  • 본 연구는 조립식 포장 공법에서 사용할 고성능 프리캐스트 콘크리트 슬래브의 제작 가능성을 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 세부요소기술을 포함하여 슬래브를 설계하였으며 이를 토대로 매우 우수한 프리캐스트 슬래브의 제작이 가능하였다.

Behavior of Joint Panel of Precast Prestressed Concrete Pavement System with Different Design Details

  • From the extensive review of literature on existing precast prestressed concrete pavement (PPCP) systems, an innovative PPCP system has been developed. After the analysis and design, the sample system has been built and experimented under service loads and the defects of the system has been noted. Further study has been done to improve the performance of the defects. The appeared cracks around post-tensioning pockets was a crucial problem which needed to be solved in order to satisfy the service life of the system without any doubt. In this paper, different shape and arrangement of the post-tensioning pockets in the joint panel has been designed and analysed in order to find best performance for the system.

  • Korea has many problems due to the asphalt pavement or impermeable pavement. Many methods are being implemented to improve water circulation. Among them, permeable packaging materials are used. However, existing permeable packaging materials have a problem of causing efflorescence and clogging the pores. The pores of the permeable packing material are clogged and the permeability is lost. This leads to economic problems and product problems. The purpose of this study was to develop a block to prevent efflorescence.

  • Slab guideway, surface treatment, heat line installation, and joint connection for Automated Guideway Transit with rubber tire are researched. While the AGT with rubber tire is constructed in city, the precast slab guideway must be considered a reduction of the construction period and the noise under construction. which related with environment. To do that, a basic design and the structural analysis for the precast slab guideway with rubber tire are studied. The surface treatment and the heat line installation of that are also compared with currently used methods. Tining method is applied to the surface treatment adopted from the concrete pavement application currently in use. The connection method between the slab of bridge and precast guideway are suggested with a bolt type and a bond type. To minimize noise and vibration of the connection while the AGT is in driving, the slop connection method can be enhanced the serviceability.

Use of Recycled Brick Masonry Aggregate (RBMA) and Recycled Brick Masonry Aggregate Concrete (RBMAC) in Sustainable Construction

  • Use of recycled aggregates in portland cement concrete construction can offer benefits associated with both economy and sustainability. Testing performed to date indicates that RBMA can be used as a 100% replacement for conventional coarse aggregate in concrete that exhibits acceptable mechanical properties for use in structural and pavement elements, including satisfactory performance in some durability tests. RBMAC is currently not used in any type of construction in the United States. However, use of RBMAC could become a viable construction strategy as sustainable building practices become the norm. Rating systems such as LEED offer points for reuse of building materials (particularly on-site) and use of recycled materials. If renovations at an existing facility call for the demolition of existing brick masonry constructions, the rubble could be included as RBMA in new concrete pavement, sidewalks, or curb and gutter. Other potential uses for RBMAC could include those in the precast concrete industry, particularly in architectural precast concrete applications. In addition to providing acceptable strength and economy, the color of RBMA could be an attractive component of architectural precast concrete panels or other façade components. This paper explores the feasibility of use of RBMAC in several types of sustainable construction initiatives, based upon the findings of previous work with RBMAC produced from construction and demolition waste from a case study site. Guidance for obtaining and using RBMA is presented, along with a summary of material properties of RBMAC that will be useful to construction professionals.

프리캐스트 패널의 양중에 따른 거동 계측 연구 (Behavior Monitoring of Precast Concrete Panels in Lifting)

  • 본 연구에서는 도로용 패널로 사용되는 프리캐스트 콘크리트 슬래브의 양중, 이동 및 설치 등 제품의 제작 및 시공 시 발생될 수 있는 양중에 따른 안전 설계요소를 분석하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 축소형 슬래브(Full-scale용 슬래브의 1/2 크기 규모로 $1.8m{\times}3m{\times}0.15m$) 2개와 Full-scale용 슬래브($3.9m{\times}5.95m{\times}0.29m$) 1개를 제작하였으며, 콘크리트 및 철근 게이지를 설치하여 슬래브의 양중 및 트럭에 적재하여 이동 시 급작스런 동적거동으로 인해 발생되는 콘크리트 슬래브의 변형률을 측정하였다. 축소형 슬래브의 경우 60도로 양중 시 정지상태의 변형률에 비해 약 3.54배의 변형률에 도달하였다. 그러나 Full-scale용 슬래브는 양중 및 운반 중의 동적 거동을 계측한 결과 동적변형률이 그리 크지는 않아 양중과 운반 시에 파손될 염려는 거의 없는 것으로 판단되어 본 연구에서 채택한 양중 시스템의 안전성을 확인하였다.

Concrete pavement monitoring with PPP-BOTDA distributed strain and crack sensors

  • In this study, the feasibility of using telecommunication single-mode optical fiber (SMF) as a distributed fiber optic strain and crack sensor was evaluated in concrete pavement monitoring. Tensile tests on various sensors indicated that the $SMF-28e^+$ fiber revealed linear elastic behavior to rupture at approximately 26 N load and 2.6% strain. Six full-scale concrete panels were prepared and tested under truck and three-point loads to quantify the performance of sensors with pulse pre-pump Brillouin optical time domain analysis (PPP-BOTDA). The sensors were protected by precast mortar from brutal action during concrete casting. Once air-cured for 2 hours after initial setting, half a mortar cylinder of 12 mm in diameter ensured that the protected sensors remained functional during and after concrete casting. The strains measured from PPP-BOTDA with a sensitivity coefficient of $5.43{\times}10^{-5}GHz/{\mu}{\varepsilon}$ were validated locally by commercial fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors. Unlike the point FBG sensors, the distributed PPP-BOTDA sensors can be utilized to effectively locate multiple cracks. Depending on their layout, the distributed sensors can provide one- or two-dimensional strain fields in pavement panels. The width of both micro and major cracks can be linearly related to the peak strain directly measured with the distributed fiber optic sensor.

태양광 도로용 프리캐스트 콘크리트 블록 포장의 현장 적용과 계측 (Field Application and Performance Measurements of Precast Concrete Blocks Developed for Paving Roadways Capable of Solar Power Generation)

  • 지구온난화는 급격한 기후변화 및 자연재해를 발생시키고 있어 세계에서 가장 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이에 각국에서는 이산화탄소 배출 저감, 재생에너지 비중 확대 등의 정책을 대폭적으로 추진하면서 재생에너지에 관련된 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이중 태양광 발전은 기존의 도시 외곽의 유휴부지 뿐만 아니라 BIPV와 같이 도심지 내에 적용연구가 수행되고 있으며, 선진국에서는 도로에 태양광 발전을 적용하기 위한 실증시설 조성이 진행되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 태양광 발전이 가능한 도로 건설을 위해, 태양광 패널과 프리캐스트 콘크리트 블록을 모듈화 하기 위한 구조요소 설계와 시험시공을 수행하였다. 시공 후 6개월간 현장 적용성 평가를 위하여 미끄럼 저항성 및 블록의 침하량과 단차를 측정하였다. 실험 결과 미끄럼 저항성은 국내 일반도로의 기준은 만족하였으나, 고속도로의 기준은 만족하지 못하는 것으로 나타났으며 시간이 경과함에 따라 미끄럼 저하성이 감소되는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 블록의 침하량도 점차 미소하게 증가하는 경향을 보여 일부 단차가 발생하는 것으로 확인되었으나 도로의 허용 침하량을 고려하여 볼 때 매우 미소한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이후 일정기간 동안 추후 변화양상을 조사 분석함으로서 유지관리 기법의 확립이 요구된다.
