  • Given c, a positive integer, we set. $$M(f,c):=\frac{2}{{\phi}(f)}\sum_{{\chi}{\in}X^-_f}{\chi}(c)|L(1,{\chi})|^2$$, where $X^-_f$ is the set of the $\phi$(f)/2 odd Dirichlet characters mod f > 2, with gcd(f, c) = 1. We point out several mistakes in recently published papers and we give explicit closed formulas for the f's such that their prime divisors are all equal to ${\pm}1$ modulo c. As a Corollary, we obtain closed formulas for M(f, c) for c $\in$ {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10}. We also discuss the case of twisted quadratic moments for primitive characters.

  • This research searched characteristic of expression of Surrealism in Fashion Art which is new genre as source of design origination and classified as type of Time, Instinct, Existence and analyzed these and after analyzed result, it tried to verify the value aesthetically and followed by compared characteristic of expression in Surrealism appeared in Art based on content of type of expression that deduced and discussed it. Also comparing common characteristic appeared in Fashion Art in surrealism of the east and the west, it suggested discussion that try to find out identity that draw more near to Fashion Art. Results of research are as following these; Surrealist deliver sentiment and emotion that impossible to happen in reality and primitive thought by combination of unrealistic image and this tendency concreted by expression of Time, Expression of Instinct, expression of Existence. It appeared that deconstruct function and purpose of Fashion Art and existing traditional beauty of form and it is in collusion with way of expression of modelling used in Art of Surrealism those are Irregularity, Disorder, Imperfection and Dissymmetry.

  • The analysis revealed that the pattern represent the function of written language, the Miao's idea of nature as tie object of worship and exorcism, and their primitive thinking. The patterns are chiefly embroidered collars, shoulders of blouse, waist blind and hem lines of skirt. The design of patterns are animals and plants and geometrical figured. Most of patterns are dragon, fishes, birds, butterflies, which are liked by the Miao people. The patterns are highly imaginative and true to life, and are made with strong national and popular features.

  • In this paper we discover the generation principle of a sequence when the characteristic polynomial of the sequence is a power of a primitive polynomial. With the generation principle, we can rearrange a sequence. Also we get the linear complexity and the required term of the sequence efficiently.

  • 1. The isolated strips of guinea-pig, fowl and reptiles (snake and tortoise) showed consistenly excitatory responses to $PGE_1\;and\;E_2$, which were dose-dependent. 2. Frog intestine revealed inhibitory responses to both $PGE_1\;and\;PGE_2$ except a small of $PGE_2$ (1-10 ng/ml) caused slight contraction. 3. The intestines of pieces showed inconsistent responses to $PGE_1\;and\;E_2$. In fresh-water fish(carp), $PGE_1$ produced relaxation under the dose of 50 ng/ml, and contraction by the large doses, but $PGE_2$ consistently caused contraction in dose-dependent manner. However, the strips of sea-water fish revealed the different responses to PGE compound: $PGE_1$ caused relaxation and $PGE_2$ conversly contraction even though in small degree. 4. These results that there are genera differences in the responses of the longitudinal strips of intestine to $PGE_1\;and\;PGE_2$ was assumed to be possibly correlated with evolutionally primitive function of gut.

  • In this paper, we research the content-based analysis and classification according to the composition of the feature parameter data base for the audio data to implement the audio data index and searching system. Audio data is classified to the primitive various auditory types. We described the analysis and feature extraction method for the feature parameters available to the audio data classification. And we compose the feature parameters data base in the index group unit, then compare and analyze the audio data centering the including level around and index criterion into the audio categories. Based on this result, we compose feature vectors of audio data according to the classification categories, and simulate to classify using discrimination function.

  • Hash function is a cryptographic primitive which conduct authentication, signature and data integrity. Recently, Wang et al. found collision of standard hash function such as MD5, SHA-1. For that reason, National Security Research Institute in Korea suggests a secure structure and efficient hash function, LSH. LSH consists of three steps, initialization, compression, finalization and computes hash value using addition in modulo $2^W$, bit-wise substitution, word-wise substitution and bit-wise XOR. These operation is parallelizable because each step is independently conducted at the same time. In this paper, we analyse LSH structure and implement it over SIMD-SSE, AVX and demonstrate the superiority of LSH.

  • In this paper we analyze the code sequence generating algorism defined on $GF(2^n)$ proposed by S.Bostas and V.Kumar[7] and derive the implementation functions of code sequence generator using Boolean functions which can map the vector space $F_2^n$ of all binary vectors of length n, to the finite field with two elements $F_2$. We find the code sequence generating boolean functions based on two kinds of the primitive polynomials of degree, n=5 and n=7 from trace function. We then design and implement the code sequence generators using these functions, and produce two code sequence groups. The two groups have the period 31 and 127 and the magnitudes of out of phase(${\tau}{\neq}0$) autocorrelation and crosscorrelation functions {-9, -1, 7} and {-17, -1, 15}, satisfying the period $L=2^n-1$ and the correlation functions $R_{ij}({\tau})=\{-2^{(n+1)/2}-1,-1,2^{(n+l)/2}-1\}$ respectively. Through these results, we confirm that the code sequence generators using boolean functions are designed and implemented correctly.

  • Most of the past studies on FMS scheduling problems may be classified into two classes, namely off-line scheduling and on-line scheduling approach. The off-line scheduling methods are used mostly for FMS planning purposes and may not be useful real time control of FMSs, because it generates solutions only after a relatively long period of time. The on-line scheduling methods are used extensively for dynamic real-time control of FMSs although the performance of on-line scheduling algorithms tends vary dramatically depending on various configurations of FMS. Current study is about finding a better on-line scheduling rules for FMS operations. In this study, we propose a method to create priority functions that can be used in setting relative priorities among jobs or machines in on-line scheduling. The priority functions reflect the configuration of FMS and the user-defined objective functions. The priority functions are generated from diverse dispatching rules which may be considered a special priority functions by themselves, and used to determine the order of processing and transporting parts. Overall system of our work consists of two modules, the Priority Function Evolution Module (PFEM) and the FMS Simulation Module (FMSSM). The PFEM generates new priority functions using input variables from a terminal set and primitive functions from a function set by genetic programming. And the FMSSM evaluates each priority function by a simulation methodology. Based on these evaluated values, the PFEM creates new priority functions by using crossover, mutation operation and probabilistic selection. These processes are iteratively applied until the termination criteria are satisfied. We considered various configurations and objective functions of FMSs in our study, and we seek a workable solution rather than an optimum or near optimum solution in scheduling FMS operations in real time. To verify the viability of our approach, experimental results of our model on real FMS are included.

  • With recent advancement of remote sensing technology, a variety of data acquisition over the same area is achievable. An automated co-registration of heterogeneous airborne images is a critical step for change detection. This paper describes an automatic method for co-registration between digital image and existing building model. Optimal building models for co-registration purpose are extracted as primitives from existing building model database. A set of homologous features between straight lines extracted from aerial digital image and model primitive are computed based on geometric similarity function. With obtained homologous features, EO parameter is recomputed using least square method. The result shows that die suggested method automatically co-register two data set in a reliable manner.
