한국 소아 B형 간염의 역학과 현황 (The epidemiology and present status of chronic hepatitis B in Korean children)

  • Korea is now classified as an area of intermediate endemicity for hepatitis B virus (HBV), due to the implementation of universal HBV vaccination and national preventive programs for HBV infection. A national program of HBV vaccination was launched in Korea in 1988 for school-going children and was listed on a vaccination guideline in 1991. In 1995, universal vaccination for newborn infants was started for the prevention of perinatal HBV transmission. The prevalence of HBsAg among Korean middle school students has shown marked decreased from 3.2% in the late 1990s to 0.44% in 2007. HBsAg positivity in preschool children was 0.9% in 1995, decreased to 0.2% in 2007 by national prevention program of hepatitis B vertical transmission, launched in 2002. Vaccine failure rate of HBV immunoprophylaxis is 4.2% by this program. The infected children should be monitored per 6-12 months interval. Lamivudine and interferon are approved therapies for children with chronic hepatitis B in immune-clearance phase in Korea.

아동과 청소년의 친구관계 발달에 관한 연구 (The Development of Friendships in Children and Adolescents)

  • This study examined the developmental characteristics of friends and disliked peers in 169 children and adolescents, including 44 preschool children, 43 primary school, 42 middle school, and 40 university students. Their descriptions of 2 same gender friends and 2 disliked same gender peers were categorized with an 81 category coding system. Comparisons across age and sex were made by a cross-tabulation test. Results showed that the reported characteristics of friends and disliked peers varied by age, but there was no sex difference. That is, younger children liked their friends because they played together, their friends were generous and attractive, but older children liked friends because they had some similarity, were reliable allies, caring and concerned. Younger children's disliked peers were aversive, aggressive and hyperactive while older children's disliked peers were dissimilar and snobbish.

  • In order to achieve this goal, we consider the following issues: a retrospective analysis of the concepts of "giftedness", "intellectually gifted personality"; the experience of working with gifted youth abroad is analyzed; features of work with gifted student youth are revealed; educational and methodological support and practical work with gifted students are analyzed; an empirical study was conducted to determine the attitude of gifted youth to organizational forms of work with them; developed a scientific circle as a form of work with intellectually gifted student youth. A set of methods is used, in particular: theoretical methods: comparison, analysis, synthesis and generalization; empirical methods: analysis of documentation and results of pedagogical activity, observation.

예비유아교사가 경험한 자기 주도적 봉사의 의미 탐색 -초등학교 저학년 돌봄 교실 봉사를 중심으로- (Exploring the Meaning of Self-directed Service experienced by Preservice Teachers -Focused on the Service of Daycare Programs for Lower Grades of Elementary-)

  • 본 논문은 예체능 및 놀이문화 형성 프로그램 중심의 '2016 여름방학 대학생 돌봄교실 봉사'에 참여한 예비유아교사를 연구 참여자로 선정하여, 이들이 봉사과정을 통해 겪은 경험의 의미를 질적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 참여자들은 예비유아교사 6명으로 이들은 봉사프로그램의 계획, 예산편성, 재료구입, 실천, 평가까지 일련의 모든 과정을 스스로 해결해야하는 자기 주도적 봉사의 취지를 수용하고 참의의사를 밝힌 상황에서, 방학 중 40시간 이상 초등학교 저학년(1~2학년) 돌봄교실을 방문하여 봉사프로그램을 실시하였다. 연구자료로는 연구참여자저널, 개인면담 및 단체면담 전사본, 전화통화 전사본, 메일, 차수별 자체평가 기록지 등을 활용하였으며, 연구의 신뢰성과 타당성을 높이기 위해 삼각측정, 구성원검토작업, 전문가의 조언과 검토 등이 이루어졌다. 연구결과, 자기 주도적 봉사에 참여한 예비유아교사들의 봉사경험관련 의미는 '생각하는 힘이 자라요', '소통의 중요성을 깨달아가요', '함께 하는 자체가 중요해요', '자원 정보 활용능력이 필요해요' 등으로 이루어진 '역량을 갖춘 전문적인 교사 되어가기'와 '유초연계교육의 필요성을 알아가요', '유초연계교육에 대해 배우고 싶어요' 등으로 세분화된 '유초연계교육에 대한 안목 키워가기'로 크게 범주화되었다.

자연친화적 손끝놀이프로그램이 유아의 소근육 운동기능 발달과 창의적 사고력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Nature-friendly Fingertips Play Program for the Development Small Muscle Functions and Creative Thinking Abilities of Young Children)

  • 본 연구는 자연 속에서 자연물을 가지고 손끝놀이를 활용한 자연친화적 손끝놀이프로그램이 유아의 소근육 운동기능 발달과 창의적 사고력에 미치는 효과는 어떠한가를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 B시에 위치한 H어린이집 만5세 유아 14명과 P어린이집 만5세 유아 14명을 대상으로 유아의 소근육 운동기능 발달을 측정하기 위해 강병동(2002)이 연구한 '소근육 운동기능 발달 평가도구'와 창의적 사고력 발달을 측정하기 위한 토랜스의 창의력 검사 중 도형검사를 김영채(2004)가 표준화시킨 한국판 창의성 도형검사를 사용하였다. 그에 따른 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자연친화적 손끝놀이 프로그램이 유아의 전체 소근육 운동기능 발달과 정확성, 신속성, 안정성의 3가지 하위요소의 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 자연친화적 손끝놀이프로그램이 유아의 전체 창의적 사고력 및 창의적 사고력 하위요소 중 '유창성', '성급한 종결에 대한 저항'에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다. 결론적으로 자연친화적 손끝놀이 프로그램이 유아의 소근육 운동기능 발달과 창의적 사고력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Monte-Carlo 모의실험을 통한 부분 인구집단별 벤젠 및 PM10의 노출 및 위해성 평가 (Exposure and Risk Assessment of Benzene and PM10 for Sub-populations using Monte-Carlo Simulations)

  • Objectives: The Korea Ministry of Environment regulates concentrations of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) through Atmosphere Environmental Standards to protect public health from HAPs. However, simply determining the exceedance of HAP concentrations has several limitations and more comprehensive assessment is required. In addition, integrated risk assessment is needed considering exposure in all microenvironments, including outdoor as well as indoor environments. The purpose of this study was to assess the differences in risk by sub-population groups according to time-activity patterns and reported concentrations, as well as the lifetime risk for Koreans. Methods: In this study, we calculated time-weighted average exposure concentrations for benzene and $PM_{10}$ among preschool-age children, students, housewifes, workers, and the elderly using residential time and concentrations for indoor (house, school or workplace, other), outdoor, and transport by the meta-analysis method. The risk assessments were conducted by excess cancer risk and disease death risk using 1,000,000 Monte-Carlo simulations for probabilistic analysis. Results: Preschool-age children, students, housewifes, workers, and the elderly spent 91.9, 86.0, 79.8, 82.2, and 77.3% of their day in their house, workplace, or school, respectively. The more than 99% excess cancer risk for benzene exceed 1.0E-06 in all sub-populations and lifetime. The acute disease death risk for $PM_{10}$ for housewifes and workers for lifetime were 3.35E-04 and 3.18E-04, and chronic disease death risks were 2.84E-03 and 2.70E-03, respectively. Conclusions: The risk of benzene and $PM_{10}$ by sub-population group and for the lifetime of housewifes and workers were assessed. Benzene showed risky results for this study. All disease death risks of $PM_{10}$ were higher than 1.0E-04 and showed different risks by sub-population. This study can be used as a basis for lifetime exposure and risk assessment to benzene and $PM_{10}$.

  • Objectives: Although the risk assessments for nitrogen dioxide ($NO_2$) and ozone ($O_3$) have been extensively studied, most of the existing risk assessments were limited mainly to indoor environments such as workplaces, schools, and multi-use facilities. Therefore, integrated risk assessment is needed to consider exposure in all microenvironments, including outdoors. The purpose of this study was to assess the differences in risk among sub-population groups according to time-activity patterns and reported concentrations, as well as the lifetime risk of Koreans. Methods: In this study, we estimated time-weighted average exposure concentrations of $NO_2$ and $O_3$ for preschool children, students, housewives, workers, and seniors using residential time and indoor concentrations (house, school or workplace, other), outdoors, and transport by meta-analysis method. The risk for $NO_2$ and $O_3$ were assessed by hazard quotient using reference concentrations 30 and 60 ppb, respectively. The risk assessments were conducted through 1,000,000 Monte-Carlo simulations for probabilistic analysis. Results: Preschool children, students, housewives, workers, and seniors spent 91.9, 86.0, 79.8, 82.2, and 77.3% of their day in a house, school, or workplace, respectively. The risk assessment for the lifetime of a housewife and a worker showed that 33.8 and 28.4% of hazard quotients of $NO_2$ exceed 1, respectively, and more than 99% of hazard quotient of $O_3$ were less than 1. Conclusions: The risk of $NO_2$ and $O_3$ by sub-population group and for the lifetime of housewives and workers were assessed. The risk for $NO_2$ was higher than for $O_3$ and showed a different risk by sub-population group. Both $NO_2$ and $O_3$ showed a higher risk for housewives than for workers. This study can be used as a basis for lifetime exposure and risk assessment for $NO_2$ and $O_3$.

시각과 시간에 대한 초등학생의 수학적 이해 분석 (Analysis on Mathematical Understanding of Elementary School Students about Time)

  • 시각과 시간은 학교수학의 내용 요소 중 일상생활에 필수적인 수학적 개념이다. 본 연구는 초등학생들의 시각과 시간에 대한 수학적 이해 실태를 분석하고, 그 결과에 기초하여 시각과 시간에 대한 이해 신장을 위한 효과적인 수업 설계 및 교재 개발에 대한 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 구체적으로 초등학교 1~5학년 각 1개 학급 학생 약 130명을 대상으로 시각 인식 및 시간 계산 수행 검사지를 적용하고, 그 결과를 토대로 하여 연구 대상의 수학적 이해 정도를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 학생들의 시각 인식 능력은 높았으며, 학교수학에서 몇 시 몇 분의 학습이 완료되는 2학년 시기에 완성됨을 알 수 있었다. 시간 계산은 학년에 따라 차이가 있고, 시각과 시간 학습이 완료되는 시기인 3학년 이상의 학생들도 어려움을 겪는 문항이 있음이 확인되었다. 분석 결과에 기초한 논의로부터 시각과 시간의 수학적 이해 제고를 위한 교수학적 시사점을 제안하였다.

  • The article is devoted to studying the development of scientific and methodological work and its impact on the quality of students' vocational training in higher pedagogical education institutions by applying information technology. The article aim is to development of the organizational methodological support and pedagogical diagnostics of the effectiveness of the project «Modelling scientific and methodological work in a higher education pedagogical institution by applying information technology » realization in the framework of increasing the level of scientific and methodological work in a higher education pedagogical institution as a factor contributing to enhancing the quality of pedagogical education. The research program of the project activity envisages stating and substantiating the problem of scientific and methodological work by applying information technology in the framework of increasing the level and quality of educational activities in a higher pedagogical education institution through the implementation of the project approach, developing a model for the system of organizational and methodological support of the project implementation as well as monitoring the process and evaluating the results of the project implementation in terms of developing teachers' scientific, methodological, information competency and enhancing students' progress in studying. The set of criteria were developed to evaluate the level of formation of scientific and methodological competency as a result of implementing the project for the development of scientific and methodological work. The scientific and methodological work by applying information technology in the academy was carried out in accordance with the following principles: systematic character, consistent diagnostics, practical focus, scientific organizational and methodological support.
