  • The similar point of the 19 regional industrial clusters of Japan is that all of the clusters are not limited to an administrational district but rather covers a larger area. When a cluster covers a larger area, there is problem of acquiring responsible businesses and interactive planing. In order to overcome such a problem, private coordinating organizations have been installed and operated to connect and manage inter-activities of industries, universities, and research institutes. TAMA, a private coordinating organization, differs from other associations in a way that it does not deal with one specific field or business. TAMA rather dealswith various product-developing small to middle size companies by offering strategic support for the development of new technologies and expansion of new businesses. Product-developing small to middle size companies comparatively have their own abilities for technological development and marketing which is quite different from other subcontract companies and their relations to large corporations. In such aspect, product-developing companies are actually similar to large corporations with competitiveness in the world market.

  • The suggestions that follow are about the plan for the cooperation between private security and local government and the enhancement of its service for facing the change of public peace environment. Fist, by a local government collecting funds, the business for revitalization of local economics should be done to enhance local economic independence. Second, the autonomous right of a local government should be reinforced and the center for taking complete charge of local security should be established in the self-governing body. Third, the private security should be connected with the local characteristics, the role of which enlarged as well. For this developing the model of security service for the local area and working together between private security and police should be achieved. Fourth, it is necessary for a local government to entrust the private security with its public security service. For this it should be achieved to set up the range of local security service and inform local residents of the advantage of security service entrusted to private security. Finally, in connection with the new system of local police, it is necessary to have clear grasp of the work related to the private security among local police services and private security business and local police should take partial charge of the public peace service. Through the cooperation between private security and local government, the role of private security will be enlarged and its business revitalized as well.

  • This study is trying to analyse the private security prevention role of citizen, For this analyse the public opinion survey on the crime prevention of the private security was carried in Kyungnam area about the crime prevention system and the storage and institution, the role of the crime prevention of private security etc. So that, we have experimented a fact-finding survey about civil consciousness. The result of this fact-finding survey about crime prevention system is on the hand pointed out the circumscription of the police power, and the other hand they have the age-old ceremonies on the dependence about police system. Because the public security order needs the compelling power to maintenance the peace and this power is exercising only by police. They don't have the trust about the role of the private security as the crime prevention institution. But, they consider the private security is just for anyone in particular and special class by their demand. And also, they consider the private security is very expensive to utilize for their security in the everyday life. There for, some people have trust for the private security and if they have a chance for the security, they consider to utilize the private security for their safe life as an security agency. The private security has a powerful experts and so many high-tech equipments for the security. Thus, we have to find a solution to get the best out of it. Because the private security is also a part of crime prevention institution as the police agency.

For the purpose, we analyze the spatial characteristics of various types of tutoring institutes in the Seoul Metropolitan area. In particular, we exam the spatial distribution patterns of attendants of tutoring institutes by institution type as well as the resident population by attendant age group. By applying spatial autocorrelation analysis, we examine the spatial clustering patterns of tutoring institutes and attendants by type. The results show distinct differences in the spatial distribution patterns by tutoring institute type as well as by attendant age group. We found significant socio-economic variables which influence on the spatial distribution of tutoring institutes. Finally, we propose private tutoring service provision models constructed with these variables through multiple regression analysis.

Additionally in person-based analysis, number of tuberculosis patients, demographic characteristics, number of treatments per person, frequency and pattern of change in source of care were analyzed. The results were as follows 1. The number of treatments with tuberculosis was 863,641 from 1 December 1995 to 30 November 1996. The number of patients was 313.964. 2. • This paper reviews the achievements of the infrastructure investment policies since around 1990 and identifies policy area in which further efforts should be made. Traditional definition of social overhead capital has implied that the government should be the main, if not sole, supplier of the service. However, many sectors or sub-sectors of infrastructure investment and service allow room for private sector involvement. Expanding the role of the private sector will supplement the resources of the public sector, but more importantly, introduce competition in infrastructure provision. Competition will enhance the efficiency even a particular service remains in the hand public supplier. Private sector involvement, however, raises special problems in Koran context. They are the concentration of the Capital region and regional imbalance; excessive economic powers of large business conglomerator, so-called land problems. We examine each problems in detail and suggests possible solutions.

  • Due to the great impact of private education expenses on many areas including economics and politics, reducing private education expenses is one of the key issues in Korea. In this paper, we analyze the data from a survey on private education expenses, conducted by Statistics, Korea, in 2008. We study the effect of some demographic variables on two dependent variables, the expenses for out-of-school private education (Private) and the expenses for after-school programs (Afterschool), by using a multiple linear regression model. The analysis results show that 'residential area' and 'school level' variables have a significant effect on the two dependent variables. 'Private' increases in the order of small town, middle town, or metropolitan city, and Seoul, by about 7%. On the other hand, 'Afterschool' are about the same for all areas except for the small town. In terms of the effect of 'school level', 'Private' for high school students is about 17% larger than all other students including professional high school students. This shows a strong correlation between university admission and private education, in Korea. 'Afterschool' is larger for high school and elementary school students and decreases in the order of professional school students and middle school students. It seems that after-school programs are alternatives to expensive private education programs for elementary school students, and that high school students are attracted to after-school programs to get a good GPA, which is important for university admissions.

The research method has been changed to structured data to allow an analysis of various scattered unstructured data, and the keywords trend and related words by duties of private security were analyzed in growth period of private security. The perception of private security based on the results of the study was exposed a lot by the media through various crimes, accidents and incidents, and the issues related permanent position. Also, it tended to be perceived as a simple security guard, not recognized as the area of private security, and judging from the high correlation between private security and police, it was recognized not only as a role to assist the police force, but also as a common agent in charge of the public peace. Therefore, it should objectively judge the perception of private security, and through this, it is believed that it should be a foundation for recognizing private security as a main agent responsible for the safety of the nation and maintaining social orders.

The objects of analysis and the plans are 333 example(235 of $84m^2$, 98 of $59m^2$) from the LH corporation competition. The design tendency of balcony space after extension is as follows; First, a type of extension for simple area to increase the area of room adjacent to balcony through balcony extension. Second, a type of functional reinforcement for private room to separate the mixed function followed by strengthening the individual function of the private room.
