in dealing with rapidly changing traffic demand in urban cities. Thus recently, traffic operation and management skills are more emphasized rather than the expansion of traffic facilities. In particular, in the interrupted flow formed by signalized intersections, it is quite important to give optimal signal timing to each intersection with consideration of progression. However, as fixed signal times per direction can affect passing capacity in signalized intersections, the present four-signal phase including a left-turn signal has many limitations, including reduction of directional road capacity when traffic demand is increases dramatically during peak hours. Because of this problem, lots of studies about internal metering techniques for oversaturated signal control skills have progressed but these techniques are not used widely due to the absence of detectors for queue sensing in real-time signal control systems. In this research, a new methodology called the "restrictive left-turn signal control", which is already used at the intersection above Samsung subway station, is suggested in order to reduce control delay of urban arterial roads. The restrictive left-turn signal control allows a driver to make a U-turn and then a right turn instead of turning left in that intersection. With this change, the restrictive left-turn signal control can contribute to increased intersection capacity by reducing the number of signal phases and maximizing the through phase time. However, road structure and traffic conditions at the target intersections should be considered before the adoption of the proposed signal control.
