  • As Korea is expected to enter an aging society in near future, the number of patients who need a long-term prescription is expected to increase as well. In particular, Korea shows the highest in both the incident rate and the death rate among OECD member nations. The current situation requires more strict monitoring and management for patients' taking medicine, there are a few practical problems such as personnel expenses. In order to realize the efficient management of medicine administration, this paper proposes a smart pillbox that is developed based on IT technologies. Through the experiments in which actual patients participate, it is proved that the smart pillbox is beneficial to the patients taking medicine.

  • Objectives: The objective of this study is to investigate and valuate currently provided database management systems (DBMS) of traditional Korean medical knowledge. Methods: We searched DBMS on the web and smart device application markets (Apple App Store and Google Play Store). Key words for searching were 'traditional medicine', 'acupuncture', 'moxibustion', 'herbal medicine', and '한의학'. We looked into each DBMS to find out its scopes and limits, and each was valuated according to its functionality, accessibility, and utility. Results: 186 DBMS of traditional Korean medical knowledge were investigated and 91% of them were applications for smart devices. Almost all DBMS provided acupuncture and herb information, and a small amount of DMBS provided prescription and research paper information. Functionality, accessibility, and utility valuation were performed by using scoring system from 0 to 2. Mean values of functionality, accessibility, and utility were 0.86, 1.29, and 1.09. Conclusions: On the whole, high accessibility and low functionality were found, and various data-calculating functions were not implemented. Further researches and developments about traditional Korean medical knowledge DBMS are necessary to provide correct traditional Korean medical information and to support the studies about Korean medicine.

  • Since the ending of the IMF period, the Korean health industry has experienced a number of changes in its environment such as hospital bankruptcy, enforcement of SDF(Separation of Dispensing and Prescription), opening of the medical market by WHO, evaluation of medical institutions with more than 100 sick beds, and limited approval for medical service advertisement. Furthermore, the concept of medical service has changed from a beneficent and vortical one to a hi lateral and righteous one. These changes in medical service have required medical institutions to provide customers with medical service options and adopt market principles actively, while considering customer satisfaction. Thus, this paper aims to investigate the service quality and service value of medical institutions, to understand the mutual relationship between customer satisfaction and repeat visits, and to suggest better solutions for the improvement of service quality. For future studies, It will be necessary to overcome the limitations of this research and develop proper measurement tools on service quality in the Korean medical system.

  • The use of Radio Frequency Identification technology (RFID) in medical context enables not only drug identification, but also a rapid and precise identification of patients, physicians, nurses or any other healthcare giver. The combination of RFID tag identification with structured and secured Internet of Things (IoT) solutions enables ubiquitous and easy access to medical related records, while providing control and security to all interactions. This paper defines a basic security architecture, easily deployable on mobile platforms, which would allow to establish and manage a medication prescription service in mobility context making use of electronic Personal Health Records. This security architecture is aimed to be used with a mobile e-health application (m-health) through a simple and intuitive interface, supported by RFID technology. This architecture, able to support secured and authenticated interactions, will enable an easy deployment of m-health applications. The special case of drug administration and ubiquitous medication control system, along with the corresponding Internet of Things context, is presented.

  • The pandemic of COVID-19 has led "E-commerce+ Live streaming", the new form of retail business, development rapidly. And more and more consumers choose to buy commodities in E-commerce live streaming. According to the related investigation at home and abroad, the purchase intention and WOM intention are two important measuring factors of the effect of the direct transmission of e-commerce. In previous research, the author proved that IWOM has become an important reference for consumers to make online purchases. In this study, the author mainly focus on the impact of online WOM on consumer intention. Based on the Involvement Theory, this paper proposes a model of the influence of IWOM on WOM intention in e-commerce live broadcast which is adjusted by the product involvement degree. The results show that the characteristics of anchor, the quantity and quality of IWOM, the prescription of IWOM, the difference of IWOM and the intention of WOM are positively regulated by the product involvement. However, product involvement did not play a moderating role between relationship strength and WOM intention.

  • The customized cosmetics preparation management qualification system was implemented in March 2020, and it served to create jobs by developing professionals and vitalizing the cosmetics business. However, various problems such as high examination fees, suitability of questions, and utilization in industries are emerging. This paper attempts to prevent disputes that the system can cause and suggest ways to improve it by researching customized cosmetics, the industry status, and comparing foreign cosmetics laws. There is a kind of opinion that laws should be eased for this industry and the other opinion that expertise is necessary in this field because of safety. The system now has adverse effects due to a failure to adjust the difficulty of the exam. Cosmetics are not prescription-based, so they are routinely used. However, some toxic ingredients can cause side effects if they do not conform with certain standards. Also, it is difficult for a case to lead to lawsuits because most consumer damages related to cosmetics are individual. In addition, as e-commerce develops, there is a growing possibility of seeing more consumer damages. If safety and distribution issues, which experts are concerned about, escalate, the private dispute settlement system (among the ADR systems) should be activated as a resolution method.

  • Rice yield and protein content have been shown to be highly variable across paddy fields. In order to characterize this spatial variability of rice within a field, two-year experiments were conducted in 2002 and 2003 in a large-scale rice field of $6,600m^2$ In year 2004, an experiment was conducted to know if variable rate treatment (VRT) of N fertilizer, that was prescribed for site-specific management at panicle initiation stage, could reduce spatial variation in yield and protein content of rice while increasing yield compared to conventional uniform N topdressing (UN, 33kg N/ha at PIS) method. VRT nitrogen prescription for each grid was calculated based on the nitrogen (N) uptake (from panicle initiation to harvest) required for target rice protein content of $6.8\%$, natural soil N supply, and recovery of top-dressed N fertilizer. The required N uptake for target rice protein content was calculated from the equations to predict rice yield and protein content from plant growth parameters at panicle initiation stage (PIS) and N uptake from PIS to harvest. This model· equations were developed from the data obtained from the previous two-year experiments. The plant growth parameters for the calculation of the required N were predicted non-destructively by canopy reflectance measurement. Soil N supply for each grid was obtained from the experiment of year 2003, and N recovery was assumed to be $60\%$ according to the previous reports. The prescribed VRT N ranged from 0 to 110kg N/ha with an average of 57kg/ha that was higher than 33 kg/ha of UN. The results showed that VRT application successfully worked not only to reduce spatial variability of rice yield and protein content but also to increase rough rice yield by 960kg/ha. The coefficient of variation (CV) for rice yield and protein content was reduced significantly to $8.1\%$ and $7.1\%$ in VRT from $14.6\%$ and $13.0\%$ in UN, respectively. And also the average protein content of milled rice in VRT showed very similar value of target protein content of $6.8\%$. In conclusion the procedure used in this paper was believed to be reliable and promising method for reducing within-field spatial variability of rice yield and protein content. However, inexpensive, reliable, and fast estimation methods of natural N supply and plant growth and nutrition status should be prepared before this method could be practically used for site-specific crop management in large-scale rice field.

  • In recent times, a medical book called "WooJam JabJeo" has been published in complete Korean version. Not a few cases where the vivid appearance of the place for medical treatment are included intact in this medical book. This study is attempting to analyze one symptom of a disease by choosing it among the diseases our ancient sages treated in the light of the fact that there are only a few models which are applied to today's clinical treatment by our ancient sages appearance of medical service. This study believes that such an analysis of ancient medicine could be a part of the efforts to increase the applicable models to today's clinical treatment one by one. This paper is aimed at introducing and analyzing the three cases of Ganwul which are found in "WooJam JabJeo". It's because this study thinks that Ganwul is a symptom over which oriental medicine can not only establish dominance over western medicine it its diagnosis and prescription but Ganwul will also have high applicability to today's clinical treatment. Through this research, this study was able to perceive that the author. Jang, Tae-kyeong of "WooJam JabJeo" had vast knowledge of medical theories, especially in author's understanding diseases and composing prescription based on "Donguibogam". Up to the present time, domestic medical circles have understood the emergence of "Jejungshinpyeon(濟衆新編)"(1799) or "Bangyakhappyeon(方藥合編)"(1885) as an outlining work at most for overcoming such a limit of "DonguiBogam" superficially. However, by looking into Jang Tae-kyeong's understanding of "Dongui Bogam". this study was able to know the fact that the emergence of such medical books was possible because the medical knowledge included in "Dongui Bogam" was fully understood and digested in society of the Josen Dynasty. Conclusively, such a fact reminds us that it serves as a momentum to confirm once more that "Dongui Bogam" could be a good model for even today's clinical treatment.

The trial field was subdivided into two parts and each part was subjected to UN and VRT treatment. Each part was schematically divided in $10\times10m$ grids for growth and yield measurement or VRT treatment. And also the average protein content of milled rice in VRT showed very similar value of target protein content of $6.8\%$. Although N use efficiency of VRT compared to UN was not quantified due to lack of no N control treatment, the procedure used in this paper for VRT estimation was believed to be reliable and promising method for managing within-field spatial variability of yield and protein content. The method should be received further study before it could be practically used for site-specific crop management in large-scale rice field.
