  • In this paper, finite element method is applied to solve boundary control problem governed by elliptic variational inequality with an infinite number of variables. First, we introduce some important features of the finite element method, boundary control problem governed by elliptic variational inequalities with an infinite number of variables in the case of the control and observation are on the boundary is introduced. We prove the existence of the solution by using the augmented Lagrangian multipliers method. A triangular type finite element method is used.

  • Two inertial extragradient-type algorithms are introduced for solving convex pseudomonotone variational inequalities with fixed point problems, where the associated mapping for the fixed point is a 𝜌-demicontractive mapping. The algorithm employs variable step sizes that are updated at each iteration, based on certain previous iterates. One notable advantage of these algorithms is their ability to operate without prior knowledge of Lipschitz-type constants and without necessitating any line search procedures. The iterative sequence constructed demonstrates strong convergence to the common solution of the variational inequality and fixed point problem under standard assumptions. In-depth numerical applications are conducted to illustrate theoretical findings and to compare the proposed algorithms with existing approaches.

  • In this paper, we propose a new inertial subgradient extragradient algorithm with a new linesearch technique that combines the inertial subgradient extragradient algorithm and the KrasnoselskiiMann algorithm. Under some suitable conditions, we prove a weak convergence theorem of the proposed algorithm for finding a common element of the common solution set of a finitely many variational inequality problem and the fixed point set of a nonexpansive mapping in real Hilbert spaces. Moreover, using our main result, we derive some others involving systems of variational inequalities. Finally, we give some numerical examples to support our main result.

  • In this study, we explored the role of analysis in the algebra development. For this, we classified ancient geometric analysis into an analysis by reduction and a Pappusian problematic analysis. this shows that both analyses have the function of reduction. Pappus' analysis consists of four steps; transformation, resolution, construction, demonstration. The transformation, by which conditions of given problem is transformed into other conditions which suggest a problem-solving, seems to be a kind of reduction. Mathematicians created new problems as a result of the reductional function of analysis, and became to see mathematics in the different view. An analytical thinking was a background at the birth of symbolic algebra, the reductional function of analysis played an important role in the development of symbolic algebra.

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is body parameters characteristics through posture analysis system of musculoskeletal problem patient Methods : Posture analysis system were performed for 164 patients to measure body parameters such as Q-angle, body inclination, neck inclination, PCMT(posterior cervical muscle tension), Knee flexion and posture balance. Statistical analysis using statistical analysis techniques and Pearson correlation coefficients was performed to assess the body parameters obtained by posture analysis system. Results : More than half of people out of 164 reported low back pain, 34.8% of the total was found to have neck pain. There was not a significant difference between genders from the characteristics of gender based body parameters expect for the statistical difference in Q angle, PCMT. There was a significant correlation between low back pain and multiple response status. There was a significant correlations between knee pain and Q angle. Also There was a significant correlations between pelvic pain and posture balance of ankle. Conclusions : Posture analysis system can be used to perform the analysis in place of X-ray measuring body posture and clinical parameters. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for further research on the clinical application of posture analysis system.

  • Recently, as aviation industry has been activated, development of software related to composite materials has been demanded. Composite analysis requires specialized structural analysis and test evaluation. Therefore, it is necessary to use existing commercial software to analyze the composite structure, but existing commercial software only provides limited functions. Especially, since there is no specialized software for corner structure analysis of aerospace composites spa structure, much human resources and time are consumed in structural analysis. In order to solve this problem, we developed a GUI-based automation software based on user-friendly GUI that reflects the existing corner structure analysis procedure and provides multiple breakdown criteria. To verify the reliability of the structural analysis results of the developed software, it was confirmed that there is no problem in the structural analysis performance as a result of comparing with the existing analysis results.

  • Recently, intelligent Android malicious codes have become difficult to detect malicious behavior by static analysis alone. Malicious code with SO file, dynamic loading, and string obfuscation are difficult to extract information about original code even with various tools for static analysis. There are many dynamic analysis methods to solve this problem, but dynamic analysis requires rooting or emulator environment. However, in the case of dynamic analysis, malicious code performs the rooting and the emulator detection to bypass the analysis environment. To solve this problem, this paper investigates a variety of root detection schemes and builds an environment for bypassing the rooting detection in real devices. In addition, SDK code hooking module for Android malicious code analysis is designed using Xposed, and intent tracking for code flow, dynamic loading file information, and various API information extraction are implemented. This work will contribute to the analysis of obfuscated information and behavior of Android Malware.

  • This study was designed to investigate the possibility that the optimization problem solving activities based on the instrumented CAS can have an influence on the sequence of mathematics curriculum in secondary mathematics education. Some optimization problem solving activities based on CAS were constructed and executed to eleventh grade(the penultimate year of Korean high school) 7 students for nine class hours. They have experienced using CAS in mathematics class for three months, but never learned calculus. The data which consists of classroom observations(audio and video taped) and post-unit interviews with students were analyzed. In the analysis, with CAS, students can highly deal with the applied optimization problems made up of calculus, cubic equation, solution of radical equation, and graph analysis which never learned. This result shows CAS may have an influence on the sequence of mathematics curriculum in secondary mathematics education.

  • Recently, corporate environment is faced with uncertainty that did not suffer in the past. In addition, as the supply chain was expanded and lengthened, the flow of information and material was complicated. Increase in complexity which amplifies the variability of the individual steps in supply chains further adds to the uncertainty. The bullwhip effect that refers the phenomenon where order variability increases as the orders move upstream in the supply chain became serious. The bullwhip effect is more and more important especially for the enterprise in the supply chain. So, there are many studies now since it was observed about 100 years ago. The aim of this paper is to analyze how to solve the bullwhip effect by using TRIZ (Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskikh Zadach). TRIZ is one of the most famous tools for creative solving that applied in many fields ranging from management as well as engineering. Among problems, the dilemma needs creative solutions that require handling the contradictions inherent in that. Among various kinds of problem solving techniques, TRIZ provides the concept of physical contradiction as a common problem solving principle. This study provides a simple process of solving problem explains a case of solving problem in the management field and shows the availability of theory in the inventory control. In accordance with the proposed solving process, the paper analyzes the bullwhip effect by applying the TRIZ tools and then identifies the solution directions. Next, the current studies are classified by the above analysis and important managerial concepts are proposed. Lastly, directions for future research on this area are suggested.

  • This study was carried out in order to identify the error types of statistical graphs for statistical literacy education. We analyze the meaning of using graphs in statistical problem solving, and identify categories, frequencies, and contexts as the components of statistical graphs. Error types of representing categories and frequencies make statistics consumers see incorrect distributions of data by subjective point of view of statistics producers and visual illusion. Error types of providing contexts hinder the interpretation of statistical information by concealing or twisting the contexts of data. Moreover, the findings show that tasks provide standardized frame already for drawing graphs in order to avoid errors and pay attention to the process of drawing the graph rather than statistical literacy for analyzing data. We suggest some implications about statistical literacy education, ethical problems, and knowledge for teaching to be considered when teaching the statistical graph in elementary mathematics classes.
