This paper explores how unequally successful mathematics practices were constructed in the two elementary mathematics classrooms. The interview data that pertain to the two teachers' personal reflections on the influences on their professional development were used as a source of inquiry to identify the underlying factors that might account for the differences and the similarities in implementing reform ideals in teaching mathematics. This affords not only exploration of the challenges of moving teaching practices toward student-centered approaches but also insight of the processes of developing mathematics teaching practices through teachers\`own career paths.

Over the years, the benefits of instructional manipulatives in mathematics education have been verified by classroom practice and educational research. The purpose of this paper is to introduce how the instructional material, specifically, geoboard could be used and integrated in elementary mathematics classroom in order to develop student's mathematical concepts and process in terms of the following areas: (1) Number '||'&'||' Operation : counting, fraction '||'&'||' additio $n_traction/multiplication (2) Geometry : geometric concepts (3) Geometry : symmetry '||'&'||' motion (4) Measurement : area '||'&'||' perimeter (5) Probability '||'&'||' Statistics : table '||'&'||' graph (6) Pattern : finding patterns Further, future study will continue to foster how manipulatives will enhance children's mathematics knowledge and influence on their mathematics performance.

Let D be an integral domain with quotient field K, X be an indeterminate over D, and D[X] be the polynomial ring over D. A prime ideal Q of D[X] is called an upper to zero in D[X] if Q = fK[X] ${\cap}$ D[X] for some f ${\in}$ D[X]. In this paper, we study integral domains D such that every upper to zero in D[X] contains a prime element (resp., a primary element, a t-invertible primary ideal, an invertible primary ideal).

Let R be a commutative ring with identity. In this paper, we characterize the prime submodules of a free R-module F of finite rank with at most n generators, when R is a GCD domain. Also, we show that if R is a Bézout domain, then every prime submodule with n generators is the row space of a prime matrix. Finally, we study the existence of primary decomposition of a submodule of F over a Bézout domain and characterize the minimal primary decomposition of this submodule.

Children interest themselves in all different toys they see, before beginning to speak. The psychological reasons for children′s interest in toys have been investigated for a long time. Thus many scientists have studied on the question "what is game？", but they have not reached a consensus yet. Such contradiction may be dependent upon different points of view of the researchers about game. Besides, the view of game of a child and an adult is different too. According to an adult game is a rebirth and escape from monotony. For child it is a work. The aim of this study is to make mathematics regarding a mass of abstract concepts for the students of grade 1-3 of primary school in the concrete operations period, more attractive with the help of educational and instructional games, and to contribute to student′s developing. The capability of thinking and producing by changing abstract concepts into concrete ones.

This paper is devoted to evaluate the effect of bilingual mathematics learning of Mongolian students in the primary school of Inner Mongolia. The study used tests and examined 305 Mongolian students' math achievement from Mongolian school and 277 Mongolian students from Mongolian and Han mixed school, at the same time 301 students from Guangxi regular primary school for comparison. Multivariate statistical analysis shows that there is no significant difference between these students. The results showed that the implementation of bilingual mathematics education in Inner Mongolia have achieved the desired effect. The reasons leading to the observed results are analyzed. There is a long history of bilingual education in Inner Mongolia, so the bilingual education system is complete, and the bilingual teaching resources are relatively abundant, especially the mathematics term translation between Mongolian and Chinese is standardized and unified.

In this study, the kindergarten teachers and elementary school teachers were surveyed to see the level relevance of the kindergarten and primary school curriculums. As a result, first, the kindergarten curriculum was generally appeared appropriate to the level of kindergarten students. However, in practice, a significant amount of the first grade curriculum were taught in the kindergarten. Second, the variation of mathematical abilities among the begining students was very large, and this variation also affected the students' achievements. Third, both kindergarten teachers and elementary school teachers wished for adjustments of the level of mathematics curriculum.

We will introduce the notion of fuzzy multiplication ring using fuzzy ideal. In this paper we will show that a fuzzy ideal I is primary if radI is prime. And we will investigate some properties related the theorem.

In this paper, we introduce fully discrete mixed discontinuous Galerkin approximations for parabolic problems. And we analyze the error estimates in $l^{\infty}(L^2)$ norm for the primary variable and the error estimates in the energy norm for the primary variable and the flux variable.
