  • Objective: The aim of this paper is to introduce ergonomic evaluation methods for agricultural work. Background: Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders(WMSDs) became a major problem in agriculture industry recently. A number of ergonomics evaluation methods have been developed in order to evaluate the work load for preventing WMSDs. The workload evaluation methods were developed for manufacturing industry. Therefore, these ergonomic evaluation methods were used carefully in agriculture industry because work type in agriculture different from work type in manufacturing. Method: Various references of ergonomic evaluation methods such as OWAS, REBA, RULA, NLE and Snook table have been reviewed for agricultural work. Results: This paper presents the characteristics, the selection and application procedure of ergonomic evaluation methods for agricultural work. Application: These results can be used to provide baseline information for ergonomic evaluation methods.

  • Important evidence or clue in general crime as well as crime relevant to computer has been discovered in digital devices including computer with advance of information technology and turning into a information-oriented society. A leakage of industrial technology and confidential business information is related to digital devices such as computer, smart phone, USB, etc. This paper deal with a current state and comparison analysis of digital forensic technology for developing way of forensic field, so we seek for method of preventing information leakage.

  • Si clusters generated during the plasma chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process have a great influence on the quality of the fabricated films. In particular, in hydrogenated amorphous silicon thin films (a-Si:H) used for thin film solar cells, Si clusters are mainly responsible for light-induced degradation. In this study, we investigated the amount of clusters incorporated into thin films using a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) and specially designed cluster eliminating filters, and investigated the effect of the DC grid mesh in preventing cluster incorporation. Experimental results showed that as the applied voltage of the grid mesh, which is placed between the electrode and the QCM, decreased, the number of clusters incorporated into the film decreased. This is due to the electrostatic force from the grid mesh bias, and this method is expected to contribute to the fabrication of high-quality thin films by preventing Si cluster incorporation.

  • Under the huge seismic loads, there are too many risks about which high-rise buildings lost their lateral stiffness caused by plasticity on frame members. Because of earthquake is important cause to bring the collapes countinue to human's life, many reports examined these phenomenons in various angles. And some of them reported the high possibility about building collapse by deformation concentrations under huge earthquakes. For preventing these phenomenons, researchers suggest some items-such as adding damping devices or strengthen their ductility or stifness. This report suggests choose the method of strengthen building stiffness and suggests the alternative designs using high strength steel-SM570TMC, and provides the results of time-history analysis about the alternative designs for investigation.

  • In this paper we propose new service model preventing an old person of dementia and a lost child as an application using the conventional fingerprint reader. If our model is applied to mobile terminal such as a PDA, it can be used the more easily anytime, everywhere. Moreover the problems preventing an old person of dementia and a lost child can be resolved in a systematic side as a more scientific and economic method.

  • This paper evaluate and compare effectiveness of urban growth management measures in Korea using system dynamics model. Simple urban dynamics model was used to compare urban growth management measures. Since the late 1960s, Korean government has been implementing various urban growth management measures without much success. In the 1960s, factories, universities, and public agencies were strongly encouraged to move out to local areas. During the 1970s, regulations on greenbelt area was adopted to prevent urban sprawl. Besides, regulations to prevent location of population inducing facilities, and promoting dislocation of those facilities were implemented simultaneously. During the 1990, regulations on total number of factories in the metropolitan area, development fees were adopted. These various method of urban management were compared. Simulation results shows that promoting decentralization of population, preventing population immigration, expanding greenbelt area are effectiveness ones compared to controlling total number of population inducing facilities, and preventing construction of new industries. Some implications of the findings were discussed.

  • We implemented the document DRM applying role based access control(RBAC) mechanism for preventing the information leakage of a document which is transmitted in network environment. It must prevent to access document not related to user role and duty, and must allow operation to document for improving security, considering user role and security level according to a document importance. We improved the security of document DRM by adding to the access control module applying RBAC for satisfying security requirements. Though the user access document, our system allows operation authorizations to document by the user's role & security level and the security attribute of RBAC. Our system prevents indiscriminate access to the documents by user who is not associated with the role, and prevents damage the confidentiality and integrity.

  • The method for preventing thermal cracks is necessary in mass concrete structures. So various experiments were carried out for the controls of thermal cracks and we substituted fly ash for a quarter of cement quantity in order to decrease hydration heat. The maximum block size is determined by numerical analysis as well. Hydration heat and thermal stress were measured through various gauges and analysis considering the steps of concrete placement were carried out. It was found from this study that the appropriate block size was able to be determined properly by numerical analysis.
