In the digital age, as it is ambiguous to distinguish between the original and a replica, the order of reproduction which is more realistic than the reality is becoming a new cultural order. Before the period when digital paradigm dominates, always the reality has been an object to be copied. But, today is an age of Simulacre where code of digital technology dominates. Such a phenomenon is shown in the construction space without exception Gilles Deleuze who was a representative philosopher of the post-structuralism depicted the concept of Simulacre as an instant 'event' passing by without change in an object or substance. As the result of analyzing what kinds of feature for the concept of event is expressed in the digital space, a diagram itself could be a design process, the digital space with correlation was able to be created through the change in the meaning according to the changing image and my body which was the leading part to form primary space. In such a meaning, this study pays attention to Deleuze's 'Event(Simulacre)' concept. At this transitional period when a new concept of digital space is about to take root, the modern philosophers' theories and the discussions about spatial relativity should be continually studied, along with the development of spacial theories for the modem construction.

Improving the design ability of idea developing and creative problem solving should be started from the primary school. Design education in the primary school should be not education for design but education by design. It helps students can naturally understand the basic concept of design and experience the process of activities. Therefore primary educational circle use the term of 'Design-related activities', or 'Design-Based Education'. It can be applied to variable themes of mathematics, science, music, society as well as Art. On the Basis of these literature review, the traditional design education as a part of the art education is analyzed in two aspects of its contents and behaviors. The contents in design education involve aesthetic·symbolic, useful·functional, and scientific·technological area. And, the basic design behaviors are classified with 'know', 'perceive', 'inquire', and so on. This concept becomes the analytic frame of the present condition of design education in Korean primary school. Through the analysis, it is found that the portion of scientific·technological area in contents and 'inquire' related behaviors are relatively very low. Also, the planning and teaching methods for leading children's opportunity of creative expression are found inadequate. This study proposes the potential capability and the integrative contents of design education in primary school.

The design concept of this dental clinic Interior design is emotional color expression for the medical facility. This dental clinic is showing off the new adoption of the Korean primary traditional color pallette for the medical interior design. The graphic wall of the corridor is strongly attracting the eyes of customers while wrapping the corridor wall and partition with rather unconventional primary colored graphic shaping a tooth. Also the vivid and the dynamic atmosphere are emphasized by using the red color in the treatment area and the powder room. For the space programing, I focused on the functionality of each space and the efficiency of the traffic line. Centering around the information desk, the principal traffic line Is divided Into the staffs' private movement and the public movement.

In this study, Development of 300,000kcal/hr high velocity Injection burner with fuel multi-stage was performed using experiments. The characteristics of NOx emission in multi fuel/air staged combustor have been experimentally studied. The design concept of multi fuel/air staged combustor is creation of two separate flame, a primary flame is largest access air combustion and the secondary flame is complete combustion zone, where most of fuel bums. Experiments were performed on an industrial scale in a laboratory furnace and Liquefied Natural Gas(LNG) was used as primary and secondary fuels. Comparison of outlet NOx and outlet Temperature under various air rate and primary/ secondary fuel ratio was performed. The test demonstrated that NOx emission con be reduced by 70% in accordance with operating conditions.

The concept of base isolation for equipment is well known. Its application in buildings and structures is rather challenging. Introduction of horizontal flexibility at the base helps in proper energy dissipation at the base level thus reducing the seismic demand of the super structure to be considered during design. The present study shows the results of a series of numerical simulation studies on seismic responses of secondary system (SS) housed in non-isolated and base-isolated primary structures (PS) including equipment-structure interactions. For this study the primary structure consists of two similar single bay three-store reinforced cement concrete (RCC) Frame building, one non-isolated with conventional foundation and another base isolated with Lead plug bearings (LPB) constructed at IIT Guwahati, while the secondary system is modeled as a steel frame. Time period of the base isolated building is higher than the fixed building. Due to the presence of isolator, Acceleration response is significantly reduced in both (X and Y) direction of Building. It have been found that when compared to fixed base building, the base isolated building gives better performance in high seismic prone areas.

The point of this study consists in analysing influences of the postmodern design in the contemporary architecture. Since the modern architecture, new concept of architectural design has been materialized in the Late-Modern and the High-tech style but the revolutionary changes has been tempted by the postmodern architects who introduced the Rhetorical language in the contemporary architecture. In concrete terms postmodern architecture divided architectural elements from existing function (according to U. Eco, it is the primary function of architecture) and gave another function which is the secondary function or the symbolic function or architecture. And the methods of deviation from the conventional code is exactly the rhetorical expression technique which governed the history of art in Europe (but these technique is more intensively applied in the postmodern architecture) So this study is purposed to analyse the different rhetorical "figyres" regarding the syntax and semantic of the architectural langyage, and particularly to approach to the basic mechanism of the New Design Concept in the Contemporary Archiecture.chiecture.

Orthopedic medicine specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. The physical therapy speciality, Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy(OMT) is an important part of orthopedic medicine. Much of OMT is devoted to the evaluation and treatment of joint and related soft tissue disorders and one of the primary treatment methods is mobilization. When examination reveals joint dysfunction, especially decreased range of motion, joint mobilization techniques are often utilized. Soft tissue mobilization techniques are used to improve mobility and other soft tissues. The therapist should have precautions for a patient. These precautions are based on the patient's concurrent medical and surgical diagnosis. Lastly, the literature describing therapeutic interventions in patients with musculoskeletal problem is poor because the painful conditions are poorly characterized and the therapeutic interventions are poorly described; so, where Kaltenborn-Evjenth concept for patient with musculoskeletal problem were identified, the treatment concept are introduced.

Next Generation High Speed Train having a distributed electrical motor system has just been developing to aim the experimental maximum speed at 400km/h since August, 2007. This project is in stage of concept design and so, it needs to take some review and analysis the characteristics of suspensions on the view of concept design. A vehicle modeling is made of modified Korean High Speed Train bogie model with Vampire program and analyzed the effect on the dynamic performances according to the variation of primary and secondary suspension characteristics. The results would be useful to manage the potential risks in the next stage of basic and precision design that will be done by the manufacturing company.

Recent studies on long-term outcome of schizophrenia revealed that schizophrenic symptoms recover in more than 50%, while it remains severe in less than 20% after 20 years or more from the onset. Psychopharmacological studies indicate that 75% of remitted schizophrenics may recur within 2 years after discontinuation of maintenance pharmacotherapy. In addition, family studies revealed that schizophrenic decompensation may occur significantly more frequent in discharged patients with high expressed emotion family than in low expressed emotion family. These findings strongly support a clinical validity of stress-vulnerability concept of schizophrenia which open a new viewpoint to two central problems in schizophrenia treatment, i.e. psychotic relapses and chronification of the fist episode schizophrenia. Moreover, recent psychopathological studies argue that schizophrenic symptoms are manifestations of psychological reaction secondary to a primary cognitive impairment(neurobiological vulnerability), which is originated in neurobiological changes in the brain. Recent approaches to the vulnerability to schizophrenic symptoms or schizophrenic decompensation are reviewed.
