부산지역 외국인 유학생의 대학급식 이용실태 및 급식 품질 속성에 대한 중요도-만족도 조사 (An Evaluation on the Attitudes and Importance-Satisfaction on Service Quality of University Foodservice among International Students in Busan)

  • Objectives: This study examined the usage status and the degree of satisfaction of university foodservice (UF) perceived by international students in Busan. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted on the utilization of UF, improvement requirements, preference type and recipe, as well as the importance and satisfaction of UF quality attributes as perceived by international students (n=604) at universities in the Busan area between April and June 2017. Results: UF was 'generally satisfied' or 'very satisfied' in about 35.4% of the study population, and 'not very satisfied' or 'not satisfied at all' in approximately 11.5%. Approximately 21.7% said that UF contributed to dietary life 'very much' or 'quite significantly' and 36.4% said 'not very much' or 'not at all'. The largest demand for improvement of UF was 'variety of menu' (52.0%). The most leftover food in UF was kimchi (30.3%) and broth/stew (19.2%), and the major reason for having leftover was 'not to one's taste' (27.8%). After dividing the foodservice quality attributes into 5 factors - food quality and price, sanitation, convenience, physical environment, and service environment - and analyzing the importance and satisfaction of each factor, it was shown that satisfaction was generally lower than the degree of importance. Sanitation factor was high for both importance and satisfaction of UF, while convenience factor was high for the importance but low for satisfaction of UF. Four variables in the food quality and price factor ('food taste', 'freshness of food', 'nutritive value of food', and 'reasonable price') and 3 variables in the convenience factor ('variety of menu', 'prompt food service', and 'display of the meals for the day') had high importance but low satisfaction, showing the need for an improvement on these areas. Conclusions: Based on the study results, it is necessary to improve the food quality, as well as the price and convenience factors, and to provide various menus to increase the satisfaction of UF in international students.

이태리 메뉴와 요리품질이 고객가치 및 고객만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on Italian Menu and Its Quality Affecting Customer Value and Customer Satisfaction)

  • This study explored the quality of menu and customer value and satisfaction in Italian restaurants. From the result of the research, the menu and the quality of hotel restaurants had an important effect on the customer satisfaction, and the menu and its quality were closely related to each other. Specially, the price of the menu had an effect on the customer satisfaction directly. The customer value has a more direct effect than Italian menu and the importance of the menu perceived by the customers in Italian restaurants had a relatively less effect than the importance of menu information. In the result of the factor analysis, the more the menu was perceived appropriately, the better the customer value was. It was approved that Italian menu had positive (+) influence on the customer satisfaction. The more the quality of Italian cooking was perceived, the higher the customer value was. And the higher the customer value was, the better customer satisfaction was.

중년 여성의 라이프스타일에 따른 얼굴만족도와 화장행동 (A Study on the Satisfaction of Face and Make-Up Behavior According to Lifestyles of Middle Aged Women)

  • The purpose of this study were to identity face satisfaction and make-up behavior according to their lifestyles of middle aged women. The subjects were 350 women of 40 - 59 years old. The results of this study were as follow: 1. Lifestyle factors of middle aged women were self confidence, leisure activities, interests in appearance, economical efficiency, conservatism, and value-orientation. They were classified into four types of dignified & appearance interested group, passive stagnated group, unconfident & economic group, and value-oriented & leisure group according to their lifestyles. 2. They were satisfied with their eyes, lips, and eyebrows, but not satisfied with face tone, face shape, and skin texture. Total face satisfaction level was over average. The face satisfaction level of dignified & appearance interested group and value-oriented & leisure group were higher than other groups, but that of passive stagnated group was the lowest. 3. They pursued internal beauty and natural makeup, and did not follow trendy colors. Dignified & appearance interested group pursued characteristic, elegant, changeable, and various make-up colors, but value-oriented & leisure group pursued more various, changeable, and trendy colors. They did not prefer trendy products because of high price. Dignified & appearance interested group and unconfident & economic group were highly price-oriented, but value-oriented & leisure group purchased trendy products. 4. Dignified & appearance interested group included working women with not much income, but passive stagnated group included low-educated and non-working women. Unconfident & economic group included low-educated non-working women with not much income, but value-oriented & leisure group included highly-educated working women with high income.

메뉴 상품의 외적 준거 가격 끝수와 소비자 만족의 차이 분석 (An Analysis of Differences on External Reference Price-ending and Consumer Satisfaction in Menu Products)

  • This study intended to determine how price-ending types used for menu products affected consumers' price evaluation and value perception and such behavioral intentions as purchase intention and search intention. The collected data went through statistical processing, including frequency analysis, factor analysis, T-test and ANOVA using an $SPSS/PC^+$ 12.0 statistical package. The results can be summarized as follows: First, as for differences in internal reference price by ending, internal reference price was lower if menu ending was an odd number than it was an even number, which indicates that consumers tend to consider the price of the menu products to be lower if the ending of menu products is an odd number. Second, menu price-ending was found to have significant differences on consumers' purchase intention, search intention, and value perception. But the results of two-way ANOVA showed that price ending by restaurant types had no effect on consumers' search intention and restaurant type. This study suggested a desirable external reference price-ending type for menu products as one of sales promotion strategies to menu products planners and drew up a concrete plan to determine which price-ending type is useful by consumers' personal properties.

  • 사회적 기업의 지속가능한 성장을 위해서는 사회적 문제 해결뿐만 아니라 지속적 수익 창출도 병행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 사회적 기업이 고객과 장기적 관계를 유지할 수 있는 고객 성과에 초점을 두었으며, 고객 신뢰, 고객 만족, 고객 충성도를 고객 성과의 주요 요인으로 고려하였다. 그리고 고객 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 사회적 기업과 고객 간의 가치 일치성, 가격 공정성, 서비스품질을 도출하였다. 대구광역시 동구에서 운영하는 사회적 기업을 이용한 소비자 204명을 대상으로 연구 모형을 분석하였다. 연구 모형 분석 결과 사회적 기업에 대한 고객 만족은 고객 신뢰와 고객 충성도에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 고객 신뢰도 고객 충성도에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 사회적 기업이 추구하는 가치와 고객이 추구하는 가치의 일치성이 높을 때, 고객 신뢰와 고객 만족이 향상됨을 확인하였다. 그리고 서비스 품질도 고객 신뢰와 고객 만족 형성의 핵심 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 하지만, 가격 공정성은 고객 만족에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤지만, 고객 신뢰에는 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 사회적 기업이 제공하는 제품이나 서비스에 대한 소비자들의 구매 의사 결정 매커니즘을 이해하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

국내/해외 SPA브랜드 의복구매 20대 여성 소비자의 쇼핑성향과 의복만족도 (Shopping Orientation and Satisfaction with Clothes of 20s Women Consumers Using Domestic/Global SPA Brands)

  • This study examines the possible differences in satisfaction level according to the attributes classified as product, price, and service among women apparel consumers with the experience of buying global and domestic SPA brands. Data were collected through a survey of 270 women consumers aged 20s and with SPSS 15.0. The results are as follows: The exploration of the difference in product, price, and service attributes between the global and domestic SPA brands revealed that for product attributes, domestic brands scored higher in management quality, while global brands scored higher in design. In addition, for price attributes, domestic brands scored higher in promotion, while global brands scored higher in price value. When it comes to service attributes, only in regards to store policy was there a significant difference, with the score of global brands higher than domestic brands. The analysis of the difference in shopping orientation on domestic SPA brands showed significant difference only in customer convenience for the category of service attributes, while on global SPA brands, there were significant differences of the design for product attributes, promotion for price attributes, and customer convenience for service attributes.

저비용항공사 선택 속성에 관한 시장전략 (Market Strategy for Low Cost Carrier of Selection Attributes)

  • Purpose - As more low cost carriers are introduced, the competition between the low cost carriers to become the nation's leading low cost carrier is also being intensified. The purpose of this study is to select various choice attributes for low cost carrier and figure out important factors that customers take into account for low cost carrier selection. The study also involves in establishing the relationship between perceived value, customer satisfaction, and customer behavior Intention, in an effort to identify choice attributes that are important to customers' low cost carrier. Research design, data, and methodology - To examine these research models, samples were collected from 247 peoples who visited In-Cheon international Airport during June, 2017. Results - The results of the study showed that, 'reservation service', 'airport service', 'in-flight service', and 'price' services have a significant effect on the perceived value of the choice attributes. While 'reservation service', 'airport service', 'in-flight service', and 'flight operation service' have a significant effect on the customer satisfaction of the choice attributes, perceived value has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Perceived value has a significant effect on customer behavior intention. Finally, customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer behavior intention. Conclusions - Flight operation service has no significant effect on perceived value of the choice attributes of low cost carriers, which indicates that the low cost carriers have not yet been well-established in the flight operation service sector. It seems likely that low cost carrier will be able to gain a competitive advantage over other companies if they expand their routes and improve the convenience of flight connections. In addition, the results show that the price service does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction of the choice attributes of low cost carriers. From this, we may assume that the airline ticket prices of low cost carriers are already low, and the price cannot be a deciding factor in the competitive advantage of low cost carriers. To achieve higher customer satisfaction of the choice attributes, companies should strengthen the competitiveness of 'reservation service', 'airport service', 'in-flight service', and 'flight operation service'.

커피 전문점 만족도 및 고객 충성도에 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors of Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty in Coffee Houses)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the impact of a selection attribute on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in the coffee house industry. Through the preceding research, author chose coffee quality, price value, interior and employee service quality as selection attributes as well as customer loyalty as intent to recommend and to revisit. For this study, data were collected from the pedestrians around Kangnam, Samsung, Seoul national university of education subway stations from July 12 to August 4, 2005. Questionnaires were distributed and, of 314 papers, only 300 were suitable for the statistical analysis. The findings of the research were as follows: First, four selections had an effect on customer satisfaction which influenced customer loyalty. Coffee quality was the most influential variable among the selection attributes, and came price value, and interior and employee service quality in that order. Second, intent to revisit was influenced directly by not only customer satisfaction but also intent to recommend. However, this study had such limitations that data used in this study were limited to relatively narrow area and four attributes were not enough to explain all situations of choosing coffee houses. Consequently, further studies are needed to include more variables and coffee houses' brand images.

Gen Z's Intention to Repurchase Food Online in The Context of a Crisis: A Case Study in Vietnam Under COVID-19

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify factors affecting satisfaction as well as the intention of Gen Z customers to reorder food online in the context of a crisis. Research design, data and methodology: Data for this cross-sectional study were collected via the Internet by conducting an online survey of 652 Gen Z respondents, aged 15-25, in the south of Vietnam and using a convenience sampling method. To analyse the reliability of the scales, SPSS was used to run Cronbach's alpha. Then, SmartPLS was used to assess the measurement model, including variable reliability and validity, convergent validity, and discriminant validity of the proposed model, as well as test the hypotheses with partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Results: Social influence, price value, and convenience all have a positive effect on satisfaction and repurchase intention. Satisfaction not only plays a critical role in mediating the relationship between social influence, price value, convenience and repurchase intention but also has a positive impact on repurchase intention towards buying food online. Conclusions: This study was successful in identifying the factors of repurchase intention in a crisis setting among Gen Z customers by developing a theoretical research model via literature to complete a brief Theory of Planned Behaviour model. This study also took an innovative approach to earlier ones by demonstrating not just the significant effect of social influence on satisfaction and repurchase intention, but also by identifying critical variables that managers should focus on increasing and improving management.

중국 소비자 라이프스타일이 한국 중·저가 화장품의 지각된 가치, 구매의도, 만족도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Chinese Consumer lifestyles on perceived value, purchase intention, and satisfaction of Korean medium & low price cosmetics)

  • 중국의 경제성장은 많은 것을 변화하게 했으며 특히 외국문화 수용 후 소비자들의 소비패턴과 생활양식을 크게 변화시켰다. 급변화한 중국 소비자들을 이해하기 위해 이들의 라이프 스타일과 소비행동에 미치는 요인과 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 먼저, 라이프스타일을 브랜드지향형, 가격민감형, 합리적소비형, 충동구매형으로 구분하고 화장품유형(기초 vs. 색조)에 따른 지각된 가치, 구매의도, 만족도에 따른 각각의 차이를 확인하였다. 그 결과, 기초화장품에서 브랜드지향형과 가격민감형에서 지각된 가치에 대한 차이만 통계적으로 유의했다. 브랜드지향형과 합리적소비형 그리고 가격민감형과 합리적소비형, 합리적소비형과 충동구매형 집단에서만 지각된가치, 구매의도, 만족도에 유의한 차이를 보였으나 브랜드지향형과 충동구매, 가격민감형과 충동구매에 대한 차이는 유의하지 않았다. 색조화장품에서는 브랜드지향형과 가격민감형 그리고 브랜드지향형과 합리적소비형, 가격민감형과 합리적소비형, 합리적소비형과 충동구매형에서의 차이는 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났으나, 충동구매형과 브랜드지향형, 충동구매형과 가격민감형에서는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과에 기반하여 유통 서비스에 관한 관리적 함의도 제시하였다.
