  • Construction that over 70% of the structure consists of concrete gets bigger and higher gradually and the demand of that is increasing as well. However, it's not easy to supply young and skilled persons on construction site because of social avoidance phenomena about 3D occupation, so it causes serious problems like aging and shortage of technicians. To solve the problems, executives related to the construction field make a management effort in various ways such as construction period shortening, labor productivity improvement and good quality but recently, they have an increasing interest in the necessity of the modularization of the high-rise building and the automation of the engineering development for the strengthening of international competitive power as more active and long-term alternatives. Therefore, this study is to propose the roadmap in order to make lots of efforts in developing construction technologies of high-rise buildings by performing a foundation study, the strategy for 4-step research development, on modularized construction system of concrete structure of high-rise buildings through domestic and foreign preceding research analyses associated with optimal design modularization technique, module factory automation and assembly automation of modularized objects.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship between internal capabilities and job satisfaction using the 7S model and propose measures to improve management performance through internal factors. For this study, seven research hypotheses were set up, and the survey conducted among members of all professions working in general hospitals in small and medium-sized cities in the provinces. From September 20 to October 20, 2016, 385 people were surveyed, and 327 pieces of data (84.9%) used for the study. Multiple regression analyses were performed to verify the effects of internal capabilities on job satisfaction. The analysis results showed that the explanatory power of the research model was suitable by showing 69.1%, and among the 7S factors, the leadership style (β=.392**), the organizational structure (β=.129*), the membership (β=.232**), and the management technique (β=.204*) showed a positive influence on job satisfaction. That has been confirmed to affect job satisfaction as the standardized factor values increase. Relationships between strategies, systems, and shared values on job satisfaction could not be identified. Significantly observed in the relationship between some internal capacity factors and job satisfaction is that internal capacity can be used as an alternative to an organization's performance improvement measures. Internal capacity can be affected by various environmental variables, such as establishment classification, size, and location. Further implications will also be provided for measuring future internal satisfaction levels separately from internal and external factors.

  • recently, world is progressing large quantity consumption with continuous Innovation and economic growth and pollution is accelerated at these process. Increase of industry activity and service that is point of corporation activity is discharging environmental pollutants at whole process to manufacture of end product and exhaust process from acquisition of raw material for accompanied product production hereupon. At the same time, being promoting resources consumption by that use much raw material, As a result, is becoming obstacle factors in sustainable development. So, corporation's responsibility for environmental protection is emphasized. Corporation which must prepare in green round or environmental problems should consider environmental effects that is happened over whole life of products that include waste treatment after raw material acquisition and use as well as selling end product simply. A Life Cycle Assessment techniques is normalized and standardized in International Standard Organization for technical committee 207(TC 207) world widely, and effort to apply in corporation's activity because mastering LCA techniques in domestic several corporations is undergone actively. Coming into effect of Kyoto's Protocol and International Organization for Standard 14000 series revision are presenting new survival principle in competition between country or corporation. LCA technique may become very useful means to corporation which wish to attempt environment management in real condition that awareness for environment is important. Also, An LCA to each product is going to cause big effects in corporation's whole image as well as competitive power raising for single product. Therefore, this research wishes to examine some instances for the future competitive product development at the estimation of environmental friendliness using LCA techniques and more theoretical considerations of the LCA techniques that can dominate corporation's fate.

  • Recently, many countries are making efforts for the development of ocean resources because the necessity and importance of the ocean resources are increased. Underwater sensor networks have emerged as a very powerful technique for many applications, including monitoring, measurement, surveillance and control and envisioned to enable applications for oceanographic data collection, ocean sampling, environmental and pollution monitoring, offshore exploration, disaster prevention, tsunami and seaquake warning, assisted navigation, distributed tactical surveillance, and mine reconnaissance. The idea of applying sensor networks into underwater environments (i.e., forming underwater sensor networks) has received increasing interests in monitoring aquatic environments for scientific, environmental, commercial, safety, and military reasons. The data obtained by observing around the environment are wireless-transmitted by a radio set with various waves. According to the technical development of the medium set, some parameters restricted in observing the ocean have been gradually developed with the solution of power, distance, and corrosion and watertight by the seawater. The actual matters such as variety of required data, real-time observation, and data transmission, however, have not enough been improved just as various telecommunication systems on the land. In this paper, a wireless management system will be studied through a setup of wireless network available at fishery around the coast, real-time environmental observation with RF sensor, and data collection by a sensing device at the coastal areas.

  • An optimal unit commitment model for efficient management of water and energy resources in a basin using combined mixed integer programming is developed. The combined mixed integer programming model is able to solve the inconsistency problem that may occur from mixed integer programming models. The technique which enables the use of conditional constraints and either-or constraints in the linear programming is also suggested. As a result of applying the combined mixed integer programming model to Lower Colorado River Basin in United States. the basin efficiency is decreased by 1.53% from the results of the mixed integer programming, while it is increased by 0.67% from the results of the historical operation. It is found that the decreased allowable error between power supplies and demands in the combined mixed integer programming causes the decreased basin efficiency.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify biomechanical characteristics of glide and delivery motion of In-Sung Hwang, player who is a member of the national team among the finalists in the men's shot put at the 2010 National Sports Festivals. Three-Dimensional motion analysis using a system of 3 video cameras at a sampling frequency of 60 Hz was performed for this study. During the glide and delivery phase the results showed following characteristics; 1) The glide type was suitable for the short-long technique, but the trajectory of shot at the glide and delivery phase showed a different trajectory pattern with "S-shaped" type of elite players due to many deviating from central axis of the APSS(athletic-plus shot system). 2) Left knee was more flexed during failed trials compared to successful trials but COG was higher. Therefore, the player showed less stability of COG as he may not get enough breaking force at the left foot. 3) Furthermore, it would be required to have strong muscle power at the trunk, throwing arm, and the lower extremity in order to achieve maintain a low projection angle of the release.

  • New optical transmission links technique for compensating of the distorted wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) signals due to group velocity dispersion (GVD) and self phase modulation (SPM) in single mode fiber (SMF) are proposed. The proposed optical links have optical phase conjugator (OPC) placed at nearby WDM transmitter or receiver and repeater spans with artificial distribution of SMF length and residual dispersion per span (RDPS). It is confirmed that optimal link configuration expanding effective launching power range and effective net residual dispersion (NRD) by improving system performance is that having OPC closely placed at WDM receiver and the gradually descended distribution of SMF length and RDPS of each repeater spans, related with the gradually increased optical link length. And, it is also confirmed that NRD is controlled by postcompensation in optimal optical link with OPC closely placed at WDM receiver.

  • Purpose: This study was carried out in order to examine organizational commitment in dental technicians and turnover intention level according to it, and to analyze its effects. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire survey was carried out by having convenience sampling as 200 dental technicians. An analysis of the collected data was computationally processed by using SPSS Win 19.0 program. An analytical technique was made by using statistical techniques such as frequency & percentage, t-test, One-way ANOVA analysis. The following are the analytical results of the collected materials. Results: In consequence of analyzing organizational commitment level in research subjects, there was a significant difference in the items for age, task field, job position in charge, career in dental laboratory technology, and monthly income(p<.05). The average of the item for organizational commitment level stood at 3.29, thereby having been indicated to be high. As a result of analyzing turnover intention level in research subjects, there was a significant difference in the items for task field, job position in charge, career in dental laboratory technology, and monthly income(p<.05). The average of the item for turnover intention reached 3.04, thereby having appeared to be relatively high. As for a correlation between organizational commitment and turnover intention, all variables were shown to have inverse correlation at a significant level. In consequence of conducting regression analysis in order to analyze the influence of organizational commitment upon turnover intention, a factor of having the most impact on turnover intention appeared to be normative commitment. The test value of the model was statistically significant. The explanation power about this was indicated to be 26.9%. Conclusion : In the above findings, the dental technicians are considered to need to be immersed in work with a sense of mission in performing job in charge, to strive to possibly have an opportunity of achievement and self-growth, and to perform a research and development in a manpower management strategy such as turnover prevention.

  • Objective: The purpose of this prospective study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of screw fixation without bone fusion for unstable thoracolumbar and lumbar burst fracture. Methods: Nine patients younger than 40 years underwent screw fixation without bone fusion, following postural reduction using a soft roll at the involved vertebra, in cases of burst fracture. Their motor power was intact in spite of severe canal compromise. The surgical procedure included postural reduction for 3 days and screw fixations at one level above, one level below and at the fractured level itself. The patients underwent removal of implants 12 months after the initial operation, due to possibility of implant failure. Imaging and clinical findings, including canal encroachment, vertebral height, clinical outcome, and complications were analyzed. Results: Prior to surgery, the mean pain score (visual analogue scale) was 8.2, which decreased to 2.2 at 12 months after screw fixation. None of the patients complained of worsening of pain during 6 months after implant removal. All patients were graded as having excellent or good outcomes at 6 months after implant removal. The proportion of canal compromise at the fractured level improved from 55% to 35% at 12 months after surgery. The mean preoperative vertebral height loss was 45.3%, which improved to 20.6% at 6 months after implant removal. There were no neurological deficits related to neural injury. The improved vertebral height and canal compromise were maintained at 6 months after implant removal. Conclusion: Short segment pedicle screw fixation, including fractured level itself, without bone fusion following postural reduction can be an effective and safe operative technique in the management of selected young patients suffering from unstable burst fracture.
