This study provided the data for the planning of knit apparel by analyzing structural effects of intarsia and jacquard knit on mechanical properties, subjective hand measurements, and preference. Intarsia and 7 types of color jacquard (floating jacquard, normal jacquard, bird's eye jacquard, tubular jacquard, ladder's back jacquard, blister jacquard, and transfer jacquard) were used. The samples (with a gauge of 14) were knitted using 100% wool 2/48's yarn by a Shima Seiki SIG computer knitting machine. Mechanical properties and hand values were measured by a KES-FB system. Subjective hand and favorable images were surveyed based on women in their 20s and 30s. The data were analyzed by a factor analysis, ANOVA and correlation analysis using SPSS 12.0. The subjective hand of intarsia and jacquard knits was categorized into 'thermofeeling', 'weight/flexibility', and 'durability'. The results of the favorable image survey for F/W outer knitwear showed that tubular jacquard was most favorable; however, the transfer jacquard was least favorable. Among the three factors that explain the subjective hand, thermofeeling had a strong influence on the favorable image of consumers. Bird's eye jacquard and tubular jacquard turned out to be most suitable for suits, intarsia and floating jacquard were suitable for cardigans and sweaters, ladder's back jacquard was suitable for hats or mufflers, and transfer jacquard was suitable for home fashion rather than garments.

This research has the purpose to examine the images sought for, makeup Consciousness, and behavioral aspects during makeup by the college girls in their 20s in the region of Daeieon and Chungnam that have strong interest in appearance and start color makeup in full scale, who form the main consumer layers in cosmetics market, and to analyze their preference on colors and feelings by the kinds of cosmetics, and their cosmetics purchase behavior. A questionnaire survey on the college girls in Daejeon and Chungnam region has shown the following results. The biggest reason college girls do the makeup was for a refined and pure image as well as protection of skin and covering defects. Their greatest concern was skin protection, and as for color selection, harmonizations of skin color and hair color were the largest consideration. In addition, the type of makeup they do most was foundation makeup, while pink was the most frequent lipstick color, and lip glow was mostly normal colors. However, they mostly answered that they do not use eye shadow, eye runner, and foundation. It was shown that their cosmetics purchase p]aces were specialized discount stores for about 47% nearly half of them, and they consider colors the most for lipsticks and eye shadows, and affinity to skin for foundations and basic cosmetics.
Production of green pepper has been increased due to customer's preference and a projected ten-year boom in the industry in Korea. This study was carried out to develop an automatic grading and sorting system for green pepper using machine vision. The system consisted of a feeding mechanism, segregation section, an image inspection chamber, image processing section, system control section, grading section, and discharging section. Green peppers were separated and transported using a bowl feeder with a vibrator and a belt conveyor, respectively. Images were taken using color CCD cameras and a color frame grabber. An on-line grading algorithm was developed using Visual C/C++. The green peppers could be graded into four classes by activating air nozzles located at the discharging section. Length and curvature of each green pepper were measured while removing a stem of it. The first derivative of thickness profile was used to remove a stem area of segmented image of the pepper. While pepper is moving at 0.45 m/s, the accuracy of grading sorting for large, medium and small pepper are 86.0%, 81.3% and 90.6% respectively. Sorting performance was 121 kg/hour, and about five times better than manual sorting. The developed system was also economically feasible to grade and sort green peppers showing the cost about 40% lower than that of manual operations.
This study, Based on the study theories of up to the present was to a consumer's shopping motive, the process of choice and the theory of a consumer's store choice by his or her preference. It investigates the components of store image referring many thesis from documents of domestic and foreign countries. The major findings of from study an as follows: First, as general characteristics of samples, the component ratio of women is much higher than that of men. As for marital status, married consumers are large in numbers, and for educational back ground, high educated young couples go shopping frequently at department stores. As for ages, consumers under the 30s take great part in, for the occupation, many are housewives and for the average income of a month, under one million won income earners are major consumers. Second, about shopping motive, married ones do it for refreshing themselves, but for singles, they do shopping for the pleasure of bargain sales. The most important reason which influences on the shopping motive is 'pleasure of bargain sales' regardless of all ages. Third, according to the analysis of shopping motive and the characteristics of 15 store images, there are noteworthy differences statistically in shopping motive, attraction and reliance on advertisement, an atmosphere of a store and the degree of crowdedness.
As the collected information which is static or dynamic is infinite in ubiquitous computing environments, information overload and invasion of privacy have been pressing issues in the recommendation service. In this study, we propose a recommendation service procedure through P2P, The P2P helps customer to obtain effective and secure product information because of communication among customers who have the similar preference about the products without connection to server. To evaluate the performance of the proposed recommendation service, we utilized real transaction and product data of the Korean mobile company which service character images. We developed a prototype recommender system and demonstrated that the proposed recommendation service makes an effect on recommending product in the ubiquitous environments. We expect that the information overload and invasion of privacy will be solved by the proposed recommendation procedure in ubiquitous environment.

SAFRS(Spontaneous Acoustic Field Reproduction System) is a system to sense changes of surroundings and produce sounds which can go well with environment elements sensed by the system in to the space. The sounds were judged by individual evaluation and, the classification of the preferred sounds according to the mood of the space was suggested in the former study. Effectiveness of SAFRS with field application was validated by prior studies which dealt with researching acoustic environment, evaluating images of sounds, and rating environment with existence and nonexistence of sound resources such as fountains and the system after applied in D university. In this study, for more effective field application of SAFRS, research for the acoustic environment around sound resources and subjective evaluation of the preference of the sounds from the resources were made and it was considered that the results of the experiments should be primary information to propose proper sound level to be offered by the system. The results of the study are as follows; 1) It was considered that the ambience of the center road was dependent upon produced sounds by the system and water sounds of the fountain and that of walk way was mostly dependent upon produced sounds. 2) The results of the subjective evaluation showed that the distance from sound resources was suggestive; the more distant from produced sounds the less full and clear the sounds, the less distant from the sounds of water the more delight and idyllic ambience, and the less distant from the forest the more idyllic ambient and diversity. 3) The results upwards were telling that an average value of six elements for the evaluation was even at the place set back 10.2m from center road and walk way. And harmony of all sounds of the place should be considered to propose suitable sound level of SAFRS.
Background: The thoracic transforaminal epidural block (TTFEB) is usually performed to treat herpes zoster or postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). Especially, multiple segmental involvements and approximate contrast medium spread range, according to volume, help to choose the proper drug volume in the transforaminal epidural block. This study investigated the contrast medium spread patterns of 1-ml to 3-ml TTFEBs. Methods: A total of 26 patients with herpes zoster or PHN were enrolled in this study. All participants received 1 ml, 2 ml, or 3 ml of contrast medium. Results were divided into Groups A, B and C based on the volume (1, 2, or 3 ml), with n = 26 for each group. After the injection of contrast medium, the spread levels were estimated in both the lateral and anteroposterior (AP) images using fluoroscopy. Results: The cephalad spread of contrast medium in the lateral image as expressed by the median (interquartile range) was 2.00 levels (1.00-2.00) for Group A, 2.50 (2.00-3.00) for Group B, and 3.00 (2.00-4.00) for Group C. The caudal spread level of contrast medium was 1.00 (1.00-2.00) for Group A, 2.00 (2.00-3.00) for Group B, and 2.00 (2.00-3.00) for Group C. There was ventral and dorsal spread of the 3-ml contrast medium injection in 88% (23/26) of cases in the lateral image. Conclusions: Injection of 3 ml of contrast medium through the foramina spread 6 levels in a cephalocaudal direction. Spread patterns revealed a cephalad preference. TTFEB resulted in dorsal and ventral spread in a high percentage of cases. This procedure may be useful for transferring drugs to the dorsal and ventral roots.

With the advance of internet technology and fast growing of data volume, it become very hard to find a demanding information from the huge amount of data. Recommender system can solve the delema by helping a user to find required information. This paper proposes a reinforcement learning based hybrid recommendation system to predict user's preference. The hybrid recommendation system combines the content based filtering and collaborate filtering, and the system was tested using 2000 images. We used mean abstract error(MAE) to compare the performance of the collaborative filtering, the content based filtering, the naive hybrid filtering, and the reinforcement learning algorithm based hybrid filtering methods. The experiment result shows that the performance of the proposed hybrid filtering performance based on reinforcement learning is superior to other methods.
We studied in order to find out suitable amounts of board by visual effects to establish indoor boards and human psychological effects by several board designs. Thirty students of C university were tested in constant temperature/humidity room and interviewed after tests. The experimental visual images were projected from 54' TV. As a result, the board length that showed high preference and satisfaction was the 90cm both horizontal and vertical direction. We found that vertical board gave an impression of a linear and narrow shape and the horizontal board gave wide space and cool feeling from psychological analytical study. The factors affecting satisfaction in horizontal direction were refreshing, intimacy, beauty, area, splendor and those in vertical direction were a sense of security, beauty, texture, intimacy, continuity, extensity, natural feeling. We got 5 factors from the result of factor analysis in order to get psychological factor axis. Those were pleasantness, artificiality, openness, dynamics, refinement. By multiple regression analysis, the factor pleasantness had the highest impact on visual satisfaction on scenary. The study on psychological factor difference by analysis of variance showed that psychologically feeling amount about pleasantness, artificiality, dynamics, refinement, and openness had statistically meaningful difference despite of board direction. We found that the 90cm had a tendency as a changing point leading image change by the investigative analysis of board direction based on factor points.

This study evaluated the effect of image type of the beauty trainer on satisfaction and stress regarding the major. The data were analyzed by spss 18.0. Frequency analysis, causal analysis, reliability analysis, T-test, one-way variance analysis, and multiple regression analysis were carried out, and the result is as following. First, as the result of analysis the image of beauty trainer, we defined inner, outer, and social image. Second, the difference between images of beauty trainers revealed that people with high interest in the major ranked the inner image of beauty trainer the highest. Respondent with the lowest and the higher class satisfaction also deemed inner image important. The same was for respondents with beauty awareness. For outer image, people with the lowest class satisfaction ranked outer image the highest. And people with beauty awareness recognized beauty trainer's outer image more important. Respondents who said the major have bleak future deemed outer image even important. While the social image was recognized the highest by respondents with lowest class satisfaction. Third, as we analyzed the correlation between the image type of beauty trainer and major stress/satisfaction, the higher the satisfaction for the trainer's outer and social image gave higher class satisfaction. And less stress about the major resulted in higher major satisfaction. Fourth, we evaluated the effect of trainer's image on the class satisfaction and stress. Fifth, the lower the awareness of inner image and the higher awareness of social image resulted in higher major stress. Lower inner image gave high major satisfaction, while high social image resulted in high major stress.
