The purpose of this study was to find out the interior environment, teaching equipments and tools, practical usages and related problems of the Home Economics practice room as a special room of Home Economics in middle school. The data were collected with questionnaire through a mail from 150 teachers charged in the Technology $\cdot$ Home Economics of the middle schools in the Gyeonggi Province and Incheon Metropolitan City. There were Home Economics practice rooms in the most of the middle schools. The room was used for the Home Economics class as well as for many other activities. which sometimes disturbed the class in the room. The frequency of the usage of the room was relatively low and limited mostly to the cooking class and somewhat sewing class because of the lack of environmental equipment and facilities such as heating, cooling. ventilating systems and furnishings such as table. chair as well as teaching materials. etc. Teachers wanted to use the room for all units of the Home Economics class applied to various teaching methods in the room. The improvement of the interior environments and teaching materials could facilitate the variety of the class in the Home Economic practice room.

The integrated management system IMMC system) is developed for machining, measuring and checking by using IBM-PC under Borland C $\^$++/ environment. MMC system consists of following systems : DNC system, MascMC system (for measuring and checking) and MascCAM system : DNC system, MascNC system (for measuring and checking) and MascCAM system (for CAM). And some other modules support MMC system for practical usages. A vertical machining center equipped with FANUC 0MC is used for experiments. Feasibility of the system is confirmed by a large amount of experiments.

There is a limit manufacturing precast products for the construction industry using conventional cement concrete and precast iron due to many reasons. Therefore, precast product technologies using polymer concrete are widely developed across the world because using polymer concrete can be over come this limitation. This study reviewed and analyzed the trends of development and practical usages of ploymer concrete precast products in foreign countries based on selected literatures. It was observed that polymer concrete precast products have been widely used as utility structures wall and slab members. decoration products, traffic products, hydraulic structures and industry equipments.

Although the understanding of English tense system is a crucial factor for communicative English learning and teaching for EFL students, it has been neglected over the years. As with other areas of the grammar, difficulties may arise from the nature of the system itself or from differences between time, tense and aspect. Consequently, many learners face a considerable difficulty with the English tense system as they are more often unable to grasp the basic conceptual differences of present/present continuous, past/present perfect, will/be going to along with many others. More concerning fact is that lots of instructors or so-called native English teachers seem not to be aware of the importance of teaching English tense system. The purpose of this study is to review and examine various theories and practical usages of tense in order to establish and/or present better methods for teaching tenses. This paper is focused on comparatively exact distinction of time, physical notion from tense, grammatical category as well as sequences of tenses in view of school grammar and communicative function. At the end or middle of each chapter, efficient teaching and learning techniques or strategies on tenses are suggested to help instructors or learners who relentlessly face confusions in understanding tense and its usage for communicative English learning and teaching. This study attempts to influence learners' ability to recognize and write tense in authentic contexts not to mention spoken English.

The telecommunications of previous years have been utilized for internal usages, but those in current years have widely extended even to usages for Interorganizational Information System(IOIS) beyond its internal uses. Electronic Data Interchange(EDI), a subsidiary form of IOIS which permits interorganizational electronical exchanges of transaction documents through the telecommunications networks between and among computers, is expected to bring forth various innovative results with improved efficiency and productivity through the improvement and simplification of transaction processes, And it became needed and significant to review studies with practical values and necessity. This study is implemented on the basis of a judgement that Korea businesses can improve some of their structural problems of high costs by successfully adopting and implementing EDI system in their organizations. And it's also realized that more studies on the related subjects will benefit and be valuable for various applications. The major objectives of this research is to identify factors influencing in the implementation of EDI system by Korean business entities. Business which already implementation EDI system in their organizations were subjected to the survey. Also, this study intended to identify variables influencing in the implementation of EDI system and further provide directions needed in establishing or managing EDI system.

The importance of marketing on mobile platforms as well as mobile commerce is increasing dramatically in fashion industry. The purpose of this study was to categorize mobile fashion marketing strategies and to examine application usage motivations that influence brand attitude, purchase decisions, and post-purchase evaluation. Qualitative research methods, in particular focus-groups and in-depth interviews, were conducted to examine the typology of mobile marketing and fashion application usage motivations. Then, a modified survey was used to quantitatively examine what content consumers expect from fashion applications. Results of the qualitative study indicated that consumers perceive sensory (visual, tactile, auditory), relationship, information and practical marketing strategies through motives. Survey result from 229 consumers revealed four fashion application usage motives: sensory, relationship, information and practical. Based on these motives consumers were segmented into three groups: the experience/relationship-conscious, the product information-conscious, and the lifestyle information-conscious. The product information-conscious group showed higher level of monthly income and clothing expenses but lower level of mobile device usages. Lifestyle information-conscious group and experience/relationship-conscious group had higher level of attitude, and post-purchase evaluation. It was experience-relationship conscious consumers who spent more time in mobile use. This study shows a better understanding of mobile marketing environment of fashion applications.

Suffix arrays, fundamental full-text index data structures, can be efficiently used where patterns are queried many times. Although many useful full-text index data structures have been proposed, their O(nlogn)-bit space consumption motivates researchers to develop more space-efficient ones. However, their space efficient versions such as the compressed suffix array and the FM-index have been developed; those can not reduce the practical working space because their constructions are based on the existing suffix array. Recently, two direct construction algorithms of compressed suffix arrays from the text without constructing the suffix array have been proposed. In this paper, we compare practical performance of these algorithms of compressed suffix arrays with that of various algorithms of suffix arrays by measuring the construction times, the peak memory usages during construction and the sizes of their final outputs.

This survey is the second part of the history of science of Song and Yuan dynasties and will covers the period from Jin to Yuan. Following the first part, we look at the calendrical astronomy, mathematics and medicine. In this survey we again follow Yabuuchi's work on the history of science of Song and Yuan period and Du Shiran's work on the history of science of China. We start from the sciences and mathematics of Jin which inherited those of Northern Song and see how they influenced the whole China including Yuan and Southern Song. As a conclusion the tendency to practical usages in the Southern Song as well as the suppression of Han people in Yuan prevented developments of theoretical sciences in Yuan and Ming later.

In this review, we summarized some of membrane processes using the ion exchange membrane typically used in energy applications. Ion exchange membranes are classified according to their functions, formations (e.g. heterogeneous, homogeneous), and polymer type. Furthermore, various methods to prepare cation exchange membranes and anion exchange membranes were discussed in detail and also illustrated through a thorough review of the literature works. There are numerous reports highlighting recent research trends in the ion exchange membrane fabrication, however, in this review we will focus more on discussing the development made in ion exchange membranes and their potential usages in future technologies.

Machine element design is a very important course in the undergraduate program of mechanical engineering in that it presents traditional design concepts. While computer aided design(CAD) receives more attention, students tend to ignore the machine element design or traditional design concepts. However, design methodologies related to machine elements are utilized quite often in practical fields. Also, design methodologies provide good insight for the decision making process of modern design. Generally, CAD is used for simple drafting without the real design process in the undergraduate program. Design software has been developed for various machine elements. Through menu display, a user can select or furnish the design input such as design objects, dimensions, environmental forces and usages, and safety factors. Then the software carries out the design processes which are the same as those of textbooks. The result of the design is filtered to have the values in the standards. The designed machine element is drawn via commercial CAD software. The software has been developed with C language on a personal computer. The developed software is being utilized successfully in a design course, and the experiences are discussed in this paper. The software can be used in industries which require the repeated process of the machine element design.
